Hehe this is Dorothea UU I don’t have time to get into details just yet or do actual artwork instead of doodles but I had to get her out of my system.
The short story is she’s an ex rhythmic acrobat and varieté theater performer, who after an accident went to stardew valley with her grandmother to recover and escape the media. For the first years she’s rocking crutches or a cane and maybe a cast where all of the villagers will sign and draw on hoho.
Also her grandmother is the younger sister of the granpa and the actual ‘‘farmer’‘ that inherited the farm. But Dorothea would be my player character it’s just to spice the canon up a bit. Her grandmothers name is Elfriede, Elfie for short and she’d be the sort of lady you could find in the golden girls or a jessica fletcher from murder she wrote. If you know you know <3 She’s also the owner of the Varieté Dorothea performed in! When they moved to pelican town she only left a letter proclaiming her successor but they didn’t tell anyone where they went.
Dorothea is also an insect girly and likes butterflies perhaps a bit too much UU She has a pet snail (unnamed for now) and their dog is of the species Leonberger and called Joseph (a healthy dose of Heidi references are included :> you’ll know why later when i can draw her more hehe)
Their Farm is canonically an Alp and they specialize in goats, sheep, flowers and honey. I don’t know a ship yet, but just for the goth x girly girl aesthetic she’ll have some kind of relationship one way or the other with sebastian, even if it’s just unlikely friends, or something haha. She’s also albinistic! At first i just wanted to give her white hair just because, but when Alex dropped the line ‘‘you should go out into the sun more, otherwise you’ll get pale’‘ it would be just too funny if she is. I already have a few designs where i included funky sunglasses or sunhats and i’ll propably make some cute parasols too.
She’s very girly pop but more frugal and capable than most people would think at first glance. All her clothes are secondhand or upcycled she doesn’t buy or care for brands. She also doesn’t care if her clothes get dirty because she ‘‘only has nice clothes’‘ and if all her clothes are nice then all her clothes hold the same value to her and as such can be used as work clothes all the same.
She also has a mischievious streak and often plays into it when people don’t take her seriously, very ‘‘be smart, play dumb’‘.
As I said I don’t have too much time at the moment but I still already love her very much and am excited to get more in depth UU

oh I loved the new TADC episode, I wish Zooble was in it more though, honestly
It’s nice to meet another Zooble enjoyer, they’re a funky character and their deadpan attitude is fun
I saw you also have a character for TADC! What a cutie, may I ask what their personality is? And pronouns ofc
Oh and what role do they play in the circus?
How do the other characters interact with them?
Oh and they’re shipped with Zooble right? How’d the relationship start?
Is Ezirp an NPC or a human also trapped, if so how long have they been there? How do they feel about the circus?
Are they a cat as well? Looks like a little water cat which is so fun!
How do they feel about Caine?
Can I perhaps, eat them? Just like their inspiration, they feel so edible
Oh and one more question! Explosion.Jpeg?
Heheh got youuuu >:3
YEAHHHHH I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!!!! SUCH A FUN RIDE!!!! no matter how many times I watch it IT DOESNT FEEL LIKE 25 MINUTES XDDD
AND ALSO I AGREE!!!!! MORE ZOOBLE!!!! thankfully episode 3 is apparently gonna be SUPERRR zooble focused... I HAVE HOPE AND FAITH!!!! HANG IN THERE ZOOBLE FANS!!! WE WILL SURVIVE!!!!!!!!!
BUT YEAHHHH im such a BIG zooble fan!!! LIKE! trust me anon when i saw them in the episode i SCREAMED. SCREECHED EVEN.... the people who i was on call with can confirm i was LITERALLY fucking feral LMAOOOO
ANY WAYS! ERZIP QUESTION ANSWERING TIME !!!!! YIPPEE!!
erzip uses she/her! she's another human in the circus and she got there a few months before zooble did. she doesnt mind the circus but she definitely wishes that she could explore more and that some things would change :3c
personality wise, erzip is typically pretty nice! she's somewhat adventurous, as she loves to discover new things, though she prefers to do it all on her own. even so, she is sociable by nature and almost always loves talking to others when she can! like she's 100% a chatterbox and will go on long rambles about whatever random fact she had just remembered at the moment when prompted... erzip also likes saying absolutely wild things out of the blue for fun, usually in the form of threats LMAO
hmmm... circus role wise, erzip be an acrobat! and group wise, she's definitely the friend who always wanders off and has to be dragged away from whatever thing she'd gotten invested in since she went missing. you go through one crowd and you lose her because she went to go look in some random shop window halfway across the street xD
the other characters interacting with her.... asjkadfhdsjdh I HAVE THOUGHTS...
erzip and jax? mutual hatred. they both despise each other. though it is WAY more serious on erzips end xD she would gladly fight him any day of the week (and she has indeed done so in the past LMAO)
erzip didnt mind caine at first, but eventually he had gotten on her nerves. she now chooses to avoid him if possible. she just wants to go off and explore! why must he keep popping up!! >:P
pomni is on... less than ideal terms with erzip. theres just something about pomni that erzip doesnt like. pomni tries to be cordial, but still typically tries to avoid her and as a result, the two aren't really the closest.
ragatha is more of an acquaintance than anything. she's nice, but erzip fully believes that she can handle herself and doesnt turn to ragatha for much. they just respect each other. its not tense or awkward or anything and they often have pleasant conversations, its just that they aren't as close as they could be.
erzip and kinger get along pretty well! theyre definitely decent friends! erzip thinks hes neat (even if he keeps pulling on her keychain)
gangle and erzip are pretty close! they interact a lot and are pretty good friends! they have a lot of shared interests and can usually be found hanging out together and talking about them! (:3
and zooble... well they interact pretty positively most of the time! they both like talking to each other a lot! nd they mostly just go off on their own to hang out together hehe!!!
their relationship was a very slow and gradual thing xDD it took a bit for the both of them to become friends, but once they did they quickly got pretty close. though it was a suuuuuper long time before they both actually opened up and revealed how they felt. it was honestly super out of the blue! erzip hadn't been planning on saying anything at first, but the confession just slipped out and here they are xD even so, its still an incredibly down-low thing.... mainly because there hasn't been a convenient time to bring it up and they don't really care about the rest of them knowing. so the others are unaware, though they're certainly suspicious that they may be in a relationship now xD
and yeah erzip a cat!!! since she's based on water filled computer mice i decided a cat would be fitting as like... a twist on the idea xD
AKJSADFHASKJDF you can certainly try to eat her! ....though your mouth would probably be full of plastic shards and chemicals as a result xD
ALSO AAA!!!!! EXPLOSION.JPEG!!!! NOOO!!!!!!!! IVE BEEN GOTTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! o_O
#vivispeaks#ask#erzip#when the brainworms let up enough to let me CREATE im totally drawing art of her and zooble IM FERAL

So I've been tagged
By this lovely little soul that goes by the handle of @treshmind. And apparently I am the mutual they want to learn more about, which is a compliment I will hold dear and near.
Do you make your bed? People say your body is your temple. My temple is my bed, a direct reflection of how I'm doing. And right now literally everything is there, not to mention I technically sleep on a couch. But I get by, Imake my little space everyday to catch a few zzs.
Favourite number? Not sure if I have one. Probably not. Seven rings nice though. I always considered it to be the "proud" number, as it looks like a person with their chest forward. Much like the idle stance of everyone's favourite vampire.
What’s your job? Graphic / UX / UI Designer & Front-end developer. 10 years a designer, now venturing into IT. I love creating pretty things that touch people, so to speak, figuratively and literally. Something that hits them and/or they can interact with. Creating experiences, waving stories. I learned HTML & CSS when I was like 15, had a blog and couldn't find a nice skin for it - so I just coded my own. Javascript, typescript and vue.js came along last year and honestly, I'm having a blast. And no, pls don't look at my tumblr, I did code its appearance bit, but it's just tweaks, it doesn't say anything about my skills.
If you could go back to school would you? I would actually and it's something I'm considering. One for front-end development to give myself stronger foundation and boost of confidence, and another for foreign language. Spanish & German have my special attention there.
Can you parallel park? I'm willing to try!
Do you think aliens are real? I always have a hard time defining "aliens". I think most people's perception of what counts as "living" is limited at best and hypocritical at worst. I've heard of bacterias having a better time than some of the fully-formed, fully-conscious humans on Earth. Add humanity's general complex of seeing themselves as the most complex existence in the history and you can probably cook up my general stance on the topic. I don't think Earth is the only place there's a "life" on, but aliens understood as extraterrestrial livings, are probably not modeled after the evolutionary fart currently dominating the 3rd planet from the Sun.
