“Amen”
You left church in your floaty white dress. It was a little too short for your liking, so you felt a little bad all through the service but it was such a hot summer day that you just had to make a little exception.
You thought to yourself that it for sure won’t be a problem since you’ve been so good all your life. As long as your mother didn’t see it would be fine. For her you just never tried hard enough. Never were good enough. But you had God. So who else would you even need to be truly happy, right?
-
“C’mon babyyy, you’re gonna love it! I just know it. The music will be soo good. And if it makes you feel any better I will be driving, so we both won’t be drinking. Even though, I have to say, I think it won’t kill you to have a shot or something and a little fun here and there. I’m sure Jesus will forgive you.” your best friend tried to convince you, once again.
She does this every second Friday of every month since every second Saturday they would play your favorite music at her favorite club.
You never understood why it was so important to her for you to get so close to potentially dinning. She called it fun.
You called it temptation. Alcohol wasn’t really a sin in itself. It was rather what could come from drinking it.
“I’m not seeking anyone’s forgiveness. I don’t want to give God a reason to have to forgive me.” You never once in your life even had to confess.
“Whatever. Please come? I am begging you!”
Most of the time you said no, so it really surprised you that she never gave up.
She was just so persistent.
“Okay I’ll go. Under one condition. You don’t ask me for at least three months.”
Most of the time you said no. Not every time. Maybe one of the reasons why she never stopped asking.
“Deal!”
-
“I am so not wearing this. Not a chance.” You looked at the tiny blue dress your best friend held in her hands. Not only was it way to short but it was also very tight. You had seen it on her before and it was beautiful but just too revealing for the way you were raised.
“C’mon don’t be such a prude! You’d look so hot and… if I can say. Fuckable. Not that you have to fuck but you’d certainly not pay ANYTHING tonight.”
“Stop it. I’m not being a prude, I just have my beliefs and values. So I would like to wear this please. What’s wrong with this?”
She looked down on you raising her eyebrows and sighing. “Nothing’s wrong. It’s cute I guess. Just not for a club. You look like you’re gonna sell me a house or something.”
She probably had a point. You were wearing a pencil skirt and a blouse after all.
“Okay so I have a few tricks up my sleeve that would make you look like you just got of off work and went to the club right after. Sexy but still formal. What do you say?”
You gave in. She had to have her fun every once in a while. You too were so different that most of the time it surprised you she was even friends with you. “Okay let’s do it.”
-
“And??”
“It looks… good. I’m actually surprised. Thank you.”
“I knew you would like it! Ah I am a genius.” she said in a sing sang voice.
You looked at yourself in the mirror. The first three buttons of your blouse were opened which was just enough to expose your collarbones but not your cleavage. Your hair was pinned up messily. Just as if it once was sleek and fell apart because you were at work or generally doing something.
You looked down. Your skirt was at knee length and even though you purposefully picked it it just didn’t fit the vibe.
You sighed. She’s gonna love this you thought.
“Do you have a mini skirt? Or, i don‘t know, a pencil skirt that’s a little shorter than mine? I don’t like the way this looks.“
She let out a little squeak of excitement. „Yes! I have the perfect skirt for you.“
-
Pulling on the black denim skirt the third time in 10 minutes you wondered what you were thinking agreeing to this. Sure you went to the club before but never in anything this revealing. Your thighs were out!
At least it covers my ass for all I know…
“10$ and ID please.” you did as you were told by the security and after getting through you were immediately introduced by the smell of sweat and alcohol, naked bodies and loud music.
“I’m gonna get myself a drink and a hot man to pay. You should do the same! Or should I bring you a coke later on?” She screamed over the sound of hips don’t lie.
“I’ll be fine go and have fun!”
It was kinda always like this which was one of the many reasons why you didn’t understand why she needed you to come with her in the first place.
Of course you danced together and she would never leave without you but the first two hours you were without an exception always alone.
That was the time where she found herself any good looking young man to flirt with and get drunk without paying.
Sometimes she even made out with these men but it rarely happened.
Later she always came back to you very tipsy and you guys danced the night away until your feed hurt.
Of course her understanding of dancing the night away was very different from yours but so far that was never a problem.
You had different lifestyles but deep down the same morals and values which is what was most important.
“Can I?”
Your had quickly turned around and collapsed with the hard chest of a tall man.
Out of reflex he put his hand on your waist which caused you to jump and immediately take two steps back.
„Sorry?“
You stared at him a little too long for your liking. But he was just so gorgeous. Sharp jaw line, short black hair with an undercut, subtle hint of a beard and oh so many muscles.
„I asked you if I you could let me pass. I kinda need to get to the bar my friend is hitting on a random woman. Again.“
You blinked just now finding a way back to reality.
„Yes! Sorry!“
Quickly you took a step aside.
The stranger chuckled. „Don’t worry. It’s not that important. He just can be very- persistent.“
You couldn’t help but take a look at the bar. Only spotting your best friend who already held her first drink of the night in her hand and was sitting dangerously close to a young man with greyish hair.
Tonight there would be a little make out session. You could already tell.
„Who‘s your friend?“ you asked still not looking back at him.
Suddenly he was really close. His hand on your back, right between your shoulders, his head next to yours. You could literally feel this strange man everywhere.
For some reason it didn’t bother you. In your eyes he was still very polite about it.
„See him over there? Right next to the girl in pink.“
Now you looked at him. More shocked than anything else though.
„Gray hair?“
„Yes gray hair. Why‘re you so surprised? He‘s not that old.“ the man laughed
„Ohh yeah I‘m sure of that.“ you let out a child like giggle. „The girl in pink is my best friend. So no need to worry. I bet she hit on him first.“
He let out a loud laugh and looked at you. “Then these two belong together I suppose, hm.” His expression suddenly changed to something way more serious and he said:
“Maybe you and I belong together as well. I believe in fate, do you, sweetheart?” His voice was so deep and his aura so masculine that it made you feel all shy.
-
“And then he said don’t take it the wrong way as if he didn’t just say the most vile thing to my face!” Daichi, you found out that was his name right after the two of you decided to spend the rest of the night together, chuckled. “It’s interesting what you call vile. At least to me it’s rather a statement than an insult.”
You gulped looking at your empty glass. “He called me fuckable. In the presence of my mother and father. It’s disrespectful.”
“It’s true.” You chocked looking at him in disbelief. Did he just call you fuckable?! “Wouldn’t’ve said it in front of your family, of course. But it’s true nonetheless.”
You felt his eyes peering into your soul. Staring you down as if he waited for you to say something. Do something. Instead you stood up. “I need- I’m going to get a new soda. See ya.” And then you left him behind. Feeling his eyes following your every move.
When you came back Daichi was on his phone, seemingly not paying any more thought to what had just happened. Being a gentleman man once again, he put his phone down, the moment he noticed you. Smiling at you in a calming manner. As if he senses your unsure demeanour.
“What is it with you?” He asked.
“What do you mean?” You frowned.
“There’s something about you. Something I can’t explain. You seem so- pure? But not childlike. Mature and confident. But still shy and bashful when talking about sex or alcohol. You’ve surely done those things, right? I mean you must be my age. Everyone has done those things by now.”
You blushed. You fricking blushed. Not once in your life were you ever embarrassed of your inexperience and most definitely not about the reason why. But now. Now you were. Not embarrassed by your religion or its beliefs of course, but by your lack of a response. Instea you started to stutter like a child. He interrupted your little stammer of words.
“You’re a virgin. Aren’t you?” You chocked on your spit. Quickly trying to gain back some semblance of confidence. “I am, yes. I don’t see any shame in that.”
“No, no, you’re right. There isn’t. It just surprises me. What are you waiting for? The one?” He let out a unbelievable loud laugh. As if that was the most ridiculous thought he’d ever thought about.
“Marriage, actually. I am very religious, you know. That’s also why I haven’t been drinking tonight.” He looked at you, eyes wide open. Mouth lightly agape. Now it was you who laughed, even if only quietly.
“I am so sorry! I didn’t mean to- I didn’t want to disrespect you or your beliefs. I- god this is embarrassing. I’m sorry. Really.”
“It’s okay. You couldn’t have known. I know there aren’t many religious people who actually live it all out. Doesn’t bother me of course, everyone should have the right to do as they want. I just chose this way.”
“Did you, though? Or did your family tell you it was the only right way?” He asked suddenly being very close. His hot breath fanning over the side of your face. You gulped.
“They did teach me many things of course. Especially my mother. Like that alcohol is only for special occasions, we only ever drink wine when I’m at church for example. Or that I am to cover myself to a certain level. My body shall only be seen by my future husband. She also taught me sex isn’t for pleasure. It’s an act of love-“ he turned your face towards him with two fingers. Staring at you. “and- and-”
“And?” He raised his eyebrows, smirking.
“And it should be intimately, with my future husband only. To make- a family. A woman shouldn’t-“ his finger carefully touched your lower lip, pulling it down a little. You took a deep breath. Taking his wrist and removing his hand from your face.
“A woman shouldn’t give herself away to just anybody.”
He nodded slowly. Still looking at you intensely. “And I get that. One question though. Did they tell this to the men too? You have a brother, right? You told me so. Does he have to safe himself for marriage? Is he allowed to give himself away whenever he likes or does he have to cover his body and wait for his wife to come along and make love to him intimately to make a family? Answer me and if the answer pleases me I’ll leave you be.”
You sighed. Truthfully you’ve thought about this before. Especially when you were younger and had a little crisis of faith. You’d pushed it down though. This is how it was to be. Him out there and you in church.
“No. He doesn’t. But that doesn’t matter he’s a-“ Daichi interrupted you. “Of course he doesn’t. He’s a man. He gets to fuck whom ever he likes, whenever he likes. No, sweetheart, this doesn’t satisfy me.”
Was he angry? For you? Or for himself?
“You only say this because you want to fuck me. You said it yourself. I’m fuckable.”
“Maybe. But maybe it’s bold of you to assume that and I actually only feel empathy towards you.”
He again placed two fingers on your chin, making you look at him. He leaned in, until his mouth was right next to your ear. He whispered now. “But you’re right. I wanna fuck you. Wanna fuck you real good. Make you feel things you could only dream of feeling. Make you cum as many times as your body can handle. And then tomorrow I wanna take you on a real date. Spoil you rotten and treat you like you deserve. Wanna make you feel like a real woman. Not a little girl in a golden cage. Though I would like to cage you like this.”
He pressed against your body with his until you whimpered and had nowhere to hide. “Would you like that, sweetheart? Hm? You can tell me, no one can hear us. Your mother can’t hear you when you’re with me.”
Your breath sped up, your hands subconsciously grabbing Daichis shoulders, squeezing them. It was all too much. You felt so overwhelmed. “I don’t know. I don’t know what I want. That never mattered. I never mattered.”
Slowly he moved back, synchronously moving his hand from your chin to your cheek, wiping your tears away. You didn’t even realise that you were crying.
“‘M sorry. It’s just not that easy for me. I know you’re technically right. I just- I’ve been raised this way. I’ve learned I’ll go to hell any other way.”
You started crying even more and he wiped away every single tear, letting you cry in silence until there were no more tears and he kissed your forehead.
“I know, baby. I know.” The petnames made your heart flutter. You’ve never had someone call you anything other than your name. Except for your best friend, but that was different from this.
Speaking of. Daichis head turned from you to your friends, still sitting at the bar, flirting and occasionally making out.
“Tell me, do you think, she’ll go to hell?” His head turned back to you, frowning.
You frowned along with him. “What? No! Of course not. She’s such a kind hearted person with a warm soul who loves and cares for everyone around her. She’s just got different morals than I do. She’d never go to hell. She’s too good for that.”
Daichi smiled. Cute he thought. The way you were talking about her.
“But she’s done all those things. She’s had sex. She drinks. She’s drunk right now! She dresses revealing. Hm? She does all those things. Why don’t you?”
You sighed again, staring to become a headache. Shaking your head you leaned into him, putting your forehead on his chest. You’ve never been so close to a stranger, especially not a man. But there was something about him that made you feel safe. “I don’t know. I really don’t know.”
Daichi put his hand on the back of your head, slowly unpinning your hair and running his fingers through it. “It’s okay, sweetheart. I’ll stop talking about it now. I promise.”
-
For the rest of the night Daichi and you got back to talking about more meaningless stuff, laughed and got to know each other better.
You learned that he used to play volleyball in Highschool and that some of his former teammates are on the national team now and that he knows and meets most of the regularly, but he just continued it as a hobby and is now a policeman.
After the exhausting talk earlier, you decided, one drink would be fine. You needed it.
At first you wanted to go get a glass of wine at which Daichi just laughed. “You won’t get any wine in a place like this, sweetheart. But don’t worry, I know what to get you.”
He came back five minutes later with another beer for himself and a cocktail for you. Sex on the beach. The irony. You shook your head, laughing, but drinking it anyway.
One cocktail quickly turned into two and now you were feeling much better. A little lightheaded, but better.
After a few more hours your best friend and her company, Sugawara, finally decided to grace you with their presence. They were very drunk, but also very happy. Holding hands and giggling at each other. You smiled. It’a been a while since you’ve seen her like this.
“We’ve just realised- you’re our best friends! This guy is Sugawaras best friend and Y/N, you’re my besssst- friend! And you’ve met- and we have too!” Your best friend slurred, hiccuping several times.
Daichi laughed, patting Sugawara on the back. “Nice that you’ve come to realise that as well. Come on.” He took your hand. Your best friend gasped, but you glared at her, so she didn’t say anything. “Let’s get a cap, hm?”
The taxi driver drove to Sugawaras place first, your best friend leaving the car with him without ang explanation. As if they agreed on this long before they came back to you.
Daichi and you looked at each other, laughing at the absurdity of the situation. Until the taxi driver looked back at you. “Where to, next?”
The car suddenly got really quiet. “Come with me to my place. We won’t have to do anything except watch a movie and go to sleep. I was serious before. I wanna take you out tomorrow. And I wanna spend the night with you.” Daichi said.
You blushed. “Okay. I’ll come.”
-
Daichi opened the door to his apartment, carefully placing his hand on your back and leading you inside. You felt wobbly. The alcohol had just hit even more. So he made sure to steady you. “You okay?”
“Yea. I’m sorry. Just not used to more than a glass of wine.”
“That’s okay. I feel light headed too. Once we’re sleeping it’ll wear off. I’ll bring you water.”
While he was away, you got rid of your uncomfortable shoes. Staring at him moving in the kitchen. He was so tall and muscular. Fuck. You wanted him so bad.
So when he came back, you didn’t drink his water. Instead you set it aside and stepped closer to him. Until you were so close, you had to look up at him. As if out of instinct his hands landed on your waist.
“Daichi.” You whispered. Putting your hands on his shoulders. He didn’t say anything, instead he pulled you in even closer so that your chest touched his. “Daichi, please.”
“What is it, sweetheart? Tell me.” He squeezed your waist and you bit your lips.
“Please take me. I- I want you. Please.” You didn’t know where this sudden urge came from, just a few hours ago, you didn’t even so much as touch yourself and now you were begging a stranger to fuck you. but he stirred something inside you and it made you feel so good. So special.
“That’s the alcohol talking, Y/N. You will regret this in the morning.” Still he didn’t step back as if he wait for you to convince him. So you did.
“I might. But Daichi, you’ve been so understanding and kind. I- I don’t think I want to do this with anyone but you. You can lead me through this and if I regret it in the morning, I feel you’re the only man who wouldn’t take it personal and calm me down. Please. I want this. I want you. I- I want you to do all the stuff you said earlier. Make me feel like a real woman. Please.”
He grunted. He fucking grunted. “Shit okay, baby. I’ll do it. I’ll make you feel so desirable and so so good.”
And just like that he slammed his lips against yours. Quickly moving them. His tongue brushed against your lower lip, urging you to open your mouth. But you backed away. Never having kissed anyone like this, it was hard for you to keep up. “I don’t-“
“It’s okay, let me take the lead. Do what I do. I am not judging you. You’re doing so good. Were so brave begging me to fuck you, hm? Let me do it then, I’ll be careful. You’re okay?” You nodded. “No, talk to me, baby. I wanna hear you.”
“I- Yes. Yes, I’m okay. Please kiss me again.”
Daichi chuckled. “Such a good girl, fuck.”
And then he kissed you again. And again. And again. Until all you could think about was him and his hands that lifted you up and put you on the table right next to your glass of water.
His tongue forced its way in your mouth and circled yours. Your breath hitched when his hands opened all the buttons of your blouse and squeezed your breast. From there they wandered to the back and opened your bra as well.
“This okay?” He whispered, his breath fanning over your lips. You whimpered again. “Yes, please.” He moved back. First removing your blouse and then, very sensually, your bra. “You keep begging me, but you’re not telling me what you want me to do.”
He talked to you but he didn’t look you in the eyes. Instead he shamelessly stared at your breasts. It made you feel tingly and your thighs subconsciously pressed together. Resisting the urge to cover yourself and look away you said. “I want you to touch me. Please.”
One of his hands cupped your cheek, his thumb caressing your lips. The other one traced your body occasionally pinching one of your nipples while now staring you in the eyes. You tried to bite your lip to not make a sound, but you couldn’t because of his thumb so instead you whined.
“I am touching you, aren’t I? You need to be more specific, sweetheart. Where do you want me to touch you?”
“Everywhere.”
“Everywhere? Like- here?” His hand moved up to your collarbone. “Or here?” He brushed over your shoulder, over your arm, past your elbow and took your hand. “Or maybe” he removed his second hand from your mouth and took your free hand with it, harshly pressing both your hands on the surface of the table with his. “you want me to touch you with my mouth?”
He lowered himself a little bit, never breaking eye contact and then kissed right between your breasts. “You want that, sweetheart?”
You squirmed under his gaze. You would really like to grab his hair and just yank him where you needed him most. “Yes! Yes please, Daichi, you’re being mean!”
“You have no idea how mean I can actually be, princess.” And then he finally took one of your buds in his mouth. Sucking and biting at it ever so gently.
“Ohh God” you let your head fall back and closed your eyes, biting your lip and pushing your chest up in his face. “please, please, please. More. I need more.”
“God’s not here, baby. Just me. I am the one making you feel like this. You feel good?” He licked over your bud one last time and then switches sides. Doing what he did before.
You shuddered. “Yes. Yes I- I feel good. You’re making me feel so- good, Daichi. Please. I need more of y- you.” Your breath quickened, your thighs presses together and your head started to feel dizzy.
“You’re so good, Y/N. Pleading and begging me so nicely. You’re all desperate just from a little nipple play. You’re perfect.”
The way he said your name made you feel so much. Horny. Desired. Happy. Just everything.
And then suddenly it all stopped. He let go of your hands and of your breast and just looked at you. “You’re beautiful, you know that?”
His constant praise made you blush. “Thank you.”
“Such a good girl. Come on.” He took your hands again, this time more carefully, leading you of the table. “I’m not taking your virginity here. Let’s move this to my bed, hm?”
On the way to his bedroom, Daichi got rid of his shirt and jeans, leaving you too stunned to say anything. Everything about him was hot. You didn’t know where to look. And so far you only saw his backside.
When you wanted to do the same and get rid of your skirt, he somehow noticed and, without turning around, stopped you. “Don’t. I’ll be doing that myself.” Shit.
Finally in his room Daichi stopped before his bed and turned around. His chest was even better than his back. So pretty and muscular. But you didn’t dare to look further than that.
“Come here.” He said, so you did. Stepping closer to him only in your skirt and panties underneath. Chest open and bare, but he not once stopped looking right in your eyes. Not even when he started to slowly get on his knees.
That’s when it hit you. Suddenly you took a big step backwards. Away from him. Feeling embarrassed. Without saying anything Daichi came back up. He was obviously confused, but not really surprised. Probably only wondering what exactly made you reconsider. So he asked.
“What is it, sweetheart? You have to tell me otherwise I can’t help you.”
“I am not- I didn’t- shave. I never had a reason to do it so far. I sometimes trim in the summer but I- it’s been a while. I’m sorry. I don’t-“ you started rambling in a panic. And even though Daichi found it cute, he didn’t want you to panic. So he interrupted you.
“You think I care? Because I don’t. If you feel ashamed about it and want to stop than that’s okay and valid. But don’t think you have to because of me. I want to eat you out either way. If you let me.”
Your entire face heated up and you looked away. He was so straightforward about this stuff. “Okay.”
“Okay, what? Look at me when you say it, sweetheart. And be more specific.” So you did.
“Okay, we can keep going. I want to continue. Please.”
“Such a good and polite girl. You wanna keep going? You gonna let me eat that pussy, baby? You want that? Hm?”
“Yes. Please.”
Without saying another word he again got on his knees carefully peeling your skirt off. Leaving you in your bright blue panties. He chuckled. They almost looked like boxer shorts. “They’re more comfortable…” you muttered.
“Don’t apologise. I think it’s cute.”
He grabbed your thighs and slowly spread them apart, kissing their insides, sucking and leaving marks. And then finally, you moaned. Not whined. Not whimpered. Moaned.
“Fuck. You sound so good baby. You like it when I kiss you here? Down where no one can see? Mark you up just for you and me to know. Hm?”
One of your hands buried itself in his messy hair, the other found its place on his shoulder, squeezing. You didn’t dare look at him, so you closed your eyes, sighed and nodded. Subconsciously pressing your lower body in his face.
He let this one slide. You were clearly overwhelmed. So he just hooked his fingers in your panties and pulled them down to your feet. You cringed at the feeling of how sticky they were from your wetness.
Daichi cursed. “Fuck.” The carpet most definitely matched the drape and you weren’t lying, you didn’t shave or trim in some time, but he’d seen more bush before. He liked how your little clit still peaked through. God, he wanted to lick it so bad. But first he had to get you to bed.
Without a warning he lifted you up and practically threw you onto his bed. Crawling on top of you. And even though you tried not to stare and be polite, you still got a good look of his body when he did so. How was that supposed to fit inside of you?! And you so far only saw its outline.
Daichi kissed his way down your body. This time paying a lot less attention to your breasts and quickly getting where he wanted to be.
He spread your legs as wide as he can, finally getting a good look at your glistening cunt which was equally spread. “So fucking pretty. Shit.”
Then he flattened out his tongue and took a long swipe from your asshole to your clit. “Oh fuuuck! Daichi!” Your hand again found its way to his hair. Grabbing it, slightly tucking. The other one landed on your own head, covering your eyes.
You would’ve never imagined it to be so good.
And Daichi really had no mercy. Licking. Sucking. Even biting. His tongue switched up between circling your clit and fucking your hole.
Your moans and choked sounds were like music to his ears. They were addictive and he needed more. So he went harder, faster. More reckless. Your body squirmed, back arched and legs shaking. You needed more too. He could tell.
“Gonna fuck you with my fingers, yes, princess?”
“Yes! Ahh. Anything you want. Just do it. Please.”
At first his fingertips just brushed your hole. Teasing you and gathering your juice, spreading it all over your cunt. Everything was so messy.
Then he finally put one inside. Tauntingly slow. It was easy and painless, giving how wet you were at this point.
“Move!” You rolled your hips trying to get some friction. It felt as if you had lost all control over your body.
“Are you leading now? Are you giving me orders? That’s how it is now?” He teased, slowly starting to remove his finger.
“No! No, no, no. Please, I‘m sorry. I‘m sorry!“ you tried to follow his finger with your hips but Daichi stopped you with his free hand. “Behave, princess. Only then I‘ll give you what you want.“
Your hips automatically came to a halt. “‘M sorry.“
“It‘s okay, I know your just desperate.“ he finally got back to work, putting his finger in all the way, slowly moving it in and out and his tongue found your clit once again. You moaned and threw your head back, pressing it into the pillow beneath you. He felt you harshly tuck at his hair, trying to yank his head closer which made him moan as well.
The vibrations of his moaning went through your entire body and you looked down at him, meeting his stare. The intensity of it it and the way it didn‘t falter made you whimper. That‘s when you saw it. He was grinding his hips against the mattress. “Daichi-“
His head lifted and you could see your wetness being spread all around his mouth. Your face heated up and you looked away. Daichi chuckled at that and wiped his face with his free hand. “What is it? What do you need, baby?“
“Need you- need you to fuck me.“ Your breath hitched when his finger stopped. “You‘re not ready yet, sweetheart. Need to prep you more.“
“No. I can take it, I promise. Please, I need you.“ You pulled him up so he was face to face with you and placed both your hands on his cheeks. “Please? I promise, I‘ll tell you if I feel any discomfort.“
He sighed and nodded. He just couldn’t deny you. That‘s when your hands went down to his underwear and started to remove it. “You gotta tell me or I‘ll punish you, you hear me?“
Your hands came to a halt and your breath hitched, but you nodded. “Good girl.“
Without looking down you took him in your hand. It felt weird. Heavy and big, with a slight curve and a big vein on the side. You wondered how it would feel inside you without a barrier but you wouldn’t dare risk that. Daichi neither. He groaned at the feeling of you subconsciously stroking him. “There‘re condoms in the upper drawer. Take one of them.“ So you opened the drawer and mindlessly took the first on out you could get a hold of.
You wanted to give it to him but he stopped you. “That one has taste, princess. We don‘t need that today.“
You gulped. You wanted to. But you were to shy and horny to voice your needs. So you just put it back and took a different one, this time taking a look in the drawer, so you wouldn‘t make the same mistake again and gave it to him. “Very good. You‘re being so good for me.“
All this praise made you feel sp light headed and proud. Growing up you‘d never received much of it since your mother was so strict with you. “Thank you.“
He smiled and stroked your cheek and hair before putting on the condom. You watched him, blushing at the immense size. “This will be a little painful at first because you didn‘t let me prep you properly. I‘ll go slow and careful but I need you to tell me if it‘s too much, do you understand?“
“Yes. I understand.“
“Good girl. Are you comfortable?“ You nodded but quickly muttered a quiet yes when you saw his disapproving face. He took your hands in his and pressed them onto the mattress, kissing you.
You soon melted and relaxed in the kiss which was much slower and more sensual than the one on the table. Not breaking the kiss Daichi lined himself up at your entrance and started to gently force his way inside you. You winced, accidentally biting his lip which only made him moan.
He was right, it was painful. But it wasn‘t unpleasant, just weird. He urged himself further and you started to feel really full, but when you broke the kiss and looked down, you realised that he was only half wat inside you. “Oh.“
“Want me to stop? I will.“ he said through gritted teeth and a clenched jaw. It was clear to you how much he had to hold back. “No, it’s okay. Please keep going“
He nodded and moaned when he continued. “You‘re so fucking tight, shit.“ The way you made him feel good, made you feel so good as well and despite the pain you moaned along with him. You wanted him to feel good.
He stopped once he was all inside you. His head fell on your shoulder and he breathed heavily. “You good, baby?“
You brushed through his hair. He was probably like this because you couldn’t stop gushing and clenching around him. “I‘m good just- give me a second please.“ you whined. “Of course. Take all the time you need.“
It took you a good while to adjust but Daichi waited patiently. To distract himself he started kissing you everywhere. On your lips, your ear, your forehead and then your neck where he even star to bite und suck, probably leaving marks you had to cover in the morning.
To distract you, his hand wandered south and circled your clit, trying to relax you. It worked. You whimpered and whined and quickly after you began to unclench and roll your hips against his hand, grinding on his dick and moaning. “You can move now.”
Daichi lifted his head and looked at you in awe. Your eyes were closed, but no squeezed shut, your mouth was just slightly opened and your nose scrunched, he doubted you even realized.
You were so breathtakingly beautiful and you were lying in his bed, naked and needy. And you were giving yourself to him, a complete stranger and he felt so lucky.
His train of thoughts were interrupted by an impatient groan and your hips rolling against him. He gasped. Today was not the day to keep such a beauty waiting for her pleasure, so he gently grabbed your hips and started to pull out and repeatedly thrust into your wet walls.
First really slow and gentle. Until your legs wrapped around his waist, trying to pull him closer. His Name left your lips like a chant, begging him to go faster. Harder.
“Daichi- please. Need it. Hngg- more more more.”
So he did. His hips started to rhythmically snap forward, trying to find that special spot and when he did, your loud moan was like music to his ears. He sped up his pace, keeping the hard force behind every thrust.
To keep you in place his hands started to grip you harder and he was sure there would be marks in the morning. But none of this seemed to bother you. Quite the opposite. You seemed to like it a little harder. Noted.
Your back arched from his bed and your hands gripped the mattress so hard, your knuckles lost color. All the while letting out the most desperate little moans.
They weren’t too loud or pornographic and he wanted to drown in you. You were so perfect and real. Not holding back but also not forcing anything to boost his ego. You were just enjoying yourself.
His head lowered again and he one of your sensitive nipple in his mouth again. This time a little harder. Harshly sucking and biting until you fisted his hair with your hands and tears rolled down your cheeks.
Only then did he remove himself and lick one last time so soothe the pain, just to switch sides and repeat his actions. You threw your head from one side to the other from time to time, tucking and pushing his. Your eyes screwed shut once again.
But he never faltered and when he could suddenly feel your legs start to shake and tighten around his hips, he knew you were about to finish. His lips removed themselves from your breast and instead he kissed you. Rough and harsh. Biting your lips and forcing his tongue down your throat.
His sudden aggressiveness startled but didn’t scare you. But you were also so overwhelmed with everything and when his hand wandered from your hip to your clit and rubbed it hard and fast with his fingers, you completely lost it.
Your mouth opened up, which left Daichi heavily breathing in your mouth, formed to a silent scream and all that came out of you were pathetic fast breaths.
Your glossy eyes were blown wide and looked at him with so much emotion, he almost came on the spot. But when they teared up even more and rolled back and you started to buck up into him because of the overstimulation, he bit on your lip and decided to hold back.
Instead he fucked you through it. His hips and fingers keeping a steady pace until you whimpered and tried to push him away.
“No more. No more.” You desperately pleaded.
So he pulled out, removed the condom and took matters into his own hand. Literally.
You curiously watched him jerk his hand and blushed. Was it weird that you wanted to do it for him? Touch him like he touched you and return the favor?
But instead of doin that you just opted with letting your hands wander on his back and to his biceps. Kissing his cheek and gathering your confidence to bite his ear and suck a mark below it. All the while pinching one of his nipples with shaky fingers.
Daichi moaned and went even faster. “Shit, baby. Don’t start something you can’t finish.”
Then he kissed your cheek and spilled his seed all over your stomach. Which oddly enough turned you on even more and made you whine.
You stayed like this for a minute or two and just looked each other in the eyes, breathing heavily. Until Daichi rolled of you two the side and you were both left staring at the ceiling.
He was the first to turn on his side, staring at you worried. With his clean hand he brushed your hair out of your face and made you look at him as well. “You okay, sweetheart?”
You blinked a few times, furrowing your brows. “I don’t know. I enjoyed it really much. I just feel- weird? Is that offensive to you?”
“Not at all. Come here.” He pulled you in, kissing your temple and holding you tight to his chest. None of you cared about his sticky hand or your dirty stomach.
His clean hand comped through your hair and he whispered sweet nothings right into your ear. Praising and complimenting you.
-
Later the two of you got out of bed, or more Daichi dragged your complaining figure and threw it over his shoulder. “You need to pee, Y/N. I mean it. And then we’ll have to shower or take a bath.”
You just groaned. Luckily he couldn’t see the embarrassment on your face from having your ass almost entirely in his face. “I don’t even feel the need to pee!”
“Then you will drink water and force yourself to do it still. Don’t make me punish you, baby. You’re not ready for that.”
His continues hints on being rougher and more dominant with you, made you blush and even horny, so that you had to resist the need to kick your feet and giggle like a schoolgirl.
You didn’t even notice how you clenched your thighs together, which made only made Daichi smirk. He would definitely go harder on you next time. Besides, he promised you to make you cum as many times as your body could handle and he was not one to break a promise.
PLEASE this was so much fun to write!! I hope you had just as much fun reading it! Let me know what you think since this is my first time publishing anything I’ve written and if you would like me to turn this into a series, let me know please!! I am seriously considering doing it.

