A/N: This takes place literally right after the events of the original story but could also be read as it's own blurb with Peter x Reader.

Therapy, apologies, and abstinence. 

Those were her three rules. 

They had made it home early that morning. Each of them were exhausted in their own right. It had been a long time since Peter allowed himself to open up like that. He knew what he had done was wrong. He knew he wasn’t right. But, for the first time in forever, he felt hope. He had forgotten what hope felt like. 

And happiness. 

Not the kind of happiness that feels like the sun was shooting straight out of your body but a more subtle, dull glimmer of happy. Like burning embers still keeping the coals warm after the fire has died out. It was the start of something new. 

She had given him a new lease on a life he thought had died along with Gwen. 

Therapy, apologies, abstinence. 

He could do those three things. He would do anything if it would keep her around. 

She had disappeared into her bedroom once they arrived back home to change into something more comfortable. While she was gone, Peter opened his laptop and began to search for therapists specializing in PTSD related trauma. He was scrolling through the faces of each person who could potentially help him when he heard her door creak open. 

His eyes flicked up to meet with hers. 

She had washed off her makeup, her face bare, and brushed out her hair. She wore star print pajama pants and an oversized black tee. 

And she looked more beautiful than ever. 

A smile softened his face as he stared at her. 

There was a look in her eyes that he instantly recognized. He had seen it in other women before but never in her. 

A hunger. A wild abandon. A need. 

Peter shoved his laptop to the side and stood up just in time to catch her as she threw herself into his arms. 

“Oof,” he breathed out when she collided into him with a force that almost knocked him back onto the couch. 

Time seemed to standstill as she pressed her face against his chest. He heard her breathe in his scent with her face buried against his shirt. Strong arms wrapped tightly around her waist, crushing her breasts against him, and drawing her hips to press against his. He tangled a strand of her hair around his finger, running them around her ear to gently cup her head in his palm. 

She listened to his frantic heart beat pounding away in his chest. 

“I love you, Peter.” She breathed out, softly and quietly. “I’ve loved you since I was six years old.” 

Tears burned in his eyes, “I know. Maybe I always knew. Maybe I didn’t. But you were always there. Waiting for me to pull my head out of my ass.” His hand slid down and cupped her bottom, pushing her harder against his evident desire for her growing in his pants, and she knew he loved her, too. 

A bittersweet happiness shone between them. Sadness melded with need. Neither of them knew how to feel. They didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. It had been such a long night. They really should get some sleep before they did anything rash. He could feel his defenses weakening the longer she held onto him. 

She snaked her arms around his neck and gently pressed her mouth to his. She moved her lips tenderly over his, testing the waters of their new development with a hesitant kiss.  

Peter stayed still to allow her to take the lead. Abstinence. That was one of her rules. Though she didn’t specify if that included her. All she had said was that she didn’t want to date him, not yet, and that she didn’t want to listen to him have sex with anyone else…she never said anything about the two of them…

He wasn’t going to push it. It was her world and he was just living in it. 

If she wanted to stand here and kiss him, he would happily allow her to do just that. 

“Peter?” She murmured against his mouth.

“Yeah?” He whispered.

He felt her smiling against his lips. 

“I want you to kiss me back. Stop acting like a statue. It’s okay. Kiss me.” 

Kiss her. 

That’s all he ever wanted to do. He would kiss until the end of time. 

His lips parted, melting the sea of ice, and then he was kissing her back. Forcefully and with demand, wanting to claim her as his own with his mouth. Their tongues wrestled in wet, warm, electric tangles. His growing passion washed over him in cool waves of bliss. 

He could feel her melting beneath his desperate onslaught. She shivered in his arms which only made him hold onto her tighter. Her hips bucked against him and he slipped his thigh between her legs to give her some kind of friction. 

The most delicious sounding moan fell from her lips as he attacked her with hungry kisses. She ground against his thigh and grabbed fistfuls of his hair. Peter felt the dizziness from lack of oxygen as she sucked the air straight out of his lungs. 

Begrudgingly he had to pull away, forcing himself to get a grip of his body before he completely lost control. 

“I-” he panted out. “I think we should stop. This is too…too fast…you wanted to take it slow, remember? This is not slow. This is the opposite of that.”

She groaned and shook her head, “Fuck that. I need you, Peter. Right now. We can take it slow tomorrow. If I don’t have you today, I might die.”

He let out a shuddered, shaky laugh as she grabbed his hand and led him straight to her bedroom.

