I just wanna say this now before it gets bad.

This comic has been going great, and that’s cuz I’ve been super excited to keep working on it, which is fantastic! And I’m sure y’all are happy about that too! You don’t have to wait so long on updates cuz I work on it pretty often atm!

But please understand that it’s not gonna be like this forever, so don’t expect frequent updates from me. I’ll get burnt out and there may be months before I update again. Hopefully it won’t get that serious, but just so y’all know.

Im only saying this cuz I know how the fans can get, specifically involving links meet aus and comics, and I’m not tolerating anyone trying to rudely tell me to continue working on the comic. y’all theatre is crazy. i love it and that it’s my job but also it has made me want to bleach my hair again.

i’m doing a jr production rn so kids 8-18 (i can’t even get into the bullshit the kids have pulled but just know that there has been a lot of it) and the backstage side is/has been insane. people just keep. getting. sick.

costume designer? on vacation (she deserves it but i miss her). head of make up (who is also an actor with a larger role in the show)? sick monday tuesday of tech week but they’re good now. director? was sick sunday monday of tech week but she’s good now. stage manager? sick thursday (last day of tech) friday (today aka when our show opens). only other people in charge of things backstage during shows? two people at the opposite ends of being teenagers (the prop masters/crew).

my jobs? assistant stage manager and technical director. except now we’re missing the sm so i’m also the sm even tho during shows i’m only supposed to be tech. i have also been the most consistent person throughout this whole rehearsal process (medically mentally emotionally (as far as they know lol)) and am genuinely afraid of how hard i am going to crash when we close.