Dating Rhiannon Lewis HC's
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: Rhiannon Lewis x reader note: she's my pathetic, desperate, clingy gf so get your own.
Throws out an ily on the third date and tries so pathetically hard to play it off. “I love youR SHIRT. It's such a nice shirt.” Before running off to the bathroom to hide. She's so smooth. Pacing back and forth in front of the mirror for ten minutes before she manages to gather enough courage to come back to you and pretend nothing happened.
Keeps score of who’s texting who first and how often. It doesn’t stop her from still texting first, though.
Cannot ever get her hands out of your hair. She's so fucking gentle about it, caressing your hair and gently scratching at your scalp with her nails. Won't go near your hair on her bad days. Running her fingers along the back of your neck instead of your scalp. Fingers flexing like she wants to touch it but won't. Just doesn't trust herself not to hurt you.
Always makes the house so fucking cold when you sleep over so you're forced to cuddle with her for warmth. Her ass is running around the whole house opening windows and creating drafts in the twenty minutes she has in between your text and when you arrive. Oh, also, all the blankets are in the wash but hers. So sad, guess you'll just have to share. Mysteriously, all of your long-sleeve shirts have disappeared too. Weird.
Makes you do those stupid couple quizzes in magazines.
Rhiannon “We have food at home” Lewis. Once the initial excitement about having people to go out with dies down, she comes to an important realization: the more the two of you are out, the more you're exposed to dating options that aren't her. That's just not allowed. Doing anything and everything she can to keep you at home short of telling you to get your ass back inside.
God forbid you try to go out somewhere without her. Why would you need to go see your friends while she's stuck late at work? Who's going to walk with her to the bus station? She starts asking so many questions about it, sounding so hurt that you eventually cave and don’t go. It’s not blatant manipulation, not when it’s you, but it’s usually enough to have you rethinking the whole thing anyway.
So jealous, but won’t directly say anything about it. Just starts holding onto your hand tightly with this strained look on her face.
She always misplaces your things when you're going out, or just if it suits her better. Your car keys? She hasn't seen them. The shirt you were going to wear that she doesn't much care for? You probably lost it. Here, she found her personal favorite of your shirts, though. You’ll find the other shirt mysteriously hung back up neatly in your closet the next day, like nothing ever happened.
Rhiannon wearing your shirts when she knows you're looking for them to entice you to stay home. Laying back on the bed, pouting up at you. Long sleeves that her hands just barely peek out of. “What, are you looking for this?” Making you give her a kiss if you want your shirt back to go to work. Maybe even two if she’s feeling greedy.
Tries to fix all your problems for you the second you mention them to her.
So incredibly clingy. If you're with her, you're with her. Sitting on the counter, talking to you while you cook or while you take a shower. You step out, and she's holding the towel out for you. Makes a show of breathing hot hair on it and pretends she was keeping it warm for you. You wake up every time with all four of her limbs wrapped around you, no matter how the two of you actually fell asleep.
She texts you about the weather all the time just as an excuse to talk to you.
So incredibly sensitive. Bottom lip trembling and tearing up because you said you weren't sure if you'd be able to make drinks with her coworkers tonight. Her ass trying to play it cool all like, “That's fine 🥺.“
Detailed plans for any outing she takes you on.
She plays those like little girlfriend games all the time. The like, "Would you love me if I was x, if I did y, if z happened?” Just hours and hours of it. It starts off so innocent and teasing, but it ends up getting really serious and real specific. “Would you still love me if I, like, killed someone? Accidentally. Hypothetically, of course.”
Gets really drunk one night and starts trying to get a concrete list of breakupable offenses. Pulls out this like color-coded Excel file of info with terms and conditions and shit. She takes this girlfriend stuff seriously, bro. Debating the details of it like she’s making a contract.
Stalks your socials all the time.
I just know Rhiannon pulls those like "ten tricks to keep a man" shit they have in those magazines on you. Goes down it in a list deciding what you react the best to. Tries maintaining eye contact for a freaky long time until you finally call her out on it. Insists that it’s not what she’s doing, but you realize she’s hidden all her magazines from you the next day.
Double, triple, quadruple texter. You better not fall asleep on her, or her ass will be knocking on the door within a few hours.
She likes to surprise you with dates, but she’s so horrifically bad at it. She gets nervous and ends up asking you a billion different questions about things you like, that by the time you get to the date you’ve basically already planned it all for yourself anyway. Rhiannon looks so proud of herself that you can’t bear to say anything about it.
You catch sight of her search history over her shoulder one night, and it’s like twenty variations of “What to do on a date.” / “What to say on a date.” / “Where to go to dinner in…”

TF141 Meeting Soap’s Little Sister (a.k.a. You)
Tumblr media
CoD ML
The task force didn’t know what to expect, but it certainly wasn’t this. They already have to deal with Soap’s husky antics, which can already be too much to handle. Multiply that by two and no one, especially Simon, wants to deal with that.
But they certainly wouldn’t mind the company of the woman in the doorway.
Why on earth didn’t Soap warn them?
For John, it’s the sweater paws. For a second they make him selfishly want to dress you in one of his sweaters.
For Simon, it’s the way you shyly hide behind your brother, a habit you still have at your big age. Normally he loathes shows of fragility, but yours is endearing to him. For the first time in a very long while, it kindles something in him.
For Kyle, it’s your eyes. He simply can’t look away even though he’s aware it makes you uncomfortable.
“Lads, meet my sister, Y/N.” The adoration Soap has for you is plain to see in the gentle smile that plays out on his lips, proud to be your brother and amused you’ve barely changed from your younger days. Why else would you look at him, lowkey terrified of the strangers he’s brought into your home. “It’s awright, hen. They’re good men, even the big bawbag with the skull mask. Go oan an’ introduce yerself.”
Clutching your brother’s sleeve, relieved he’s home and glad for his protection, you introduce yourself. “Hi, I’m Y/N.”
And in that moment, without so much as trying, you have your brother’s unit wrapped around your finger.
So much so that Simon removes his balaclava before he even crosses the threshold. Unbeknownst to you, it’s extremely rare to see the man without his mask and always leads to the unit members exchanging surprised glances.
“What’s this, LT?” your brother asks, badly faking disbelief.
“Proper etiquette. Plus, I can’t eat with the thing on.”
“Oh, so you do eat. I thought ghosts didn’t have ta.”
“Johnny…”
“Just messing with ye, Ghost.”
“Ghost?” you ask.
“It’s my callsign, miss. I- I mean, Y/N.” He keeps his distance, but tries to make himself as small as possible to seem less intimidating. “We ain’t on duty now, so’s just Simon.”
“I see.”
Throughout the night, your brother’s comrades try to win your favour. Kyle offers to help set the table, teaming up with John who beats him to it by lifting the stack of plates in your hands. “Can’t have the lady of the house do everything, can we?”
“But-“
“Please, Y/N, allow me.” His features soften, though there’s a strange glint in his eyes you can’t name. Nevertheless, it sharpens further into sterness as John turns around and starts speaking like you’d imagine he does out in the field. “Gaz, get over here. We have to help our hostess out.”
“You… you really don’t…”
“It’s the least we can do,” Kyle reassures you, shown up at your side at the first word of the captain. “We’ll try to do it neatly.”
“Oi, Gaz, stop being cheeky and get moving.”
“Yes, sir.” Kyle sighs. “He makes it sound like we’re on a battlefield. Fortunately, this is less severe, innit?”
“It might be if there aren’t glasses between now and ten seconds,” John mutters, circling around you two to put the last plates down and move on to cutlery.
“Ever the perfectionist. Where do you keep them?” Kyle asks.
You point at a cupboard. “Right there.”
“Okay. Y/N, we’ll do a proper job. Promise.” And with that, he’s off to help set the table.
While cooking, you observe Simon dawdling around the kitchen. Or, rather, as you discover when you lift your head to check what’s going on, he’s forced to thanks to Johnny.
“Och, just offer yer help. Ah dinnae ken, chop some veggies. Also, she’s into video games- Y/N!” Johnny slaps Simon on the shoulder, feigning ignorance. “Can this wee bawbag help ye with anything?”
“Stop calling me that,” Simon grumbles through gritted teeth.
“Do you cook?”
“He-“ Soap opens his mouth to answer for his friend yet finds himself cut short.
“Haud yer wheest, John. I was nae asking you, I was asking Simon.” Holding out your spatula as a threat to your brother, you turn to the gentle giant.
Simon looks at you through his lashes, but quickly averts his gaze when your eyes meet. “I dabble. Try to put proper grub on the table sometimes.”
“Help me do the same?”
“Uh… sure.”
“Lovely!”
“Have fun, LT.” Johnny offers you both a cheeky grin, then turns on his heel to return to the others.
And so Simon finds himself cooking alongside you. Truth be told, you partially did it to save him from his brothers in arms. Regardless of how well he knows them and the amount of time he’s spent with them, their extroverted personalities still wear him out. His silence is telling, different from the intimidating version he dropped the moment you opened the door. You’ve seen how his eyes glaze over, occupied with dreams you can only guess at. Occasionally he’ll nod and make a noise to make the others think he’s listening.
Nevertheless, it’s still surprising Simon tries to start a conversation.
A conversation that goes in all sorts of, mostly nerdy, directions. So soon you find yourself listening to elaborate explanations of the lore of various FromSoftware games, a topic Simon passionately enlightens you on.
He stops mid-sentence when you chuckle. “What?”
“You have a nice voice.”
“Oh… uh… thanks.”
“Jesus, Y/N, you’re some kind of miracle worker.” Gaz walks into the kitchen to grab another beer from the fridge. “How’d you get Ghost to talk?”
Simon glowers at his companion, but stands down when you gesture for him to remain calm. “Sometimes you simply need the right person, a genuine heart that listens. Now, boys, let’s eat.”
“Food?” Johnny calls from the couch.
“My days, what are ye? A husky?” you call, only partially truly annoyed.
Dinner is an amiable affair. The men (yes, even Soap) censor themselves, finding it inappropriate to start effin and blindin in your company. All the same, they include you in the conversation however possible and fall silent when they notice you want to chime in. Unbeknownst to you all, Johnny is especially vigilant none of the other men makes an advance towards you. Sure, you’re a grown woman. Nonetheless, to him, you’ll always be the wee bairn he held as a four-year-old boy, the barely grown girl who couldn’t stop crying when he was deployed for the first time.
You’re his little sister, the only girl he’d gift the moon if he could.
That being said, though, should you end up with any member of the unit, he dearly hopes it’s Simon. So it’s actually quite reassuring for him to see you two get along as well as you do.
“Two peas in a pod,” Soap mumbles, the words muffled by beer and the clinking of cutlery.
The lads gesture for you to remain seated while they clear the table and do the dishes.
“‘S alright, Y/N. Leave it to us,” John says when you try to get up from your chair.
“You really don’t-“
“No, no. Please.” The bear-like hand on your shoulder is gentle though strong, persuasive in its conviction for you to remain seated. “A small favour, really, to repay your kindness.”
The table cleared, John and Simon excuse themselves for a quick smoke. In the meanwhile, Johnny and Kyle wash the dishes.
For dessert, you sit the men down with coffee and tea to enjoy with a scone.
Kyle falls a little more for you when you show you’re full of contrasts. Shy on the surface yet so fierce when defying your brother. “I was doing fine, crocheting my time away without puppy antics.”
“I’m nae like a dog.” Your brother stops mid-bite to protest.
“Johnny, yer a bloody husky.”
“Well, at least I’m one that did nae get shot.”
“Oh, haud yer wheesht, like you ever will. Just enjoy yer scone and tea. Wait!” You hasten to the fridge to retrieve a jar of orange marmelade. “Here, have this.”
“Homemade?”
“‘Course. It’s not like I’ve forgotten how you dislike store bought.”
“Thanks, sis.”
“Thank you for coming back in one piece, bro.” You turn to the men, who all sit up, alert. “And thank you for bringing my brother home.”
John has to restrain himself and not give into the urge to plop you in his lap. To make sure he won’t, he tucks his hands between his legs when you brush past him to retake your seat across the table.
Simon is good at hiding his emotions, but definitely wouldn’t mind it if you leaned on him and talked some more about video gaming. He loves the way your whole expression brightens when you do and would like nothing better than for you to be his player number two.
Stories and small talk, with the occasional silence to appreciate being alive and well, fills the kitchen as the arms of the clock creep closer to midnight.
At some point you stifle a yawn. Unfortunately, not before your brother catches you doing so. Johnny looks at the clock then back at you. “Alright, lads, it’s been great. However, despite her stubborn arse refusing to admit it, Y/N’s getting tired. Now being the great big brother I am,” the harsh slap on the upper arm does little to make him pipe down, “I think it’s time I show all of you the door.”
John, Kyle, and Simon get up without so much as a word of protest. After all, it’s bad etiquette to wear your hostess out nor does it help your chances with her.
You expected only a handshake as a farewell. Nevertheless, it’s hard to refuse the open invitation for a hug John gives you. His embrace is warm and gentle, testing out the waters to see what you will and won’t allow. His chest rises and falls with a satisfied sigh when you let him rest his head on top of yours. To be honest, it’s nice and comforting, the way he rubs some heat into your arms. “Goodnight, love. Thank you for the splendid evening.”
Kyle’s hug is more casual, like you’re a dear friend he’ll see again in the short run.
“Can I get a hug from you too?” you ask the man standing by the door, who has his hands tucked into the pockets of his jeans. For a moment Simon seems about to step forward. Yet, for whatever reason, he remains where he stands.
“I don’t think-“
“Please?”
How can he say no now? His mind short-circuits when you wrap your arms around his waist. His hands hover in the air for a moment before he places them lightly on your shoulders. “Thanks for tonight, Y/N.”
“Had fun?”
“I did.”
“Glad to hear it. Also,” you lean back to look at him, “keep the mask off. You’re not a lieutenant here, not Ghost.”
An amused hum escapes Simon, though later in the car he’d have to keep denying Kyle’s allegations he saw him smile. “Copy.”
“Go oan, I won’t keep you any longer.”
“Y/N?”
“Hm?”
“Goodnight.”
“Goodnight, Simon.”
You watch the men clamber into John’s car. They’re all staying the night at his place before heading off home.
“You like him, don’t ye?”
“Who?”
“Ghost.”
“I don’t know him.” Johnny gives you a quizzical look. “Simon, though, perhaps. He’s a good man.”
“He is.”
The only man who has his blessing to court you.
Who he hopes will truly be family one day.
His future brother-in-law.

