Big headcanon that he adored him so much, LWJ actually had to stop his brother from spoiling him because he wanted A-Yuan to be equal and have the same experience as the other Lan juniors so there wasn’t any favoritism/jealousy or bullying against him.

Watched the first episode of Renegade Nell last night. Fight scene not even 5 minutes out the gate and the attention to detail on Nell’s abilities are just chefs kiss. The whole opening was just so well choreographed in my opinion.

Her interactions with her family especially with George is just so sweet. Found it incredibly cute when George held her hand and she just smiled. Also let George wear her hat.

Not to mention first time Thomas showed up I immediately wanted to punch his face so much I took great joy when it got kicked in to the point you could have just made that the entire episode. So much packed in and yet didn’t feel rushed.

Sorry I’m rambling on but can’t wait until I can sit down to watch the next episodes.

Charlie and Lucifer’s relationship is so relatable to me because it’s like. You’re a kid and you saw your dad as the “fun dad,” but as you grew you realized how absent he was and still is in your life and you start to resent him for it. For not being there in the most emotionally important parts of your life.

And the worst part is you can’t even be mad at him, because he hasn’t been absent due to being a dick. He just missed out on your growing and, with neither party having social skills or being willing to bring up their issues, cannot connect with you in any meaningful way.

Well… in Charlie and Lucifer’s case… Not until they finally talk and can see how the other has been hurting.

i get so feral thinking about usopp’s relationship with giants in the series. he was so inspired by broggy and dory as warriors and became even more motivated to reach his dream,,,,, he exposed the lies of the world government to the giants at eneis lobby thereby helping them and his crew,,,,, a giant lifted him up and proclaimed him a god after he fought for the tontatta!!!! idk something about lil ol usopp constantly making connections with some of the strongest beings makes me so emotional. if usopp doesn’t have the best arc of all time when we get to elbaf i will be rioting and storming oda’s home

I don’t want to make Robin’s podcast about Steve but I’m totally taking notes as I listen for future Stobin content

One thing for now really stuck out for me: in 1983 Robin said she had no friends.

I don’t know what happened between 1983 and 1985 so maybe she got some friends, but if she didn’t, it means both Robin and Steve had no friends (of appropriate age) and they became each others only (and best) friend at least for a while

Like, I thought about what it meant for Steve to finally have a genuine friendship, but now I’m thinking about Robin who used to hide in mr. Hauser class and eat lunch with a professor who suddenly has someone who drives her places even if it’s inconvenient, listens to her and doesn’t find her too annoying and doesn’t shame her for her interests.

Not to mention, they both have history with their former best friends, Barb and Tommy, so other than share Upside Down trauma, they share “normal” teenage trauma and they totally have conversations about it.

Given Steve’s storyline I always thought “wow Steve is really lucky he found robin” but now I’m thinking “wow robin got really lucky too”.
