Thinking about Deadpool and Wolverine as dogs.
I do not own any photos.
Wade:
Tumblr media
TWCs are thin long legged dog. Wade is 27 inches at the withers and is about 60 pounds, which makes him very thin and agile.
Treeing Walker Coonhounds (TWCs) are generally not aggressive, especially towards people they know and are known for being friendly unless given an alterier motive.
They get along well with other dogs and children but some owners say they can annoy other dogs too much seeing as TWCs were bred to hunt in packs.
TWCs are small-game hunters and may show excessive interest in smaller animals, like cats. Proper training and socialization from a young age can help them with self-control so not to chase after every single rabbit they see in the yard. Recall training is a must.
Tumblr media
TWCs have a lot of energy and can be very vocal at times. Too much energy pent-up can make the dog anxious and can sometimes lead to aggression.
If they don't receive proper socialization training, TWCs may become possessive of their family and home, which can lead to aggression or outbursts towards strangers.
Logan:
Tumblr media
Rottys are stocky and more muscly, Logan stands at about 24 inches and 95 pounds (which is underweight really or super lean)
Rottweilers are not naturally aggressive dogs, but they can appear aggressive towards people outside of their family or home due to their loyalty and protective nature.
Fear-based aggression can be treated, but it requires a patient and skilled owner.
Rottweilers are also known for being playful and affectionate, and they tend to get along well with children.
Rottweilers will show great loyalty and protectiveness toward people in their homes but will become protective of it towards people they don't know.
Tumblr media
Rottweilers are sometimes described as stubborn breeds to train but they often become easier to those they bond with. They ussually bond with only one handler (COUGH Charles COUGH) and become upset if away for too long. Handlers have to use both strict structure and reward based training for a Rottweiler to take orders.
I chose a Rottweiler also because of the Rotty Rumble, a growling sound in their chest that is breed specifc for them when they are happy and it goes along with my idea that Logan growls when happy too, you just have to learn the differences. Think about how much he grunts too.
Experiance:
Ive owned/ trained both of them and while I will say the coon hound was easier to train, its like having an orange cat as a dog. Keep in mind.. This is literally an average Treeing Walker Coonhound...
Tumblr media
Jumping on stuff, getting injured, running into walls at full speed. He was much more energetic than my rottweiler. Yeah, you'd have to tell him a command 3 times before he did it and hed huff and sigh, but he was much more cuddly and laid back.
Whats funny is BOTH breeds are known to play too rough with their fellow dogs, rotts ussually only can play with other rotts and Coon hounds ussually can only play with other large coon hounds with the exception of perhaps a working lab whos really tolerant to the coon hounds howls, demand barks, and constant pestering.
Tumblr media
Oh and another thing.
Wade has demodectic mange.
Is demodectic mange contagious? No, demodectic mange is not contagious to other animals or humans but can cause patches, irratation, itchyness, and lots of discomfort for the dog.
CONTENT WARNING: Pictures of Mange.

5 Facts About Dogs That You Didn't Know
Dogs have wet noses to enhance their sense of smell. The moisture helps to absorb more of the tiny particles we call odors.
Dogs have exceptional night vision compared to humans due to the high number of rods in their retinas.
Dogs have 300 bones in their body when they are born, but as they grow, some of these bones fuse together and they end up with only 206 bones as adults.
Dogs have better low-light vision than humans due to a reflective layer called the tapetum lucidum at the back of their eyes.
Dogs have three eyelids. The third lid, called a nictitating membrane, keeps the eye lubricated when the dog is sleeping.

Can Dogs Eat Tomatoes/Pizza? 🍅🐶
Tomatoes are a bit of a tricky treat for your furry friend. While ripe, red tomatoes are generally safe for dogs in moderation, the green parts of the tomato plant—like the leaves, stems, and unripe tomatoes—contain solanine, which can be harmful. If your dog nibbles on a slice of ripe tomato, they should be fine! But keep them away from tomato-based dishes like pizza or pasta sauce, as these often have added ingredients like garlic and onions that are toxic to dogs. 🍕❌
Remember, every dog is different! Always start with small amounts and monitor for any unusual reactions. Want more pet tips? Follow me for all things furry and fun! 🐾

bully positive zone
Tumblr media
pretty sure op turned off reblogs literally as i was researching & typing this so, making my own post:
some facts about pit bulls / similar bully breeds!
pit bulls account for about 1/3 of studied dog bites
they are also very common dogs and much more likely to be abused and neglected than other dog breeds
84% of violent incidents involve a dog that was abused or neglected
94% of violent incidents involve a dog that was an intact male, which experience significantly more aggression than neutered males
the breed standard temperament is confident, excited, eager to please, and extremely friendly toward humans, and the only ''typical'' aggression is against other dogs (which can be avoided with proper socialization). it is not normal for pit bulls to be aggressive toward humans
they are much less likely to be adopted, spending an average of 3x as long in shelters as other dog breeds, and are much more likely to be euthanized than other dog breeds. they are considered undesirable due to public stigma
(sources: 1, 2, 3, 4)
in this house we love bully breeds and hate stigma <3

Some cool facts about dogs I thought would be interesting to share (especially for you dog therians)!
•Dog noses are wet to help them absorb scent chemicals better! They’re able to scent things better than you by 100,000 times, and the bloodhound has the best sense of smell out of every dog breed.
•In fact, bloodhounds can scent things up to 300 hours old, and can track scents for 130 miles! Plus, their sense of smell is so reliable that it can be admissible in court!
•Greyhounds are able to beat a cheetah in a long distance race; being able to run for 35 mph (56 kmh) for 7 miles (11 km).
•Dogs are able to produce over 100 different facial expressions (I can’t produce many expressions though lol).
•The reason poodles have such odd furcuts is to increase buoyancy in water! Imagine having such thick fur weighing you down… that would suck.
•The AKC sorts dogs into 8 different categories: Herding (like collies, shepherds, and corgis), Sporting (like spaniels, retrievers, and pointers), Hound (like dachshunds, beagles, and coons), Terrier (like pitbulls, jack russels, and yorkies), Working (like huskies, mastiffs, and rotties), Toy (like chihuahuas, pugs, and maltese), Non-working (like dalmatians, bulldogs, and shibas), and Miscellaneous. Which one is your favourite, and which group does your theriotype belong in?