Y/N’s POV
After patching things up with Matt, me and Chris decided to hard launch our relationship. It’s been two months since we went public, and the fans just seem to get more upset about it every day. Yesterday was our ten month anniversary, and the comments on our posts were horrific.
@ sturniolo.police
Do y’all think he just stays so she doesn’t kill herself?
@ Chris-Sturn-girlie
@ Sturniolo.police Probably, she treats her body like a kitchen counter… I would be scared too. I bet that’s the only reason why he even asked her out lol.
It was like watching a car accident, I couldn’t stop scrolling. I knew that it was stupid for me to think that dress was a good idea, but Chris picked it out specifically. The dress was a tight long sleeved crème dress. The issue was that it was fairly short, showing a large portion of my upper thighs. It was the first time since eighth grade that I felt comfortable wearing anything shorter than knee length, and less than 24 hours later I was severely regretting my decision.
“”“”“”“”“”
Now I stand in front of our mirror wondering if I should even go out with them tonight. The boys have a really important colab dinner, and I would hate for it to be ruined by people who don’t know how to be kind on the internet.
I look at myself and see someone I hate. The black short sleeve dress accentuates the jagged scars running across my wrists. I always tried to avoid spots that were hard to hide, but in that moment of desperation I couldn’t seem to stop myself. I’m so caught up in my thoughts, that I don’t even hear the door open.
“Is everything okay?” I look up to see Chris behind me, with his arms wrapped around my waist.
“I um… I don’t think I’m feeling up to going tonight… sorry.” He rests his head on my shoulder gently as he gives me a questioning glance. “I don’t want to ruin dinner, and everyone is already saying stuff about the scars on my legs… and if people find out I tried t-” I cut myself off before I could say the truth.
Chris turns me around quickly, looking deep into my eyes. “I don't give a shit what anyone else has to say, you are perfect for me… just as you are.” I try to protest, but he stops me before I can even get one word out. “But… if you don’t feel like going out tonight, that’s okay. I can tell my brothers to just go without us.”
I can feel my eyes burning, not from sadness or guilt, but from the realization that the man in front of me doesn’t care about anything but me. “You don’t have to miss it because of me, don’t feel like you have to stay home.”
In less than three seconds he’s putting his phone into his pocket. “Don’t be silly, I already texted the guys.” I hear the guys yell a quick goodbye and feel better from downstairs before the door closes and the car drives off. “Now… do you need any help getting out of that dress?” He gives me a quick kiss before turning me around so he can reach my zipper.
As soon as the zipper stops, my dress falls to a puddle on the floor. When I turn around I notice Chris’s eyes fall to the matching green butterfly set I have on.
When Chris finally meets my eyes again, his cheeks are a shade of red that I’ve never seen on him. “Like what you see, pretty boy?” Chris is a sputtering mess, trying to respond. I cut him off by quickly connecting my lips with his. His hands quickly find their way into my hair as he lifts me up by the backs of my legs, carrying me to our shared bed.
This wasn’t the first time me and Chris had ever made out, but something was different about this time. There was a hunger in each of us, that kissing couldn’t satiate.
Chris tossed me gently onto the bed before positioning himself above me and continuing our make out session. His lips slowly traveled down my neck, stopping for short moments, then continuing their assault until they landed on my collar bone. A moan left my mouth, much louder than I meant to, as my back arched off the bed.
“You like that baby?” Chris groaned into my ear.
“mhm…” My brain went blank as he made his way down to the valley of my breasts. “Please…”
“please what, ma?” He looks up to me with a mischievous grin.
“Touch me… please.” I practically whine out, upset that he stopped kissing me. Chris quickly taps my side, signaling me to lift up as he unclasps my bra in one swift movement. My bra is replaced with Chris’s hands before I even register that he removed it. He continues to leave wine colored marks across my breasts, while his hands squeeze in the most beautiful ways.
After what feels like an eternity, i feel Chris's hot breath moving down towards my waistline. He glances up at me quickly before turning his head toward my inner thigh. I feel him lift my leg up, over his shoulder, before he resumes his mission. "Did you know that your legs are my favorite part of your body?"
“no they aren’t.” I accuse with a small giggle. I never realized how ticklish my legs are. He quickly sucks on a spot, that will surely be a dark shade of red tomorrow morning, causing my brain to malfunction.
When he stops, I look down to see him looking at me with his big, blue, puppy dog eyes. He toys with my waistline, before finally opening his mouth. “Is this okay?”
I've never responded quicker, nodding my head aggressively while mumbling out a quick please and thank you. It takes him no time to get my panties off, and onto the floor. “You’re sure? I don’t want you to feel pressured or anything.”
“yes… just please touch me!” I’m practically begging when he decides to indulge me.
I wasn’t sure what to expect, seeing as I’ve never even ‘helped myself’. Whatever I expected, this was much better. The second he latched his lips onto my clit, I was seeing stars. My whole body felt warm and tingly, and I think I’m close. I quickly intertwine my fingers into Chris’s hair, pulling with the rhythm of his tongue. All of the sudden I feel a long thin finger entering, and I can’t stop the sudden sensation that was building inside me. I couldn’t even get out a full sentence without a loud, almost pornographic moan interrupting me. The second I feel a second finger, I loose all control over my body. My back arches off the bed, as my legs slam shut around Chris’s head. Once I manage to calm myself down, Chris slowly removes his fingers from inside of me.
“Having fun?” I see him wiping his hand against his pant leg, his lips still glistening with me. I don’t think I have the strength to speak, so I simply nod. “Was it… was that okay?” I can see the yearning for approval in his eyes. “… Like, was it good for you?”
I don’t really know how to respond to that question, my brain is stiff fuzzy from my orgasm. “It was amazing baby…” I don’t want this moment to end. “I want to… can we do more… If that’s okay?”
I swear Chris has the condom out in less than three seconds. “Are you sure?” He’s looking at me like he truly doesn’t care what’s in it for him. “We can stop… or do other things, you don’t have to do anything that makes you uncomfortable.”
I do my best to find his eyes in my dazed state. “I’m sure… if it’s anything like what you just did, I’m not sure I ever want you to stop.” He nods quickly before getting up and stripping.
The second his waistband hits mid thigh, his member is hitting his stomach. It looks painful, so red and hard. I don’t know how it’s going to fit, but I trust him. He slides the condom on, quickly climbing back on top of me.
“Are you sure the at you want this?” This again. “We can stop whenever you want to… and you really don’t have to do any-”
I cut him off quickly by grabbing ahold of him and making sure that he knows that my motives are purely selfish at this point in time. He finally gets the hint and lines himself up.
“fu-ck…” Chris practically whimpers as he pushes into me. I unintentionally clench around him, who knew that a man whimpering was so sexy?
“Babe… you gotta stop squeezing me like that, I won’t last.” I mutter a quick apology, before giving him the go ahead to start moving.
It’s an interesting feeling. It’s not necessarily painful or uncomfortable, just different. It doesn’t take long for the feeling to melt into pleasure though.
The house is filled with sounds of whimpering and moaning, as we reach our highs. Chris reaches down and starts rubbing heavenly circles against my already overstimulated clit, causing my orgasm to crash into me without warning. I swear my vision goes out for a minute while Chris chases his own high.
Chris slowly pulls out, making me cry out in pleasure. “I’m sorry, but I have to get you cleaned up. I’ll be right back.”
The second he leaves it hits me all at once. What if it wasn’t good for him? What if he realizes that he only wanted me for sex, and decides the rest isn’t worth it? What if he-
“Are you okay?” He pulls me from my doom spiral, as he starts cleaning me up. He crawls into the bed next to me, looking deep into my eyes.
“Sorry… my brain is just trying to convince me that you’re going to leave.” I see his eyes soften, as he realizes what I’m saying. “It’s not necessarily like I believe it, I just worry sometime that all of my flaws outweigh the things keeping you here… like what if you leave, or you only stay because you feel like I’ll kill myself if you don’t?” Chris stares at me, looking like he doesn’t fully grasp the concept. “Does that make sense? I feel like I’m going crazy sometimes.”
“Do you really think that I would do that?” The way he asks it makes my heart break.
It’s not like I really think that he would do something like that, but my brain just refuses to let me be happy. “No baby… I just find it so hard to trust anyone who says they care.”
Chris just pulls me into his arms, promising me that he loves me more than words could describe. After a few minutes in his arms we decide to put some clothes on and order some food. After dinner, I drift slowly into a peaceful sleep in his arms.

Protective of One Another
Daryl Dixon • She/Her Pronouns • The Saviors war ended, and everyone has been doing their part to rebuild the communities. A project being the bridge. You have been assigned to watch those building the bridge and help where you can. You just didn’t expect to end up in the infirmary • ANGST/SFW • TW: Injuries / Anxiety / PTSD
Requested by: Anon
Tumblr media
“Hey, you coming to work on the bridge?” Aaron asks Daryl who was preoccupied with sharpening his knife.
“Nah. Why?”
“Eh just thought I’d ask…” Aaron started to walk away from the tent the archer was currently occupying. “Y/N will be there”
Aaron now with a satisfied smile on his face worked beside Daryl who was hammering away at a panel they just placed while Y/N walked past them every now and then.
“Bitch”
“Hey it got you to work today. At least I didn’t lie”
“Mm. Fair” Daryl scoffs looking up for a moment seeing Y/N talking to Rick about the progression of the bridge they were working on.
________
“You sure can hold your own”
Y/N turns toward Daryl after setting another Walker on the pile with T-Dog’s help.
“Yeah…okay” Y/N brushes her hands off on her blue camo pants seeing that he was still standing there. “Yea need somethin’ Daryl?”
“How come you know my name but I don’t know yours?”
“First, it’s Y/N. Second, you’re not a very social person. Or you weren’t until that Grimes guy came and told yea he ditched your brother on a roof”
“Mm. Fair I guess” Daryl frowns watching Y/N step over one of the dead’s legs and extending her hand out to him.
“It is nice to finally meet you though”
“What’s with the blue camo?” He asks while shaking her hand as she laughs slightly.
“Navy. Blue is for the navy. I had just gotten home from discharge when the outbreak happened”
“Then I guess you weren’t part of the dumbasses that kept the virus under wraps until it started killin’”
“Oh I would’ve deserted and told the whole world if it meant this outbreak not happening”
“Wouldn’t have met yea though”
“Already liking me, D?” Y/N teased before going to help T-Dog with the rest leaving Daryl a bit of a blushing mess.
________
“You’re crazy yknow”
Daryl turns to the beautiful voice that matches the woman he’s been pining for for years as Y/N held up a canteen.
“Crazy for what?”
“Wearing all black in Virginia air. Or at least all dark clothes” Y/N gestured to his outfit before crossing her arms and still having that gorgeous smile remain. “What am I gonna do with yea, Dixon?”
“Beat my ass if I pass out from heat stroke” Daryl jokes getting that laugh of hers to roar out of her. “You’ll never see me in shorts”
“I would pay good money to see that one day” Y/N laughs a little more. “Shorts are great” she gestured to her own dark blue denim shorts as it wasn’t the only thing Daryl looked at. She was wearing a black tank top and red flannel over it with the sleeves rolled up, very different from her old Navy camo pants and the long sleeve when they first met up until the farm. But she always had the signature combat boots, something from her past that she won’t get rid of.
“On others maybe” He makes one last comment on the shorts listening to her laugh die down a bit before patting him on the shoulder.
“Least you can do is go inside one of the tents in the shady forest to cool a bit with that canteen.”
“Yea ain’t the boss of me, woman” He smirks watching her glare playfully.
“Last I checked. I was assigned to oversee those working on the bridge today…so the least you can do…is follow my orders” Y/N smirks getting up in his space as the archer covers his ears to avoid the blush rising.
“Yes ma’am” Daryl states watching her go back to working.
As he made his way back to the little tent city they have up for those working on the bridge, Carol immediately got up from her tent with a smile on her face.
“Hey buddy”
“Buddy?” Daryl scoffs to the nickname.
“What? You want me to go back to pookie?” She smiles deviously listening to him groan. “Anyway, I saw yea chattin’ it up with Y/N. Did you finally ask her yet?”
“Ask her what?”
“Oh come on!” Carol shoved him playfully as Daryl almost pushed her back but decided against it and sat on one of the outdoor chairs she has set up. “You know exactly what I mean Dixon” she took the other empty seat listening to the man groan even more. “She’s a catch. If you’re not going to say anything, someone else is gonna swoop in”
I don’t even want to think about that Daryl rolls his eyes turning his attention to the bridge. “The fuck am I supposed to say that I should’ve said years ago?”
________
“You’ve seen Y/N?”
“Oh my god. Are you actually going to finally do it, Dixon?” Carol teases handing him a bowl of breakfast which was whatever meat the archer hunted for that morning.
“Shut up” Daryl grumbles taking his bowl and going to sit with Rick at the table he was at with Judith in his arms.
“Waiting for Y/N?” Rick smirks watching Daryl glare as he was about to get up and leave. “Woah Woah. I surrender…sorry man. Just never seen someone so close to our navy officer and well. Connecting the dots here…”
“How’d yea tell Lori yea liked her?”
“Geez. You have no experience just from that question alone”
“Rick—-“
“Right right. Well. I kind of just went up to her asked if we could talk somewhere more private and then told her how I felt” Rick shrugs, it wasn’t exactly rocket science. “Then one thing lead to another”
Daryl hums in response to such as he watches the gates open showing Michonne returning on the horse they found and Y/N walking beside. They have been going on runs together that would last days or weeks and the archer would be stuck sticking around hoping to run into Y/N just for a second.
“You wanna tell her. Just tell her” Rick smiles picking up Judith and heading inside leaving Daryl to sit there watching Y/N draw closer.
He straightens up and in that moment he decided today was the day to tell her how he feels. But once she got closer to him, Daryl noticed the bandage on her arm and his worry got the best of him.
“Long time no see, Dixon” Y/N smiles warmly even if his neutral expression didn’t exactly cover his tense body language. “It’s just a scrape. Gotta see Hershel to see if it needs stitches”
“You better”
“Oh I will, and then I can tell you about the run I just went on” She smiles patting his shoulder in passing leaving him stuck in his thoughts once more.
________
So many opportunities.
And this was the time he chose to take it head on.
Y/N heard commotion going on between a few Saviors and some Oceanside on the other side of the bridge. She quickly apologizes to Eugene who she was talking to about the progression, to go handle what was going on.
“We shouldn’t have to work with scum like you!”
“It ain’t my fault the old man is making us work with weak ass people like yourselves”
“We’re weak?!” One of the Oceanside men got up in the Savior’s face. “Whose fucking leader is caged like an animal?”
“Woah guys let’s break it—-“ Y/N’s words didn’t reach their deaf ears as the Savior grabbed the Oceanside’s collar tossing them down. “Hey! Stop it”
“Back off!” The Savior yells pushing Y/N aside as she was resilient. “This fucking weakling needs to know his place”
“Oh yeah?!” He snaps back rising to his feet and with an unexpected play of drawing his gun which none of the crew that day thought anyone was armed. Even Y/N.
“Hey—Who told you you can—“
“Shut the fuck up! I ain’t listening to you” the gun pointed at Y/N temporarily before going back to the Savior who seem to be standing his ground. “And I’ve had enough of you Saviors walking all over me”
“Really? Then pull the trigger”
“Hey let’s not escalate this any further” Y/N sternly states to the two while standing in between them as she suddenly felt her hair get pulled to bring her back out of the way of the now nervous Oceansider. “Excuse me—-“
“Nah I wanna see if this fucking pussy will actually pull the trigger” He snaps in the nervous one’s face as Y/N tried to push him back because this wasn’t going to end well regardless.
Then the gunshot rang through the nearby woods, alerting the residents in the tent city. Daryl quickly rose to his feet running over toward the bridge with Carol following shortly behind. The two noticed a small crowd was formed and as they drew near, Daryl instantly locked onto Y/N pinning the Oceansider down while Rick kept the Savior at a distance.
“What the hell happened?” Carol snaps bringing herself over to Y/N before realizing. “Let me take over”
“Just take his gun away” Y/N hissed through the pain in her side given the Oceansider was a nervous wreck, making him a nervous shot. He aimed low and Y/N knocked the Savior out of the way. Resulting in her receiving the bullet. “Get the leader of Oceanside to take care of her own, Carol will confiscate the gun and…”
“We’ll call it a day” Rick finishes for her but then noticed the shakiness in her composure. “Somebody catch her”
And that was Daryl’s cue. He caught her right as she started to faint. The archer quickly picked her up and didn’t wait another second to take her to the med-tent that currently had Enid working. Not that he didn’t trust the prodigy, he would rather have Siddiq for someone this important.
“It’s just a flesh wound”
“So no bullet?” Rick asks Enid once she finished applying the pressure bandage on Y/N’s side.
“No bullet. Through and through”
“This could’ve been a whole lot worse. Hell remember when you took a bullet?” Carol laughs a bit of the tension away referring to Daryl’s near death moment.
“Yeah but I would like to knock that son of a bitch’s teeth in when Andrea walked away”
Both Rick and Carol gave each other a confused look when Daryl said such. It definitely didn’t go unnoticed.
“What.”
“Andrea didn’t just walk away”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” The archer was even more confused than ever.
But he’s not the only one pining for another.
________
“Oh you’re a fucking moron that’s trigger happy”
“Now Y/N I didn’t know it was Daryl—-“
“Don’t fucking matter.” Y/N didn’t hesitate to punch the girl square in the jaw, with enough force to cause her to stumble and before Shane or Rick could intervene Y/N held her hand up toward them. Indicating she was done after that. “Four of our men ran over to Daryl to take out the walker—if it was a walker—you didn’t have to get on your high horse and shoot the only other person in this goddamn group that understands”
“Understands fucking what?!”
“I don’t like you. You ain’t getting that out of me” Y/N knelt to her level on the ground. “But if he doesn’t pull through or you try that shit again. I’ll put you six feet under with my bare hands”
________
“She was scary” Rick laughs a bit. “Seriously. Why do yea think I don’t piss her off?”
“Besides, she was at your bedside when you slept in the farmhouse” Carol adds. “She really protective of you in some way”
“She was also the advocate to get yea out of the Sanctuary job sooner. So you didn’t have to relive any trauma left there”
The two stopped talking when they heard Y/N groan indicating she was waking up.
“We’re gonna take care of cleaning up for the night” Carol smiles giving Daryl a look as he glares back stating this isn’t the right time. But she didn’t care and insisted with her eyes.
Enid handed Daryl the painkillers for Y/N to take before giving them the room (or tent).
“Take it easy”
“I feel like shit” She crooked out with a sigh following, Daryl reached for the canteen opening it for her and taking out a few pills. “Mm. Nurse Daryl to my rescue?” She teases bringing herself to sit up which she regretted given the stitches in her side.
“Lay back down and let me actually nurse yea” Daryl got up to grab the pillow from the other cot to help her sit up a bit to take the pills with the water.
Y/N sighs once more handing the canteen back to Daryl and sinking into the cot. “Shit got out of hand”
“Yea don’t gotta talk about it right now. Just rest”
“Mm…Carol and Rick talk a lot” She randomly states receiving Daryl’s confused look as she brought her right arm under her head. “I wasn’t fully unconscious. Yeah lost some blood and fainted, but started coming too a bit ago”
Shit. “What’d yea hear?”
“Besides how you were barking at Enid for doing a simple repair because of how worried you were. The fucking farmhouse story. Guess we both have bullet scars”
“That…isn’t something to be happy about”
“Oh I’m not happy. That bitch reminded me of Andrea when she was trigger happy. Regardless…you’re missing my point here”
“I think I’m tryin’ to avoid it”
“Why?” Y/N gave him a small smile. “Because you wanna be the one to tell me you have feelings for me and not the other way around?” She continues to smile while the blush became more prominent on Daryl’s face.
“I thought…uh. I waited too long”
“We never had a quiet moment, D. Just think about it”

