The Numbers Behind Lewis’ Silverstone Win
- Lewis’ ninth win at the British Grand Prix sets a new record for most F1 wins at a single Grand Prix. He had previously held this record with Michael Schumacher at the French Grand Prix, and himself at the Hungarian Grand Prix!
- Lewis also breaks the record for most wins at a single circuit (nine), at Silverstone.
- It is the 15th time Lewis has stood on the podium at Silverstone, extending the record for most podiums at a single F1 circuit.
- Lewis extends his consecutive podium streak at Silverstone to 12. He has finished every F1 race at Silverstone in the Hybrid era (since 2014) on the podium. That includes 11 British Grands Prix and the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix in 2020.
- This is the 104th Formula One victory of Lewis’ career, and his first since the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix - 945 days previously.
- At 39 years and 182 days old, Lewis becomes the oldest winner in F1’s modern era, and the oldest since Nigel Mansell triumphed at the 1994 Australian Grand Prix aged 41 years and 97 days.
- Lewis becomes the first driver to win a Formula One race after competing in more than 300 Grands Prix. He achieves this at the 344th attempt.
- The time difference between Lewis’ first F1 win and his latest is also an F1 record. 17 years and 1 month has passed since the 2007 Canadian Grand Prix, Lewis’ first win.
- Lewis also becomes the first driver in Formula One history to win at least one race in 16 different seasons (2007-2021 & 2024). This sets a new record and breaks the tie with Michael Schumacher.
- The podium is Lewis’ 199th in F1, extending his record for most podiums in the sport’s history.
- It is the 299th time Lewis has finished in the points at an F1 Grand Prix. He could become the first driver to score 300 Grands Prix points finishes next time out in Hungary.
- Lewis’ podium is his 150th with Mercedes in F1. That extends the record he already held for most podiums scored with the same team.
- Win number 83 for Lewis with Mercedes also extends the record held for most wins with the same team in F1.

I would argue that Megumi leaving Gojo out of his loved ones when thinking about his idealist life with Tsumiki and Yuji highlights the continued tragedy that is Satoru Gojo's lack of communication and connection skills. Alsoooo (and this might be an asspull) it feeds into my perception that both Megumi and Gojo wanted the relationship to be deeper but both couldn't ever come to truly understand one another and connect on that level. And I have alot more comments on that but that will wait till another day if I feel like it lol

not to hornets nest again so soon but erm. ok. i love when ppl have many different hcs for characters, like with sexuality and race and the like! ithink it's valuable and fun and insightful, and there's just so much to chew on about how different lenses can shape and mold the subject of them. at the same time. however. i do think you have to mb unpack. how certain things reflect and how they can become coded. mb. like we should think about why we think certain things. in my opinion.

The stupid streaming service website has decided that I am forbidden from watching Ted Lasso, specifically. I have tried six times and every time there is some sort of critical error. Usually it just freezes but on one memorable occasion everything was in French and it wouldn't let me change the language preferences.
#this is not a streaming website anyone's likely to have heard of. it's called simply the best tv (it's the worst actually) and you get it if#you have starlink internet. which is unfortunately the least malfunctioning internet option if you live in the middle of nowhere like#my parents do. anyways it has nearly every show and movie you can think of BUT it only works half the time. infuriating.#like everything elon musk and his associates have ever created it's very ambitious and egregiously fails to deliver#hylian rambles#it never works in firefox. i have to use edge. i hate edge.#and its search engine requires that you spell everything perfectly or you'll get no results#it has the bare minimum of buttons and settings and no captions ever. or language settings! that's why i couldn't get it out of french!#it's horribly organized so you gotta know exactly what you're looking for or you'll never find anything good amidst the heap of stuff#also no one in my family has ever intentionally watched things in french on here. even though my sibling speaks it. they just don't bother#to fight with this thing because it's Simply The Worst

#ive talked about it on twitter before but not here#i really don't like hisuian arcanine#especially as a choice for volo#and roserade is better-ISH but as it canonly looks#also not on the money#but while i've thought about replacing these two on his PLA team#i feel he should still have pokemon that appeared on cynthia's dppt teams#(another problem i have w hisuian arcanine)#milotic is not a volo pokemon to me and same w gastrodon#so ultimately i'd like to redesign what he already has#i've drawn arcanine to look more like the og but i still didnt like it#so we gotta go full stone lion dog w witchcraft fire spells#and roserade can be more like a bunch of thorny flowering vines that picks up old theatre masks in the celestican ruins#togekiss is already designed and the others i wouldnt change too much#other than making garchomp slightly more A10-like#and lucario a bit more monochrome to be more like an anubis#trying to get out of the most crushing art block ive had in a WHILE so hopefully ill get to draw some of these ideas soon