Can you drive a manual car? I can, actually. My father is a car mechanic, I take these things pretty seriously, you know. Should I ever have a car, I don't think I'd go for automatic.
What’s your guilty pleasure? To be fair, all my pleasures are guilty. But as it stands now, my most guilty would be to indulge in my feelings and let myself play a game or doodle or write something while knowing there's piles of work I'm behind on.
Tattoos? One on my back between my shoulder blades, just a standard egdy barcode with my birthdate underneath. And one over my heart (or just over my left tit, let's be honest) saying "Ideas are bulletproof", but mirrored - so that I can read it when I look in the mirror.
Favourite colour? Black, red. I usually wear all black with golden accessories and absolutely seizure-inducing, colorful singular statement pieces.
Favourite types of music? Not sure what counts as "favourite" as I prefer music that makes me feel things, whatever the genre. I like the experimental, funky sound, but I also enjoy the deeply consuming sound of progressive electronic music, which help me deep-focus at work, so there's that ~. And oh, I love voices. Talented voices, singing voices, raw, honest voices. I sing a little and enjoy admiring this craft in others.
Do you like puzzles? Oh absolutely. I'm already hooked.
Any phobias? I thought I was afraid of spiders until I lived with a girl who was REALLY afraid of them and I stepped in as this chivalrous knight in shining armor charging at the beast and – So no, not really.
Favourite childhood sport? I actually participated in a lot of disciplines. I wish I gave acrobatics more time & attention. It felt so freeing and beautiful. So poetic, almost.
Do you talk to yourself? Like out loud? Not anymore, but I do have an old pal on me in my head which is eyyyyy, isn't that me?
What movies do you adore? "V for Vendetta" - about how trauma can reduce a person into a concept. In this case - a concept of vengeance. Dangerous, loveable, tragic concept I resonate with very much. This is also the movie where my tattoo quote comes from.
Where I validated my stance that you don't really need to see the other person to know and love them.
Your experiences and feelings are just as valid, even if someone misled you or you never truly met. And the masks and theatrics cannot really conceal what's truly important, so don't be afraid to just... feel.
Coffee or tea? Coffee, freshly ground & brewed, unless I have the instant kind of day, with milk. Tea - preferably Dilmah, either green or earl grey.
First thing you wanted to be growing up? Oh, an artist probably. Little did I know how difficult and anxiety-inducing it would prove.

Currently going insane over the idea of an Ocean's 11 type group of OCs:
I love the Ocean's Trilogy and thought it would be great to smash that aesthetic of the casinos, be gay do crime, and heists together with that of Star Wars so for the past few days I've had ocs on the brain.
They're still in development but I've got like,, some ideas/basics down for them :D!!
Leader
The Danny Ocean type character
Jedi who survived Order 66 - saw his padawan die - now is on the run
Wants nothing to do with a Jedi for the sake of being safe but also because of all the pain that brought him so he refuses to ever acknowledge that he’s a Jedi
Still will use Force for personal gain though - usually just Jedi mind tricks things
Teammates call him out on it and he’ll just say “idk what you mean, I’m just incredibly charming and convincing.”
You bet I’m going to make him a reluctant space dad
Basically Kanan - if Kanan had less morales
Demo Expert
The Rusty/Basher type character (2nd in command + Demolitions)
Mandalorian character most likely
Always clashing with Jedi for a multiple of reasons but despite their differences, nobody can deny that they compliment each other wonderfully and work amazingly together
Cannot stand each other but must do so for sake of doing missions
Hate/love relationship
Financier
Rueben type character
Need someone to fund their heists - so this rich guy does it
Maybe he’s some gangster, pirate, business owner, something idk - point is he has a lot of money to spend and doesn’t mind wasting it on this crew
Doesn’t like,, actively participate in the heists unless he has to - he’s basically their boss
Guy in the Chair
Livingston type character
Of course is going to be a droid because all good star wars groups need a droid - what kind of droid? Idk something modified probably
Probably would be a mix between Tay-O and K2 (so a ton of sass into one droid)
Grease Man
Yen type character
Need someone to squeeze into tight places or perform acrobatic feats
Gotta find a funky little alien race that might fit
Driver/Pilot
Turk and Virgil character
Clone pilot who survived Order 66 - got into an accident or something and that got his chip out or made it malfunction or something
Of course him and the Jedi guy don’t really get along at first - things are tense between them
For the sake of the jobs they gotta work together
Maybe has amnesia or something idk
Pitpocketer
Linus type character
Some kid they picked up on the street or something - basically like Ezra
Is taken under the wing by the Jedi guy
Of course the Jedi guy doesn’t want to do this because he doesn’t want anything happening to this kid - like what happened with his padawan
But the kid insists on staying after stowing away and has some decent enough skills so they let the kid stick around
Inside Man
Saul/Frank type character
This is the one who goes on in and gets information or acts as a distraction during missions
Probably going to make them a Clawdite because that shape shifting works in their favor
That's about all I've got right now! If I find time, I am definitely going to try and develop them a little more, fingers crossed.

“You Guys Ready to Rock?”
30 Seconds to Math on their first tour of Europe and pumping up the crowd before the show is always the fun part.
Bonus Below
Here we go:
30S2Mth is technically electric rock, though they tend to jump around and experiment with their sound
With Levander’s previous success, they had an easier time getting people to take notice. His previous fans were split, either quick to take up his new style or stubbornly stick to his work as a solo artist.
Combined with Howard’s insane ability to charm people into doing what he wants, it wasn’t long before they had a real gig.
They have 2 albums dropped at this point with another one in the works with Just Getting Started (musician cousins work together, kay?)
Randy’s lead vocals/keytarist
Howard’s on drums and back up vocals
Levander (after a few years of dedicated practice) is lead electric guitar He can sing okay, he just prefers playing his guitar
The three wear crazy show outfits for the hell of it. What’s the point of being a rock star if you can’t dress funky?
Levander tends to experiment the most with his clothes- both for show and chillin’.
Howard tends to do anything as long as he doesn’t have to wear tight pants or a shirt. The wild hair is a must though.
Randy himself tends to be the most consistent. Big flashy jackets, fingerless gloves, big necklaces. Eyeliner is required. Since he’s grown his hair out, he tends to just tie it to the side
Randy and Levander write the songs. It’s about a clean even split on what’s written by Randy, Levander, or the both of them.
Levander has a SHOCKING amount of bottled up frustration he pours into their songs. Randy has yet to fail to deliver on these- but he has some concerns for his bro.
Howard (still remembering Randy’s time as the Ninja) tends to get where Randy’s gets his source material from a whee bit better than Randy does.
Randy- continuing to practice his acrobatics and parkour skills post mind wipe out of habit- tends to do crazy stunts during the show, so he usually has two mikes- one head set and one on the floor.
Levander refuses to join in this- preferring his neck unbroken. Though he does some pretty insane things with his guitar.
They also tend to have a TON of special effects.
Half of these are caused by Randy unknowingly casting spells (bard magic baby).
The fans are positive that none of them are straight (and they’re right)
They have a manager that they tend to drive up a wall with their shenanigans
Their social media’s ranges from hot mess to pure insanity
Howard’s got an extremely popular stream where he critiques everything from movies to the latest tech to hair products.
Levander on the other hand, leans more towards the influencer vibe.
These two almost always have some sort of sponsor they support.
Randy is the most “real” on social media. He tends to go with more “okay so what if [insert somewhat stupid stunt]” kind of video. Otherwise he tends to just post rambles.
They had to take a small break when Randy got a movie deal (playing as Flamezilla in the BH6 movie)
Bonus without Mike

Aside from the obvious angst implications, the Sky-Widow Clones AU also offers up a new batch of potential Off Duty Clone Shenanigans, this time with bonus little sisters all running off the same core values and logic of Anakin “I’ll try spinning, that’s a good trick” Skywalker. No amount of mental conditioning is gonna erase that part of them completely, though the chips probably eventually will.
IDK how much of this you've seen of the AU but there's quite a bit of shenanigans:
- Context: Skysisters AU - List of Aniclones with attributes - Shipping and the Beginning of the End - The Adventures of Jinn and Kebi (and Korkie) - bulletpoint thoughts - (chrono)
But here's a few more ideas:
A lot of the first gen clones (the CCs, Rex, etc.) are more protective than actually engaging in the shenanigans, because the younger field Aniclones (not the CG Aniclones) hit the "Oh no, padawans, must protect," buttons.
