DNDADS !!!! I'm assuming you're asking me like . what it is n shit . if not . my b . bcs I am about to give you as big of an infodump as I can without spoiling anything lmao .

anyways hello my dear follower , my beloved dungeons and daddies (not a bdsm podcast) is my favorite thing ever <3 it's usually very loosely a dnd podcast , season three tho switches into the call of cthulhu system .

season one is 69 (nice) episodes about four normal world dads and their sons who all get sucked into faerun , a dnd world basically , through a portal while trying to go to their kids soccer game lmao . they end up losing their kids and basically the whole season is them trying to find their kids and then trying to find a way back home with tons of little side quests and detours that they take along the way . most of it is super comedic and lighthearted and it's also just fucking insane sometimes but it also has a lot of super compelling emotional moments and iughencmd it's so good oh my god .

season two is a continuation of the world created in season one , but now the players are playing as the teenaged grandchildren of their original dad characters , and it's heavily influenced by season one so you can't really listen to it on its own . season two is 50 smthin episodes of these teens basically trying to clean up the world after the things that their parents (aka , the kids from season one , aka , the kiddads) and their grandparents did between seasons to try and fix things and kinda ended up making everything worse cbnsndnsnd and it kinda starts off with the kiddads all going missing and suddenly these teenagers are supposed to be in charge of everything the kiddads were originally doing to fix everything . season two is I think a bit less comedic than season 1 , but it does have like . twice as many of those absolutely fucking insane moments lmao , and it does still have a lot of cool emotional moments and ougjfj it's all so good .

a lot of what I post abt usually has to do with this sort of untold season that happened between seasons with the kiddads . a lot of people are very attached to the kiddads , and to me a lot of it is bcs these are the characters we've known for the longest and we've seen them as kids and we see how the events of the first seasons shaped them into the adults they are in season two and man . it's just so cool . season two gives us a lot of small hints to stuff that happened between seasons , and we get a few flashbacks , but there's a lot of stuff that we don't know , and there's so much speculation abt how things happened and it's a very fun sandbox to play in chwndnsnmxx anyways .

season three started just a bit ago , there's 3 episodes so far . they switched who was the dm and so it's a new universe with no relation to the first two seasons , and could pretty easily be listened to on its own . season three is set at some point in the 1950s , and the four characters don't really have like . a solid thing they can all be described as . there's like . a teacher and a weird wife and a car salesman and a teenager . they're great . but it's these four characters who are all in a bowling league together and they're kinda figuring out that hey weird stuff is happening around here and there's monsters and just a ton of stuff and so far it is absolutely hilarious , I love it dearly <3 every character is just . fucking insane . and the dynamic is great , it's just awesome and I personally am having a blast with it so far

ok anyways . thats dndads lmao . if theres anything more specific you want to know literally pleaaaaase ask me and I will be soooooo excited to tell you cndnmxmdmd I'm completely and utterly obsessed with this podcast , I've listened to it . so many times . I will talk about it any chance I get , it's just great . I love it . and that's not even to mention the wonderful community here on Tumblr !!!! it's a relatively small fandom , so for the most part everyone at least recognizes everyone else , and everyone is just so awesome , ive made so many friends through this fandom , its great

Lincoln Li-Wilson has no idea what he’s getting himself into really. Sure he's slept over at Taylor’s huge house many times before, but this was the first time over that Linc was the only one able to attend. Normal had cheer practice early the next morning, Scary was on a trip to see her grandparents in Maine, and Hermie never responded to the message. Linc was pretty sure it's because they just didn't want to go, since that's usually the case if they ignore plans. Normal had talked about it with them to make sure they didn't feel left out.

But, because of the rest of his friends being busy this weekend, Lincoln found himself alone with Taylor. It's not like he and Taylor haven't spent time together outside of the group, they’d gone to see movies together, and gone shopping, it wasn't uncommon. But the difference of it being a sleepover was way more intimate than anything else they’ve done together. Linc was a bit nervous, and this time he couldn't just shut it off like he's started doing whenever anything is too much. (He’s been told many times that's unhealthy anyway. Fucking talk-ta-pus.)

god that is a hard question to answer, i love all of my fics a lot bfdgfjhdbghjd i think... the first fic to come to mind was, naturally, my beloved your love is tried and true-blue. normscary <333 AND my glennry soulmate fic as well, so where do we begin? hmmm... the johnny spells thing comes from a very personal space, and its a fic that i thought about for literal years, so its very near and dear to me in that sense as well. and on our dates, it's never daytime is a super self-indulgent fic that i reread a lot because its so perfectly targeted at myself lol same thing for fall (back) in and i love mine, mine, mine for more recent examples. uh. okay thats a lot of rambling LOL those i guess :3

Week Two Sign-Ups Update

Hey folks! We figured we’d pop in and give you guys a little look-in to how everything is going on our end, now that sign-ups have officially been open for just a little under 2 weeks! 

