Ain’t NO way people are trying to convince me that Shadow Weaver was “redeemed” and Emperor Belos was “broken and manipulated by his times” 😂😂

Firstly, Shadow Weaver never once apologized or tried to change herself she only stuck around the Rebellion cause Prime was worse. She was still a manipulating, conniving, power hungry asshat who only sacrificed herself cause she had to. She knew that Adora wasn’t gonna leave Catra behind and the “Im so proud of you” and “you’re welcome” Isn’t a redemption by any stretch of the imagination. Hell the show even enforces this in the episode “Failsafe” where both Adora and Catra call her out (AGAIN)

As far as Belos goes, we know that both he and his brother Caleb were basically colonizers who wound up in the Boiling Isles and from what we know with Caleb is that he got to know people there, changed his ways, and fell in love with someone. Meanwhile there are people like Belos who don’t change, killed god knows how many witches, his own brother, made god knows how many clones of his brother, and at the very end tries to convince Luz that he was “cursed” and it was a “curse” that made him do what he did but she and we aren’t buying it probably cause she remembers how he was even before he became Belos.

Basically what I’m sayin is that yes there are some villains who became that way cause they’re broken (ie The Collector, Catra, I’d probably throw Andrius into this as well cause he was manipulated by his dad) and some people just aren’t worth that second chance cause they are incapable of change.

Also OMG that finale was Everything! I haven’t cried that hard at a series finale since Shera back in 2020 oh my god! Ahhhh! Also I’m getting that Flapjack tattoo and none of you can stop me! Muahaha!!!

Had someone make an offer for something I’ve got up on ebay. Offer was half of what I listed it as, so I sent back an offer that was a bit more (not even halfway between it and the original price) because that’s how haggling works (which I assumed was what we were doing given the insulting low first offer). They then come back with something lower than their original offer.

Like no, bitch, don’t fucking insult me. I’m not desperate, you can’t lower your offer. Declined.

where are all the trans men…at least in the queer spaces im in its predominantly trans women which is great yknow? but there will be like one or two other trans guys. if that. and they won’t be super active. i saw someone make a reddit post with similar feelings about bisexual men. and yeah. i’m gonna be honest, i think the way misandry has been made into a cute and funny joke and people casually throw out things about hating all men has deeply affected men in minority groups. the fact that people don’t see this astounds me. because i am a trans man, people see “man” and block out anything i’m saying like this. if i say i’m genderfluid, i might get a bit more leeway. it’s just frustrating. it’s maddening. i already have to deal with bs from cis people, i shouldn’t have to deal with hatred from my own community. it was so bad i was afraid to transition. i have a fucking complex about how being a girl is better bc it’s been fucking drilled into me. i’ve seen other trans men say similar things. when will people start listening?

stop saying shit like that. it affects ppl. correct your friends. Just give people the same respect you want to be given. it’s that simple. no matter their gender, sexuality, orientation, whatever. it should not be a hot button issue for me to say, hey maybe it’s a bad thing when we say ALL of “x group” is bad about anyone. but people seem to have blinders on right now.

right in front of me, people will say they hate all men and don’t trust them. do they not see me as a man, or do they simply not care? why do i have to tell people to have empathy( to acknowledge nuance.

it’s LITERALLY i’ve been bit by pitbulls so all pitbulls should be put down. this kind of logic has been used time and time again and it’s so old! it’s so tired! no one is benefiting from it.
