So I’m getting back into the doll hobby and god I want to mod my one doll to be a cyclops but I have absolutely NO space to do it and I :((( BUT .. I have a beautiful painted and modded head coming in the mail and I’m so excited !! Modded and painted by one of my absolute favorite artists in the hobby !!! As soon as the convention next month is over if I can I’m buying her a body.

I wanna do crazy things and mod but like I said ... no space to do anything :(( it’s frustrating ...but in the meantime I can work on my smaller dolls so ! I actually started making a tv head for one and I hope to finish her so I can take her to the convention !!! ;w;

I really hope to find clothes eyes wigs etc at the con and maybe some azone dolls! I really want a kikipop and I’m hoping maybe someone will b selling one. Last year tho I only found one booth with only a few doll things so I’m really hoping this year will have at least a couple of ppl selling doll stuff

Bunnitarts asked for African American sculpts on BJD Addicts and was given the same 5 companies/sculpts that have been suggested on this topic for years. Apparently you should buy all AA sculpts even if they are racist caricatures (Dollsbe), realistic (Iplehouse,Granado) when you prefer stylized sculpts, basic sculpting/posing (Resinsoul/Bobobie/Mirodoll/Impldoll), hard to find/expensive artist dolls (Twigling) or home-dyed.. otherwise you have no say in wanting more diversity?