However! Shinies that join once the girls have hit their stride, and the Shiny Fetts are in the same age grouping as the active Aniclones? They absolutely have a blast.
212th shinies know that Addie's always trying to be more like Obi-Wan and Cody, and so I like the idea that some of them do Study Games with her, which isn't quite the shenanigans you're suggesting, I think, but I'm a fan.
A lot of the Aniclones are the kind of Jedi kid that like to use time off to do acrobatic tricks for the heck of it, and so it's not uncommon to see a drags the clones into doing cupies and double cartwheels with her.
Jinn and Kebi are raising hell and they dragged Korkie, and eventually some deserter clones, into it with them.
Tilly (Pest) shows up to the Corrie barracks with Fun Drinks of the sugary kind, and baked goods, on the regular. Most clones don't like booze but they do like sugar rushes, and this leads to its own kind of chaos.
Despite being a mother Hen, Henrietta is 100% team "let's build a trebuchet on our off time and see how far you can throw me and Boba with it, I'll catch us with the Force and you can aim for the water, it'll be fine"
Some of Ducky's training includes floating a bunch of rocks for the Shinies to jump from one to the next like this.
The Shinies in Fritz's battalion get magnetized shoes so they can cling to the hull of her ship as she flips them around in circles (they're all wearing jetpacks, Feemor, it's fine!).
Stella and her crew get jealous and do the same thing but better because screw you, Fritz! This is now a competition!
Talas has an entire army of younglings so there's that. - I think this leads to small but intense baking competitions where everyone asks Talas, 99, and Alpha to judge their creations. - They'd ask Master Ti but she's a Togruta and her taste buds don't agree with a human's. 😔
Pixie got a sewing machine, and Siri gives her pocket money for fabric, and Pixie is making this everyone's problem. The clones in their legion sport handmade accessories that are slowly getting more complex as she gets better at this. The initial products are very funky.
Lamb, in complement, learned to knit because SHEEP.
Lyra has a SpaceTube channel and the more musically-inclined clones in her legion are in on it.
Rocker finds out about Space Roller Derby and set up some games of it with the Fett clones in her legion
Digit has an inexplicable rivalry with Cad Bane over something. Nobody can figure out what it's about but it sure is happening.
For some reason... I feel like Nightshade has insomnia and an unexpected result of this is that she got into aerial silks as a hobby and the late shift Fetts like to hang around and try it out when she's figuring it out.
BAUL likes to do pin-up art. Much sketching. The Fett clones high five her over it.
Harpy has the codes to Riyo's office. She has permission to stop by. She does not have to climb the outside wall in her pencil skirt and kitten heels and knock on the window for access. Guess what she does anyway.
Mauve tries so hard to be calm and collected and like her padawan sister but this girl cannot back down from a dare.
I think Teddie has like. A hat collection. This isn't really a shenanigan, I just think she'd like having a variety of novelty hats. Like the ones that have cat ears or the long mitten attachments.
Aimée introduces the Fett clones in her immediate friendship group to underground fight rings.
I think when Ginger has a day off, she dresses up as a Harpy or Belle and wanders around the Senate to confuse people and also collect gossip.
Krayt has pocket sand specifically to throw at Anakin.
Haunter and Slinky cause multiple games of "Bell the Cat" and none of them ever succeed.
I tagged in @willowcrowned for help because she shares this AU and she had some gems:
Robin discovers Jests and Japes from Yoda and proceeds to disseminate this information amongst the skysisters. Unfortunately, Robin doesn’t have a great idea of what pranks actually entail beyond ‘spray paint something that shouldn’t be spray painted’ or ‘bedazzle someone’s robes without their permission,’ which means that every one of the Skysisters then proceeds to do those two things. Multiple Jedi generals wake up with sparkling boots and walls painted a vibrant purple. The CTs helped.
Jinn and Kebi stumble upon a world that Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan visited that miraculously doesn’t have a problem with them and proceed to read all the records of their involvement there. This is followed by some soul searching as they decide that maybe this diplomacy thing has some merits. Korkie sighs in relief. Six days later, when he discovers that by “diplomacy” they mean “veiled threats” and “blatant lying” he is less relieved. Unbeknownst to any of them, Jinn and Kebi are carrying on the Jinn and Kenobi legacy perfectly
Belle is widely regarded to be the best-behaved of all the Skysisters because of her poise and grace and affiliation with Amidala. This makes no sense to anyone who actually knows Amidala, because Amidala is crazy. So is Belle, who has a habit of hunting down would-be assassins herself and clapping them in handcuffs before they even realize she’s there. This ends up getting her a bounty on the lower levels, which seems great for the bounty hunters who take it because hey, she’s just a clone. Then they realize hey, she’s a clone, and most of them don’t chance bringing in the wrong one. (One does attempt to get Pest. He does not survive.)

tagged by @galadrieljones and @a-shakespearean-in-paris Thank you friends
Relationship status: Married. 22 years next month!
Favorite color: green
Favorite food: I usually say steak frites, but we’ve been having so much meat on this trip, so I’d say Tabuleh Salad and pita bread and spicy hummus
Song stuck in your head: Dopha - Happy For Me https://open.spotify.com/track/5sChdEpcjejFn7ZdsonNee?si=d28adda7c2ca4675
Last thing you googled: Not sure?
Time: 12:04 am GMT +1
Dream trip: I’m not sure anymore. Japan I think.
Last book you read: The Emma Project by Dev Sonali
Last book you enjoyed reading: The book above - it wasn’t as great as some of her other ones, but it was still a nice summer read.
Last book you hated reading: I don’t hate books I just get bored. The last book I truly hated was Graham Greene, uh something something in Mexico we had to read for school.
Last movie you saw: Thor Love and Thunder. It was delightful. You just have to take it for what it is.
Bonus: We’ve been on vacation back home for almost four weeks. It has been lovely to see family, and very good to spend time with my dad, whose health is declining. I frankly don’t want to go back to work, and I am sad to leave Denmark.
Favorite thing to cook/bake: Sourdough bread. I got it figured out and it’s so easy now. Fingers crossed my mother dough can be revived after 4 weeks. Also any sort of cakes and I love trying a new cake recipe.
Favorite craft to do in your spare time: Doodling and baking
Most niche dislike: no-show socks. I just don’t like the look, especially in men’s fashion of dress shoes + pants and you can see the ankles? Wear some goddamn socks. Make them funky even. I also hate wearing no-show socks.
Opinion on circus(es) now and in history: I don’t know if I have an opinion on historical circuses. They were probably exploitive as fuck? I lowkey like modern circuses, but not love. I’ve no idea what circuses are like in the US, but in denmark there are a couple of family circuses. Most of them are very small (no animals save dogs, maybe horses - “wild” animals are not legal in circuses and that is for the best). I remember going to circus as a kid when it was in town and it was always exiting and you got icecream. Some types of acts I don’t like, or like less. I LOVE acrobatics. LOVE LOVE LOVE. I do love cirque de soleil, just very cool. (I have a story of some circus acrobats who hit on me and and a friend of mine when we were 16/17 they were all incredible hot, but we were too young haha and sensibly said no - it was not creepy they weren’t that old and they didn’t press just kept talking about how hard it was to be on the road... )
Do you have a sense of direction and if not what is the worst way you ever got lost: Yes mostly? I do think I can figure out directions though I’m best with a map. I don’t recall the worst way I got lost, but I was probably driving and took a wrong turn.

