But ye, Atsushi is truly is sweetest and I love his dry sarcasm towards Dazai and Aku, it’s hilarious to witness!

A personal headcanon of mine is that as he grows closer with his ability, he gradually hears his ability speak to him, which most of the time is gremlin speak of his tiger and majorly influences his senses and mannerisms a lot (in a sfw and nsfw 👀)! Such as taking naps by the warm sun rays or silly things like “bring food to potential mate as a sign we can provide! 😤🐯” it’s hilarious and cute to see Atsushi in a sense argue with himself. I don't know what to chuckle at first. The fact he so does get salty with Dazai and Akutagawa eventually and it kills me. Or the fact you just likened his tiger ability to him living with Venom basically 😂 I'm sorry I love it so much, Atsushi is just a stressed Eddie Brock

Ok I'll do my Atsushi selfship and save the other for another ask...Outwardly it seems like I'm the one in control and Atsushi is the softer spoken one in our relationship. Which is partly true, I'm better at making assertive decisions in the moment. Osamu Relationships/Character

Since I should be studying and I just love procrastination, here’s a list of thoughts I have for Dazai’s character. 

-ATSUSHI: When it comes to Atsushi, or at least my Atsushi, Dazai sees him as the best way to be the man Oda wanted him to be, and that is what he originally thought when he met the weretiger. “Become a better person. Become someone who saves others. Protect the orphans.” Protect the orphans. Not only is Atsushi extremely strong and capable, but he was an orphan with nothing and in need of a home and guidance. When Dazai first met him—especially at the restaurant they went to—all he could think about was Oda. And so, he made a promise to himself and his fallen friend that he will protect Atsushi and help him learn, just as Oda would have wanted. 

-CONTROL: Dazai likes to be in control of every situation, and this is often the case. Thanks to his logic and game-playing skills, he can usually predict everything that will happen in an event, and is very proud of that ability of his. This means he is in control of everything that happens. He also is like this when it comes to manipulating others, or in relationships. He is without a doubt a dom, and he likes to keep it that way. He does whatever he wants to do, and with that he gets his greatest pleasure—even though this pleasure of his is short lived, as he is a lonely man and isolates himself from others by doing this.

-ANXIETY: Going along with the above, this means that if something differs from the way he had planned it out, he gets severely unnerved. While he seems calm, collected, and calculating when something goes wrong, he is secretly very stressed out. This is evident whenever you see him really serious—someone close to him can usually tell the difference between his “Okay, need to stop pissing around” serious and his “Oh shit, I wasn’t planning this at all...!!” serious.  

-LIA: This is less of a headcanon/character analysis but more of a way for me to use my OC Lia’s BSD verse more often lol. Usually, if Dazai is the main character in a thread, or any character of mine for that matter, they won’t have any love interest. This is so that if your muse and mine are capable of one, they can develop a romantic relationship. However, on the case of Dazai, if he is NOT the main character of a thread (basically, if Atsushi is the main character your muse interacts with and Dazai is just a background character) he will be in a relationship with my OC, Lia. He is my OTP for her in that verse, as her “canon” husband was based off of Osamu. They were both in the Mafia together, and had a more flimsy relationship back then, but after Dazai suddenly left Lia was all alone and in pain. So, when she saw him again and as a new, good person, she actually felt something real. They both gave each other a reason to live, and Dazai showed her light (just like Atsushi did for Kyouka) so Lia ran from the PM to join the ADA. Now, they work together and are in a not-so-lowkey relationship. BUT ONLY WHEN ATSUSHI IS THE MAIN CHARACTER FOR A THREAD AND A RELATIONSHIP WITH DAZAI IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY/IMPOSSIBLE.