“We really didn’t…” Daryl frowns watching Y/N bring her free hand to take one of his. “But I was still protective of yea”
“So was I”
“Is this finally that moment?”
“As fucked as it is” She laughs squeezing his hand a bit as Daryl leans into her pressing his lips firmly against hers. Feeling the hand behind her head move to run through his hair.
Once they parted…
“Took you two long enough” Carol chimes in with the biggest smile on her face. “Should’ve made a bet on it”
“Shut up”

Hooked
Tumblr media
Warnings: Toxic relationship, drugs, and angst.
Synopsis: Your boyfriend Rafe Cameron throws a party, but things go south rather quickly ending in tears and anger.
Rafe cameron x OC
Part ONE of series. (Can be read as stand alone)
Part TWO- Part THREE- Part FOUR- Part FIVE- Part SIX- Part SEVEN
My first ever Rafe Cameron Fanfiction and first time posting on tumblr, yes I’m nervous.
Word Count:  2,335
Adriana didn’t want to cut the conversation short of JJ talking crap about her boyfriend TO HER, but Adriana needed to get ready for the party.
“OK, JJ, I get it. Just shut up for a second, and let me get this on.” I’ve been listening to him for an hour about Rafe, how I NEEDED to break up with him, and that JJ would be the best boyfriend ever. As much as I loved JJ, I’d never date him, but he wishes.
I made a twirl motion with my finger for JJ to turn around. He did. “Wait, so if I were to break up with Rafe, you think I’d date you? A kook dating a pogue!” I gasped dramatically. “Rafe would kill you. We’ve been dating since high school, J.” I laughed a little at the thought. He turned back around, seeing me in a tan bikini. “It’d be worth it for my kook best friend and my true love.” JJ takes my hand and kisses it. I throw my head back, laughing. “Go away.” I put on white flowy shorts that fit my waist perfectly, a tan button-up long sleeve, and then tied it.
I spun around, showing JJ my entire outfit. He looks me up and down playfully and checks the time. “We have to go!” He says quickly. I mumbled ‘right’ and rushed out with JJ running behind me. He picked up all the belongings I’d forgotten, like my purse, which had about everything in it and then my phone.
We arrived at the party. “Why can’t you come?” I gave JJ my best pouty face. “Rafe would have a fit like usual, and I got shit to do, unlike others.” He coughs, hinting at me being a kook, and gives me the worst excuse. I roll my eyes at him and shut the truck door. Like JJ has EVER cared about what Rafe thought.
The first thing center and in the middle was Rafe- snorting coke. You didn’t linger on the sight you’d just seen as it was something you guys had argued about almost every day, it seemed. I walked away and went to find Kie or Sarah, knowing the two would be around somewhere.
I decided to walk outside to the pool. There she is. “Sarah!” I called out to her. Sarah ran up to me and hugged me. “I missed youuuu.” She says, giggling. Sarah takes my hand, forgetting she’d just been sitting with Topper and the others. She takes us into the kitchen and starts mixing alcohol. At most, I’d seen was vodka, maybe Tequila, and something else. “I don’t want to get wasted tonight.” It was meant to come out in a way that didn’t seem like I was questioning my logic or the words that just came out.
“Come on. Rafe has been bringing you down for days now.” She slurs her words while a frown stays on her face. She shoves the cup of ease in my hand and leaves me to it, but just before she goes, Sarah blows you a lovely kiss. Drink it,’ she mouths to you and stumbles away laughing.
I swish the liquid around in the red solo cup, deciding whether I should drink it. I take sips of it while I walk around. I spot Rafe again and turn around quickly. I bump into Kie. “KIE, where have you been.” I smile at her. “Just having fun.” She winks at me cheerfully. “No way my Kiara is macking some Kook.” I run a hand through my hair, laughing. I take another sip out of the cup Sarah poured me. “Boyfriend alert!” She coughs, moving her eyes behind me. “I’ll see you later, and give me details,” I whisper while laughing. She gives me a thumbs up and cheers me.
I feel him put his arm around my shoulder. “Hey, baby.” I clear my throat, looking up at him with a smile. “Who was that?” He questions with a look in his eye. I was too tipsy for his games today. If Rafe were to ask me to do coke with him right now, I’d say no but hesitate, and I’m not one to hesitate for anything. This is why I stopped drinking alcohol; it makes me vulnerable to bad decisions.
“It was Kie. Why?” He shrugs his shoulder. “Just asking, babe. You know how about you and me- me and you go up to my room.” I nodded, but I did it with reluctance at the pure fact that he was hiding something physical or he was going to tell me he was cheating. So instead, he kissed my neck and then took my hand, leading me upstairs.
I take my sneakers off and sit on his bed. “Ok. Just listen.” I let out a nervous breath. He takes out a bag of coke. “Ra-” He shuts me up by talking over me and then stops when I do. Rafe cages me in as both arms go on either side of me. “Listen, baby. You should let me,” He pauses, looking into my eyes. I can tell it’s something I’m not going to agree with, especially since it has to do with this. “Just let me do coke off your tits.” I scoff.
My back hits the bed as I laugh sarcastically at his brilliant idea. I sit up on my elbows. He takes this as an opportunity to get on top of me. “Last time I let you do that, you- you fucking held it over my head every time I asked you to get better.” I shake my head in disbelief. To this day, he holds it like a poster high in the air when I force him to stop doing this or when we get into arguments.
He unties my shirt, throwing it onto the ground. “Rafe. I’m not doing this with you.”
“Baby, if you let me do this, I’ll let it go. I will. Promise.” He holds out his pinky finger as his other hand finds the bag of coke. I think about it and then link my pinky finger with his. He smiles at me. “Mhm, I miss the badass, Adriana.”
Rafe gets on his forearms so that he’s closer to me. I pull him in for a kiss. He takes it. It was rough and fast-paced. Then, Rafe starts kissing my neck, undoubtedly making his marks for others to see later on. He moves to my cleavage and looks up at me. I nodded, trying not to smile. Rafe takes off my tan bikini top, looking almost primal in a way or whatever it means. I start feeling hot and sweaty with him on top of me, smothering kisses all over my boobs, giving me too much time to think about what I’m doing.
“Rafe fucking pour the coke on me before I say no.” He opens the bag of white powder and dumps some on my boobs. He mumbles, ‘Fuck’ getting off of me. “Rafe, I swear to god if you leave me here.” I feel like I’m on coke. “Baby, I’m right here. Calm down. I’m going to look for a dollar bill. It should be- oh right here.” He smiles at me but then realizes how anxious I look. He gets back on top of me. Rafe kisses me softly. He rubs my cheek with his thumb gently. “We will have the best sex after this. I promise that I’ll fuck you as hard as I can.” He winks at me, which makes me feel a little better, knowing I’ll get some solace out of this act. Right?
I feel the dollar bill on my skin and look at Rafe. He pauses; he doesn’t notice that I’m looking at him. The rolled-up bill glides across my chest quickly. Rafe lets out a sigh of relief. His face turns red, and I watch his pupils dilate. I feel like crying. “Shit, baby, ready.” He grabs my hips, pulling me closer. I try to stop crying, and I do, but I don’t want to ruin this because he’ll get mad. “Why are your eyes red.” He questions me and puts his face closer to mine. He sighs.
“Why are you about to cry.” He tries not to look mad, but I can tell he’s getting there. I look away. “Adriana, I’ve been calm with you all night. Don’t start this shit now!” Rafe’s hands make their way to my face forcing me to look at him. His thumb was under my chin, and his index finger held my chin in place. “I’m sorry. Can we just do this, please?” I try and go in for a kiss, but he gets off of me.
Tears start falling. Like a lot of tears start coming out. Rafe throws me the top of my bikini. I don’t put it on yet; instead, I cross my arms, covering my boobs. “Put your fucking top on, Adriana. It’s over. You already fucked it all up.”
“Please, Rafe, I can fix this.” He turns his back away from me as I try to make him turn around. “Why are you crying. Adriana why!? I mean, make me fucking understand, ADRIANA.” Rafe starts yelling as he points at himself, angry at me. “Can you help me?” My voice turns shaky as I ask him. I’ve tied enough of my own tops to know how to do this, but maybe he’ll calm down. “See, I can fucking help you, and you can’t help me. I just wanted to do some cocaine and fuck, but you can’t even do the simplest thing.” Rafe whispers in my ear threatenly as he ties my top too tight.
“Look at me.” He demands. I look up at him. I can feel him press against my lower back, although I don’t think he’s doing it on purpose. His hand snakes up my stomach to my neck. He squeezes my neck and then kisses me hard. I kiss back, but not with the vast amount of intensity as him. He lets go of my neck as I let out a breath that I was holding in, and It was hard to breathe. “I’m going to go back downstairs. Ok, baby. I love- you.” He raises his eyebrows at me, obviously calming down. “I love you too, baby.” I barely smile at him and decide against giving him a soft kiss like I usually would in these situations, which we also seem to be in more because of me.
Rafe left me alone in his room, not bothering to ask if I wanted to come with him. Of course, I didn’t, but still. I sit down on his bed and start breaking down. I look down at the floor and see my shirt that I don’t care to pick up or put on.
I lay down and get under the comforter as his smell envelops me. I start to hyperventilate. My organs feel like they're stopping, and my lungs are out of oxygen. As I try to breathe, I feel someone sit down on the bed and hug me. “Adriana, what did he do,” Kiara asks me, concerned. “Nothing- I just need to breathe, Kie.” I count in my head, breathing in one, two, three, and then breath out. I do it a couple more times. Finally, I reach a stable point where I can breathe without it being ragged.
Kie lays in the bed with me. “Ad, you have to tell me what happened.” She puts her arm around my waist. I take a deep breath in. “After I talked with you. Rafe took me upstairs obviously and- and asked to do coke off my boobs, and I let him and then started crying because I just-” My voice starts cracking, and I start sniffling. “Hey, it’s ok. It’s not your fault, Ad. You just wanted to make him happy.” Kie hadn’t been sure of her response to this situation and was still unsure about what had happened. Kiara rests her head on me. We lay here for another five minutes in peaceful silence.
I am so grateful to have Kie. I don’t know what I’d do without her. “Hey, the party is probably ending. I have to go, ok. I love you.” She smiles at me and then gets up. I pull her in for a hug. “I love you too. Make sure to tell me details tomorrow.” I laugh a little. She waves at me, smiling and shuts Rafe’s bedroom door leaving me all alone.
I started to get uncomfortable in my clothes, ergo I changed into one of Rafe’s button-up long sleeves neither did I put shorts on, just panties. I usually never used my phone, but I always kept it with me just in case something happened, and I wanted to see if Rafe had maybe texted me. There was nothing other than JJ telling me goodnight. So I texted with a simple ‘gn.’ I wasn’t in the mood tonight for his B.S.
I put my phone on the bedside table and went to sleep. I didn’t see tonight ending like this, and I wished it hadn’t
Rafe entered his bedroom, turned the light on, and saw Adriana sleeping. “Adriana, you awake.” He asked her, but there wasn’t a reply. He wanted to make sure she’d been asleep, plus he felt like shit and couldn’t handle another argument tonight.
The tired boy took off his polo shirt and shorts, throwing them on the ground next to his girlfriends’ clothes. Then, he got into bed with her as her sleeping body faced him. He felt terrible that he made her think that the whole argument was her fault when it was all his fault.
Rafe pulled his body closer to Adriana’s. She moved closer to Rafe as she tried to get comfortable in her sleep. “I’m sorry.” He said sincerely to the still beautiful sleeping girl.

my brain started cooking up narumina high school au and now i kinda have to write it
au where mina is part of a shooting club (don’t know if this is a Thing or sport in japan but it is in some places so) and she’s the Only Member. the only other member (kafka) graduated before they could do it together so . it’s just her now and Has been her ever since her first year (she’s a second year now)
cue: narumi. annoyed. frustrated. angry. at some stupid shit the teacher said about him skipping classes or playing games in class and the baseball club doesn’t want to let him use their bat and he’s not a member bc they have practice and he doesn’t have any other outlet so he’s trudging along the school compounds walking further and further away from the main buildings when he hears a loud Bang
he doesn’t know what it is, but he plays enough games to recognize a gun going off. he doesn’t run, just finds his aimless walking a bit more pointed. more motivated. as he walks in the direction of the noise
there he finds. to his surprise. a shooting range. there are targets placed on the opposite stretch of the …?? grass?? idk i’m visualising a setup similar to archery rn but once i do more research this is subject to change the MAIN part is that the targets all have bullet holes in them and they’re ALL bullseye
he drags his eyes away from the targets and finds the source of the damage.
a girl with short hair he feels like he’s seen before Somewhere and she’s in her pe uniform the jacket sleeves rolled up to her elbows with the little googles and headphones on and narumi watches in (he hates to admit it) admiration as she loads up the gun with such precise accuracy he can’t follow with his eyes and the next moment he hears another resounding bang
“holy shit.” he finds himself saying and in the next moment the pin drop silence as she aims at the next target is broken because she turns to him immediately.
thankfully the gun isnt pointed at him, and she’s kept her arms in position. the only thing that’s moved is her head and narumi sees the pure confusion on her face and wonders if he’s somehow walked so much he isn’t on the school grounds anymore
“oh.” she says, and puts the gun down and pulls the headphones off her head and keeps them resting around her neck. “it’s you.”
and narumi knows what that tone means. she knows him. he doesn’t know her though.
narumi hates to think about how his face must scream confusion because she follows up before he can say anything with: “we’re in the same class.”
he doesn’t attend classes often. or at all really. so that’s why she seemed a bit familiar. like a blurry after image.
“what is this place,” he says, not a question because narumi doesn’t ask questions, he simply gets answers.
“a shooting range.”
“i’ve never heard of a shooting club in this school.”
“because it doesn’t exist.”
he waits for an explanation. because a building so obviously made to host students or whoever with all this equipment and yet there’s no club?? narumi doesn’t believe it. but he doesn’t think she’s lying to him either.
she takes a painfully long time to find her words, or maybe she just doesn’t want to talk to him, because she keeps her eyes trained on the targets far away.
“i’m the only member. so it doesn’t exist.”
narumi thinks he’s heard somewhere that school clubs need a minimum number of members. he never really cared though. since his after school activities consisted of doing what he does during school hours - play games, pick fights, etc. he doesn’t go to school in the first place. so he doesn’t need an after school club.
he looks at the guns lined up. they’re all clean. he looks around him. everything is spotless. no indication of abandonment.
“well. i don’t care about your circumstances,” he says, and points at the gun she was holding. “i want to shoot too.”
he recalls the image of his form teacher, or maybe it was his science teacher, narumi doesn’t know - he doesn’t even know why he came to school today
(but he does. it’s because they kept begging him to attend at least once a week and narumi can’t say no to family)
but that teacher. with his bald head and smoker breath just kept on saying he should be more responsible blah blah he’s almost a third year god what does narumi care? he shouldn’t even have lived this long but here he is! and just thinking about it has narumi balling his fists up in anger.
“you need to be a club member.”
“does that really matter.”
“yes.”
she’s finally looking at him again. and narumi observes how she has really round eyes. a mole under each one. despite looking pretty innocent, she seems to be serious about this, mouth drawn into a frown and eyebrows furrowed.
narumi can’t really be bothered but he has so much pent up energy. and shooting a gun sounds really fucking awesome.
“okay. whatever. just let me shoot.”
she hurries off somewhere, through a door narumi hadn’t really noticed before and he takes off his school jacket, rolling his sleeves up.
he observes the equipment on the table, and then sees there’s spares in a nearby box. those will have to do.
as he puts on the goggles, he looks around for headphones, ear muffs, whatever, narumi knows their purpose - doesn’t need to know what they’re called but can’t find any.
the girl. he doesn’t know her name still. not that it matters. returns with a piece of paper and he almost barks out a laugh
“fill it in.”
“you’re not gonna tell me to wait until it’s approved before i get to shoot, are you.” he glares at her, because narumi seriously doesn’t want to wait any longer. he wants to let out all these restless energy now.
“i’m the one approving new members.”
“you’re not a teacher.”
“i’m a good student.”
he doesn’t know what the fuck that means but it manages to piss him off a bit more so he scribbles his details into the damn form and shoves it at her.
“approve it.”
“say please.”
he feels himself snap.
“are you trying to piss me off?”
she’s not the least bit intimidated. in fact she doesn’t look away from his glare. most people in the orphanage would have run away by now. and she repeats herself, “say please.”
he takes one look at the gun on the table. the guns on display. the painstaking effort of keeping all these equipment clean despite no one using them. the painstaking effort of keeping a club no one cares about alive.
“please approve the fucking form.”
if she has a single thing to say about it, she doesn’t. she doesn’t say anything. takes a stamp out from her jacket pocket and stamps his club registration.
it takes him a bit later to realize he’s joined a fucking after school club.
he’s being handed a gun, similar to the one she was holding and he grabs it. she doesn’t tell him to watch and follow when she starts loading it up. he got the memo the moment she side eyed him and started preparing, much slower than she had earlier when she was alone.
that annoys narumi a bit.
but he follows everything to a tee. commits the steps to his memory. doesn’t know why. doesn’t think he’ll be back. but he makes sure to remember anyway.
she looks around the area for a bit, as narumi feels the weight of the gun in his hands.
while he’s distracted, he doesn’t realize she’s in his personal space until she is, and he has to hold back from throwing a punch.
their heights aren’t that different, which adds to narumi’s list of annoyances from today, and he takes the split second to calculate how tall the girl must be. above 165cm that’s for sure.
how surprising, she’s got a baby face, so narumi had expected her to be shorter.
when her face is finally drawn away from his, he feels the weight of something around his neck and understands what had happened. she could’ve just passed the ear muffs to him though.
what a weirdo.
she puts her own earmuffs on, and narumi mirrors her actions.
she shifts her stance, and he follows.
she shoots and narumi forgets how to breathe.
the atmosphere around her changes for the split second she releases the trigger, and for once - narumi feels fear.
everything seems to move in slow motion, as he watches her. her face. her eyes narrowed. concentration the only thing there and time resumes as the bullet pierces through the air.
narumi doesn’t have to look to know she’s hit bullseye again.
it’s a challenge. to him, at least. he knows she probably doesn’t care about him. but narumi wants to shoot like that too. so he takes a deep breath and steadies himself and pulls the trigger.
“you’re surprisingly bad.”
not a single bullet hit even remotely close to the center of the target.
“aren’t you just absurdly good?! who the fuck hits bullseye consecutively? look at all your targets!” he screeches, tugging the ear muffs off.
“kafka-kun did say i was weirdly accurate…” she muses, has to think about it- as if she wasn’t aware. as if she only had this realisation.
narumi wants to sock her in the eye or something.
he lets out a deep sigh. at least he released his pent up anger. although he’s kind of angry at a whole other thing now.
“so? what the hell are you doing here if you’re this good. there are competitions aren’t there.”
he doesn’t know why he’s making conversation
“i’m just taking care of the club.”
“the club that doesn’t exist.” he points out.
“i made a promise.”
and narumi remembers he’s not the type of person to give a shit. so he shrugs, ending the conversation.
he refuses to ask for help. for advice. so he keeps his eyes on her as she shoots, and narumi thinks there’s no need for her to train at all. her. accuracy is crazy. he doesn’t know why she even bothers coming here.
by the end of the day, two hours later, he’s managed to get a bit better. or so he likes to think.
he can’t believe he stayed until the sun is about to set. in school.
as she starts cleaning up, narumi finds himself mimicking her actions, the same way he has been doing the entire time.
to his own surprise, his back is sweating, and it must’ve taken a bit more effort than he’d considered.
“ashiro!” somebody calls, and narumi nearly jumps out of his skin. he doesn’t get surprised though. so he pretends he isn’t.
ashiro. he says the name in his head. so that’s who she is.
doesn’t ring a bell.
“hoshina.” she says, and despite a friend (?) - narumi presumes, showing up to this side of the school - she doesn’t smile.
in fact, narumi doesn’t think she’s seen her make any sort of expression that wasn’t a straight face or brief concentration.
well. not that he cares.
“who’s that?”
she looks over to him.
and he looks back at her.
“narumi. from my class.”
so she does know his name.
“ahhh the problem child?”
this guy is pissing him off.
“and who the hell are you? club activities ended ten minutes ago, for your information.”
he doesn’t know if they did end ten minutes ago. but it’s when ashiro started packing up. so he assumes that’s the case
the guy laughs - loud and annoying and narumi held back against punching ashiro but he won’t back against this guy.
“you bastard-,” he growls, walking up to him and glares at ashiro who stops him.
she doesn’t stop him. per say. doesn’t say anything really. but she’s moved closer to him. and she has one eyebrow raised.
“whatever.”
he doesn’t know why he stops.
narumi gen doesn’t stop for anyone.
and that annoys him even more. his list is pretty long now.
longer than it should’ve been.
“so you managed to increase your club numbers? good for you.”
it sounds so sarcastic, but narumi knows it’s not. everything just kind of sounds like shit when it comes from that guy.
“i’m not-,” narumi starts, and then stops. that’s twice now. “i’m not.”
ashiro holds the piece of paper up. the fucking club form and points at the stamp in red. “he is.”
“i’m not coming back here.”
“you probably should though? your aim doesn’t seem to be the best.”
the guy says, and damn this fucking bowlcut guy because the next time he speaks narumi will definitely slam this guy face’s into the wood floor.
“hoshina.” she says, and the tone is a warning. narumi doesn’t need somebody else giving out warnings for him. “your aim is just as terrible.”
“but i’m not a member of the club.”
“he’s new.”
narumi doesn’t know if she’s insulting him or defending him. doesn’t think he’d like either option.
the guy shrugs. before looking at ashiro. “are you done? let’s go.”
she nods and turns to him. they walk out together.
ashiro locks up, and narumi leans a little away from her to take one last glance at the shooting range.
“see you tomorrow, narumi.” it’s the first time she’s addressed him by name. even though she knew it.
“i’m not coming to school.”
“you’ll be here though.”
she doesn’t have to specify for him to know she means here - as in the shooting range.
“i’m not coming to school.” he repeats.
she shrugs, like she already knows.
narumi watches as the two leave, talking about something he can’t hear from where he is, still standing by the door of the shooting range.
he’s not coming back tomorrow.
“you’re here.”
“took you long enough. unlock the door.”
“i told you so.”
“shut up.”