since it’s an art day and not a writing day, here’s some blog related content that isn’t writing! presenting: how i think my muses would align in the magnus archives.
claire stanfield: the stranger. circus background notwithstanding, most people who either see him in action or fight against him stop to wonder if he’s human or some kind of monster, and his acrobatics have been describes as unnatural too many times for me to dismiss him. alternatively: the hunt, the slaughter.
maria barcelito: the slaughter. she attacks most people she sees on sight and her sense of self worth is tied to slicing and dicing. it wasn’t a difficult pick. alternatively: the hunt.
graham specter: the spiral. have you heard him make his little speeches? that’s a spiral guy if there’s ever been a spiral guy. a very spiralling story. you keep making your cars, funky little wrench man. alternatively: the desolation.
jacuzzi splot: the corruption. honestly, i’ve based this very loosely off the “toxic love” aspect of the corruption. people are naturally drawn to jacuzzi and his gang is inseparable, and i just think he’s too good of a guy to actively try doing malicious things, but i do think he could have fuckin bugs everywhere. alternatively: the desolation, the hunt.
nice holystone: the desolation. she likes bombs, gang. she likes bombs. alternatively: the corruption, the hunt.
huey laforet: the web. master manipulator 9000, has his fingers in all the pies, orchestrating things you don’t even know about. he could do fucked up little experiments as a webvatar. alternatively: the eye, the lonely, the flesh.
melvi dormentaire: the stranger. he’s a genetic clone of someone handpicked to make maiza uncomfortable, gang, i dunno what to tell you. also, the almost-human vibes. alternatively: the eye, the lonely.
luchino b. campanella: the web. he’s had control over the vast resources of the mask makers since he was a child, and he’s had to make himself good at it. he’s both the puppet and the puppetteer. alternatively: the stranger, the lonely.
luck gandor: the lonely. he’s caught between a few for me, but i think his general fear of apathy that sets him apart from everyone around him has sold me on lonely!luck, in the sense of being alienated from the people he cares about the most. alternatively: the eye, the web.
sham: the eye. there’s an incredibly strong argument for the stranger... but he was created as a spy network. his strengths lie in his ability to gather information. so, even if he may be a little uncanny, the eye wins it all for me. alternatively: the stranger, the web.
ronny schiatto: the eye. to be clear, he’d be a creature and not an avatar, but ronny’s entire deal is being omnipotent and, more than that, wanting to see how things around him play out. he’s the epitome of the eye’s whole deal; he sits and watches things play out from the sidelines because he wants to. alternatively: the dark, the vast, the extinction.
christopher shaldred: the stranger. what an interesting man. he could go in any number of ways, but i chose the stranger a. as a foil to claire and b. because of his strange desire to be above humanity but also to not be different from them. however, he’s maybe my candidate for most potential choices! alternatively: the corruption, the hunt, the slaughter, the buried, the flesh.
isaac dian: the spiral. i don’t think i need to explain myself on this one. alternatively: N/A.
ladd russo: the slaughter. yeah, so, again, not really much of an explanation to be had here. he likes killing people. what do you want from me. alternatively: the hunt, the desolation.
maiza avaro: the lonely. you could make a strong argument for several others, but the incident aboard the advena avis pushes him towards the lonely for me. he’s missing a lot of his friends and gretto and i think it could cause him to become prime lonely bait. alternatively: the eye.
jules upham: the buried. he just seems like a buried guy to me. alternatively: the dark.
chané laforet: the hunt. she was practically raised to take down all those that would oppose her father, so i think this tracks. alternatively: the lonely, the end.
gabriel & juliano barsotti: the hunt, both of them. they’re referred to as the mad dogs and our introduction to them is them going out on a chase for the people who kidnapped their charge. they are the hunt. one hundred percent. alternatively: the stranger.
pamela mccall: the buried. i don’t know what’s with all these bitches with anxiety but they all have buried vibes to me. alternatively: the hunt.
lana sutton: the vast! lana is something of an adrenaline junkie herself, and she rushes into things without thinking of the consequences because the consequences don’t matter to her. also, her and pamela are constantly bickering over everything, so. opposite entities! alternatively: the hunt.
sonja bake: the slaughter. uh......... yeah. alternatively: the hunt.
rachel jones: the eye. she’s a gopher from an information brokerage! her job is to be a nosy bitch and snoop around in things! alternatively: the end, the hunt.
molsa martillo: the web. i think you can ascribe the web to most successful mob boss characters---either that or the corruption, but i’d go with web here. despite the way he acts, molsa is pretty good at controlling the circumstances around him to keep the martillos out of trouble. just look at his deal with huey in 1935. alternatively: the corruption.
victor talbot: the hunt. are you kidding me? tma’s law enforcement corruption notwithstanding, talbot is the most aggressive person ever, and he’s ruthlessly pursuing and trying to detain huey laforet. alternatively: the eye.
kate gandor: the lonely. but in the way you walk on an empty streat and hear no sounds but a distant piano. i mean, seriously, her plot in drug and the dominos is all about the despair the lonely brings, both with the silent film collapse and with keith never being able to make it home. alternatively: the end, the extinction.
laz smith: the spiral. this guy idolizes madness above all else. sure, he’s a total fraud, but i think he’d be happy with the spiral. alternatively: the hunt, the stranger.
roy maddock: the corruption. it was a tough choice for him, though, but i think i’d like to focus more on the decay and decimation his addiction problem brought him than the whimsical world it created for him. alternatively: the stranger.
tick jefferson: the stranger. i think tick’s uncanniness would suit the stranger well, combined with his intense understanding of anatomy but failure to grasp the significance of emotions. i just think it would be neat. alternatively: the end, the eye.
mark twain: the eye!! i have put him in several places but i always circle back to the eye. he’s a notorious nosy bitch and he likes to ask people for interesting stories so he can write them down “for later”. alternatively: the vast, the stranger, the extinction.
roger zelazny: the extinction. listen, he time travels, i just think the best way to adapt that into tma stuff is to have him be an avatar of the fear relating to things existing and catastrophically changing after you’ve long died. alternatively: the end, the eye.
cyran azerrad kapral: the hunt. of course. he’s a vampire. alternatively: the stranger.
il dottore: the extinction: experiment doing motherfucker techologically advanced bitch. stupid ass fucking scientist. alternatively: the eye, the flesh.
yemevon: the end. fucking of course it was going to be the end. my goodness. alternatively: the dark.

Dick
* Definitely briefs-those boxer briefs
* He probably still gets shit for Panties!Robin from his siblings
* But what can he say it’s comfy?
* Also it holds everything in place when he’s doing his acrobatic stuff
* He tried the boxer thing once and it just wasn’t -
* Just wasn’t for him
* Will 100% wear sexy lacy underwear if you’re into that
* And maybe even if you’re not
Jason
* Definitely a boxers guy
* I bet he was a straight boxers guy throughout his teens
* Occasionally he will wear boxer briefs though, especially if he’s working out
* Also he knows he looks great in them, and he likes the way you look at him when he’s wearing them
* Probably matches his socks and boxers, mostly sticks to black, but has a few cute patterns in there
Tim
* Oh the poor baby
* Sometimes he forgets to wear underwear all together
* Also the kind of guy who probably wears mismatched socks
* And by mismatched I don’t mean like - they’re both black just different cut
* I mean like straight up one sock is red and the other is yellow
* Or one is polka dot pattern and the other sock is like retro triangle print
* “Well what does it matter when you’re going to take them off of me anyway?”
* Well, he’s got a point
Damian:
* Boxer briefs
* Always boxer briefs
* He wears dark colored ones, mostly black, but occasionally also a navy or dark red pair
* Always wears dark socks
* Has a preference for Ralph Lauren, so everything is the same brand
* Socks, underwear and tie are always matching
* It’s a subtle elegance
Bonus:
Bruce:
* Damian had to learn it from somewhere
* Bruce is impeccable, both in fitness and underwear
* Mostly wears boxer briefs, always the same brand as his socks and tie
* All of it is the same shade
* But that’s when he’s dressed to impress at a gala or at work
* At home I think he’s much more relaxed
* Loose boxers, if any underwear at all,
* funky socks if he’s not just wandering around barefoot in a robe
* “At least wear some slippers, you’re going to make yourself sick “ you mumble
* He smiles, burying his prickly unshaven face into your neck
* “What if that’s what I want? For my cute little nurse to prance around and fuss over me while I’m sick?”
* You roll your eyes
* What a smooth operator
* “Just wear some damn clothes Bruce.”

Episode 6 of SDOC4, Episode 5 of Let’s Chat
Going to just dive right into the spoilers, so here's a cut.
Episode 6 of SDOC4
Ma Xiaolong and Zyko
WTAF. These two together are like magic. Wow. We already knew that Ma Xiaolong is an incredible choreographer (truly among the best I've ever seen and I watch a LOT of dance), but this was so over the top amazing even for him. The two really flow together amazingly well. I have no words.
There's no way anything they went up against stood a ghost of a chance, not even Huang Xiao and Kenken's strong performance.
Ibuki and AC
THANKS SDOC for putting those two together. Please let them go all the way because I really need more of them. Such a great duo and so entertaining together. Such a formidable force as well. Love them so much. Especially AC. He has so much personality, intensity and humor. And, of course, talent.
