Eddie wants to start dating, knows he has to make an impression and maybe sort out his bedraggled mess of bird's nest hair so uses some of his monthly pay to go to one of the nice salons in town, only to find the head stylist is homecoming king and Hawkins royalty Steve Harrington. Who of course is as gorgeous as he remembers, with tight jeans and buttery caramel highlights in his beautifully rumpled wave of hair.

He expects Steve to be like he was in high school, cruel and a little aloof, but he's actually nice to him, reassures Eddie that no, he won't cut all his hair off but he will get it a little more under control. Looks mildly horrified when Eddie says he's been cutting his own hair with kitchen scissors for years. He washes Eddie's hair for him first and gives him a complimentary head message ("the best bit, right?" he says with a wink) and Eddie's so touch-starved that between the incredible feeling of Steve's fingers in his hair (soft but firm, fingernails dragging across his scalp) and how every now and then he'll tell Eddie how "good" he's being, he breaks out in goosebumps and his leg starts trembling.

I don’t have anything to link to here either and I didn’t notice any details like last time so uhh…this comic actually made me laugh for the sheer implication that Axl and Bridget are ready and willing to participate in a political assassination attempt. Also that actually, nobody could tell the difference between them, he was kicked out because Ky just wasn’t supposed to be there. Lots of silly implications in this one.

Thinking about Chuuya's hair being the way it is because he cuts it himself. Always has, always will. It gives him a sense of control.

Does he know how to cut hair? No. Will he ever learn? Also no. He goes off vibes and vibes alone.

He lets it grow out on a whim and chops it off on another. Hacks into sections of it every now and again whenever he feels like it. On days where his mood is low, a good session with the scissors has him feeling human again.

His hairstyle is nonsensical, but that just means its his and only his. Who else could pull off such a look?

Nobody.

But he can, because he's Chuuya Nakahara and there's only one of him in the whole world.