A patchwork sleeve tells stories! That's what I love. So many tattoos with different meanings or origin stories. I go feral for women with patchwork. I would love to crawl into their arms mind's and ask what each tattoo represents.
Nauurrrr never seen Halloween?? How can you! Jk, to me they are classics and I grew up with them so I have always loved Michael.
Wow, you got it bad for Natty if you hate spiders but are willing to get one tattooed for her. Honestly kinda same. My tattoo artist for my leg sleeve is a Ukrainian goddess. Initially I only planned to get 1 medium sized tattoo by her but then she liked my idea so much and was so excited to make a sleeve out of it that I came back. Again and again. I never wanted black and Grey tattoos but now here I am with a whole ass leg full of them because I wanted to please her and see her again. Similarly to that I had no clue what to put on the back of my leg so I let her come up with an idea and it's a little girl in a dress walking on a planet through a forest. The thing is, I neither like children nor dresses. I only agreed to her idea because she was smiling and so excited about it. Now I have a permanent reminder of how much of a sucker I am for pretty women.
The second Ghostface idea sounds so cool!! I am actually the same with tattoos/making a decision, so that's why I get something tattooed as soon as I like it. Otherwise I would never get anything. That's maybe not the best idea and always think about it longer but for me it worked out fine so far.
Anyway. Long story short, I love your tattoo ideas and your style! You really have great taste. Here's another Sam edit that made me fall to my knees
https://vm.tiktok.com/ZGJncPxeE/
Sam covered in blood is so sexy
Patchwork sleeves are so beautiful!! And I love the little stories they tell! I also go feral when I see a woman with patchwork tattoos, or any tattoos at all. There’s this girl in almost all of my classes and she has so many tattoos 😩 I would talk to her, but I’m socially awkward around pretty women 😭
I seriously need to watch all of the Halloween movies, it’s embarrassing that I call myself a horror fan and I haven’t seen them. I’ve also only seen the first Jason movie as well…
Spiders aren’t too bad for me, but I am terrified of snakes. I’ll never see me with a snake tattoo
Your Ukrainian tattoo artist tho!!!! I’m actually jealous! I would get a whole ass sleeve for a hot tattoo artist. And your little girl tattoo sounds so pretty!! The fact that you don’t like children or dresses just makes it so much better
SAM CARPENTER COVERED IN BLOOD!!!! I wish we got to see more of her covered in it like she was in 5

Flufftober: Feburary.
Tumblr media
I'm doing Feburary's Flufftober by @flufftober.
As of who I wanted to do the flufftober on, I was thinking about it for a while, when I decided that I wanted to do it with Elaine and Tynan this time around. And honestly, I wanted to write a short story on them for a while, so why not.
For the art I did Elaine dancing while Tynan is watching her dance. I did it a bit differently than usual. First drawing and coloring the picture in, and then I used Krita to color it on top.
So I hope you enjoy the art and the story.
___
Sitting on the desk, Tynan eyes wants to close on him. He looks tries to look around, wait for Elaine to come back. It has been an hour since she has gone. The heaviness of his tired eyes starts to close... When a door slams open.
Tynan eyes shoots open, as his wings flaps a few times. He looks up and see the gray cat with pink hair reaching just above her shoulders. And her white streak from her hair isn’t there. How unusual.
“Elaine! What took you so long?” he asks, the hoodie going half way through his sight. He adjusts it.
She is laughing. “Tynan. You haven’t gotten ready?”
“Ready...? Ready for what?”
“Snappi invited us to a party, remember?”
And it hit him, a party. With lots of people. he remembered that conversation. The green crocodile came to their house a few weeks before.
“Hey hey! Elaine, Tynan, we’re holding a party next week. Feburary 14th, Valentines day! Do you guys want to come?”
“Oh really? Hell yeah, I want to come!” She then turned to Tynan, “Did you want to come Tynan...? I know you don’t like these sort of things, I --”
“Yeah, I can come.” he gave the most convincing smile he can manage.
He thought at the time, that it wouldn’t be that bad. But now since it is the day, he is not too sure if he wants to go.
He looks away from her.
“Is this your way of saying that you don’t want to go?” Elaine asks, with her arms on her waist.
Tynan blinks and his eyes widens. Elaine is wearing different clothing to what she usually wears. Sure, she’s still wearing white, but instead of a dress, she’s wearing white pants with a white long sleeve shirt and coat that falls just below her knees. She is also wearing black boots. He could actually see her gray tail behind her. “You’re really admiring how I look, huh?” Her mouth curves.
“Yes, Elaine. You look beautiful.” He says. If Elaine have her katana made, then she would look even more elegant.
“You want to go? Or are you starting to have second thoughts?”
“Honestly Elaine... I don’t know if I want to go...”
Elaine’s eyes widens for a second, but then she nods slow “It’s ok Tynan... We’ll just...”
A sudden knock come to the door. They look at each other before Elaine goes towards it and opens to see a stubby little green crocodile with the small dark blue T-rex holding their arm. They both are wearing top hats.
“Greetings Elaine and Tynan.” Snippy says with a small smile curving.
“Are we gonna start walking there together? But, oooh, you look so nice Elaine.”
Elaine starts to laugh, putting her arms behind her back.
“Thanks Snippy and Snappi, but Tynan doesn’t want to go today.” Elaine says, “And honestly, I don’t really want to go either.”
“Elaine!” Tynan says flapping on the top of her shoulder, “You were so looking forward to that party." He said, now remembering her talking about it at least half the time she was near him. "You can go if you want to.”
“No, it’s ok. There’s no point in it.”
Snippy and Snappi glance at each other before they face them both. They both had a smile on their face.
“I kinda expected that you didn’t want to go Tynan. Isn’t that right Snippy?”
“Yes, it's ok if you want to be alone for the day.”
Snappi gives them a disk. “Here, have this. Maybe you both will like this song.” Elaine reaches out and grabs the disk, staring at it.
“You know you didn’t have to, right? We’re not your lovers.”
“But you are a charm to have around.” Snippy says and Snappi nods.
“Ok, we will go now. Have fun~!” Snappi says as they grab Snippy’s small stubby hand and they both run off.
Elaine and Tynan watches them run for a minute before Elaine closes the door.
“Well... I guess it’s just us two.” Tynan bobs his head. As they both stare at the disk the reptiles had given them.
“Silence by Marshmello feat Khalid...”
“Who is Marshmello?” Elaine asks, and she looks as if she’s going to laugh. “Is it an actual marshmallow singing this song!?”
Tynan laughs. The thought of an actual marshmellow singing is funny to think about. “I do not know Elaine, but if they say that we’ll like it, then perhaps... We should listen to it.”
Elaine grabs the radio from the room, and puts the disk in, and closes it. Then, a red rose appears from her hand.
“Here. I nearly forgot to give this to you.”
“What...!? For me?”
“Yes.” Elaine says “I would of given a bouquet to you if you came to the party, but I decided to grab one with me in case.” She clips it onto his scarf and he looks at her.
“Elaine... Thank you.”
The song starts to play and Elaine gets up and starts to dance, and Tynan looks at her and smiles, with her arms swinging around with the rhythm.
‘I found peace in your violence
Can't tell me there's no point in trying
I'm at one, and I've been quiet for too long.
I'm in need of a savior (Savior), but I'm not asking for favors
My whole life, I've felt like a burden
I think too much, and I hate it
I'm so used to being in the wrong, I'm tired of caring
Loving never gave me a home, so I'll sit here in the silence... ’
Tynan looks away at Elaine, with tears in his eyes, Those memories he’s been keeping for so long is coming back. The song continues when Elaine looks at him. Then she runs towards him.
“Hey, Tynan. Are you ok?”
He breathes in deep and his eyes glance at her.
“I... I don’t think so...” He says, looking down from the table, looking down to the floor. “I am scared Elaine. After when they went and put her in the Telling arc. To test her and to see if they can get magic... But then... She never came back.” His feathers fluffs out, as tears couldn’t stop flowing down.
“... So we’re going to be talking about that time...?” Elaine’s ears droops. He nearly forgot that she doesn’t like talking about it either.
“I... I’m sorry I --”
“Tynan.” Elaine raises her hand. “Don’t apologise. I know it’s harder for you then it is for me. She was one of your pupils after all...”
Tynan breathes out hard. “Yes... I... Having to hide this secret. This... ‘accident’ from others... I still think there are people who think I did something bad to her. I don’t like to hide any of this.”
“I know I...” She leans towards him and her arms wraps around his body. “I don’t like it either.”
Elaine lets go and her slit eyes stares at Tynan, her eyes bent down. “But you know... Even if we are now bounded to this place... You are my partner, and I will always have your back. Ok?”
“... No matter what happens?”
Elaine nods “Yes, no matter what happens. Because we still have a duty to fulfill.” Elaine’s mouth twitches upwards “And because you’re my adorable little marshmallow.”
“Are you trying to sidestep that you’re not a marshmallow too?”
“Oh my god, no!” Elaine says as her face starts to glow red, “Shut up! I am not admitting that!”
Tynan laughs at Elaine, as she starts going on a tangent on twenty reasons on why she’s not a marshmallow.
But that is right. As long as she is there, they can go through anything together. They have gone through countless battles together, so he thinks they can get through the next series of battles, no matter what will come next.

“Are You A Feminist?”
At 4 years old, I was taught that when a boy bullies a girl, that means he liked her. I thought “Oh, so that means I should bully [my little pre-school crush], because if boys bully girls to tell them they like them, it goes both ways!” So I raced around the playground with him at recess, I poked him in class to tell him jokes, and laughed when he tripped while helping him up and he did all the same to me. In my mind, this was bullying, but as you can probably tell, it was no where near it. But still, whenever he whined about losing the race, I got in trouble because “I wasn’t playing fair;” whenever he laughed to loud, I got in trouble because “I was distracting him;” whenever I took a second to long to help him up, I got in trouble because “I had pushed him.” But whenever I whined, or laughed to loud, or was on the cold linoleum floor for to long, he was never in trouble, it was still always my fault for not being fast enough, “it’s okay, you’re just a girl.” For not ignoring [crush], “he’s just trying to get a rise out of you.” For being unlady-like and absentminded, “you have to pay more attention.” My teacher was a woman.
At age 6, right before starting kindergarten, I was told my dad was not my “real dad” and how all my brothers, but one, came from different fathers. My mother had several conversations with me throughout that year explaining in detail how three separate times, 3 guys lied and manipulated her into a relationships with them. Throughout this she told my about the abuse and sexual assault towards herself and us kids in every house. Once my full-brother had gotten to 6 I asked, “Will you tell him to? I can help if you want” but she surprised me by responding, “Of course not, he’s much to young go know all that!” “But that’s how old I was when you told me?” and her response to that is something I wish I could rip out of every throat that’s ever said it to me since. The fact that the first time I heard it was from my mother will always haunt me. “But it’s different because you’re a girl” To this day she hasn’t told my 3 younger brothers anything and they are all well over 6 years old. My 2 older brothers only know because their dad has split custody, but they know nothing except that their dad provided the sperm for them. I will have to live with this knowledge for the rest of my life, and have had to since I was learning to tie my own shoe laces, but my grown brothers will be “protected” from that information and will likely never know about the abuse my mother had to go through.
Growing up with five brothers wasn’t easy. I don’t like any stereotypical “boyish” things and neither do half my brothers, but while they were asked interesting, thoughtful questions about what they did like, whether or not it was just “boyish” things (it was always just football or video games), I was always dismissed as just liking makeup and fashion and barbies. I didn’t like any of those things growing up. I liked looking at what ancient sculptures used to look like, and how land animals evolved from sea creatures, and how other languages came together into the one I speak, but of course no one wanted to hear me talk about those things. My brothers flourished in school and everywhere else; I was labeled as dumb and a loner. Soon I was forced to “like” stereotypical “girly” things so I could have normal childhood friendships, but my brothers, even though also not conforming to gender norms at all, were not forced to being anything bug themselves. They were celebrated for being different, I was berated for not being “normal.”
From 7 to 8 years old, my mother refused to buy me glasses, and wouldn’t tell me why, even though she knew I really needed them. Around that time she also started refusing to let me wear my hair up in a ponytail or pigtails. She made me start wearing long sleeves in summer. She refused to buy me new shorts after I grew out of my old ones. She started teaching me how to make a grown man “go to sleep” with kicks to the groin, thumbs and pepper spray to the eyes, and sharp objects to the throat.
Throughout my life I have experienced many, MANY horrible things. I decided to tell some passive sexist things I’ve had to go through that has fucked me up emotionally and mentally and will continue to, just like my physical assaults have and will as well. All men benefit from the patriarchy, even if just to be celebrated for being decent human beings because the bar is set so low, or to not get the blame as a child, or to be “protected” from knowing women's struggles, or to be loved and appreciated as a child, or to not have to be trained how to not get raped at 7. Even if it’s “not all men,” all men still reap the benefits whether they know it or not. EVERY woman is a victim to the patriarchy and sexism, even if she hasn’t been physically SA’d.