His cute funky locking performance was a real treat, particularly for someone like me who feels this style is vastly over-represented this season. More on that later...
Team Han Geng
They slayed, utterly slayed, every performance and completely dominated the team battles. Good for them. Strong team. Really strong team.
I absolutely love Han Geng and I'm glad for DD that he has someone like Geng ge around this season to support him.
50 Funky Lockers
I thought maybe I was being a bit harsh last week when I was expressing disappointment about the early elimination of a strong krumper, but really, a picture is worth a thousand words...
Xiao Ji and the B Boys
I am always heavily biased toward b boys because I've always had a thing for b boys, but I loved these guys and their performance was a highlight for me. Xiao Ji is fucking hilarious, really one of my favorite people in the entire show. I always look forward to his performances because they totally ooze originality and wit. And he's not just a goofball, the guy has genuine skill.
His banter between performances is also always entertaining. His comparison of Lil Kev to Conor McGregor killed me. LOL.
The Waachoreography Group
What more can I say - this performance stole the night. So well done. So exceptionally well choreographed and executed. They deserved their win.
I loved the way DD just rattled off the list of who led all the bits of choreography, and picked out Bunta as the lead. DD is a perceptive guy, and smart when it comes to dance. He knows his stuff.
BUNTA!!!!!!!!!
He's been one of my favorites from day one. The guy is so powerful, so beautiful and so talented. I want SOOOO badly for him to end up on Team Boom!. Not only is he amazing choreographer, he has a style that would really compliment DD's dance style and approach.
Please globs, just let me have this one thing!🙏🏻
The Poppers
Loved this group. They really did an excellent job. Jr Taco is another great personality with the skill to back it up. And MT-POP is another favorite of mine from the earlier episodes. The guy has so much talent and originality, and the way he moves is so unique and clean. His stage presence and ability to project a character are practically unmatched this season.
This group's performance was so strong, especially considering the level of difficulty they chose to put into the choreography. They nailed it with only a few minor glitches. So well done.
The Judges
Glad they did a little intro where we got to see them perform for a few seconds. That was a nice touch. Phillip Chbeeb and Tham were amazing - especially Tham, who stunned me with her acrobatics - but Eagle One completely blew me away. WTF bro...
The Cuts
Wow, what a savage cull they did this episode. Especially eliminating all but one from the Japanese team. Just such a shame the way it all fell out. I feel like we're distilling the group down to a narrower and narrower range of styles/dancers every episode. Not really happy with what they've been doing. I guess time will tell how that's all going to play out in the end.
Episode 5 of Let's Chat
It wasn't as exciting an episode this week. Nothing really captured me here. I didn't even get to see DD and his little lettuce garden. It was fun watching them eat and talk, but nothing to write home about.
But to be fair, last week's episode is a hard act to follow.
When Henry was talking about fans making music schools in his name, I thought of all the BXG projects that have been done for GGDD and felt sad DD couldn't talk about them as well. But at least they exist, and no doubt GGDD know about them and appreciate the good work being done in their names.
I also enjoyed seeing Han Geng giving DD some sour plums. As we know, DD loves his sour plums. There was even a fake rumor about it a while back.
I hate to say I've been finding Henry a bit annoying lately. I used to find his shtick really cute and endearing, but lately it's been getting a bit much. I feel bad about it though. He is a sweet guy. He's just coming across as fake lately. He could stand to dial it down a notch or two and just relax a bit.
Hopefully he'll snap out of it at some point.
Didn't DD look really fresh and youthful for this episode of hot pot? So cute cool.
Already looking forward to next week.
IMPORTANT: Please, when responding to these, remember not to post any spoilers. I want people (including myself) to be able to read the notes of these posts and not get spoiled. Thanks!

“At the very moment of sitting (meditation), what is sitting? Is it an acrobat’s graceful somersault or the rapid darting of a fish? Is it thinking or not thinking? Is it doing or not doing? Is it sitting within sitting? Is it sitting within body-mind? Is it sitting letting go of sitting within sitting, or letting go of sitting within body-mind? Investigate this in every possible way. Sit in the body’s meditation posture. Sit in the mind’s meditation posture. Sit in the meditation posture of letting go of body-mind.” - Zen Master Dogen
“Sitting within sitting”; Dogen considers entering the state of sitting meditation within the event of your sitting meditation, as sitting meditation represents entering into a state of purified mind, sincerity, and truth, sitting within sitting is somehow another level of the sitter sitting. Far from merely using poetic exaggeration to describe the abstract quality of sitting meditation, each of Dogens questions has a deeper meaning in its description of the meditation process and what it is or isn't; and as such this passage could take years to decipher and understand.
How can one sit in their seat? Being seated is akin to taking the weight off your feet, resting, relaxing; one may be seated but are they taking the weight off their feet? One may be relaxed, but can they relax their relaxation? Dogens concept of sitting within sitting, Meditating in your Meditation, is very much in the realm of his funky-dharma style. Dogen was a master wordsmith and one of the few able to come close to describing the otherworldly experiences of higher levels of meditation practice.

Dancing and Fighting with Fire
(Y’all I did it! I wrote down the basics of my AU! Now time to write 10 other things before I write the story I have planned out for this)
(Sorry if there is any weird wording, I can’t think today)
World Design
-The world they live in is very weird so buckle up
-There are multiple towns and they have different ways of life and don’t have a lot of contact with each other because they are extremely far apart
-It takes at least three weeks to get from one to the other and that’s if you are lucky enough to not run into a lot of them
-The land in between the towns are dense forests with unpredictable weather, going in there alone would be suicide
-The City where SBI lives are ‘ranked’ like circles, in the center is when the richest people and government workers live, it is very nice and the people there are privileged
-Then there is the second layer which has mostly houses and merchants, when you get farther away from the center you will see the quality of living start to decrease
-The third circle is where more of the working/blue collar people live, having to travel closer to the center for work
-The fourth circle is the poorest, the slums, here and at the edge of the third circle are have more thieves and looting is more common
-The farther you go into the fourth circle the more of a chance you have to get attacked by monsters
-SBI lives along the edge of the third circle
-Tubbo lives closer to the front of the third circle, close to the second circle
-The center circle has complete control of dimension travel, trying to build your own portal is a highly punishable offense
- This is also why potions are very hard to come by and very expensive, it’s a rich man's game
-It’s a medieval, fantasy type setting, they have trains that can be used for transportation and the richer people have access to things like phones but even they aren’t that advanced
-There is a path to the mines in the second circle, even though the front is guarded there are so many ways to sneak in
-Dragons exist, mainly because I want them too, there is no real reasoning, I just want them there
Characters
Techno: Ex-child soldier, regularly attends duels for money (16)
-Was in training from ages 3- 12, while he wasn’t physically fighting people at that age he was learning the movements, how to properly assess situations, how to use his flexibly to his advantage and how to use weapons
-Can think on the fly and has very fast reflexes
- Definitely has anxiety and nightmares, the nightmares have lessen now
-He doesn’t remember his parents or his life before, just remembers being ripped away, from someone
- Tried to runaway from the ‘army’ three times, on the fourth he succeeded
-Cares very deeply about about Phil, Wilbur, and Tommy, he would do anything for them
- Him and Phil met first, in an alley, Techno chasing off some thieves, Phil helped Techno with his wounds and getting him to let his guard down, and Techno helped Phil learn how to defend himself
- They met Wilbur later on and then stayed together, with Phil’s job, Techno’s duel money, and the money Wilbur got from playing music they were able to afford a little hole in the wall place to live
-Then they found the damn gremlin
- Techno and Phil were out when they found a shifty little shit that tired to pickpocket them
-He actually did
-They chased him and made him return their stuff
-Once he confessed that he ran away from an orphanage they got attached, Techno felt for Tommy because they both ditched out from places were they weren’t safe and Phil just found another bastard brother to take care of
- Techno is SUPER flexible, the lad can bend his body in crazy ways, it makes Phil and Wilbur slightly uncomfortable but also interests them
-Tommy thinks it’s the coolest thing he’s ever seen and demands to know how Techno does it
-So Techno basically teaches Tommy gymnastics and a little bit of parkour from time to time
-Tommy’s not very good at it but he doesn’t let that stop him
-Techno shows him self defense things only, he refuses to teach him how to attack people at such a young age, horrible memories