So! This is DJ Rock-A-Fella AKA Rocky! He's a dorky highschooler that DJs in his free time. Also, he goes to Woodcrown High School in Dancity. Originally, though, he's from Cyberfunk :)

If anyone's throwing a house party, you just KNOW he's going to show up with all his equipment and be like "Hi, what's up, this music sucks, I'm plugging my stuff in."

He's like one of those guys that has to play a guitar at every party, except instead of playing "Wonderwall," he's making a mashup of "It's Raining Men" and "Holding Out For A Hero." No one expects it to be good, but he's amazing. It's his passion!

Currently, Rocky's dating D.A.N.C.E (who I call Julie). They've been together since middle school. They did one slow dance together on a whim at a school dance (it was kind of awkward) and Julie asked, "Hey, do you wanna, like, date?"

And he went, "Sure."

And they've been together ever since. She's a cheerleader! I imagine they go on little arcade dates and she absolutely DESTROYS him at like... Mortal Kombat.

I don't know! To me, he's just this little nerd with really good music taste.

when someone in the gc fucks up their board, they'll buy a plain deck from ace and hand it over to yn so they can practice and go ham with the board. it always turns out super cool, and yn not only paints something dope af on the deck but they'll also customize the grip tape as well, usually by painting on it. they’re not opposed to grip tape cut outs but its tedious work to them

yn's current board! the nose of their old deck got badly chipped after it hit kuroo's head and flew into the corner of some wall, and it wasn't worth it to try fixing it so they bought a basic black deck, yanked the aux cord from suna, and went ham with the board. they were really nervous about if they were going to fuck up the thermal hands or not, but obv it turned out fine. suna wrote the "overthinking will fucking kill you" text on the nose of the new board and ended up totally shredding the posca marker he used for it

suna's board is pretty old in comparison to everyone else's – he snaps the least amount of decks (but to be fair, everyone can only afford cheap ones at this time). red is his favorite color so yn has made sure to incorporate it into all his decks that they get their hands on. they also wrote his name on the grip tape (ignore how it doesnt actually say suna) for funsies since they wanted to practice a new font

wanted a domo board SO bad after he and samu went home for a weekend and helped their dad clean out the garage. he found his and samu's old domo hats and could not stop thinking about a domo board. his board at the time was fine and everything too but once he was back in tokyo he bought a pink board (the brown one looked too much like shit bc he stared at it too hard) and presented the idea to yn ...... obv they said yes. they threw in the poser text on his grip tape for funsies lolol they wanted to try out the thrasher fire font

no grip tape paint for samu bc yn was practicing the spider web grip tape cut out on his board. usually yn paints on grip tape but mattsun was commissioning yn at the time and sent them a vid of some guy doing web grip tape on a board. yn figured it was easy enough but they still wanted to use samu's new deck as a guinea pig. he was fine with it and to make up for possibly messing it up, yn brainstormed something extra cool to paint on his deck. samu is considering displaying this one since this one is extra cool

noya snapped his last deck clean in half from skating on rails lmfao. he and yn watched spirited away the night it happened so that's where the no face on the nose comes from. he goes through the most decks out of everyone bc he's always attempting some crazy ass rail trick. coincidentally he works the most shifts at ace since he's gotta pay for these decks somehow

kuroo has accumulated two boards so far: his first one that yn picked out at ace (shown above) and the one that yn made for him at community day. he's not planning on skating with the second one for preservation reasons. after finding out that yn designs decks though, he asked if they could customize his somehow, so they doodled gir (in disguise) from invader zim, one of kuroo's favorite tv shows as a kid.

bonus!

ukai doesn't skate as often anymore, but sometimes, if he's at ace, he'll join a sesh right after ace closes for the day. yn designed this board for his birthday last year, and he usually keeps it on display in the shop since it's one of yn's best works. it was definitely a process for them to make and took a lot of experimentation, but it paid off and is one of their best performing decks on their socials

woke up at 11, scrolled through mcrblr until like 1 when i started writing this. i then used hot glue and safety pins to make a few pins [while listening to isles and glaciers]. one i drew domo on, one saying brokencyde, and the other with the my digital escape logo thingy. i ended up accidentally ripping some of the brown off domo but when i filled it back in it was a completely different shade so he looks a little funky [pics at end].

after i went outside with boris and texted a few people. this lasted up until around 4 because i ended up watching jordan sweeto + more ronnie radke interviews at the same time/afterwards. i knew today was gunna be pretty laid back considering i can never really think of anything to do/i have no excuse to go out and nothing to do even if i did. so i literally just watched reels until 6 until i had some food and contemplated having a nap.

