it's actually a very common misconception, because the misconception has been intentionally perpetuated by antis, that proship means "problematic" or that a person who says they are proship personally ships anything that antis specifically don't like, which can include things like age gaps, incest, etc. they might or they might not. that is not even part of the definition.

proship: literally pro (supporting, in favor of) shipping (imagining fictional relationships between characters for funsies).

Even though it may seem silly, these labels do not mean the same thing! Each one has its meaning and use even though they sound "similar".

Proshipper:

A person who is "pro" (for) shipping in general. Typically refers to someone who follows the philosophy "ship and let ship" and ignore or blocks ships or shippers they are uncomfortable with. An anti-censorship stance that promotes currating your own experience online, and avoiding any content you don't want to interact with, while supporting the rights of others to create and consume any type of fiction they enjoy.

Your basic "idea" would be:

curate your own internet experience