Me starting another bg3 run where I will make virtually all the same decisions in mostly the same order as if there isn't different branching paths
#the horrifying idea of things going differently if i choose something different#my ass sitting here wanting other content for it as if i'm not actively refusing to make the choices to get other content#i've still only romanced astarion bro#i had my og. the EXACT copy of my og but durge this time.#began a karlach run to romance wyll and am still in early act 1 so nothing will happen for a long ass time#and i left that because i missed my paladin. the party feels incomplete without them bro#started a rogue/fighter run of one of my ocs retrofitted into the game.#but also am incapable of staying true to the character cause i'll miss stuff if i do and i need to do EVERYTHING explore EVERYWHERE#nearly couldn't get over the hurdle of having no strength and no speak with animals (so karlach and wyll gotta speak to critters)#then just started a sorcerer to try to really push myself to branch out. but all it did was reaffirm that being a spell caster sucks#no jump cause no strength no health no armour no decent melee. like motherfucker pick a struggle#luckily that oc is into music so sorcerer-bard here we come#but every single one of these bitches is good aligned#(and anything i SHOULD do different i don't cause there's still different varoeties of good but alas)#still haven't romanced another party member (but that's not ENTIRELY my fault!!!!)#my og/og durge was the same person i couldn't just romance someone else. they got with astarion i don't make the rules#karlach WILL romance wyll if i ever get farther in#my rogue/fighter oc is heading the baldur's gate for his boyfriend and they have an open relationship so he COULD fuck other people#alas he would never due to his own issues#BUT THIS WILL CHANGE#my sorcerer/bard (who is the boyfriend of the rogue. just imagining the plot as if he was on the adventure or rogue was in baldur's gate)#and he WOULD fuck other people no strings attached#so my goal is to fuck all potentially non-monogamous party members#so lae'zel shadowheart astarion#wyll is a slow burn so that's emotional depth we wouldn't put in#gale is king or monogamy (plus him and this character together would make the rogur pass the fuck out)#karlach is complicated because of the no touch thing? hard to say how much emotional depth ends up required there#meanwhile shadowheart has mentioned she does no strings attached hook-ups#lae'zel propositions you ten seconds in for a good tumble#and from romancing astarion i know fucking the first time seems like it'll just be casual hook up time and i needn't go further

whoever told me that abjuration wizards suck were lying to my faceeee see this subclass is so cool. i guess if someone likes playing glass cannon wizards it's a shit class but this girl i've got is. well she is tormenting my dm is what she's doing. good class
#what you're gonna do is hit level six okay and you're gonna#cast mage armor on yourself and in addition to that since it's an abjuration spell you're gonna add arcane ward (temp hp)#and at lvl6 you can use a reaction to direct any damage an ally takes within 30 feet of you onto your arcane ward and you're gonna#cast shield when you need to (Careful tho. only one reaction per round. redirect damage Or shield) and since shield is also an abjuration#spell you're gonna take the level you cast it at and double it. and put that into your arcane ward's hp. any abjuration spell puts hp#back into the ward. MEANWHILE you're concentrating on witch bolt. and you're not even risking con saves because you Aren't Getting Hit#so you are essentially nullifying damage that others take (if your ward hp depletes you take the remaining damage and can't cast it again)#while frying people alive every turn forever and ever until they die or go out of range. bless this bizarre combat medic wizard build#i don't have the numbers but i know a'velle took a good half of the fight's damage on her own and only lost 2hp in the fight#one day i decided that i wanted to play a combat medic wizard. and then i was like. wow this is not useful. and then level 6 hit#miss girl was standing there crit-frying a crocodile alive while waiving damage over to her ward and boosting its hp with bonus actions#gotta say. the fight was two crocs and a couple of little guys. miss girl dropped both of the crocs#NOO WAIT THE WARD DOESN'T DROP AT 0HP I JUST HAVE TO CAST ANOTHER ABJURATION SPELL. WOAG

Gotta say, running a full and proper Carian Knight build in Elden Ring so far has been both very fun and decently strong, commanding pretty alright damage, strong versatility at many ranges, a very wide and variable moveset with plenty of tools for almost any situation, and frighteningly good pressure when applied correctly!
so far it seems like the biggest weakness of this build so far is realizing that in order to make it work the way I want I'm gonna have to level Intelligence, Dexterity, Strength, Endurance, Mind and Vigor simultaneously
Early game (which I'm still in, so I can't speak for mid or late game yet) it seems very hungry for levels, and it's been something of a struggle to get this character off the ground
That said, despite the slower start she's showing a lot of promise already, I just hope she doesn't drastically fall off in effectiveness around Mountaintops, like some other builds I've run
#I have a long list of weapons and spells I want to use#admittedly I've got most of the spells already#and they all require a buncha levels in a lotta shit#so it's a lot harder to tank up than it is with other builds I've ran#HELL of a lot harder to tank up than it was with Patty#who started out with the stats required for everything she needed so all I had to do from the start was pump vigor#lmao#so far it seems like she keeps running out of either health fp or both between graces#one of those can be mitigated by simply gittin' gud but the other one I just gotta put more levels into I guess#because I'm not gonna go through the trouble of gathering those flashy sword spells and the means to cast them and then just not do that#I don't buy pastries just to look at 'em ya feel?#pun's text posts#Elden Ring

I think if people built Pend Magicians (with a side of Performapal, Odd Eyes, and whatever additions you think are funny i.e. Hallohallo for an additional tuner option) and duelled eachother in a race to get to Zarc first, I think they'd maybe enjoy Pendulum more.