i went for a 30/40 minute walk with mum and dad and then went back home to drop dad off and have a drink before we left for the beach. i typically hate the beach, it’s a sensory nightmare, but ive been talking about going when the tides in so i can find some pretty shells and stuff.

i don’t know when we left, but it was surprisingly relaxing. i picked up a ton of purple shells as half of the beach was full of them and a few unusually pattered ones that i’ll probably post tomorrow, after they’ve been washed. i flipped over a few rocks and watched some baby crabs too. the sea was really calm and it sounded really nice, i don’t usually like sound of water but these were barely waves so it was all good. we got back at around 10:30.

after a while of watching tv i overheard that my family were fighting so i checked to see where boris was. long story short the argument escalated and the cat wouldn’t come in and went way too close to the road for my liking and i completely freaked out. it took me ages to get him in and i stayed with him trying to calm him and myself down for like 2 and a half hours until my sister finally gave up the argument, and went to sleep. then i comforted one of my moots and asked my parents the questions about boris.

i’ve had a stomachache, migraines, hiccups and my chest has been sort of.. spasming the whole day so i attempted to get to sleep a little earlier than usual. i think it’s definitely something to do with my eating but i don’t want to make things apparent to my parents although i’m genuinely in so much pain. im not at all excited to wake up early tomorrow to see my excessively judgemental provision. [my provision is a person i see one times a week (i have two) ultimately instead of me going to school. i have to do education related stuff with them but i’m new with this particular person so atm we’re just being forced to get to know eachother.]

i said goodnight to boris at 3:14 and fed him his last meal of the day at 3:16. it was super hard because i’ve been extra worried about him today especially because of how stressed he’s seemed. he was acting like his usual self at this point though which is good, i love cuddling him everyday and everynight. went to bed around 3:30/40

--It's perfect that Meryl's friend is named Karen, because that mole near her mouth means she's a gossip. She does seem to care about Meryl, though. Wants her to get married and everything.

--Ofc her officemates want to hear all the skinny on her interactions with Vash the Stampede. Wouldn't you?

--Look how happy Meryl is. She's gonna find Vash and give him all the kisses a very stern talking-to. It's official, Meryl and Milly are off to the DIrty Jerz.

--Awwww, the bike broke down again. This is tip-top, grade-A, prime bickering between Vash and WW. "Actually, I'm dissing you, not your stupid broken motorcycle!" It's not Trigun if these two aren't squawking at each other.

--What the hell kind of nasty-ass spaghetti are they eating? It looks like it has Spam in it. That is just wrong. (yeah, I know, spaghetti western.) And WW gets stuck with the check, just like Vash threatened.

--The girls are so cute in their PJ's. I love that we know what most of the main characters wear to bed. (I bet WW wears the rattiest underpants you ever saw, with a tank undershirt.)

--I love that Vash has old friends all over the place. He and Max (and probably Doc) went out for Obi-Wan and Anakin-style Wild Adventures and probably ripped it up wherever they went.

--It has to be incredibly hard on Vash to watch his friends get older while he stays the same.

--Meryl will KICK YOU in the NUTS. < / cartman > Nice subverted panty shot, though it doesn't come through in English. Good luck "having fun" with Meryl or Milly.

"I missed you too, Mr. Priest, it's so nice to see you again!" "I have a couple extra double dollars, do you want to go get some ice cream?" "That would be so nice of you, Mr. Priest! Yay!"

Thinking back on it... Vash starts to show a renewed determination to push back after his time with Grandma Sheryl and Lina. For two years (the anime is fuzzy on this so I'm using manga timeline) he got to be who he wanted to be - just another silly guy, living his life, doing ordinary things and being happy. No one knew whether he was alive, and he was able to live in peace. Which is pretty much all Vash genuinely wants. Without his brother chasing him and pulling the strings, he was able to accomplish that.

Vash has had a taste of what his life could be like without Knives being a dick to him all the time. So... what is he going to do about it?

Baby olympia stole my hearth, their little family is soo cute 🥹, if it's okay with you love, could you do one where Thena is doing something with baby olympia like feeding her or dressing her (in a super cute outfit 'cause thena is a fashion icon) and Gil is watching them, falling more in love with his girls, feeling grateful that he came back to Thena and that their little her was born. Just Gil being soft for his girls. 🩷

Gil keeps an eye on them - his girls - in the corner of the room.

Thena calls it 'feeding', which it is in some ways. She sits in the rocking chair Phastos constructed for them, and she holds Olympia, and both of them enter a dreamlike state as Cosmic Energy slowly leaves Thena and is absorbed by their little supernova.

Their little miracle--Gil still can't believe it.

