According to the IDF’s report, 13 soldiers were killed by friendly fire after being mistaken for enemy combatants, one from a stray bullet and another six in various accidents, such as being run over by armored vehicles.

At least one was killed by an Israeli airstrike when an attack helicopter fired on a building where soldiers were located last week.

The IDF doesn’t publish the full information on this incident due to various investigations still being examined in the IDF. In total, 105 soldiers have fallen in the ground operation so far. The army estimates that several hundred additional soldiers were wounded by friendly fire or operational accidents in enemy territory.

V druháku na střední jsem jezdívala domů tramvají 14 z karláku až na teplárnu michli. Ta trasa byla asi o 15 minut delší než moje běžná, ale jezdila jsem tak ráda, protože jsem právě měla 15 minut víc na čtení. Ten rok jsem si zamilovala literaturu, četla jsem jako divá. Někde po cestě tam je starý kolejiště. Na jaře je zahaleno zelení. A ten pohled mě tak vždycky uchvátil, že jsem na chvilku musela zvednout hlavu od knížky a užít si tu přírodu uprostřed obstavený Prahy. Oproti všem zahradám to zarostlý kolejiště mělo svoje kouzlo. Sálo drzou a surovou energií. Na začátku jara, když je ještě chladno a vzduch dráždí, bylo cítit jak se přesně v tom místě příroda probouzí. I přes okna tramvaje bylo cítit jak všechno kolem vibruje magií života.
