Profile Update - Username Change

Whaddup, my fellow hounds! Welcome back to my blog! If you haven’t noticed already, this mun’s got a new name.

Oh, don’t worry! I didn’t go anywhere. This blog is still run by me, Melodtaku, but I’m not called that anymore.

“Melodtaku” was actually a username derived from my initial persona/Zoosona identity, “Melody (the werewolf)". For a while, I use to like having this name since it kinda reflects my personality, and it's the best username I can come up with.

However, the name only lacks one thing: a significant representation of my blog.

What I want users on Tumblr to see a glimpse from my name or the blog itself is that I am passionate about expressing my interest through theories, discussions, fanart, original AUs, semi-fandomless/fandomless content, and more!

I give you Embersekai, a portmanteau of Ember (my current persona name) and isekai ("different world" in Japanese which represents my love for any Fandom I put my interest in)!!!

Yet, it will take one baby step at a time. In the distant future, I plan on adding more post genres here, typing out post schedules, opening post submissions, and customizing my HTML theme. But for now, the name change is enough.

Hey, everyone.

I heavily apologize for my long inactivity on my old account. My personal life has been keeping me busy for about 5 months, and I didn’t have the time or energy to upload new content.

But there’s more…

This isn’t the first time I’ve gone through something like this 5 months ago. I went through these long hiatus so many times on that account.

Whenever I wanted to upload content after a long hiatus, I would delete all of my old content, including my introduction posts, so I can start fresh by remaking my content. I’d do it over and over again.

I have a bad habit of procrastinating in the social media world. Even when I have all of my ideas ready, I would much rather be doing something else. It dragged on for days, weeks, and even months.

Also, I often struggle with a creativity block (writer’s block to be precise). This condition makes it harder for me to come up with new content.

Now, everything I’m typing out aren’t excuses so I can “start over” on this new account just so I can go through a long hiatus and go through the delete-and-remake process again. I’m dead honest.

I’m posting this so I can say I’m sorry and try to make it up to you guys some how. Now, I felt like I’ve neglected my blog and the entire Tumblr community. I regret my mistakes.

But that’s gonna change…

This time I’ll try post at any time of day without going through long inactivity, depending on whenever I get them finished.

I’m fighting back against my creativity block and procrastination while trying to plan on new content to see.

I won’t let this blog down nor make the same mistakes again!

Hey I love your comics!! But can you please use a read more on them? Scrolling endlessly past them a dozen times on my dash isn’t the vibe, and I’m reluctant to reblogged because the posts are so long. Excited to see what else you’ve got coming in the future!!

Sorry, but no. I’ve tried using read mores and the fact is that the engagement is substantially lower than leaving them out. Both Leda and Seventh Score got a fraction of the love both the witch and werewolf comics got.

You do have some options, though. Mobile allows you to turn on a thing that automatically shortens long posts, and all my comics are tagged “do you love the color of the comic” so that you can have them be hidden by default.

can i ask why some hotd fans take the show as canon? or pick and choose? because we already know they changed shit up from the books. and the books are, to me, the only things that matter. that’s what came first. also i’m genuinely curious, because if we already know that f&b is told by the perspective of very unreliable narrators, why are we fighting so much? i don’t understand