He can't even believe that he's alive, for starters. His last memory is of him on his back on the amazon forest floor, looking up at Thena (much to her dismay). But he remembers she was smiling until the moment he closed his eyes.

Next thing he knows, he's alive again, Sersi has saved the world, there's a Celestial sticking out of the ocean and he and Thena have catching up to do. And then Thena is pregnant.

No one saw it coming, of course. No one could have. They all thought of Ajak often during the process of it all, but they were on their own for it. Thank all the stars in the sky for Sersi, and Phastos. All their siblings, of course.

Druig and Sprite are most wary of the baby, no matter how they love her. Sprite excels at entertaining young Olympia, if nothing else. She does seem amused by Druig, as if his constantly reading her young mind has established a somewhat two-way connection.

Kingo says he doesn't like that, because he should be her favourite. He and Phastos argue on that often. But, although Makkari bouncing and jogging her (gently!) around the Domo is fun for them both, Sersi is of course Thena's chosen second mother for their child.

And there could be no better, he agrees. Sersi has always been the most human, and the most connected to the ways of the heart. She's sweet, and warm, and has an awareness of the soul that none of the rest of them possess.

Gil admits this freely; he has only one soul to which his is linked.

It's strange to think that his wife has now lived part of her life without him, and yet to him he has spent not even a day without her. But he can see how she's worn out by what she's endured. He wishes he could take it on for her; it's not fair.

Gil walks into their shared room. It's still just his personal quarters in the Domo--far from luxurious. Phastos did do them the kindness of engineering an expansion, just into the next room, but the extra space was still appreciated.

There is also a small crib for Olympia, mere steps away from the bed.

He chuckles, looking at the little mobile above it. It's a simple thing, but Thena did whittle and paint it herself. There are dinosaurs and pegasi and also regular birds. A whole history's worth of creatures.

They all guessed he would be the one who would be unable to bear being away from Olympia. And they are right, but it's Thena who has the most acute anxiety about it.

Only by his and Sersi's convincing did she allow them to install the crib at all. If it were up to Thena, she would be holding their child in her arms until the day she was Sprite's height.

Gil kneels down in front of his beautiful girls. Olympia is sleeping soundly, absorbing little dewdrops of Cosmic Energy from her mother like a meadow receives the rain. Sersi reasons that human children often need extra vitamins and nutrients besides in just their food; perhaps this is the same.

He brushes his fingers over his daughter's tiny head; she really does look like a tiny Thena, although he thinks her hair is getting a little darker just at the roots. He kisses her little forehead. She scrunches her face. "I'm sorry, my little sunburst."

"You're here."

He smiles up at his wife, her enchanting green eyes affixed to him. She looks even more stunning since bringing Olympia into the world. "I'm here."

It's become a kind of greeting for them. Thena will voice those words as if one day he won't affirm them. But he has no right to worry about that when it's very possible that she has experienced that in some form or another.

He leans up, capturing her lips against his tenderly.

Thena sighs as they part, her head tilting lazily as she relaxes that last little bit. Her eyes shine at him, "she's strong."

The connection between Warrior Eternal and her progeny is one that brings tears to his eyes. He moves the back of his knuckle against his daughter's cheek, "I know. Look who her mother is."

Thena lets him kiss her cheek with reverence. "To say nothing of her father. Two of the galaxy's deadliest--she will be a force to be reckoned with."

"She," Gilgamesh pats the soft of his palm against Olympia's head, "will never have to know battle, so long as we live."

"Yes," Thena sighs, letting herself believe his reassurance. She inhales, adjusting her arms, "here."

It's a simple thing, but it moves him that she trusts him so completely with their daughter. Of course she does, he is her father. But he knows Thena--knows the way she twitches and flinches and watches. She is made to be vigilant, after all, and even with their own family, she is always keenly aware of their daughter's whereabouts.

But with him, she hands her over. Thena has no question about his ability to prioritise and protect their child.

He makes room as she stands from the chair. She wobbles faintly and he moves so she can lean into his side. "Easy."

He isn't entirely sure what takes place during the 'feedings'. Because he also makes her regular old milk and feeds that to her. But Phastos and Druig alike cannot fathom what takes place between mother and child and their connection of energy.

Thena nuzzles her face into his shoulder.

"You're tired," he chuckles, holding their daughter in one arm and his wife in the other. "Nap with me."

Thena mumbles faintly. And while he doesn't hear it, he knows it's because she wants them to have Olympia in the bed in between them, instead of in the crib.

"We talked about this," he reminds her as he oh-so gently lays Olympia down on the little cot within the high walls. "You trust Sersi."