-Wilbur has shown Techno the basics of playing the guitar and even though Tech’s not that interested he still tries to remember and practice it
- The duels he attends are basically wrestling matches but illegal and sometimes done with swords
-They happen once a week so that how Techno gets his main source of money
Tommy: Street kid that somehow wormed his way into everyone’s hearts (He like 10 or something)
-Very loud and extroverted, likes to climb on shit and constantly falls out of trees
-Looks up to his older brothers a lot, he thinks they are so cool, (Even though he won’t admit it)
-Is the only one still in school
-Learns acrobatics and self defense things from Techno
- Like to be around Wilbur, especially when he is singing or writing songs
-Sometimes he’ll try to sing along with him
- He doesn’t always sound the best but it makes Wilbur laugh
-His best friend is Tubbo, he met him at school and his family has a small farm and raises livestock
-He spends a lot of time goofing around with Tubbo or ‘helping him’ with his chores
-He is insecure and wants to help his family more but doesn’t know how because they won’t let him dropout of school and don’t like it when he steals things
-He still does it, sparingly, mainly when he can tell they need help when Phil’s hospital job still pays him too little, when Wilbur doesn’t get enough money for his music or from playing on the side of the road or when Techno slips up in a duel
Phil: Trained Doctor and very tired, he is the main and most constant breadwinner of the family. (Age 24)
-Has been through medical school and had training even before that
-He has known Techno the longest and helped him with panic attacks and anxiety issues since the beginning
-Met Wilbur when coming home from work and heard Wilbur playing on the side of the street for music
-He wanted to tip Wilbur but didn’t have any money on him to do so, but said he would try to give him a little bit the next him he had the chance
-He kept coming back to hear his music, even bringing Techno a few times, they bonded and eventually figured out his they pooled the money they earned they could find an actual place to stay, not the lean- to that Techno had built in an alley to protect them from the weather
-Phil loves nature and wishes he could see more of it
-His favorite animals are birds, he likes to be in high places to feel the wind around him so he will go up onto the roof of their shitty apartment complex to relax in his free time
-Phil is very protective of his family and has taught all of them basic medical facts so they won’t bleed out immediately
-The hospital where he works is underpaid and unstaffed but he still makes money and he is helping people
Wilbur: Musician that tries his best (Age 17)
-Wilbur doesn’t know what happened to his parents, he just woke up one day and they were gone
-He still has his dad’s old guitar
-He dropped out of school because he couldn’t pay for it
-Sings on the side of the road in richer areas of town for more money
-He still does random odd jobs to help out
-He came from another county, jumped on the back of wagon and just went along with it
-He realized this was a mistake when it took 3 weeks of almost nonstop riding to get to the next town and he had to hide from the people he hitched a ride from
-He was able to afford a cheap hotel room for awhile but once he met Phil and Techno they stayed together
-It was just them for sometime then Phil and Techno came back with the Gremlin
-Wilbur and Tommy didn’t really get along at first but now they are very close
-Tommy tries to help him write songs, it’s always an interesting experience when he does
-Has sold his songs to others for a singular price, he knew it was a bad deal but they needed money
-Being in some of the richer areas means he’s closer to factories and more pollution, as a result of this he has a gross cough that just follows him through life
Side characters
Tubbo: Goes to the same school as Tommy
-He likes to collect things!
-He is very interested in bees even though he hasn’t seen them in real life, just pictures
- Him and Tommy will just wander the streets, they also help each other out with homework
Skeppy: Thief and a trader
Techno rescued him once while he was in a pinch and now bullies him for supplies when he needs them
Comes around to bug Techno every once and awhile but is the Family’s main supplier of tools for petty shit
Housing layout
-The boys live in a crappy apartment on the second floor, there are 5 floors in total
-There is a bathroom, two bedrooms and the kitchen and living room are just kind of squished together
-Techno and Phil share one room with Wilbur and Tommy in the other
-They have a giant padlock on the front door just incase
-The stairs are on the outside of the building, they are rusty and creak whenever you step on them
-The layout is funky but it gives you good access to the roof if you are willing to scramble up there (Phil is)

My Attempts At Making Unique Nonhumans Part 3: Halflings!
Taglist (just ask to be added/removed!): @hellishhin, @talesfromaurea
Part 3 of what is becoming a series!
•
General: Halflings are small but also big in a lot of funky ways. Like their proportions. Halflings often have big ears/feet/hands for their small bodies. They also grow at an accelerated rate compared to humans (their hair/nails/etc). This includes their height, even though it does stop usually no higher than 4’10 (which is really really tall for a halfling). Due to said accelerated growth/metabolism, they eat a lot, and often. A halfling given the opportunity and living comfortably probably would eat 4 or 5 (large) meals a day. The average halfling adventurer probably eats like Dwayne Johnson and then some.
Lightfoot: They have even bigger feet than the others! This is ironic considering their name lol. However the benefit here is that it helps them balance on otherwise hard to walk on surfaces like sand or snow, and some Lightfoot cultures have even adapted ways to use those feet for ridiculous acrobatics and tree climbing (like Fuego!). Also, Lightfoot is pretty much their name in Common only, very few Halfling cultures would actually call themselves that (and even other cultures usually have their own words). Lightfoot Halflings are the most commonly found living amongst other societies due to their ease of getting around beneath the radar. Lightfoot Halflings also have a remarkably good grip & coordination compared to even elves.
Stoutheart: The Stoutheart Halflings! These are your Samwise Gamgees, your little heroes with big hearts. (Hence the name.) The Stoutheart Halflings have a certain bravery (as mysterious and untraceable as the Halflings’ iconic luck) that often makes them stalwart allies and friends. This is how the Stoutheart make themselves at home in other cultures. Beyond this trait, Stouthearts also have an extended life expectancy (100-150 years) and an extremely strong immune system and generally have extraordinary health & fast recovery speeds. For the record this does not mean there are no chronically disabled stouthearts or anything like that, only that the average Stoutheart Halfling is better off healthwise than the average human.
Wanderer: The last subset of Halflings are the Wanderers. There are far less of these Halflings, and they rarely stay in one place, much less live amongst other cultures. The Wanderers tend to be your nomadic Halflings, your wandering caravans and tribes. Wanderer Halflings have an aptitude for living on the move, such as increased stamina and energy conservation techniques, as well as lessons passed down through generations in surviving the wilderness and the road. They also have a brain wired for multitasking (which helps them do tasks even as they navigate or etc.) and a strengthened connection to the movement of the wilderness, allowing them to reliably predict the weather, recognize when a family member or animal is sick, and a myriad of other things. (Wanderer Halflings get sleepy when it’s gonna rain, meaning they usually stop take a nap. So the Halflings lay down when it’s gonna rain, like cows. :D)
•
Halflings! I love them so much. Unfortunately they didn’t have a lot of unique features beyond being short and lucky, so now I have this! Yay! Reality can be whatever I want.
I’m not sure what nonhuman species to do next. What do y’all think?

Fate and Phantasms #92: Ryougi Shiki (Assassin)
Today on Fate and Phantasms, we’re making Ryougi Shiki again! Well, kind of. This is the other Ryougi Shiki, a human who wields the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception to cut down anything that gets in her way.
Check out this Shiki’s build breakdown below the cut, or her character sheet over here!
Next up: Santa Island Mask?!
Race and Background
Shiki’s a human, of course, but you share a body with the other Shiki, and we already made her a Kalashtar, so.... If it’s any consolation, you get +2 Wisdom, +1 Charisma, advantage on Wisdom Saves, resistance to Psychic damage, immunity to dreams, and the ability to Mind Link with creatures within a number of feet equal to ten times your level. You can speak telepathically without an action, or use an action to let them speak back to you for up to an hour. You probably don’t have this power in canon, but you’d be getting this either way thanks to your later class levels. Consider it a gift from Shiki.
You work for the Garan no Dou Agency as a House Agent, giving you proficiency in Investigation and Persuasion. You also get one of a set of tool proficiencies depending on the house you choose, but I’ll leave that decision to you.
Ability Scores
Make Intelligence your highest score- you fight through paranormal activity with a kitchen knife- you have to be pretty good at improvising. Second is Dexterity, your armor could charitably be called leather at best and your weapon of choice is even smaller than a dagger. Wisdom’s next; you need to be able to track down whatever you’re dealing with if you want to stab it. After that is Charisma- seeing the death of all things gives you a certain je ne sais quoi that makes you pretty scary. Your Constitution is a bit low, but you spent a lot of time bedridden in a hospital, so that’s not too surprising. Finally, dump Strength for the same reason, and because we don’t really need it for this build.
