My name is Mohammed, and I am a husband and father of 5 wonderful children. Specializing in Gaza, a place where the vibrant, diverse beams of light were a day of noisy diversity, students practicing in the streets, and diverse attendees and friends. Our city, with its beautiful coastline and historical charm, was a place of fabric in which we dreamed of a better future.🥺😢🥺

We are weary, and the daily struggle to survive in this war-torn reality has taken a heavy toll on us. The place that once gave us comfort and hope now feels dangerous and uncertain, and I worry about what the future holds for my children.

It is with a heavy heart that I share with you the desperate situation my family is currently experiencing in the Gaza Strip. Our home was destroyed long ago, leaving us without any shelter. Now we live in tents as winter approaches, and the conditions are very difficult due to the lack of basic life essentials such as food, shelter and medicine. Despite these difficult circumstances and apparent factors, my family is taking the initiative to feed other affected and displaced people in tents like us as much as they can.

After much painful reflection, my family and I have made the heart-wrenching decision to leave Gaza in search of safety and a chance to rebuild our lives. We are trying to raise €45,000 to escape the war and cover our living expenses abroad for one year, giving us the time we need to find stability and start anew.

Leaving our beloved home, the place where we were born and raised, is not a decision we take lightly. But for the sake of our children and the hope of a safer, brighter future, we must take this step.

Nella penisola di Kii in Giappone, gli antichi sentieri del Kumano Kodo si intrecciano attraverso montagne boscose e attraversano antichi villaggi. Milioni di persone hanno viaggiato in questo sacro pellegrinaggio nel corso dei secoli, usando gli stessi sentieri coperti di muschio presi dai guerrieri samurai e dagli imperatori giapponesi. La leggenda narra che gli alberi, le cascate e le montagne siano le dimore di spiriti, rendendo il Kumano Kodo un viaggio in movimento di morte e rinascita. Nel periodo Heian (794 – 1185) il pellegrinaggio era in gran parte riservato all’élite religiosa e politica. La famiglia e la corte imperiale fecero un arduo viaggio dall'antica capitale di Kyoto a questa remota area, alla ricerca del cielo sulla terra. Storicamente, le montagne in Giappone erano considerate sia la dimora degli dei che uno spazio di ritrovo per gli spiriti dei morti. Per questo motivo, la regione montuosa di Kumano era sempre venerata dai seguaci dei sistemi di credenze politeiste del Giappone (che dovevano diventare collettivamente conosciuti come Shintoismo). Inoltre, il Kodo era uno sbocco ideale per le pratiche ascetiche, così come per la purificazione della mente, del corpo e dell'anima.

Tutte le vie di pellegrinaggio Kumano Kodo conducono a Oyunohara , il Torii più grande del mondo, Questa struttura monolitica simboleggia la divisione tra il mondo secolare e quello spirituale; è l’ingresso ad un’area sacra.

Il simbolo di Kumano Kodo è il corvo sacro a tre zampe, Yata-garasu. Le tre zampe rappresentano il cielo, la terra e l’umanita’.

Kumano Sanzan ha combinato le fedi shintoiste e buddiste in una sola, conosciuta come Shinbutsu-shugo (letteralmente la convergenza del buddismo e dello shintoismo). L’idea che le divinità (kami) siano presenti in tutte le cose sulla Terra è profondamente radicata nella cultura giapponese dai tempi antichi. Il White paper ripiegato sotto forma di fulmini e appeso ai santuari delinea le aree in cui si ritiene che i kami presiedano. Dopo che il buddismo arrivò in Giappone nel VI secolo, i kami shintoisti diventarono, essenzialmente, manifestazioni di entita’ buddiste.

Shide, le stelle filanti di carta piegate a forma di bullone, spesso attaccate a Shimenawa (corda di paglia di riso), sono utilizzate per la purificazione nei rituali shintoisti e sono appese alle aree sacre. Lo shimenawa sulle cascate di Nachi indica la presenza di un kami (deità).

Gli Oji sono santuari sussidiari che fiancheggiano il Kumano Kodo e fungono da luoghi sia di culto che di riposo. La formazione di questi santuari è stata attribuita agli asceti di montagna Yamabushi, che storicamente servivano come guide di pellegrinaggio.

Più di 1.200 anni di storia shintoista e buddista sono documentati in queste montagne, motivo per cui il Kumano Kodo è stato insignito dello status di Patrimonio Mondiale dall'UNESCO.

PHYSICAL TRAITS :

Juno has Yakko's skin tone, eyes, feet and nose. He has Max's ears, teeth, tail and hair when it's not in those three little pigtails. They were a purple T-shirt and lavender/greyish sweatpants, as well as a bracelets with pearls of different colors. Their hairties are blue, pink and yellow. Growing up, they have Yakko's skinny figure and height (they wish they'd have taken more from Max regarding this lol).

- They love the ocean. They are obsessed, and watches tons of sea documentaties.

- At one point, they were super ashamed of their teeth. Max managed to get them out of this mindset and now, Juno finds them pretty cool.