Mommy Issues - Eddie Munson x Reader
Note: I think this may be the first time I’ve ever used this term in a nonsexual way? But anyway. When I started to think about what happened to Eddie’s mom, this is what my brain came up with.
Summary: Eddie’s mother shows up unexpectedly and turns a lazy day on it’s head.
Warnings: talk of parental abandonment, abandonment issues, mentions of domestic abuse, language, i think that’s it?
Words: 3.9k
Tumblr media
“Oh God, another one?”
Eddie laughs off your complaint and presses a kiss to the side of your head. You sigh into his neck and scoot in even tighter to his side.
“Baby, you know we can’t just stop with one movie. And you like Star Wars!” Eddie says.
You pull your head back to look up at him with a pout. “Yeah, I do, but they’re really long! And it’s such a nice day outside. Why do we have to stay cooped up on the couch all day?”
“Oh, so you don’t like being all pressed up next to me?” he asks, raising his eyebrows at you. You were a cuddle-aholic, and though he loves it just as much as you do, you seem to be the one who gets teased for it.
“I can press up against you outside, you know,” you say.
“Do tell,” Eddie says with a mischievous glint in his eye.
“Let’s go to the park,” you say, avoiding his attempt at salacious talk. “Or just drive around with the windows down. We can come back when it’s dark and watch the movie. Let’s enjoy the sun!”
Eddie could never deny you anything, so he knew from the first second that he’d be grabbing the keys to his van. He pretends to deliberate for a minute, wanting to leave you squirming next to him.
“Okay. We can grab some food on the way to the park, too. I’m starving,” he finally says.
“When are you not?” You smirk and pinch his tiny waist.
He tackles you down onto the couch, holding your hands down at your sides as he assaults your face with loud, smacking kisses. You laugh fiercely underneath him and squirm, which just eggs him on further.
“Eddie!” you whine out through a laugh.
Eddie releases you and climbs off the couch. You take a moment to catch your breath before sitting up.
“You’re getting off easy. You’re lucky I have to pee before we go,” he says
You snort a laugh at him as he walks down the hallway. Just as Eddie steps into the bathroom, the doorbell rings. It’s rare that Wayne or Eddie get any visitors that aren’t you, so your brow is scrunched in curiosity as you stand up.
Tiptoeing for no particular reason than you don’t want this stranger to hear your footsteps, you move closer to the window that’s closest to the front door. You crane your neck to peek out and see a woman standing on the porch. She’s wearing a white floral short sleeve sweater and a plumb-colored skirt that reaches her knees. You can’t see her face because it’s covered by a curtain of dirty blond hair. The woman is holding the strap of her purse in both hands, rubbing them back and forth over the handle like a nervous twitch.
“Eddie,” you whisper yell down the hallway. “There’s a woman at your door.”
“Okay?” he answers. “Gonna open it?”
“Should I?”
His laugh is heard through the bathroom door. “It is the courteous thing to do when someone rings the bell.”
You huff at him under your breath and take the few steps to the front door. When you pull the door open, the woman’s facial expression changes from nervousness to smiling to try and hide the nervousness. Immediately you know she can’t be a good poker player.
“Hi, can I help you?” you ask.
She has a round face with a sweet smile. It’s her eyes, though. When you look into her large dark chocolate eyes you know exactly who she is.
“Um, yes, hi,” the woman starts. “I was just wondering…do Wayne or Eddie still live here?”
“Yeah,” you tell her. Your brain is already trying to piece out how this is going to go. Your defenses are already up, and protective mode has been activated. “They live here. Why?”
“Oh, I, uh,” she stutters. She looks down at the beige flats she’s wearing on her feet before meeting your eyes again. “I’m looking for either of them. Are they home?”
Behind you, you can hear Eddie’s footsteps coming down the hall. Your hand on the doorknob grips it tighter, and your free hand reaches behind you, blindly asking for Eddie to take it as he comes closer.
“Babe?” He walks up to you and slips his hand in yours, your body and his angle keeping him from seeing who’s outside. “Who was at the door, babe?”
“Yeah,” you tell the woman through a clenched jaw. You know it’s not your place to keep them apart, but for the sake of your boyfriend’s emotions, you really want to. “Eddie’s home.”
The woman takes a deep breath at this new information, and you feel Eddie creeping in closer behind you. His hand brushes your waist, and you know he’s going to see her any moment.
“Babe?” he asks again and leans down to press his lips to your shoulder. His eyes gaze past you and lock with the eyes of the woman on the porch. At his sudden silence, you know you were right. You peek at him over your shoulder and see a stunned Eddie. His face is colored in shock as he moves to step around you, facing the woman fully.
“Mom?”
The word sounds so small falling from his lips. Of course you’d heard him say the word before, but never in that saccharine way. The word didn’t even hold that much emotion the first time he told you about his mom leaving.
“Hi, sweetie,” she says.
At the use of the endearment, your anger rises. What right does she have to use that term with him? Didn’t she waive that away when she left him at the age of six? The way her eyes tear up makes you think you should probably be a little more empathetic, but the way Eddie’s face has somehow become as open and innocent as a child’s shuts down any start of warm feelings towards the woman.
“What are you doing here?” Eddie asks. His eyes are focused on his mother, but his hand slips back into yours and you take the responsibility of being his anchor in this moment very seriously. You give his hand a light squeeze and he does the same in return.
“I came to see you.” She makes it sound like it’s the most casual thing in the world. As if she’d only come to see her son after a semester away at college, and not a decade and a half after abandoning him.
“How’d you know where to find me?” Eddie asks.
His mother shrugs and lets her eyes run over the exterior of the trailer. “Wayne’s always lived here. I figured it would be the best place to start.”
You hear the breath leave Eddie’s lungs and you’re curious if your mind is on the same track as his. So, she knew his dad had gone to jail and he was being raised by Wayne. And she still never reached out.
“Um, come in, I guess.” Eddie doesn’t sound sure as he backs away from the door. You don’t realize you haven’t made an attempt to move out of her way when Eddie gently tugs your hand so you step back towards him. Internally, you’re screaming at this woman to turn around and leave. But this is Eddie’s decision to make.
She steps inside, hands still moving nervously over the strap of her purse. Reluctantly, you close the door behind her. Eddie motions her over to the couch and she takes a seat, tucking one ankle under the other.
“This is y/n,” Eddie says, as if it just occurred to him that you two had never met. “My girlfriend.”
She nods her head at you and gives you the smallest of smiles. “Hello.”
“Hi,” you respond tersely.
Eddie knows you well enough to know that tone of your voice. He brings you along with him over to the barstools across from the couch and holds you against his side as he perches on one.
“I take it that you’ve heard about me,” his mother says, eyes looking down to her lap.
It feels odd that she’s talking to you instead of her son. You don’t know how to respond so you just give her a nod of the head, which you’re not sure she sees since she’s not looking your way. She must know that anything you’ve heard about her can’t be good. Sure, Eddie told you that she was beautiful and used to sing him to sleep. He’d told you that she liked to take him on walks in the fall and he would always jump in big piles of leaves, which would make her laugh. But any of the kind things he told you were severely overshadowed by her leaving. By not even saying goodbye, just slipping out in the night, leaving a poor young boy to wonder where his mom was when he woke up the next day. To leave him alone with no reason, to think that maybe he did something to make his mommy want to leave.
“Why now?” Eddie asks. “Why come find me now?”
After a deep breath, she looks up to meet Eddie’s eyes. “I’ve wanted to for years. This is just the first time I’ve had the nerve to follow through.”
Eddie lets out a sigh and you can only imagine the questions that are circling his mind. He must be so overwhelmed and all you want to do is pull him into your arms and hug him tight, though it’s far from the appropriate time to do so. You settle for reaching over with your free hand to hold his securely in both of yours.
“How’d you know I was living with Wayne?”
A look of pain crosses his mother’s face, and she furrows her brow. “I heard about Dave- your dad,” she corrects herself. It sounds odd in her voice, as out of practice as she is at referring to her ex-husband as “your dad” to someone. “I knew you would be living with Way-.”
“How’d you know?” Eddie licks over his lips. “How did you know Dad went to prison?”
“Lawyers,” she answers quietly. “We were in the middle of negotiating the terms of our divorce when he was arrested.”
He sighs again and rubs his empty hand across his forehead. His mood has moved from shock and is now turning into anger. You run your thumb over the back of his hand and his shoulders relax a fraction.
“Okay.” Eddie lets out a humorless laugh and drops his hand back to his lap. “I have about twenty other questions but I’m just going to skip to the big one. Why?”
Such a simple question, just one word. But the answer held so much. It had probably run through Eddie’s mind his whole life. He had probably thought of every possible answer to that question, from his mom having to leave because she’s secretly a superhero, all the way to just not wanting to be his mom anymore. You can practically feel Eddie’s heart thrumming through his ribs.
“I was scared,” she says.
“Of what?” Eddie asks without giving his mother the chance to continue.
“Of your dad.”
Eddie’s brow pinches in confusion and his grip on your hand tightens.
“Dad? Why?”
“He wasn’t…always the best to me.” She lets out a deep breath and a lone tear sneaks its way out of her eye. Her eyes dart around the room, as if she can’t bear to look at him as she says this. “I know he never would’ve hurt you; I’m not a total monster. He loved you. And maybe me too, but he didn’t show it.”
“He hit you?” Eddie’s voice is so small it makes your heart crack.
His mother nods, still not able to meet his eyes. “For a while.”
Eddie closes his eyes and his tongue pokes out of the side of his mouth. You watch him, concern etched on your face. As if he can feel your gaze on him, he gently pulls you in front of him and wraps his arms around your waist. His arms rest just below your breasts as you lean back against him, letting him rest his chin on your shoulder. He runs his thumb up and down over your ribs, and you move your arms to settle on top of his.
“You never called.” Eddie’s voice so close to your ear startles you. “Or wrote. Or even let me know that you were okay.”
“I know.” Her voice is shaky, but she finally meets her son’s eyes. “I’m so sorry, Eddie.”
His grip on you tightens as he sucks in a breath. Part of you feels as if they should be having this conversation without you present, but with the way Eddie is clinging to you, you would never dream of trying to excuse yourself. You can’t help but have the bitter thought that you may have taken care of Eddie more than his own mother did. An inner voice tells you that’s not a fair claim, but you make your subconscious shut up and analyze itself at a later time.
“I don’t think sorry cuts it,” Eddie says. It’s not acerbic, but a plain statement.
“I know,” she answers.
“When he was gone.” Eddie sounds as if he’s trying to forge the words together to get to a question. “After Dad was in jail. You could’ve reached out then. Could’ve… Something. Anything.”
“I know,” is all she says again.
Eddie gently moves you to the side of him so he can stand up. He rubs his palms against the thighs of his jeans. His mother is watching him warily, unsure of what he’s going to do. You’re not sure, either.
“So, where are you now? Where’d you find better than this hellhole?”
“Illinois,” she answers quietly. “Just over the border from Indiana.”
Eddie nods to himself, beginning to pace back and forth in front of you. His eyes stay on the floor the whole time.
“Who with?”
More tears begin to fall from his mother’s eyes, and the pain on her face makes you brace yourself for the pain about to come Eddie’s way.
“My husband. A-And…my daughters.”
Eddie freezes on the spot. He slowly turns towards his mother and lifts his head to meet her eyes. The sad exhale that leaves his mouth makes your eyes start to water and you try to blink them away. You’ve got to try and stay as strong as you can in this moment. You don’t want another reason for Eddie to be upset, and he always hated it when you cried.
“I have sisters?” The words all come out in one harsh breath. He sounds disbelieving, and unbelievably hurt.
“Two.” Her voice is watery, and she reaches up the wipe the tears off her cheeks.
Eddie stumbles backwards a step, and you reach forward to grab his shoulders. He lets you guide him back to the barstool and he pulls himself up on it. His eyes are searching the carpet in front of him, scanning back and forth, as if there are some answers to his pain there. You tuck yourself into his side and wrap your arms around his hips. As you gently rub your thumb against his hip bone, Eddie raises his head back up.
“What are their names?” he asks.
“Melissa is six and Jamie is three.” A small smile is on her lips as she speaks, the names of her daughters bringing it out of her. You wonder if she’s smiled whenever she’s said Eddie’s name since she left. If she had ever said it at all.
Eddie nods again and takes a deep breath as he digests the new information. He opens his mouth to speak again when the front door squeals open on hinges that are in desperate need of oiling. Wayne steps in, his tackle box from his fishing trip clutched in his hand. His eyes first find you and Eddie, and he goes to give you a smile before seeing the heartbreaking looks on both of your faces. It leads him to look across from the two of you, gaze landing on Eddie’s mother. She looks at Wayne but keeps glancing away. It’s as if she can’t look at him for long without pain.
“What the hell are you doing here?” Wayne asks. He drops the tacklebox on the floor with a loud clang. It makes his mother jump, and you cling to Eddie just a little bit tighter.
“I came to see my son.”
“What makes you think he wants to see you?” Wayne takes a step towards her, but it’s nonthreatening. You know Wayne enough to know that he would never hit a woman. Even one he disliked as much as his ex-sister-in-law.
“Wayne, please.” Eddie’s voice is so small it makes Wayne look at his nephew in concern. “You know I’ve always wondered.”
Wayne sighs and shrugs out of his denim jacket.
“I know, boy.”
“I, um,” his mother says as she stands up. “I should go. But I have…” She rifles through her purse and pulls out a folded piece of paper. “I didn’t want to hurt you, Eddie. Not back then and not today.” Wayne lets out a huff which everyone in the room ignores. “I’m staying at a hotel for the next two days. The number to my room is right here. Or-Or if you’re not ready to talk that soon, there’s also my home number. I-If you want to talk at all, that is.”
She holds the paper out and Eddie takes it in trembling fingers. He opens it, looks at the numbers, then slips it in his pocket.
“Okay.”
“Wayne.” She nods her head at the man.
“Jaqueline.” His voice is clipped, but it’s the name that catches your attention. In all the years that you’ve known Eddie, and even known about his mom leaving, you realize you never knew her name. It’s pretty, just like her.
She walks over to the front door, which was still open behind Wayne. She steps out onto the porch and turns around to look at Eddie. He’s glancing at her out of the corner of his eye, as if he can’t bring himself to give her his full attention.
“I do love you, Eddie. I always have.” She closes the door behind her and that’s when Eddie cracks.
The dam opens and the tears flow freely. He instinctively turns in to you, burying his face in your neck. You hug him as tightly as you can while his hands grip at your shoulders. The sounds of sniffles and light sobs in your neck cause your tears to level up as well.
Wayne looks angry as he hangs up his jacket. His clenches and unclenches his fists as he walks over to put his tackle box away.
“How long was she here?” Wayne asks you.
“Not long,” you say through a sniffle.
“Too long,” Wayne huffs.
Eddie’s grip slides down your arms and you turn your full attention back to him. You press kisses to the side of his head and rub your hand up and down his back, just letting him get it all out.
Tumblr media
After a silent dinner of pizza and Eddie takes a shower – where you pretend you didn’t hear him sobbing again – you and Eddie snuggle up in his bed. His head rests on the crook of your shoulder and his arm is secured around your waist. His eyes are red and puffy, and you can’t imagine that yours look much better. He nuzzles his nose against your collarbone and lets out a sigh.
“Do you want to talk?”
Eddie was never one to hide his feelings, but you’d learned that sometimes he needed a little nudge when something was deeply bothering him.
“I don’t know,” he says hoarsely.
“I’d ask if you’re okay, but that seems kind of dumb.”
“You’re making it better,” he tells you.
You press a few kisses against his forehead and tighten your grip around him.
“Tell me how to help you and I’ll do it in a heartbeat,” you tell him.
“I know,” he answers.
He sighs against your skin as you reach up to softly play with his curls. It was instinct at this point to play when his hair when he was stressed. It always calms him down.
“What would you do?” he asks you after a few silent minutes.
“Hmm, baby?”
“Would you call?” he asks. “Would you call her?”
You frown and move your head to rest against his. The question had been going through your mind since Eddie went to take a shower. You thought he might ask this, so you wanted to be prepared. But even after pondering it for so long, you didn’t have an answer.
“Honestly? I don’t know, sweetie.”
He nods against you and slides his hands inside of your shirt to feel your warm skin against his palms.
“Do you think I should?”
“Baby, that’s not my decision to make. Only you can do it.”
He sighs and buries his face in the crook of your neck.
“I know,” he mumbles into your hair. “It’d just be easier if someone could do it for me.”
“Listen, I may pick the movie or what’s for dinner sometimes, but this is a little above me.”
He chuckles into your hair and your body relaxes at the sound.
“Only sometimes?” he asks.
“Okay, most of the time,” you admit. After another kiss to his hair you feel you have to speak. “Can I say one thing about it, though?”
He pulls back so he can look you in the eye.
“Of course.”
“I don’t know if you’ll ever want to see her again, let alone meet your sisters.” The words feel so strange in your mouth. His whole life he’d always believed he was an only child, and suddenly he had two siblings. “But if you ever do meet them, remember they’re innocent in all of this. They didn’t do anything.”
His brow furrows as he frowns. “I know that.”
“I know you know,” you say. “I’m not saying you’d ever be mean to them intentionally. Sometimes people can take their feelings out on innocent kids without meaning to. Like she did to you.”
“Look at you,” he says with a small smirk. “You take one psychology class and you’re a fucking genius.”
You laugh and rest your lips against his forehead.
“It’s weird that I have sisters. That might be the weirdest part of this whole day.”
“They’re really missing out,” you tell him. “You’d be the best big brother.”
“You think?”
“Just ask Dustin.”
He smiles and slides his hands higher up your back. You feel him press a kiss to your neck and he lets out a sigh.
“I’m not sure what I’m going to do,” he says.
“That’s okay. You don’t have to decide now. Or tomorrow. Or the next day. Or ever, really. She gave you the option, which is more than you had before. Now it’s up to you if you want to take it or leave it. And either way you choose, I’ll support you all the way.”
“You really are the best,” he says.
“Mm, I know,” you hum. “Do you want me to put on the next Star Wars movie? We can fall asleep to it.”
“No,” he mumbles, hugging you tighter. “Don’t want you to move.”

The Prize of War Masterlist
AN: A little while ago I had someone mention in an ask that they’d love to see something from Kurakh’s perspective. I originally brushed it off, but I got a rush of inspiration to write a short piece. And because this month is so busy for me, I’ve barely had time to make any progress on upcoming chapters. Hopefully this will tide y’all over until I can actually update. While today may be my birthday, this is my little present to y’all. Thank y’all for your support, and I hope you’ll enjoy!
Warning(s): Swearing, Suggestive Language, Angry Kurakh (he deserves his own warning)
A week has passed since the first snow. And whilst beautiful, the cold was a shock to many in the horde. It was becoming more of a struggle to leave the warmth of the furs in the morning. Kurakh didn't know how Odmili did it with ease each morning. Their usual rolls have switched, with her getting up first to put wood into the fireplace before getting ready for the day. Her routine never changed. Starting with her boots, then brushing the knots from her hair before braiding it and hiding it beneath the cap.
Kurakh hated that cap. While it had its purpose, it hid the maid’s best feature. Much like her entire outfit. Designed to hide the personality of the wearer, to diminish their importance despite the skills they possess. The sleeves are long, neckline high, hemline to the ankles, and baggy. Everything she wore was rough to the touch. Purely utilitarian. And she deserved better, even if she thought she didn’t. But despite the habit’s best efforts, Kurakh couldn’t ignore the maid’s beauty. To the point that he struggled with daily tasks.
“You’re not even cutting any wood, you’re just staring,” Eteos grumbles beside him.
“Sorry, just got distracted,” he turns away from her just as she looks at him. Schelura laughed alongside her as they got water from the well across the camp.
“Tends to be happening more and more buddy,” the centaur smirks as he splits another log. “When’s the wedding?”
“Be quiet,” he huffs while putting the split pieces in the cart.
“You’re being a big baby. She obviously likes you back.”
  “You don’t know that.”
“We offered her a room to herself, she refused. Marvi offered to help her make a second bed pad, but she refused. I tried to rescue her and she jumped off my back. She likes you!”
  “I don’t want to rush her…”
“Well you better get a move on before someone else does. I’ve got too many horny, single men in this camp. Who would love nothing more than to be up her skirt.” Kurakh frowned and split a log, trying to ignore it. “Speaking of, here comes one now… Hello Fergal, how’s the leg?”
Kurakh could see the Tiefling out of the corner of his good eye as he chopped, “hello Commander, Warchief.” Nodding to each of them respectively, “it’s fine, just sore, not as bad as the first two days.”
“That’s good. Why don’t you make yourself a little useful and stack the wood neatly in the cart? There’s not much to catch up on, since someone here is distracted,” Eteos teases.
“I’m sure the Warchief has a lot on his mind,” Fergal smiles and begins to straighten the contents of the cart. Kurakh rolls his eyes before chopping more wood. The silence quickly ruined, “Warchief may I ask you something?”
  Kurakh sighs, “go ahead.”
“What is the Maid of Eia like?”
“Why do you want to know?”
“I’ve lived in Evor all of my life, the clergy of any deity is mysterious to the common folk. We only see them on holidays, major life events, or when dying… She’s also very pretty.”
Eteos watches Kurakh carefully, the orc standing at his full height. “She is an honorable woman with many skills, and a great addition to the horde. The rest of my people would agree.”
“She’s nice,” the Tiefling smiles. “Although she’s got quite the mouth on her, I think I can find a better use for it. I know she’s smart and all, but those maids take vows of chastity… I’d be happy to teach her a few things. Not like I’ve done it before, maids are always fun to break in.”
Kurakh grips his axe tighter, “you’ve done it before?”
“Several times, not just Maids of Eia. But they tend to be the most fun, considering they know how everything works down there.” Eteos watches as Kurakh places his axe on the ground, taking a step towards Fergal as his back is turned. “And getting to see what’s under that habit is the best part. They always seem more shapely than the habit lets on. I’m sure she has fat ass underneath that blue mess of fabric.” Fergal turns around, freezing as he realizes how close Kurakh was.
“I’m only going to say this one time, and you will not have a smartass response. I can still reach my axe and you can’t run that well. The Maid of Eia is not a trophy for you to win or a shiny new toy for you to play with. And you will never speak of her in such a way ever again. You will only speak to her only on matters of your health. Do you understand me?
  “Yes sir.”
Kurakh leans in just a tad bit closer, his voice quieter yet just as stern as before. “And don’t even think that you can be sneaky about it either. I’m the one she shares a bed with, and I’m the one who holds her at night. I will find out. One step out of line and I will feed you to my warg, alive. Have I made my intentions clear?”
  “Y-Yes Warchief.”
“Good, now go find someone else you annoy,” Kurakh steps away from him. Just enough for him to move away from the cart. The injured Tiefling limps away with his tail between his legs. The few bystanders quickly acted like they weren’t listening to every word. “So you sort wood while I chop,” the orc lifts his axe with a sigh.
Eteos rolls his eyes, “feeding him to your warg? A bit much, isn’t it?.”
  “Not when it concerns her.”

I could do a scenario where reader loves to mess with megumi's hair, but suddenly she stops because she thinks she's bothering him.
Tumblr media
The first time you notice how soft his hair is was when you were returning to school after a long mission.
You were riding in a car with the entire first-year gang. Nobara sat in the front seat next to Ijichi while you were placed in the back between Yuji and Megumi. The ride back was a long one. After an exhausting day of exorcising curses, you were all tired. Nobara and Yuji ended up falling asleep minutes into the ride, leaving Megumi to watch the sights passing through the window and you shyly trying to make conversation with him.
It's hard considering the strong crush you have on your fellow classmate. He was intelligent, kinder than he really let on, and fairly mature (at least compared to the people you’re usually around). His good looks were the cherry on top of the entire package. Everyone knew Megumi was a pretty boy and often teased him about it. He had fair skin, long, thick eyelashes, and your favorite being his dark hair. It looked so soft whenever your teacher would pat his head, flattening out the black tresses and ruffling them, much to Megumi’s chagrin. But you really wished you could feel as well.
You were the type of person to show your fondness for others through touch. Some people liked it, and some didn’t. For example, Yuji normally had no problem with you touching him, even welcomed it. You weren’t brave enough to ask someone like Megumi for the same sort of relationship, so you kept your hand to yourself when it came to him. At least until Megumi fell asleep, leaning against the car door for support. It’s then you saw your chance and carefully reached to touch one of the longer spikes.
The little black point wavered at your poking, lightly curling around your index finger as you swirled it around. You giggled to yourself about it. It’s thicker and fluffier than you imagined and also incredibly soft, proving Kugisaki’s theory about a ton of hairspray wrong.
Suddenly, a bump in the road cut your touching short, and you quickly jumped away when Megumi’s eyes began to flutter open.
Suspicious, he asked, “What are you doing?”
“Nothing,” you said calmly despite your heart thumping under his gaze, but he dropped his interrogation as you all pulled into the school’s parking lot.
That was three months ago.
Now, the two of you were dating, and you saw that as permission to continue your physical intimacy with your more introverted boyfriend.
“Good morning, guys,” you greet your classmates and teacher with a wave, saving your happier actions for Megumi as your hand immediately goes towards his head to ruffle his hair. You pull your hand away but not before letting your fingers clasp your favorite cowlick. Giving a gentle tug, you let it bounce back into place with a smile.
Megumi groans softly, his mouth pursed into a slight frown as he goes to fix his hair back into its normal disarray.
Gojo claps, bringing your attention towards him. “Well now that everyone’s here, let’s go shopping.”
With that, the five of you head to the shopping district despite the heat bearing down on the city. You spend about an hour walking around before deciding to take a break so Nobara and Gojo can catch their breath in the shade while you return some clothes you bought a few weeks earlier across the street. Megumi and Yuji go to buy all five of you drinks, but it isn’t long before you hear Yuji yelling from outside the store.
“Sensei! Kugisaki! Fushiguro is getting hit on! We have to protect (L/Name)’s relationship!”
Before you could even stop them, they’re already up and running in Fushiguro’s direction. Sighing, you grab your card from the store owner and run to catch up with your group.
When you arrive, Kugisaki and Itadori are already clinging to him and ranting something about being in love with him before Gojo saunters up in his best casual wear to challenge them. You have to stifle back a laugh as he goes on about music practice and homewrecking before the event ends with Megumi smacking Yuji in the head as Nobara and Gojo stalk off, defeated.
Hearing your laughter, Yuji cowers behind you with tearful chibi eyes. “Do you see that, (Name)? Fushiguro is so mean. I was only trying to help him and that's the treatment I get .”
“You didn’t help at all. You were nothing short of embarrassing.”
You giggle at the two before reaching out to your silently fuming boyfriend. “No need to be so grumpy, Megumi-kun, or did Gojo give you too much violin homework,” you sing out teasingly, earning a growl about how it isn’t funny as you playfully scramble his hairstyle.
“And that! Will you stop with that?” Megumi demands and forcefully shoves your hand away. “It’s so annoying. You don’t see me petting you all day like some damn pet.”
“Oh,” you say, stepping back from him in your shock. This is the first time Megumi has brought up how you chose to dote on him. Yes, he’d quietly grumble about it from time to time like most things, but he never yelled at you about how you chose to display your affection. You guess you never really realized how much it truly bothered him. Biting back the hurt in your voice, you apologize. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you upset.”
Megumi grunts softly in response, and Yuji decides it’s probably best to ask Gojo to take you all home for today.
It isn’t long after that Megumi begins to notice your interactions with him starting to change. He apologized for yelling at you soon after the event, but you were still much less touchy with him even after accepting his apology.
Normally, you’d grab onto his hand without so much as asking or surprise him with kisses on his cheek. Now, you only hold his pinky from time to time and only if he asks. You also stop your go-to of rubbing his head when you’d greet him or playing with the ends of his hair when you were bored.
Megumi thought maybe something was bothering you, but then he noticed how you’d still laugh and joke around with Yuji and Nobara, your hand gripping onto their shoulder when they’d tell an extra funny joke or affectionately patting them on the back. That wasn’t the worst though. The worst was when you’d absentmindedly sweep Yuji’s hair back into place when it got messy from training. The jealousy it sparked in Megumi was the last straw that makes him decide to ask you what was wrong.
You’re surprised when he tugs on your sleeve, interrupting your conversation with Itadori and Kugisaki. “Hey, can we talk?”
“Sure,” you say, nodding off to Itadori and Kugisaki before following Megumi to the waterspouts outside. You both sat together on the brick square surrounding the structure. It’s a few quiet seconds of you staring at Megumi as he folds his hands in front of him and lazily taps his foot. Dark blue eyes stare at you before dropping back to the ground.
“Are you still mad at me for yelling at you the other week?”
You shake your head. “I told you it’s fine. I’m not mad at you about that.”
“Then, it’s something else,” he decides, and he desperately tries to rack his brain for what else he could have possibly done wrong, “I’m sure I didn’t forget your birthday or anything. Do you not like me anymore or something?”
Gasping, you deny his claim, “Of course I like you, why would you think I don’t?”
“Because you’re not so friendly with me anymore like the way you are with the others, so either you’re upset with me, or you don’t have the same feelings for me as you do with them.”
“It’s neither of those things. With Yuji and Nobara, they’re both sociable people, but you aren’t like them. You don’t like all that kind of stuff, and I don’t want to annoy you by doing things you don’t like.”
Megumi scowls at your confession, sighing because he remembers exactly why you must be talking like this so suddenly. He specifically called your touches annoying, and he inwardly curses at himself for it. “You’re wrong. It’s not that I don’t like it…” he begins unsurely then pauses.
“Then, what?”
Megumi groans softly, an embarrassed heat starting to build in his cheeks as he quietly croaks out, “Feels good.”
“What’s that?” you ask, scooting closer so you can hear him better.
Megumi blushes lightly and cranks his head to look away from your cutely confused blinking. “It feels good when you do it,” he repeats robotically.
“When I do what?”
“When you play with my hair,” he hesitantly explains in more detail, “When Gojo does it, it’s aggravating, but I don't mind so much with you.”
Hesitantly, you ask, “So is it okay if I do it now?”
Megumi nods. “If you want.”
Cautiously, you lift your hand, pulling back in doubt a few times before ultimately sliding your fingers through his hair and rubbing. Megumi groans softly at your touch, and you realize that all those rushed noises of aggravation were actually him moaning from how light and comforting your touch was. You move your hand forward and backward some more, massaging his head until his head starts nodding and his eyes flutter a bit.
You giggle at him. “Are you falling asleep? You’re such a kid.”
“This is exactly why I didn’t want to tell you.”
You laugh louder as he scoffs to hide his embarrassment.
“In that case, you can sleepover with me tonight, and we can do this if you want,” you offer sweetly, and Megumi glances at you, thinking it over. As your smile grows and your hand hits that sweet spot right at the nape of his neck, he couldn’t deny that he liked the idea of falling asleep with you playing with his hair.
“I’d like that.”