Class Levels
1. Blood Hunter 1: That’s right, you’re so far outside our normal servant builds you’re not even an official class! First level blood hunters get proficiency in Dexterity and Intelligence saves, as well as three skills. Acrobatics will help you get your knife where you need to go, Arcana will keep all the magical nonsense you deal with on a daily basis straight, and Insight will help greatly on your investigations.
You’ve also been subjected to the Hunter’s Bane, giving you advantage on survival and intelligence checks related to Fey, Fiends, and Undead. You also start learning Hemocraft magic, using your life force for extra magical effects. You can use your Blood Maledict to invoke or amplify a Blood Curse once per short rest. Pick up the Blood Curse of Exposure. When you react to invoke the spell, a creature loses its resistance to whatever damage types are hitting it until the end of the turn. If you invoke the curse instead, you take damage equal to your hemocraft die, and its invulnerability is reduced to resistance instead. Also, you can only use blood curses on creatures with blood unless you amplify it. Dread it, run from it, your knife still arrives.
2. Rogue 1: We’ll get back to the fancy magic in a second, but let’s jump over to rogue for some stabbing skills. When you multiclass you get proficiency with one skill; Intimidation’s a good pick, you’re pretty scary. You also get Expertise in two skills, doubling your proficiency bonus in Investigation and Acrobatics. You also get a Sneak Attack, adding 1d6 to damage done with a finesse or ranged weapon when you have advantage or another party member nearby. You also get Thieves’ Cant. It’s a language.
3. Rogue 2: Second level rogues can take Cunning Actions, using their bonus action to disengage, dash, or hide. You’re pretty mobile, even when you’re not part god.
4. Rogue 3: At third level, you get your rogue subclass. Soulknives use their funky mind powers to be very good at stabbing, which fits you perfectly. When you pick this subclass, you get some Pisonic Powers that use psionic dice. Each long rest, you get a number of d6s equal to double your proficiency bonus that you can spend on two features. Your Psi-Bolstered Knack adds the dice to a failed check, expending it if the check succeeds. You’re the main character in an anime, your skillset should be “whatever the plot needs”. Your Psychic Whispers lets you talk to another creatures equal to your proficiency bonus telepathically as long as they’re within a mile of you for 1PsiDie hours. The first time you use this feature per long rest is free, each extra use uses a psionic die. Again, you’re probably not telepathic in canon, but every other part of this class is a good fit, so just enjoy the extra gift.
You also learn how to make Psychic Blades as a part of your attack action, with the option to make another, smaller blade as a bonus action afterwards. These are thrown finesse weapons that deal psychic damage, because you’re not really cutting the person, but their death lines. The weapon vanishes after the attack, and leaves no trace on the victim. That last bit is probably more a graphical limitation of FGO than one of your abilities, but it makes your life easier so why complain?
5. Rogue 4: We’re using our first Ability Score Improvement to grab the Telekinetic feat instead. I’m pretty sure you don’t have your magical prosthetic in FGO either, but it’s still a canon power you have so let’s throw it in anyway. The feat increases your Intelligence by one, and allows you to cast Mage Hand without any verbal or somatic components. You can also make it invisible, and it can shove creatures, forcing a strength save with a DC of 8 + your proficiency + your Intelligence modifier, pushing creatures who fail 5′ towards or away from you.
6. Rogue 5: Fifth level rogues get an Uncanny Dodge, using your reaction to halve damage from an attack. That’s a nice kimono, it’d be a shame if something happened to it. Your psionic dice also grow to d8s at this level for higher skill checks and longer conversations. Your sneak attack also grows to 3d6 extra damage.
7. Rogue 6: Sixth level rogues get another round of expertise. Insight and Arcana should help out on your next investigation almost as much as your cool mind knife.
8. Rogue 7: At this level you’re so nimble you can perform Evasion; when you make a dexterity save to avoid taking damage, you take half damage on a failed save, and no damage on a success. It’s almost like you killed that fireball before it could even hit you or something. Your sneak attack also gets as high as we’re going to make it at 4d6.
9. Blood Hunter 2: We’re fast and have cool mind-stabbing powers, let’s bounce back to blood hunter for more mystic-slaying skills. Second level blood hunters get a Fighting Style, and the Dueling style will help improve the damage of your one-handed weapons just a little bit. You also learn how to activate a Crimson Rite, empowering one weapon with a bit of elemental juice. Doing this costs hp equal to one roll of your hemocraft die, currently a d4. We’re picking the Rite of the Frozen; cold damage is pretty close to necrotic, and that the other kind of damage I’d pick for MEoDP. Worth noting though; you can’t use rites on your mind knives, because those don’t exist between attacks.
10. Blood Hunter 3: Third level blood hunters enter their order for extra benefits. The Order of the Ghostslayer will make your powers strong enough to even kill things that are already dead, giving you the Rite of the Dawn immediately. This gives you another crimson rite, this one causing your weapon to shine bright light for 20′, grant you resistance to necrotic damage, and you deal an extra die of rite damage when hitting an undead. You also become a Curse Specialist, giving you an extra Blood Maledict use per short rest, and the ability to use unamplified curses on bloodless creatures. Very few things resist psychic damage, and even fewer of those things don’t have blood, but now I’m pretty confident in saying that nothing can escape your Mystic Eyes.
11. Blood Hunter 4: Those eyes of yours are cool, but they don’t mean much if you can’t hit anything in the first place. Use this ASI to bump up your Dexterity so you can hit things more often, and harder.
12. Blood Hunter 5: Fifth level blood hunters get an Extra Attack, letting you make two attacks in an action.
13. Blood Hunter 6: At this level, you can carve a Brand of Castigation on a creature when you hit them with your Crimson Rite. This means you’ll always know which way they are, and each time they hit you or a creature within 5′ of you, they take psychic damage equal to your intelligence modifier. The brand lasts until you dismiss it or make a new one, and can be used once per short rest. Even if you flub your first attack and don’t kill them in a single blow, getting stabbed in the soul is going to have some side effects.
You can also use your blood curses three times per short rest now, and you learn a new one as well; the Blood Curse of the Marked marks a creature for a turn, letting you deal an extra die of rite damage to that creature. If you amplify the curse, the next attack you make against them is done with advantage. They’re the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, not the Mystic Eyes of Injury Perception. If they’re not dead turn one, are you really doing it right?
14. Blood Hunter 7: Pick up another primal crimson rite this level; the Rite of the Storm will let you deal lightning damage; you can probably get away with this by just calling it a taser. You also get an Ethereal Step, letting you step between dimensions, moving through objects and creatures as difficult terrain. You take damage if you end your turn inside something, and your step lasts a number of rounds equal to your intelligence modifier. and can be used once per short rest. If anyone asks, you’re just moving really fast.
15. Blood Hunter 8: Use this ASI to bump your Dexterity up even further, for a higher AC and a better stabbing experience.
16. Blood Hunter 9: Ninth level blood hunters have a Grim Psychometry, giving you advantage on History checks to recall information about dark pasts, possibly even getting visions if you roll high enough. Retrocognition is more Tohno Shiki’s wheelhouse, but you’re already here, so there’s no reason to let it go to waste.
17. Blood Hunter 10: Your Dark Augmentation increases your speed by 5′, and you can add your intelligence modifier to all your Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution saving throws. You’re fast, and clever enough to not die easily. You also get a new blood curse, the Blood Curse of the Muddled Mind, using a bonus action to impose disadvantage on a creature’s next concentration save it makes until the end of your next turn. Amplifying this curse gives them disadvantage on all concentration saves made in the same amount of time. Your knife can cut anything, including magic. Bar a five level dip into wizard, this is the best you’re going to get.
18. Blood Hunter 11: Our last goody from the ghostslayer order turns your Brand of Castigation into a Brand of Sundering, causing the branded creature to take an extra die of rite damage on hits, and the creature can’t move through creatures or objects. That last bit is clearly meant for ghosts and the like, but that extra damage works on everything.
19. Blood Hunter 12: Since that augmentation fixed up all your physical saves, we can just focus on your HP for this last ASI. Grab the Tough feat for an extra 38 HP now, plus another 2 at level 20.