"Of course I trust Sersi," she grumbles, as if she is not grinding her teeth in her head to distract from her separation anxiety.

"She needs to learn to sleep on her own," he says gently, pulling Thena with him to the bed. "You can't hold her forever, sweetheart."

"We live forever."

He chuckles, careful not to be too loud with his little sunflower in the room. But he tucks some of Thena's hair away from her face and kisses the corner of her amazing lips. "As will she. And that's a long time for her to sleep in her own bedroom."

He can practically hear his wife's feelings about their infant daughter sleeping in a completely separate room. He presses his nose to the sculpted hollow of her cheek. "I will want you all to myself again someday, you know."

That makes her smile. She laughs faintly as he kisses her cheek and pulls them to lie down together. She settles into his chest, his arms wrapped around her, their daughter's tiny breaths reaching their inhuman ears. "You have your priorities I see."

"I do," he answers honestly, rubbing Thena's back and burying his nose in the hair at the top of her head. "It's my two girls, always. My new little star and the sun of my galaxy."

"Hm," Thena allows him to relish the contact with her. "I shall pretend that's sweet, instead of you being eager to bed me again."

"I can be a sweet and loving father, and also your husband, y'know."

EMOS

Gaz: I just know he went through an emo phase. Look at that man and tell me he didn't listen to fucking Linkin Park religiously. They were like his first introduction to metal, and he just fell in love. don't think he liked (and still doesn't like) My Chemical Romance, but he pretended he did because they were the number 1 emo band. Also, I headcanon that his parents divorced, and then his mom remarried. He fucking hates his step-dad. I like to imagine him in band-tees and skinny jeans, too.

König: She's literally number 1 emo girl to me. She weird and only says shit that a person who had an emo phase (but is still low-key in it) would say. Like she was saying, "Rawr XD" constantly still. Probably loved domo and invader Zim. Also, an emo furry who would drew those classic emo wolves

Talon: I just think it's funny to think about. I can imagine him having the emo bangs and face covered in piercings. His hair used to be long, too. He would straighten it every day. Would only wear black skinny jeans with rips in them. Favorite band used to be Pierce the Veil, but he's cringes now if he hears them. Somehow, Wyatt found out that he used to be emo and teases him about it.

Mara: I can see her doing the iconic poses and saying, "Rawr means I love u in dinosaur" and using emoticons in every text message she sent. Another band-tee lover, that's the only kind of shirt she used to wear. Also, probably watched a few animes like Black Bulter. Don't bring her emo phase up to her. She is so embarrassed by it and will shoot will if you remind her.

SCENES

Syd: She used to be the number 1 scene girl at her school. Her hair would constantly be changing. She would dye it different colors monthly. She was obsessed with the raccoon tail hair. She would also relax and straighten hair hair way too much to the point it was so damaged. Was on MySpace and would watch all of Jeffery Stars shit. Also obsessed with Blood On The Dance Floor and MSI. Would always have 10+ accessories.

Velikan: I like to think of this huge dude being a scene kid. It's just funny to me. He didn't do any scene haircuts, but would he have 10+ accessories on his hair and outfits. He had a checkered pattern bookbag that was filled with holes and pins. He wore this bookbag EVERYWAY. He was obsessed with it. Would wear baggy clothes that also had holes in them. He thought the holes were cool. Obsessed with Metalocalypse then and now. Loved MSI and still listens to a few of their songs. Would not text with words, just emoticons. He does this with emojis now.

Gus: This is purely because his mustache is telling me he had a scene phase. He had the straightened and teased hair and would have one stripe of color that he changed weekly. I think he's always been able to grow his facial hair out and would also dye it. Wore bright colors all the time. You couldn't make him wear anything else. Had a MySpace and was very popular on there. He made a lot of friends, but most of them were toxic as fuck. Loved arm warmers, he used to make them. A glitter scene, too, again, he was obsessed with bright colors and glitter, just gave them that extra pop.

Valeria: She was the most not scene girl. Like she was scene, but you couldn't tell. She had the hair and clothes but would rarely actually dress up. Most of the time, her hair was her natural black, and she was wearing a graphic-tee with some sweatpants. She was a tom-girl at heart and had tom-girl shit to so with her father and brothers. But when she would dress up, then you could tell she was scene. She was wearing the bright against black clothes and arms, AND left warmers, beat up shoes, clips in her hair, and at least one pin somewhere on her or her bookbag. She didn't really listen to scene music all that much. She honestly didn't really care for it. She did have a MySpace but rarely used it.