Five years from now, Kara is going to reach across the table at Noonan's and take her hand. She's going to look deep into Lena's eyes, biting her lip as her thumb rubs gentle circles into Lena's palm, and her voice will barely rise above a whisper when she asks, “When did you know?”
And when she does, five years from now, Lena will think back to this moment.
This moment, which is as close as Lena's come to happiness since she'd woken up ziptied to a chair in her brother's office. This moment which, despite the fuzzy feeling of her unbrushed teeth and the pungent aroma of burnt toast filling the air, is perfect.
Kara, bed-warm and sleep-heavy, is gazing beseechingly down at the charred remains of a slice of a bread as though if she only pouts hard enough, its edges will un-blacken and its corners will stop smoking.
“I'm so sorry,” she says as Lena rounds the screen separating Kara's bedroom from the rest of the apartment and perches herself on a barstool, tugging her borrowed sleep shorts a little lower down her thighs.
Kara's tone is mournful, her face so forlorn she looks to be one deep breath away from tears. “I wanted breakfast to be perfect, since it's your first time staying over and if it's terrible you might not want to stay again and I, I really want you to stay again, but I don't know why you would since you probably have a private chef waiting for you at home and I can’t even manage toast—”
“Kara,” Lena interrupts, biting at the inside of her cheek to keep from laughing as Kara's bottom lip trembles. “It's fine, really. I once set fire to my dorm kitchen trying to boil an egg. And besides,” she winks as blue eyes meet hers. “I like to give my personal chef the weekends off.”
Kara huffs out a relieved chuckle, her face brightening. “Oh, well, in that case,” she grins, a sparkle returning to her eyes. “I'd better feed you up before you go home. Never let it be said that I don't look after you.”
Lena can't help the smile that pulls at her as the warm bright feeling in her chest grows and grows. She tugs the sleeves of Kara's sweatshirt over her hands, fighting the urge to fidget as the blonde orders a frankly obscene amount of food from the brunch place on the corner.
She feels exposed like this, face bare and hair sleep-mussed, unshowered with unbrushed teeth, huddled inside borrowed clothes after the impromptu invitation to stay over when last night's movie marathon ran late. It's a far cry from the regimented composure she fights so hard every day to project, and something in her chest twists anxiously.
Kara is a reporter, after all, and National City really doesn't need any more reasons to hate Lena right now. The darkest corner of her mind – the one which has been waiting for the other shoe to drop, for everything to come crashing down ever since the whirlwind of Kara's too-good-to-be-true friendship had come blazing into her life – still worries that this may all be an elaborate ruse. A trap, a way to get close to her in order to assess her weaknesses, to bring her down with an inside scoop.
But in their six months of friendship, Kara's never given her any reason to believe she has any kind of ulterior motive. And despite the suspicions and anxieties hammered into her by a lifetime of hurt, Lena knows now that even if this is a trap, she'll take the bait willingly. Especially if it means Kara will keep looking at her like there might just be something in Lena that's worth her time.
"Hey,” the blonde says gently, leaning back against the counter opposite and pinning Lena with a searching look. “You okay? You kind of zoned out on me there.”
Lena jumps, blinking back into herself with a start. “Yes, sorry. I was miles away.”
The blonde only smiles, flicking on the coffee machine at her elbow. “You sleep okay?”
“Very well, thank you,” Lena answers, fighting to lessen the formality of her tone, to soften the edges her harsh childhood had sharpened into a fortress to keep the world at bay. “Your bed is surprisingly comfortable. I had a great night's sleep.”
"Perhaps the company had something to do with it,” Kara winks as she turns to pull two mugs down from the hooks at her shoulder. Lena thinks back to the smell of Kara's sheets and the soft pulls of her breathing, to the warmth of Kara's ankle against her calf and the strong fingers that had wrapped themselves in the sleeve of Lena's sweatshirt in sleep, anchoring them together. She blushes.
Kara only smirks, pouring their drinks and grabbing the milk from the fridge. “Well, the food's all ordered, it should be here soon,” she says over her shoulder, the waterfall of her golden ponytail mesmerising in the bright rays of morning light filtering in through the vaulted windows. “And you don't need to head off in a hurry, unless you have plans—?”
She glances back at Lena, who shakes her head. “Great!” she grins. “’Cause I was thinking, maybe we could check out the botanical gardens, since it's such a nice day? Oh, and there's a new bakery right across the street that I've been dying to try—”
Lena listens to the blonde's excited rambling with an endeared smile plastered to her face, feeling happy and warm and wanted with every fibre of her being. The feeling is new but so welcome she could cry, and Lena wonders – not for the first time – how she ever got so lucky.
Kara's presence in her life is like sugar in her coffee; meant only to sweeten that which has always been bitter.
Lena's always taken her coffee black. Softening the blow was never much her style.
But here, now, perched at Kara's breakfast bar with her hands wrapped around a steaming mug the blonde has brewed to perfection, sunlight streaming in and highlighting the angles and planes of Kara's face, the way she’s smiling at Lena like there's nowhere else in the world she'd rather be, she realises her reasoning is twofold.
Sugar isn't just appetising. It's addictive. And now that Lena's had a taste of sweetness, she's hooked.
In this moment, Lena knows. She's in love.
-
Four years from now, Kara is going to reach across the table at Noonan's and take her hand. She's going to look deep into Lena's eyes, biting her lip as her thumb rubs gentle circles into Lena's palm, and her voice will barely rise above a whisper when she asks, “When did you know?”
And when she does, four years from now, Lena will also think back to this moment.
This moment, which may well be one of the lowest of Lena's life. And she's had some doozies.
The two bottles of wine she'd managed to mainline between Sam leaving to orchestrate damage control at L-Corp and Kara arriving and attempting to confiscate her glass have well and truly caught up to her now. She sways heavily on her stool, the room spinning. Tears sting her vision and guilt scorches her throat as she presses a hand over her eyes so she won't have to look at Kara's face anymore.
“Please, just— just, stop believing in me, okay?” she slurs, heart full to shattering with the faces of lead-poisoned children. “I am not worth it.”
She hears Kara sigh, and the room falls silent for a long long time. Lena drops her head fully into her hands, fighting the nausea that's taken root in the pit of her stomach. It could be the booze that's causing it, of course, but it could also be the incessant headlines baying for her blood, the bullet James had taken for her that she'd fully deserved, the curse of her family finally fulfilling itself.
The guilt, the worry, the crushing disappointment of the knowledge that despite her very best efforts, she'll never be anything but a monster— it's too much to feel. It's too much to bear.
So, Lena drinks.
She drains her glass. She pours another. Kara watches, silent and disapproving, fingers twitching against the granite countertop between them.
Lena finishes her glass. Splashes the last dregs of the bottle into it, blood on ice. Still Kara watches, motionless and mute. It's only when Lena's swallowed the last of the red and is lurching unsteadily to her feet to source another that she moves, a hand reaching out to encircle her wrist.
Shame ignites beneath her skin and she pushes Kara away. Snaps at her to go home, to learn to recognise a lost cause when she sees one and just give up already. Kara refuses with a stoic shake of her head, and Lena sighs.
They repeat the same routine three times en route to Sam's wine rack, the blonde shadowing her every step. Each time, Lena wobbles, head fuzzy and room spinning. Each time, Kara steadies her, and Lena flinches from her touch like her palm is a brand, snarls at her to leave, to cut her losses, to just fuck off. Each time, Kara refuses.
She eventually retrieves the wine after a number of unsuccessful attempts but overbalances on her toes, bottle slipping from her grip as she sways dangerously. And then Kara is there, glass bottle caught a split second before it can shatter, a firm arm at her waist that will not be rebuffed.
Lena struggles, shoving and protesting, but this time Kara does not give in. “Enough,” she says quietly, firmly, blue eyes burning a mere inch from Lena's own. “Lena, enough.”
Lena's unsteady legs buckle further and Kara’s basically holding her up now, walking her slowly over to the couch and she shouldn't be this strong, surely, shouldn't be lifting Lena onto the cushions quite this easily. But it's such a minor concern when weighted against the fact that Lena is personally responsible for the hospitalisation of children that her mind brushes over it, forgets it immediately.
"Please go home,” she slurs as the blonde arranges her on the couch, as she stashes the unopened wine far out of reach and sets about finding blankets and pillows in various cupboards. “Please, just— leave me alone.”
“No,” Kara says, almost snaps, glancing back over her shoulder. Partially hidden in the linen cupboard, her face is cast deep in shadow, a splinter of half-concealed truth. “I made you a promise, I gave you my word. I'm your friend, and I will protect you. Always.”
She crosses back to the couch, soft blankets and pillows held out in invitation. When Lena refuses the offering Kara sighs, draping a knitted throw over her anyway and perching on the cushions beside Lena's hip. “I'm not going to leave you, so you might as well stop asking,” she hums, softer now, a hand reaching toward her that Lena no longer possesses the strength or coordination to bat away.
Long fingers make contact with her cheek, with the mussed curls tangling in her eyelashes, and Kara sighs. “You are not your brother,” she murmurs, fingertips grazing Lena's cheekbone, sliding back to thread into the fine hair at her temple. “And you never will be. There's too much light in you to allow for that kind of darkness, so put that fear down, Lena. Let it go. Be free of it.”
Tears spring unbidden to her eyes. “I poisoned children.”
Kara tilts forward and Lena wonders if it's just that her vision has upped its spinning, but then warm lips are pressing against her forehead, soft and delicate as gossamer wings. Kara's mouth moves against her skin, breath damp and sweet and unmistakeably her. “You saved the world.”
Neither one of them moves. When Lena speaks again, the words hit the elegant hollow of Kara's throat. “I don't deserve your kindness. I don't deserve you.”
Kara's lips are still on her forehead. “I don't care.”
Lena feels as if her throat is splitting open, every last fear and hatred and worry and insecurity gushing out of her in an unstoppable stream. “I'm scared.”
“I know.” Kara's lips press once more, and then withdraw. They watch each other in the dim light from the kitchen. Lena's vision is beginning to blur at the edges. Kara's hand is still in her hair.
“You will get through this,” the blonde whispers, so earnest Lena almost manages to believe her. “We'll figure it out. Together.”
Heart in her mouth, tongue sticking behind her teeth, Lena's eyes slide closed.
The sweetness of Kara's words, her gentle touches, seep inside her like honey. She doesn't deserve it but God, she wants it. She wants to be worthy of Kara's faith in her more than she's ever wanted anything in her life. She wants Kara more than she's ever wanted anything in her life.
And it's telling, she knows, that she's just lost the trust of all of National City, that she has no way of easing those children's suffering and no way to prove that she isn't the cause of it, that she's finally living up to the Luthor name she's been running from ever since she'd learned what it truly meant and yet in this moment, with Kara's hand in her hair and the ghostly imprint of her lips on Lena's skin, none of it seems to matter.
In this moment, Lena knows. She's in love.
-
Three years from now, Kara is going to reach across the table at Noonan's and take her hand. She's going to look deep into Lena's eyes, biting her lip as her thumb rubs gentle circles into Lena's palm, and her voice will barely rise above a whisper when she asks, “When did you know?”
And when she does, three years from now, Lena will also think back to this moment.
This moment, which stands alone as an oasis of calm in the turbulent tumult of the past days, weeks, months of chaos. Lex's escape from custody, Eve Teschmacher's betrayal, James’ shooting, the Harun-El serum, the whole shitty totality of it all has been weighing Lena down like an nth metal chain around her neck.
And Kara, Kara hasn't been around. The one person who has always managed to ease Lena's suffering has deserted her when she needs her the most and it feels like she's been sliced open, cracked in two.
She tells her as much, when Kara at last comes to see her. Tells her she's missed her, tells her she needs her, all but begs her to stay. And what does Kara do? She leaves.
And when she leaves, Lena is gripped by a panic so intense she fears she may never breathe freely again. So terrified is she that Kara is gone for good, that she's forced away the best thing that's ever happened to her, that almost before she knows what's happening she finds herself at Catco with apologies dripping from her own tongue.
Anything to get Kara back. Anything to keep her.
Lena apologises. Kara apologises. Lena cries, and Kara holds her, and tells her that the decision to help her brother when he was dying of cancer doesn't make her the monster she now believes herself to be. And standing on her office balcony with Kara's fingers wrapped around her biceps, with her own tears spotting dark on Kara's blazer, Lena manages to believe her.
When she's collected herself, smoothed away the wetness coursing down her cheeks, she speaks. “I really want to help you with your investigation on Lex.”
Kara's face lights up; Lena's whole world along with it.
“I'd love that,” Kara says, voice quiet and still a little tentative in the wake of their new truce. “But first— would you, um. Would you like to have lunch with me?”
Lena blinks. “Don't you want to get started on the exposé?”
“I do. But—” Kara's face is still painted that earnest shade from earlier, when she'd smoothed her hands over Lena's shoulders and whispered you are a brilliant, kind-hearted, beautiful soul against the sensitive skin of her neck. Lena feels her cheeks heat up at the memory, at the intensity in the blue eyes still roving her face.
Kara shuffles her feet but her gaze is clear, unwavering. “But you were right. I've spent too much time recently prioritising the wrong things. So, I want to work on this exposé with you, and I want to bring your brother down. But first, I'd really just like to have lunch with my best friend.”
Lena's heart trips in her chest. “I'd like that too.”
So, that's what they do. Kara asks her to wait, which she does, idly tapping out a few emails on her phone. And then the blonde is back, far quicker than should have been possible, with her arms full of takeout bags from the café on the third floor and she's taking Lena by the hand and leading her to Cat Grant's private elevator. She presses the button for the roof and Lena's gaze jumps to her face but Kara only smiles, and squeezes her fingers. “Trust me, it'll be worth it,” she hums, her excitement infectious. “You'll be safe with me.”
And Lena believes her.
That's how she ends up sitting at the edge of Catco's roof on a clean sheet Kara had borrowed from the builders on the second floor, heels kicked off, Kara's red blazer draped around her shoulders. It is worth it, she'll admit; the view from this high is phenomenal. The sun burns bright in a cloudless sky, glinting off the glass-sided skyscrapers of the business district, the glittering waters of the bay beyond.
Kara had picked up Lena's favourite salad, some flatbreads and dips, and they drink kombucha and eat strawberries in the sunshine. They talk and they laugh and they catch up and there's no more fighting, no animosity, no megalomaniac brothers or backstabbing secretaries or worlds needing to be saved. There's only them, she and Kara, and it feels like all she will ever need.
The blonde's hands are braced behind her on the rooftop and she looks happy and carefree as she regales Lena with stories of her upstairs neighbour's antics, and Lena feels the tight knot of tension that had taken up residence in her chest begin to unfurl.
"Hey,” Kara hums, pushing up straighter as Lena licks strawberry juice from her fingertips. The motion brings them closer, their shoulders brushing. “Look up.”
Lena does. High above them, a huge murmuration of starlings whirls and swoops through the air. Thousands of birds move together as one, a vast wave cresting but never breaking against the blue canvass of sky.
“Wow,” Lena gasps, awed.
Against her side, Kara hums. “Yeah.”
They watch the birds for a long moment, captivated by the ceaseless swirling and diving. When Lena at last tears her gaze away from the sky, Kara's eyes rest intently on her face. "Here,” the blonde murmurs, reaching out. The pad of one finger makes feather-light contact with her cheek. Lena's breath catches in her chest.
Kara holds out her finger, proffering the stray eyelash she'd captured with a smile. "Make a wish,” she whispers, her fingertip an inch from Lena's mouth. Her eyes never leave Lena’s.
Lena looks from Kara's face to the eyelash, and back again. From somewhere deep inside her heart, the truth bubbles its way to the surface. “I don't need to.”
Kara smiles, a brilliant, beautiful smile, and Lena knows. The stresses and anxieties of their current crisis feel far away here, harmless as birdsong. She's meted out forgiveness, received it in return. For the first time in her adult life Lena has communicated an issue with a loved one and been heard, understood. She has admitted her own mistake without having it spell out the end of her relationship.
Lena smiles back. The weight of the world sublimates into nothing beneath the bliss of a simple picnic in the sun.
In this moment, Lena knows. She's in love.
-
Two years from now, Kara is going to reach across the table at Noonan's and take her hand. She's going to look deep into Lena's eyes, biting her lip as her thumb rubs gentle circles into Lena's palm, and her voice will barely rise above a whisper when she asks, “When did you know?”
And when she does, two years from now, Lena will think back to this moment.
This moment, which has sapped the both of them to the bone. Another fight, another screaming match, another quick-fire back and forth of accusations and recriminations. Another night of cursing and crying and choking on all the things they never said before this, on all the things they can't now that Kara's secret has detonated in the shrinking space between them like a nuclear bomb.
Another round of bloodshed, and for what?
Lena sags against the arm of the couch, exhausted. Her face is hot, scratchy with salt from the tears still drying on her skin. She's dehydrated, probably, and half hoarse from shouting, tongue blistered with the bitter sting of betrayal.
Across the no man's land of her living room, Kara slumps against the floor-length windows, drops her temple to the cool glass. She's breathing heavily, cheeks wet, posture battered and eyes dark-bruised beneath the force of Lena's wrath. As Lena watches, her eyes slide closed.
It's been three months since Lena found out. Three weeks since Kara found out that Lena had found out.
Every night since, they've done this. Every night, Kara has shown up on her balcony and begged, pleaded, apologised, cajoled, defended, rebuffed, and sobbed. Every night, Lena has unleashed the hollow agony of Kara's deception masquerading as anger in her chest, incinerating the both of them in the fires of her desolation.
She would have expected the wounds to have cauterised by now. To feel some kind of release, the relief of catharsis. Or at least, to have expended some of her fury after all this time.
She hasn't.
They've been at this for three hours already this evening, and gotten nowhere. Kara's skin is pale above that fucking supersuit, face drawn and complexion sallow.
Lena knows how she feels. The singular exhaustion that is her rift with Kara has sapped her in every way imaginable. She can't sleep. She barely eats. She's no longer interested in work, research, friends. There's nothing in her life that isn't tainted by the shadow of the lies her best friend told and kept telling, every day for four years. Lena doesn't know how any amount of screaming and crying is ever going to get them past that.
Across the room, Kara sighs. It might be the saddest sound Lena has ever heard.
“Should we keep doing this?” she asks after an interminable silence, voice rough with tears still building. Her eyes are still closed.
Lena manages, with exorbitant effort, to raise her drooping head. “What?”
“Is there a point to all this?” Kara asks quietly, hunched body sliding a little further down the glass. "The explanations, the fighting?”
Blue eyes blink open. The weight of the sadness in them is unbearable. Lena struggles to find it within herself to care.
“Lying to you about who I am is the single biggest mistake I have ever made, and if it will make even one single shred of difference I will apologise to you every day for as long as I live,” Kara says into the aching chasm between them. “But I can't keep doing this. Not if it won't change anything. I can't— I don't want to keep hurting you.”
An hour ago, Lena would have scoffed at a sentiment like that. Would have parried back with some piercingly dry comment about how the blonde should have thought about that before she decided to betray Lena's trust as soundly as she possibly could.
Now, though— now, she's just too tired.
“So, should we keep doing this?” Kara whispers, throat working. “Or— God, Lena. Should we just— should we give up?”
Green eyes meet blue, two shattered hearts haemorrhaging between them. “Is that what you want?”
“No.” Kara's voice is loud, fiercely determined in the face of Lena's hesitant whisper. “God, no. Never. I don't ever want to give up on you, Lena. I don't ever want to give you up.”
Kara straightens then, with a strength Lena cannot imagine mustering herself. Perks of being a superhero, she supposes. Perks of being Kryptonian. The thought stakes another shard of ice through her bleeding heart.
“But I know that I've spent four years calling the shots for both of us by keeping you in the dark,” Kara continues. “I've taken away your agency. I've taken away your choice. I won't do that again.”
She sucks in a deep breath, a little of Supergirl's regality seeping back into the defeated slump of her shoulders. “So, I'm doing what I should have done from the start. I'm being honest with you, and hoping that you'll be honest back. I'm asking what you want.”
Kara's fingers twist anxiously before her, bottom lip bleaching white beneath the nervous pressure of her teeth. “Do you think we should keep doing this? Or do you— fuck.” Her voice cracks, the tears brimming in her eyes once again breaking free. “Do you want to give up?”
Jesus Christ. Lena never knew that the prospect of doing the right thing could hurt so much.
“Fuck,” she mutters as she kneads her knuckles over her closed eyelids, digging in until white lights starburst across her vision. “Fuck, Kara.”
“I know,” the blonde whispers from across the room, brittle and broken. “I know. I'm sorry.”
Lena slows her assault on her own eyelids, pinching thumb and forefinger hard at the bridge of her nose instead. “I want to give up,” she mutters, and in the taut silence between them she hears the blonde gasp, watery and thick.
Lena blinks open her eyes to find Kara's face crumpling, every facet of her seeming to fold in on itself even as she visibly fights to keep herself upright.
Lena sighs, and hates Kara, and hates herself even more. “I want to, but— I can't.” She sucks in a ragged breath, hating the truth that's just fallen from her lips, hating the lies that had necessitated it. Hating everything and everyone and most of all, hating just how much she's hurting. “I can't give this up.”
The tiniest spark of hope flares to life in Kara's eyes. Lena hates that she notices, hates that she cares, hates that the sight eases the tight knot of devastation clawing at her ribcage just the tiniest bit.
She also knows that this was inevitable. She knows that, though she hates Kara, though she's nowhere close to forgiving her, though she has no idea how they can rebuild from here or even if she truly wants to try, a question like Kara's could only ever have one answer.
In this moment, Lena knows. She's in love.
-
One year from now, Kara is going to reach across the table at Noonan's and take her hand. She's going to look deep into Lena's eyes, biting her lip as her thumb rubs gentle circles into Lena's palm, and her voice will barely rise above a whisper when she asks, “When did you know?”
And when she does, one year from now, Lena will also think back to this moment.
This moment, which is barely even a moment at all. It's more like a dream, warm and faded and fogged in darkness, seconds stolen when sleep should have long since claimed them.
Kara's nightmare had woken them both. In the month since they'd pulled her out of the Phantom Zone, she hadn't slept alone once. Often, she stays with Alex, curling into her sister's side the way she would when they were just kids after one too many late-night horror movies. Once, she stays with Nia, tucked up snug in a borrowed pair of puppy print pyjamas.
Mostly, she stays with Lena. It's natural and unspoken and easy as breathing, the way Kara will show up at her place after a Supergirl save or Lena will let herself into the blonde's apartment after a late night in the lab. They cook dinner and watch Celebrity Masterchef and brush their teeth elbow to elbow at the bathroom sink and when Kara is inevitably tugged screaming and sobbing from her night terrors, the way she presses her face to Lena's neck and her hand over Lena's heart is natural and unspoken and easy as breathing, too.
Kara's racing pulse has calmed a little, her grip on Lena's body beneath her losing some of its urgent desperation. After a long moment of Lena's hand stroking her hair, of gentle reassurances and lips pressed to her temple the blonde pulls back, just enough to rest her head on the pillow facing her.
In the dim light filtering in through the bedroom window Kara's pupils are blown, her face solemn. There's something in her heavy gaze that Lena can't identify; something weighted and potent that prickles goosebumps up the length of her spine.
"Feeling better?” she whispers into the inch of warm air between them, reaching out to tuck a sweat-matted curl reverently behind the blonde's ear.
Kara catches her retreating hand and holds tight, twining their fingers together on the narrow swathe of pillow between them. If either of them were to move so much as a millimetre, their clasped hands would press against their lips.
The blonde nods and sure enough, the soft heat of her mouth brushes the back of Lena's knuckles. She shivers.
Kara is still watching her, the intensity of her gaze causing Lena's heart to thud hard in her throat. She squeezes lightly at the fingers threaded through her own. “What?”
A pause, heavy and sweet as overripe fruit. Kara blinks once, slow. “You're my best friend.”
Lena swallows down a sudden swell of emotion. The blonde nudges closer and when she speaks, the wet seam of her lips catches on the angle of Lena's bent knuckles, painting her skin with the words.
“You're the most important person in the world to me,” Kara whispers, breaths skating fire-flashes across Lena's fingers, voice muffling out past the mouth pressed to her skin. “You know that, right?”
Lena's voice deserts her in the wake of the quiet words. She leans forward instead, presses her lips to Kara's fingertips where they rest against the back of her own hand. It's answer enough.
She hears Kara's breath catch, feels the disruption mirrored in her own chest. Both their mouths are pressed to the joined hands clasped between them. If they were to move their fingers down even just a fraction, there would be nothing separating their lips but a promise, a prayer.
Kara's eyelashes flutter in the semi-darkness. The tip of her nose brushes Lena's own. Neither one of them moves their hands.
They only gaze at one another a long moment, and Lena wonders if the blonde is memorising the planes of her face the way she's memorising Kara's. She could look at her forever, be happy here with her forever, and in this moment, Lena knows. She's in love.
For the first time, she wonders if she might not be the only one.
-
Right now, Kara is reaching across the table at Noonan's and taking Lena's hand.
It's been three weeks since they'd taken down Lex for the last time. Three weeks since Kara had stormed into the Tower's med bay to cup Lena's bloody, bruised face in her hands; since she'd brushed her thumbs feather-light over Lena's split eyebrow and purpling jaw and growled don't you ever scare me like that again. Three weeks since she'd leaned in and pressed her lips to Lena's.
It's been two weeks and six days since Lena, confined to a gurney but utterly uncaring thanks to the warm Kryptonian curled against her side, had pressed her aching face to Kara's shoulder and first whispered that she loved her. Two weeks and six days since Kara had first said it back.
It's been two weeks and five and a half days since Nia had walked in on Lena in Kara's arms, lips pressed to her neck and hands wandering beneath her sweatshirt, and promptly shrieked the place down. Since their friends had exchanged pointed glances and relieved sighs and congratulated them on finally making it official, their expressions ranging from overjoyed to exasperated to plain exhausted.
It's been two weeks and four days of she and Kara dating; of morning kisses and shared showers and the perfect partner at game night and all of Lena's wildest dreams coming true.
It's been less than a minute since Kara had admitted, hushed and wondering, that she'd known she was in love with Lena ever since she'd found herself suddenly prepared to poison National City's entire water supply rather than let Lena fall. That she hadn't been able to fully it admit it to herself until she'd found herself suddenly prepared to alter the course of all of history in order to get Lena back.
And right now, Kara is reaching across the table at Noonan's and taking her hand. She's looking deep into Lena's eyes, biting her lip as her thumb rubs gentle circles into Lena's palm, and her voice barely rises above a whisper when she asks, “When did you know?”
And now that she has, Lena is sure of her answer.
The highlight reel of her relationship with Kara lays itself at Lena's feet, each precious memory between them stretching out like a roadmap of her growing affection, with every hard-won step leading her right to this moment.
And in this moment, Lena knows. She's in love with Kara. Really, she always has been.

