Week 52:

Storytelling: Self-Portrait

In the first week you took a self-portrait and told us who you think you are. To finish this off, take a self portrait that shows us who others think you are.

My first week photo was a self-portrait showing media which has helped define me. I think this Star Wars magazine does a good job of showing how Star Wars can often overwhelm the others in how I’m perceived.

This is it folks this is the end of the line. I managed to complete 51 out of 52 weeks of this challenge and I am damn proud.

The goal of the final week is a self portrait depicting who others think I am...Honestly I don’t care who people think I am because I have been and will continue to be myself, unapologetically. So w/o further ado I present to y’all

I chose this picture with the bird perspective

I took this picture in Czech Republic. We went to a town in South-Bohemia and this was the view I got from up in an old castle. I got to see bears here as well and we had a lot of hikes through the wonderfull environment

Capture 52 2023, Week 2

Week 2's theme is Golden Triangle. Yes, I used the Photoshop overlay. Rather hard to do without. Capture 52 is a Facebook photo challenge group that is an offshoot from the Dogwood photo challenges. The challenge is to get people taking more photos. The main rule is the photo has to be taken this current year and fit the theme somehow.

Week 52: Creative: Self Portrait Here I am, dirty glasses and all. Ironicly the photo I took for Week 42 Technical: Shutter Drag would have been more creative but I like how this shot turned out. Just a slow shutter, a window, a white reflector and a little LightRoom to complete the photo. That is a wrap for the Dogwood 2018 weekly photo challenge.

Story Telling: Friends and Family

Telling the story of someone you know well is sometimes the hardest story to tell.

On this day in 2019 this was my photo entry for week 6 of the Dogwood photography challenge. I called it “Vanity.”

I was really meant as backdoor commentary on all of the people in the moment who were OBSESSED with sharing selfies almost hourly … or at least that’s how it felt.