- Making their dads proud involves them absolutely turning the place upside down and they get praised for it

- They often brag about their dads being "superstars"

- They love jewelry

- They have their hair tied almost all of the time, but unties them when they're about to go feral

- Their favorite color is purple

- Their favorite animal is the sea lion

- They want to learn to play instruments but their fingers on any instruments result in a disaster

- They are the popular kid

- They cause all the problems (not on purpose when it hurts other) but always finds a solution

- They love all the weird animals and bugs that are not liked much (like bats, sharks, spiders)

- How they were born is simple, Max and Yakko (adults) asked both the Warner Bros. and Disney animators to draw them a child based of them both

- They aren't afraid at all of things like ghosts and aliens, they'd find them supercool

- The three of them have a full blown concert with their playlist in the car

BONDING :

Yakko : Juno and Yakko have an unbreakable bond. Yakko is always the one reading/singing to them before bedtime. He's kind of a doting and overprotective dad, but he is the most down on earth dad and is usually the one being strict when he needs to be, on last resort. He is also the one establishing the rules and making sure the routine stays organised. He is very serious about respectong bedtime, showertime and so on. He and Juno can have never ending unsignificant convos that start at 7pm and by 11pm the convo somehow evolved into a talk about outerpace and its misteries. Yakko loves Juno's childlish innocence and every single second when he's reminded they're growing up makes him nostalgic and panicky. On the rare occasions where Juno would show a bit of anxiety, Yakko would enter a spiral about how he passed his anxiety to the kid and how it's his fault. He loves to teach his kid about everything he's passionate about, and did try to teach him piano.

Max : While Yakko is the dad who establishes the rules and the teacher dad, Max is more of the fun/chill dad that does stupid things with his child and then both get scolded by Yakko (only when it involves them unvoluntarily getting hurt in the process. Otherwise Yakko also cheers for the trouble making). Max is the one giving the nicest cuddles at any moment of the day, but also the one who will randomly yeet Juno in the pool. Like Yakko does with Juno, Max and them have an unbreakable bond. However on the rare occasions where Juno shows insecurity about their teeth, Max gets sad. One becaucause it is his own feature as well, and two because he gets scared that Juno would grow up to be like him as a teen and growing distant from his dad. Max is the one hyping Juno up for ANYTHING. He's the cool dad that allows the rules to be broken once in a while. He did try to get Juno into his sports like basket ball, skateboarding and such, but eventually accepted that Juno was skilled in none of them, and skilled in much different sports instead. But he is always here at any dance/gym competition, cheering the loudest with a sign.

Leden die uit een community worden verwijderd, worden daar nu via een pushmelding en een activiteitenitem van op de hoogte gebracht.

Binnen community's zijn we voortdurend bezig met het uitrollen van verschillende stylingupdates, met als meest opvallende een vernieuwde header wanneer je de community op een mobiele telefoon of in een mobiele browser bekijkt.

De pushmeldingen die aangeven dat een blog die je volgt na een tijdje weer berichten plaatst, zijn bijgewerkt met de naam van de blog.

🛠️ Fixes

Als je in Android op de tijdstempels in de header van een bericht van een community tikte, bleef het scherm soms hangen. Dat is nu verholpen. Ook zijn deze tijdstempels voor berichten van community’s op het web nu correct.

We hebben een tijdje geen pushmeldingen verzonden wanneer iemand je uitnodigde voor een community; dat is nu verholpen! De optie om je voor nieuwe reacties op communityberichten aan of af te melden, ontbrak per ongeluk ook een tijdje, maar we hebben die nu weer toegevoegd.

We zijn ons ervan bewust dat sommige mensen op de Filippijnen problemen hebben met de toegang tot Tumblr of afbeeldingen op Tumblr. We werken eraan om dit zo snel mogelijk te verhelpen.

Pubblicato in occasione dell’omonima mostra, il catalogo – che inaugura la collana del CeSAC - Centro Sperimentale per le Arti Contemporanee di Caraglio – sottopone all’attenzione del pubblico tre momenti storici in cui la seta, soprattutto attraverso le vesti, ha assunto un ruolo significativo nella storia del costume e della produzione: il Rinascimento, gli anni a cavallo fra Seicento e Settecento, e la prima metà del secolo XX. Il boom della seta, che vede la realizzazione di veri e insuperati capolavori tessili – manifestazione di ricchezza dei ceti più potenti – è il Quattrocento, quando alcuni centri italiani, come Venezia, Firenze o Genova, ne diventano i più importanti produttori europei. Una produzione pregiata che viene accresciuta, fra Seicento e Settecento, dagli scambi con il lontano Oriente: decorazioni bizzarre e fantastiche, ispirate alla cultura figurativa turca, indiana, cinese e giapponese, fioriscono su fondi dalle cromie nuove e brillanti. Il Novecento, con il diffondersi dell’industrializzazione, vede mutare ancora l’aspetto e il significato dell’abbigliarsi in seta. Questa diventa un tessuto di appannaggio quasi esclusivamente femminile, mentre nuovi generi tessili, come crêpes e chiffons, favoriscono l’affermazione di una nuova moda, tutta giocata sulla seduzione. In catalogo, introdotti da saggi critici, sono documentati alcuni capolavori tessili provenienti dal Museo del Bargello di Firenze e dal Centro di Studi di Storia del Tessuto e del Costume di Venezia, nonché abiti di sartorie o creatori famosi – Fortuny, Poiret, Schiaparelli, Capucci – e capi appartenuti a importanti dive o personalità: Rita Hayworth, Mirna Loy e Soraya Esfandiary.
