My sunny boy Ira Aslaam! He’s an Ifrit Warpriest from another pathfinder campaign I’ve been playing for a bit. He’s a sweet guy who likes being positive, helping people, and loves animals. Also he has a big bat that he can make hurt more than it already does because magic.
So far he’s smashed rotting zombie dogs and cats scarring him for life, fought his own god during which she cut his sister’s hand off [she got a new hand it was chill], been thrown into an inky horror river to a land of death and dust filled with shambling undead, and fought a dragon in a bog of corpses and rancid stank... but also protected a town from rampaging gods, worked with his party to save several others who’d likewise been cast into this strange land, brought greenery and life back to a little bit of that dust bowl, and been given a gift and encouraging words directly from his god.

DnD ability scores explained with tomatoes. Alot of the subreddits have rules that help to make them appropriate for all ages. Ive never seen a NSFW post in a DnD or Pathfinder subreddit and the rules always include respecting others. From what ive seen they are quick to deal with anyone being a jerk and your son may be able to read these subreddits. As for finding a group of peers his age, i wouldnt really know how to help you. Also i think you should give it a try, DnD can look boring but it really is anything you can make of it and your son probably has an amazing imagination to DM the two of you.... Do you have an opinion on this? Share it! NPC IDEA
Loustyn Fown'd (Pronounced Lost n found)
Mythical peddler who picks up forgotten items. There are a couple ways you could use this:
1. Sometimes players forget they have items and never use them. If a player hasn't used an item in an amount of time determined by the DM, they have to roll a check (DC depends on how important the item is either to the player or the story). If they fail, they have lost the item (a DC 15 perception check will allow them to specifically know they've misplaced something). This item goes to Loustyn Fown'd and if they want it back they'll have to somehow figure out how to find him and retrieve it.
2. Like any other shopping episode, the party stumbles upon a strange merchant. This is Loustyn Fown'd. He has many weird items that people have lost or forgotten over the years. Maybe there are items from the character's youth. The players can get any of the items (whether originally their or not) for free if they can successfully convince Loustyn that it was once theirs.