Delinquent Princess
Couldn’t stop thinking about the Haikyuu x delinquent!reader or more Haikyuu x Tokyo Revenger cross over.
Kuroo x fem!reader, mentioned Baji x fem!reader. Some spoilers for Kuroo career post time skip and how I want Tokyo revengers time skip to look like but probably won't happen
Tumblr media
“Hey lev, have you heard we getting a new girl,” Inuoka said appearing in front of the self-proclaimed ace’s desk,” This late? It’s already past Halloween” Inuoka shrugged,” Apparently an incident happened with a classmate of hers which made her parents transfer school for her” Shibayama said,” Must be serious if she transfers this late in the semester” Lev said opening his book.
“Don’t worry y/n is in good hands here” the Principle said to your parents as you played with your rings,” Y/N is so smart but she seems to always find the wrong friends” your dad said softly, you shot him a glare,” Don’t worry Mr L/N, we don’t have a sense of delinquency in this school. Your daughter will be surrounded by good role models, may I suggest entering a club? The volleyball team is looking for a manager” the principal said looking at you with a nervous,” Not interested” you hissed,” Y/N” your mom scolded,” I’m already doing martial arts with Mikey-“,” This school probably has a martial arts club, right” your mom looks at the principal who nodded quickly,” I don’t want to go this martial arts club, I want to stay with Mikey’s family dojo, they at least know what they are talking about”,” Mikey, is a bad influence. You saw what happened to Baji, you saw how distraught his mother was at his funeral, I don't want to be your next” you didn’t answer but just sat back and folded your arms, tears started to pool in your eyes. “I’m sorry Princess, I’m sorry I couldn’t marry you” Bali’s dying words echoed in your head,” Isn't class starting soon? Don’t want to start on a bad foot” you said wiping away a tear,” Yes, of course, follow me”.
Lev’s class was currently studying English when you walked in with the Principal. Muttering erupted in class the second they set eyes on you, “That must be the new girl” Inuoka whispered to Lev who looked you up and down, your skirt was short, shorter than the average skirt worn in school, and your sleeves jumper was baggy nearly as long as your skirt and the white dress shirt was peaking from underneath the jumper as well, sleeves where messy rolled up. Rings and bracelets adorned your fingers and wrist, with a blond streak peaking from behind your ear which was also pierced, everything about you spoke delinquent,” You must be y/n?” the teacher said,” Yep, where can I sit?” you asked,” Do you want to introduce yourself to the class?”,” I’m Y/N L/N. I’m from Shibuya” you said before wandering to a random free seat, a seat which happens to be beside Lev.” Hey I’m Lev Haiba” he introduced himself,” Hey” you said playing with your helix piercing, he slightly reminded you of Chifuyu most due to the eyes” Are there any clubs you looking into joining?” he asked,” No, well I thought of joining the martial arts club but nothing can beat Mikey’s dojo” you smiled twirling your ring on your index finger,” Mikey?” he asked curiously, slightly hoping he isn't your boyfriend,” He’s one of my best friends since childhood. All of them are in Shibuya” you said,” Well if you need new friends, why don't join our Volleyball club, we need a manager”,” Not, interested-”,” Come on, just once practice. Please, I even carry your bags to the train station later” he begged,” Yamamoto will freak, come you will make us seem like heros to our upper classman” the spikey headed brunette said,” Oh I’m Inuoka, by the way” he introduced,” And I’m Shibayama” a small dark haired boy said,”Boy’s quite, you can chit-chat later” the teacher scolded.
How did the first day of school go? Chifuyu’s text read, Fine, not the same with the gang you texted back, you sighed and stuffed your phone in your pocket, just at the moment when your new classmates walked up to you,” I like your piercings by the way” Shibayama said,” Thanks, some of them my friends pierced” you laughed,” I wish I could pierce my ears but my mom would kill me” Lev said,” My parents didn't want to be pierced as well but there are my ears and I have to live with the mistakes and not them, just to do it. I can pierce them if you want” you offered,” Will it hurt?”,” A piece of metal will pierce your skin... yeah but only for a short while” you said,” Let me think about it” he said rubbing his neck.
“There you are, where- who are you?” a tall dark-haired male said, “Kuroo, this y/n, she new to our class and we convinced her to be our manager”,” I said I see about being your manager, I didn't promise anything yet,” you said,” A shame, but hopefully we can conceive you by end of practice,” Kuroo said, his messy dark hair, to his brown cat-like eyes and cheeky smile all reminded you of Baji,” A girl” a voice shrieked,” Good observation Yamamoto” Kuroo teased,” Why are we blessed with such a sight,” the mohawk said with tears of happiness in his eyes,” Don’t worry about him, he’s harmless,” Kuroo said,” Let me introduce you to the others”.
“So you live in Shibuya?” Kuroo asked as you walked towards the train station together behind you, was Lev who liked he promised carried your bags with him,” I hoped she by my girlfriend and Kurd’s by the end of the day” he pouted while Kenya’s face was stuck in his video game.” Yep” you answered,” Why go to Nekoma than? I assume Shibuya has more than I school”,” It’s more the people my parents want to me to get away from than the lack of schools” you answered peaking Kurd’s curiosity,” Can I ask why?”, you licked your lips, debating to answer honestly or not,” Someone close to me got hurt and my parents don't want me to be the next one hurt, that’s it” you shrugged, Kuroo nodded, he wanted to know more but didn't press on as he could see it on your face that it was a touchy subject for you,” Well, did we conceive you? Will you be our manager?” Kuroo asked instead,” You seem like a crazy bunch but nothing I can't handle, so sure why not” you smiled.
The next couple of weeks went good, that was until on your way to the train station, with Lev, Kuroo, Yaku, Yamamoto, Kenma and Kai when you were stopped by a larger group of boys,” Who do we have here? Volleyball freaks” their presumed leader said, his face was scared and he smelled of smoke,” Leave us alone, we don't want any trouble” Kuroo said pushing past the guy but the leader wasn't having it,” But you're passing through our region which means you need to pay up, let’s say 5,000 yen for each person” he said putting his hand on Kuroo shoulder, he was the same height as Kuroo but he seemed more muscular than Kuroo, which makes sense if spends most of his time beating up people on the street,” We won’t pay, it’s stupid. Now let us pass, we are late for our train” Kuroo said firmly,” We weren't asking though” the guy spat,” You wanna fight big guy, let’s do it” Yamamoto said but you grabbed him by the arm,” Don’t be suicidal, he can fold. you in have if he wants to” that made the guy focus snap towards you, but before he could take a good look at you Kuroo stepped in front of his field of vision,” We don’t want any trouble-”,” Too late for that, your little friend wants a fight so he can get one” the leader was handed a led pipe from one of his followers,” Who wants to go first, maybe you pretty boy” he said lifting the pipe ready to hit Kuroo with him but before he could you kicked him in the stomach making him drop the pipe and clutch his stomach, you then kicked him in the back of his neck making his face fall into the concrete,” You stupid bitch-”, he stopped mid sentencing when he saw your face,” Fuck, it’s Y/N L/N from Toman” he said,” Exactly, now fuck of and leave me and my friends alone of I break your face next time. Got it” you hissed making the boy nod and he quickly scrambled from the floor and ran away with the other,” Toman?” Kuroo asked stunned, the other from the team looked shocked and slightly scared,” I explain on the way to the train station”.
“Toman started off as just a couple of friends wanting to protect one another. None of us had good lives, some worse than others. Toman was a little fond family for us. It went well, but then Mikey’s brother was killed by Kazutora and Baji as his accomplice. Both went to juvie, Kazutora longer than Baji. Since then Mikey became more violent, but also more childish. Toman grew as well during that time and so did our enemies. We didn't do anything criminal....criminal against non-gang people. But recently everything went downhill, Pat went to juvie, Draken got stabbed but thankfully survived. Kisaki joining, and Baji...Baji was the straw that broke the camel's back. My parents didn't say anything about the gang world, but Baji changed everything for them” you said,” What happened to Baji, is he the person who got hurt?” Yaku asked,” It was Halloween, Baji joined Vallhalla days before and we wanted him back, Baji would never betray Toman, betray me,” you said softly,” He got stabbed and later died of a self-inflicted stab wound to the stomach. Kazutora is back in juvie, 10 years for attempted murder if Baji didn't give himself the final blow he would have gotten double that or even life. But at least he’s alive, but only thanks to Takamitchy our resident cry baby, he’s a bit strange but a really good guy, properly better than I ever be” silence filled the group, no one knew what to say,” If you don't want me to part of the Volleyball club anymore, it’s fine. But please don’t tell your parents what happened, as they will tell the principal and he would tell my parents which means changing school again” you begged. Kuroo looked at his teammates, who have the same expression on their faces,” We don’t want to kick you off, you saved us a beating. We really enjoy your company, as well” Kuroo said blushing slightly making his teammates smirk,” I would also like... we like to meet your friends as well” Kuroo said,” You sure? They can be quite intimidating” you warned,” Well I will be busy studying with Kai, so maybe another time,” Yaku said,” I don't like leaving my house and Coach forced to train more with Lev,” Kenma said pulling out his phone to continue playing his game, Yamomoto was nudged in the ribs by Yaku,” I will be brushing my Parrot,” the boy said rubbing his side,” I can go, whenever it’s okay with you,” I’m meeting them today if you want ti to join?”,” I would love... I mean sure” Kuroo smiled.
Mikey was stuffing his face with fast food when you arrived, Toman’s leader looked more like a cute chipmunk than a feared gang leader in Kuroo’s mind, but Draken who sat beside him with a face of disgust at his friend's horrible eating happened fits more of the image of a gang leader, from his height, crazy hairstyle and large tattoo,” Y/N, whose that?” Mikey said food bits flying out of his mouth,” Don’t speak if your mouth is full” you scolded,” This is Kuroo, the Captain of the Volleyball team, I mentioned” Emma was first to jump up and greet him,” Hi, I’m Emma, y/n spoke a lot about you” Emma said with a smirk making you blush,” Chifuyu”,” Mitsuya”,” Takamitchi”,” Draken”,” Mikey” everyone introduced themselves,” What are your intentions with our y/n” Mikey asked walking over, hamburger still in hand,” Emmm” Kuroo said, not knowing how to answer,” If you want to date her-”,” Mikey, enough. I don't want to date anyone at the moment” you said walking away from the group, Emma following you,” Did she tell you about us?” Draken asked,” Yeah, but I guess me asking her out fell through” he admitted,” Baji and her, were a dream couple, young yes, but everyone could see that they were meant to be. Give her time, to heal and maybe she wants to date you” Takemitchi said patting Kuroo’s back as he couldn't reach the Captain’s shoulder,” Wait, she dated Baji?” he said shocked,” Yes? I thought she told you everything”,” Well, she left that out” Kuroo said.
“Emma, I really do like him but Baji... he was my everything, I can’t just date Kuroo. If Baji didn’t die, I would still be with him, get married as soon as we left high school, opened our own pet shop, just be happy” you said sadly as Emma rubbed your back,” I know, I bet Baji even looked into weddings ring already, maybe find a law which allows the two of you to get married already” she chuckled making you laugh as well,” He was crazy for you, he loved making you happy. And he wants you to be happy, even if it wasn't with him, Kuroo seems like a nice guy from what you told me” Emma said,” It’s been only a month though since he died” Emma sighed and stroked your cheek,” Hey, Emma, can you give me and y/n a moment” Chifuyu said,”Emm sure” she said getting up,” Hey” he said softly,” Hey”,” Kuroo seems like a nice guy if isn’t throwing snide remarks at people mostly Mikey, who lucky enough for him was busy eating and then fell as sleep”,” He reminds me of Baji a bit, just the violence was replaced with snideness” you joked,” You like him, don’t you”,” Yeah and that’s my problem, Bali’s is dead for only a month and I already like someone else. I feel like-”,” a normal person, don’t feel bad about yourself. Baji wouldn't have wanted that, he hates seeing his Princess sad” he nudged you making you smile,” Here, Baji’s mom found in his things” he handed you a small bag, inside was your Toman jacket, you and Baji always wore each other's jackets so that everyone knew that you belonged to each other,” It still smells like him” you smiled tracing the laters of your name,” Look inside of the pocket” he said, you pulled a letter,” I can stay if you like?”,” Can you read it out to me, please?” Chifuyu nodded and gently took the letter from you.
To my Princess,
I know this sounds cliche but if you are reading this I’m probably dead. I want you to know that I would never betray Toman, but Kisaki is planning something and I want to find out what before telling Mikey, but that’s not why I’m writing you this. When I first saw you enter Mikey’s grandfather's dojo, I fell for you, I remember your hair being in pigtails, your mom holding your hand as you walked in nervously as you were the only girl in the dojo. I was so nervous talking to you, but Mikey helped by making his grandfather pair you up with me. I admit I made you win, but it was worth it being made fun of by the boys just to see your perfect smile. My mom still makes fun of me, she calls me a simp as she knows that I would do anything to make you smile, even if it meant studying. Mom even helped me to plan our first date, which went good until those Moebius guys showed up and caused trouble. I was worried that you get hurt as you were so tiny compared to them but you kicked their asses so well, I was so proud, that I just needed to kiss you. Your lips were just as imagined, perfect. People including my mom said I was rushing things when I said I wanted to marry you the second we finish high school, but I knew I found my soulmate in you. But unfortunately, this can't happen anymore, and I’m sorry Princess, that can't see you in a white dress, see you become a vet and open our pet shop together, have children but only if you wanted them. I’m sorry that I can’t be there when you are sad, but I don't want you to be sad, so please find someone who will treat you like deserve to be treated. Please take care of mom for me as well, she really likes you but not as much as I do. I will always be looking over you. Also yes, I already looked for rings and found one, please wear it, so you always have a piece of me with you. It belonged to my grandmother, Mom found it in the attic and gave it to me.
Love
Keisuke Baji.
Tears pooled in your eyes,” So that’s why he wanted me to delete his browser history” Chifuyu chuckled making you smile slightly,” It’s beautiful” you said as Chifuyu handed you the ring. It was simple, gold with an Opel stone in the middle, and around it was small flowers. You slipped it onto your ring finger, and it fitted perfectly,” Now, I just miss him more” you admitted pulling the jacket closer to you, taking in his scent,” But it gives clarity”
Tumblr media
“Eye patch, told me you wanted to speak to me?” Kuroo said,” Yeah, Kuroo first  I’m sorry for not telling you about Baji and me and second I'm not ready to move on yet, I do really like you and maybe it’s because as you physically remind me of him, the black hair, lean but muscular figure, the cat-like eyes” Kuroo listened carefully,” I also don't want to drag you into this gang culture, I can't quite just know. I don't know if ever can but-”,” It’s okay y/n, I like you as well, I get it a lot of things are happening at the moment, I also need to focus on nationals right now. The only thing I ask for is for you to stay as our manager since you joined the fighting slowed down mostly between Kenma and Yamamoto”,” Of course, I stay, I really looking forward to the battle of the garbage dump” you teased,” It’s a battle not to be missed” he smiled,” Did someone say battle” Mikey asked,” Kuroo will be attending the nationals for volleyball”,” Oooh can we come” the Toman leader said,” Sure” Kuroo said.
10 years later
“A little bit to the left, left Chifuyu, that’s right. How did you become a pilot if you don't know left from the right” you said rubbing your stomach,” Hey, be nice to the person helping you out on your opening” the now dark-haired Chifuyu said,” I would have asked Kuroo but he’s busy with promotions with the Volleyball team, Draken and Emma are still on holiday with the kids and Mikey is well probably sleeping” you chuckled,” It’s also not just the opening of my pet shop/vet but also Kazutora will be realised today” you smiled,” Is that the reason Mitsuya can't come either, busy designing another dress for you?”,” Well for who else” you giggled,” Hey Keisuke, calm down. My poor bladder” you said,” Maybe naming our child after Baji wasn't a good idea, he already got his sense of destruction” Chifuyu joked,” haha, very funny” you stuck your tongue at your friend, you played with the Opel ring around your neck looking at the store,” It’s finally happening Baji, our dream came through” you smiled when you felt a pair of arms wrap around you,” Well you did work hard for it baby” Kuroo said kissing your cheek,”Hey Kei, it’s Daddy, did you behave for Mommy?” he asked your belly receiving a kick in response,” I think we got a football player on our hands”,” You mean Volleyball, a Volleyball player” you rolled your eyes playfully,”Of course, so long he doesn't cause trouble as his namesake, I would be fine with whatever” you smiled,” Same but he will be a Volleyball player. The store looks great by the way” he complimented,” Thanks, your wife is very bossy, more than she was in her teens” Chifuyu teased,” Hey guys, did I miss something?” Mikey asked, he rubbed his eyes and took a bite of his cookie,” Yeah, the banner, you idiot” you tapped his forehead making him frown,” Sorry, the martial arts class took longer than usual” he said,” Hot mom?” Mitsuya said,” You know it, Yoga instructor as well” he smirked,” Lucky guy,” Mitsuya said,” Here is the dress, my best maternity looks so far” he said handing you the dress,” Isn’t it crazy, who things changed over the last few years. Kazutora will be realised soon and be working for me, so will Takemitchi, Hina finds Vet’s hot apparently,” you said making everyone laugh,” Yeah, it’s crazy, thanks for sticking by me guys,” Mikey said,” Always, Toman might not exist as it used to be but it always be us,” you said,” Also thanks Kuroo, for making me happy again” you looked up at him,” Thanks for letting me make you happy” he kissed your forehead.