First of all we want to thank you all for the engagement you’ve given us on our posts, especially once sign-ups opened. It’s so exciting to see other people also excited about this event! As of today we have officially reached 40 sign-ups, which is absolutely huge. 

We also want to thank the people who have left kind words for us on the sign-up form. It always makes us smile :) we’re having a blast behind the scenes putting this together and absolutely can’t wait to get the ball rolling further. We’re just blown away by not only how talented everyone who signed up is, but by how passionate and creative they are as well; if you haven’t, we really do recommend signing up! Skill level absolutely doesn’t matter, because when there’s so much passion for this podcast? It’s all gonna be great.

5/18/24 Saturday

we've been gone these past few days! things have been a bit exhausting lately so we haven't rlly gotten to writing one of these in a bit, so here's a double log to summarize things a bit...

((5/16/24 Thursday))

we finished up psych testing until june! we're deciding to keep it all till after school is out. testing was interesting, after our first day of it, where AL was our main fronter, she had gotten very stressed out so we ended up getting a few caretakers (Me/Avery and Henry) to front this time around, as well as having Barty with us to help with some math stuff since that's one of his strong suits/interests. this way we were able to get through it pretty well this time around! after a bunch of the misgendering stuff happening the day before as well, it was good to have Henry around since he's pretty adamant about putting up boundaries with people, especially when others in the system are not.

luckily we didnt need him to speak up much, im assuming it's because our dad had said something after the day before? who knows, that man never tells us anything...(we appreciate the sentiment though, vry lucky to live w/ ppl who are accepting of lgbtqia+ individuals)

afterwards...we all spent some time in front during the drive home to recuperate, got made fun of by teenagers for being british, the only kid who didnt gang up on me was Barty (he is also in fact british) otherwise for the day, we mostly just hung at home and tried to relax after the tiring day...Taylor fronted for the most part, they've been playing Project Sekai, Honkai: Star Impact, and some other games on our ipad lately so...he's a pretty good alter to have in front during down time,

not much else happened besides us eating dinner and Taylor playing more games and then we fell asleep

and we're back to school!!! yesterday was a pretty uneventful day for us, it was a field day/sports day...so no academics or classes, but we get chronic joint pain and stiffness in our legs and hands/arms that makes us unable to be active (we're unsure of why this is...we're currently undergoing medical testing) so we were exempt from participating lol... but since no academics, we were allowed to just sit in the hallway/study hall area and be on our ipad

because of this i (AL) did the drawings/art of Ashton i posted on here a bit ago, while bothering the fuck out of him, as well as working on some dndads fanart i posted on me and Sock's fandom blog, and worked on some fanfic writing...Taylor fronted for a bit to play some video games, then we were able to leave school early!

we drove home w/o event, then packed and headed over to our Mom's house, Sock fronted for a bit to talk to his Mom, then Taylor, Norm, and Scary all popped in to play some video games before dinner, we ate dinner, then I got on a call with our friends and talked abt Stardew Valley for a bit, Ash also popped in to talk for a bit and to meet one of our friends' gf, because they consider him their 'father' (/hj) and wanted to see if he approved of her, (he did) we had to sit out on the balcony for privacy during the call...and because of that i got off after the mosquitos kept fkin snacking on me,

then, Taylor and Scary fronted for a while to play on Pony Town, as well as I, and then we get to now! have yet to go to bed for the night (tho it is already technically Saturday) but will probably do that soon since we are very exhausted from the day and week (two more weeks left of school!!)

I'm actually so excited that I'm running my sideblogs because I feel like im finally contributing something to the fandom that people actually enjoy :D

mostly regarding my dnd one because mcyt is such a large, and somewhat competitive fandom, but dnd is less rabid (not to say that mcyt fandom is so in a negative way! just very eventful). I feel like im not super pressured to create content to keep up with current events.. and also dndads episodes are released on a consistent schedule so I know what to expect in that fandom lol

now fingers crossed I still have time to do this even when I'm at uni full time aaaa