20. Blood Hunter 13: Your capstone level gives you a fourth Blood Curse use per short rest, and your Brand of Castigation/Sundering also becomes a Brand of Tethering, doubling the damage caused by the branded creature attacking you, and preventing the creature from dashing. Also, attempting to teleport or leave the plane while branded causes them to take psychic damage, and they have to make a wisdom save. Failing the save nullifies the teleport or plane shift. Portals are annoying, so you should cut down any that pop up.
Pros:
Between your Psychic Blades and Crimson Rites, you have plenty of options to turn a knife into a magical damage machine, in a variety of flavors to boot! This means you can deal tons of damage and avoid resistances at the same time.
Slapping sneak attack and rite damage onto a single strike means you’re very good at dealing critical hits. Plus you can just give yourself advantage in a pinch if you really have to, enabling big turns against key enemies.
You have proficiency in dexterity saves, evasion, and your two highest scores help out as well. Basically, you’re really hard to hit if they’re not aiming exclusively for you, and your AC means that you’re still pretty hard to hit even then.
Cons:
A lot of your damage comes from your Brand of Castigation combined with your Rites. This makes your psychic blades the most flavorful damage option, but least powerful one too, since they can’t have rites attached to them. It also means you’re only hitting your hardest against one enemy per short rest, but you’re a single target assassin, you’re probably used to being called in only for one boss.
Your HP isn’t that high until level 19, and even then you’re still eating away at your health to use your rites and curses. It’s not that weird to think that you’ll be the one doing the most damage to yourself if you’re not careful.
You didn’t invest much in Strength, meaning it’ll be easy for you to get pushed around by beefier opponents, especially before your Dark Augmentation.

Seeing that post, I am actually curious, how do you go about writing a fight scene? How difficult is it to visualize everything that is necessary to paint the action effectively?
Anon ! Thank you for this great question which will allow me to procrastinate writing said fight scene for at least five minutes instead of setting my computer on fire :
For me, like most of my writing, it starts with the characters + the emotional dynamic of the scene. What is happening between them ? What emotional process do I want to convey ? And so when I imagine/brainstorm the story in my head, I often have ideas for action that are centered around emotion. It’s a lot like a stage choreography - the beats should illustrate the story.
For instance : the fight between Lucas and Thorston, it’s sort of a theatrical performance ; Lucas wants to prove himself to the Vallès people, so it’s a sort of demonstration. So it’s very staged - one opponent makes a move, then another. A lot of the time when writing action scenes the first thing I have in mind is the dialogue and the character interactions - and the setting that will fit - the rest comes later. It starts with this training sequence where I show that Thorston is a bully asking Eliott to hurt himself. The general concept is that Lucas is a knight ‘jousting for the honor of his ‘lady’ (Eliott) who has been slighted, bc the chapter has these allusions to knighthood. But he’s also an underdog so I wanted his final victory to come as a surprise - so at first it starts like an unequal fight and then Eliott realises Lucas has been hitting all these strategic spots and Thorston crumbles - this is an illustration of ‘brain over brawn’ (also very inspired by the ‘five finger death punch’ in Kill Bill) - Lucas is physically smaller/shorter than most of his opponents and he compensates by being extremely smart and quick . The end goal is a feeling of satisfaction due to this reversal + Lucas proving himself + then Eliott makes his speech which shows he has a ‘hold’ over Lucas + there is this whole thing where Vallès has orchestrated this on purpose to get rid of Thorston for being a nuisance.
The catacomb fight sequence, on the other hand, is very chaotic, it’s in the dark, through Eliott POV and he is terrified, and out of his depth, but at the same, he also trusts Lucas so a lot of that sequence is him trying to figure out where Lucas is and following his guidance. It’s a bit of a trust fall - this whole bit is them really being together outside of the prison for the first time, and the overarching emotional aspect is that, right away, they fall into this sort of ‘battle intimacy’ where they have to immediately trust each other and they find that they actually really work well together. It also being mostly in the dark pushes them to rely on touch and hearing, which adds another interesting layer of closeness. Meanwhile, Nikolai Magnusson, is like this terrifying assassin figure that stalks them in the dark, so there is a very ‘primal fear’ aspect, they’re under the ground surrounded by dead people, I wanted it to have a bit of a horror movie vibe, so there is a moment where Eliott shoots him and thinks he’s down but then surprise, he’s not and he goes for them again and it’s this ‘oh my gooooood the serial killer is actually behind me!!!!’ moment and they run away without really knowing if he is dead or not, which adds to the lingering threat and atmosphere of pressure.
So then when I actually sit down to write, I have this general idea about a vibe and some ‘high moments’ I want to put in ; I know the purpose I want the scene to serve, the starting and end points. Now I need to figure out how to get from A to B to C, which is A LOT HARDER. A few things to consider : the characters’ abilities, the weapons they have at their dispositions, the constraints (are they wounded ? in the dark ? restrained ? are there any rules or is it a free for all ?) the environment (anything dangerous ? they can use ? a time constraint ? a bomb ? somebody to protect ? etc) and again, the character’s psychology and emotions (are they angry ? scared ? determined ? too arrogant ? etc). I basically put myself in the mind of the POV character and imagine what I would think and try to do if I was actually living the scene, focusing on the practical details. I honestly don’t write a lot of intricate fight choreography because this is just not my forte and i don’t really have the knowledge. Mostly I think about what would be cool and how to fit it in, and what the character NEEDS to do
For instance, Eliott doesn’t have a lot of fight experience, so when he actually wins a confrontation, it’s often due to the surprise effect - he has a very fierce streak under pressure - but I can’t put him in drawn out fights (yet). He also has a tendency to be overwhelmed and to get into his own head, which is like, very normal for a person without training. Lucas is different - the dude is supposed to be lethal and a bit of a legend so I have a bit more leeway when it comes to him doing crazy shit that shouldn’t be possible (lol) but again, his MO is to be smart about fights so I have to think ok what funky trick is he going to pull this time. What would make him look the most badass. Really, Lucas is all about the power of surprise, because again, his adversaries almost always underestimate him (or they don’t even see him coming). He’s like a stoat, small and uncommonly vicious. (look up ‘stoat dance of death’ if you don’t know what I mean lol) or like a blackfooted wildcat (which is called ‘adorable remorseless killing machine’ and is the smallest and deadliest wild cat) so it’s a theme that you can be very small and also very ferocious, and yes, i have been on a stupid animal documentary binge lately (animal fight club !! so fcking stupid). anyway, there is often a ‘what the fuck’ moment when he fights and also use of distraction. But it depends on context - again in the aforementioned fight with Thorston he is very elegant and precise because he’s showing off - but he started as a street fighter, ; using everything he has at his disposal, being ressourceful/inventive, ruthless, efficient, etc. Like in krav maga ‘use a pen as a weapon’ etc. He’s also very very attentive to his surroundings, alert to see if there is anything he could use, and he tries to analyse the moves of his opponents. (credit to the 2 krav maga lessons i took in my life lol). And then there is Daphné who we haven’t really seen fight yet, but she’s an acrobat, so that would come into account, etc.
I also have to do a lot of back and forth because what often happens is I get an idea for a solution (really a fight scene is a series of problems to set up and solve) so I have to go back in the story and make sure they have their guns/whatever they need for the scene and that there is proper foreshadowing. It’s often the logistics that drive me a little crazy because I get to a point and I’m like...okay and how would they do the thing I need them to do ? And you always have to have this back and forth between the perspective of your POV character and their enemy because you don’t want either of them to be purely reactive or to act stupid just because it’s easier (i mean, if they’re not supposed to be stupid)
I read this good writing advice idk where that said, basically, in action scenes, the more details you have, the more it feels important. So like, when the characters are just trading blows, it’s ok if you’re not super precise. However when things change - like the balance of power shifts, there is an upset, something that carries character significance, etc - it’s good to be more descriptive -it’s like the writerly equivalent of slow mo when everybody is holding their breath. I mean, it’s good to have a general idea in your mind of where everybody is and how they react but it’s not like a movie, it’s ok if you don’t have a super precise beat by beat rendering in your head. At the same time, a fight scene is not the time for super introspective character beats, you have to kind of transcribe the fact that everything happens super fast and there is this sense of complete focus on the action and so you don’t want too many distractions where you pause to describe the scenery, etc etc.
So yeah idk I’m still trying to figure it out I guess ^^ because honestly I still feel like action scenes are some of the most difficult things to write, making everything make sense is hard !!!! hope this made some sense tho and was a bit interesting.
ok now i’m back to the story ^^ have a nice day/night anon ! <3
