dr champ, feeling disgusted with himself after his relapse, goes to another country on some god-forsaken peninsula. he leaves his family because he is sure that they will be better off without him. there he is not eager to get to know the locals, preferring to stay at home or rarely stroll through the woods with a bottle of alcohol in his hand.

during one of his walks he meets an old labrador, captain peanutbutter. they get along after a while. champ finds out that captain has recently divorced, and his wife has taken the children. they realize that they are incredibly similar in many ways, and begin to communicate more often, genuinely enjoying each other's company.

eventually romantic feelings arise between them. they go through a lot: quarrels, rejection of themselves (especially from captain's side 'cause of his conservative views) etc (actually that's it). however, they decide to try, because they have nothing left to lose anymore.

they're getting better. they restore contacts with children. they think that maybe they finally have an opportunity to just live a peaceful life with their loved one. AND ONE DAY PB AND BOJACK DECIDE TO VISIT CAPTAIN TO GET TO KNOW HIS NEW PARTNER AND BOJACK SEES CHAMP. it would be the meeting of the century

(they both feel uncomfortable, but in the end they decide to put their grievances in the past and just try not to contact each other much etc etc)

I want to write a really far fetched but detailed and ultra cheesy fic between captain and dr champ

ruby sunday is so bright eyed and bushy tailed and kidnappable, like i love it but buckle up girl, he’s abt to send ur ass to Hell World…. wait does she know he can travel anywhere in space?? ppl know about aliens in the show, but how will she react though - she has no idea that he’s like this …..ancient alien entity of life and time ??? i hope their reputation unfolds slowly and ominously as they visit other planets. i wonder when she’ll ask about the flux. i hope she starts connecting the dots, and i hope the sheer scale of it scares her

Pastiches is such a shit rehab centre like it functions off people going cold turkey, it's run by a guy called Doctor Champ with zero qualifications, and said guy is both extremely unstable and thinks therapy is just. Telling everything about yourself? Like. that was his belief??? And it could've been so funny while also genuinely helping BoJack but it wasn't.

Okay but can we talk about this? The Toymaker only showed the Doctor a fraction of his true face to him, and he still made someone else cry. At the same time the Doctor was completely unfazed by it, what a legend.
