I think I've decided to change my small business's name to bagel&bee. It sounds more like a dog clothing boutique type thing, no? "Adventure Beans" described the business when I was making durable bandanas and collars and leaning into the whole "adventure" thing. But now I mostly make jammies and sweaters. I think I need to lean more into the "cute" and "fashion" element. I also just think a clean slate fresh re-launch and trying to do the social media thing better would be good.

It's kind of sad because Adventure Beans has been kicking around for like 8 years or something. But. I just don't think it fits anymore.

ᴠýsᴛᴜᴘ ɴᴀ ᴍɪʟᴇšᴏᴠᴋᴜ

Hned další den jsem odhodlaně s psicemi vyrazila na Milešovku. Už dlouho jsem na ní myslela, jako na horský výstup pro začátečníky. Se svými 837 metry nad mořem je naprosto ideální. Máte pocit, že už lezete na větší kopec, ale zároveň vás nemusí děsit čtyřmístná čísla reprezentující české nejvyšší vrcholky.

Předpověď slibovala velmi horký den, takže, ač jsem zrozená jako sova, napřela jsem veškerou snahu vstát na budík zvonící v pět hodin. Nepovedlo se to jen o 10 minut, což je můj standardní výkon každé ráno. Sbalit psí pamlsky, zapéct si na cestu toasty a posnídat Borůvkové Cappuccino ve sklenici od Můj jogurt, mňam 😋

V 6:30 jsme vyrazily, abych za 48 minut parkovala ve Velemíně na parkovišti před potravinami. Máme před sebou celkem 15 kilometrů s výstupem na Milešovku a Ostrý.

Těsně za Velemínem cesta začíná pozvolna stoupat. A byť je teprve půl osmé, stoupá i okolní teplota, takže mikina po prvním kilometru mizí v batohu. Záhy jsem byla spocená jako dobytek. Znáte ty drobné mouchy, kterých je v létě v lese plno a co sedají psům kolem očí? Můj pocit dobytčete byl umocněn ve chvíli, kdy na mě tyhle malé potvory začaly pořádat nálety. Na chvíli jsem zalitovala, že jsem se nechala ostříhat. Kdybych měla culík, mohla bych je odhánět jako to dělají koně svým ocasem.

Na Milešovce moc lidí nebylo, přesto jsem pro nás hledala mezi odlehlejšími stoly kvůli slečně s evidentně nervózními psy. Byl to nějaký ohař a ten druhý vypadal jako kříženec německého ovčáka. Právě ten měl na sobě Freemotion postroj od Non-stop dogwear pro zápřah.

V tento moment, a ještě v několika následujících, jsem v duchu děkovala za moje dvě psice, které sice nemají 100% poslušnost, ale dávají mi šanci nechat jim volnost a chodit bez vodítka.

Daly jsme si zaslouženou svačinu a zvedly se k odchodu. Z Milešovky jsme zamířily do Milešova. Díky tomu, že z Milešova vede druhá přístupová cesta k vrcholu, a je evidentně více využívaná, provoz trochu houstl a přibývalo lidí, které jsme potkávaly při cestě dolů. Oni mířili nahoru. Vzhledem k tomu, že teplota vzduchu stále stoupala, jsem jim to nezáviděla.

V Milešově jsem se trochu zdržela kochaním se u Letohrádku Milešov. Letohrádek není udržovaný, přesto dokáže překvapit a odromit. Stále tu jsou patrné fresky na stěnách. Za dob své největší slávy musel být úchvatný. Rpzplývala jsem se nad tou nádhernou tak moc, že jsem si vůbec nevšimla, že hned naproti stojí také zámek. V současné době by měl být využíván jako domov pro seniory.

Z Milešova jsme si užily asfaltu, cesta odtud pokračuje k odbočce na Ostrý po silnici. Vyfuněly jsme kopec, kdy už nám v zádech dusala skupinka turistů, které jsem pak fotila mezi rozvalinami bývalého hradu. Sedla jsem si pod strom a vybalila oběd - ráno připravené toasty. Psice dostaly masové jerky s příchutí krocana a králíka od Carnilove. Až když všichni hrad opustili, vydaly jsme se na průzkum také my. Musím říct, že výhledy stály za tu námahu. Z nejvyššího místa hradu je 360 stupňový výhled do široka daleka. Nádhera!

Z Ostrého nás čekala už jen cesta přes Březno zpátky do Velemína. Bylo už nesnesitelné vedro a cesta z Března do Velemína po silnici nebyla zrovna příjemná. Dosupěly jsme do vesnice. První moje myšlenka byla na vypečené auto a nanuk. Ve vietnamských potravinách jsem si tedy koupila Mrože a malou láhev pramenité vody, protože poslední kapku jsem vylila psicím do misky v Březně.

Po cestě domů jsem ještě zastavila na benzince. Chtěla jsem ledovou kávu, v autě, i s klimatizací, bylo k padnutí. K mému nadšení byl na benzince také McDonald, takže ledová káva byla čerstvá, přímo od baristky.

Po návratu domů se opakoval scénář předchozího dne. Únavou jsem vytuhla...
