Dagger Heels

Wondrous Item, rare

“Black, elegant, high heeled stiletto shoes with more straps than are actually functional. They wrap and lace halfway up the shin. It would take a very dextrous and skilled fighter to wear these in combat.”

The heels of these two shoes conceal a dagger +1 that is Immune to the Detect Magic spell. You must use a Bonus Action to draw one of these daggers before you can make an attack using them.

You can use your Action to make an attack against a creature with the Prone condition if at least one of the daggers are in the heels of these shoes. When attacking with these dagger shoes, you are considered proficient, and the attack uses your Strength or Dexterity, and counts as a finesse weapon.

Attacks against creatures with the Prone condition have a +5 bonus to the attack roll, +10 bonus to the damage roll, and can score a Critical Hit on a roll of 18, 19 or 20 on the d20.

A combination of two prompts that I feel connect pretty well. In this case, I took the idea of how many people you would need to kill to take the iron in their blood and forge a sword out of it. A ritual pretty "necromancy" if you ask me. So, today I bring you not only a sword, but also a spell.

Gloomstinger (rapier), Rare

Be one with the shadows… Gloomstinger is a thin, exquisitely crafted black-steel rapier with a blade that seems to waver like smoke in the air. The hilt is adorned with dry leaves, like black rose petals, and a dark gem in its pommel that causes the weapon to emit a faint, swirling mist even when not in use. Gloomstinger was forged in the Shadowfell for a clandestine order of assassins operating within the Zhentarim company.

Halting Sword -- Weapon (Greatsword), rare.

Abyssal Adamantine: This is a +1 adamantine greatsword.

Halt: Upon striking a target with this weapon, you may use your bonus action to force the target to make a DC 14 CON save or be paralyzed until the end of your next turn. The target may repeat the saving throw at the end of their turn. Upon a success, the target is immune to this effect for 6 rounds.

So hear me out. I REALLY love Retrievers and I decided to design a sword based on one. What do you think? Good weapon? 🤔 I may design more magical items based on monsters like this in the future!
