Our DM gave us a shared bag of holding.
It's called the "Bag of Sharing" and we each got a fanny pack type bag that meets the big one that one of us carries. So all of our items and supplies can get shared.
Today, one of our party members stored a martini in her bag, and another party member dipped his hand in it.

Sanguine Slicer (any sword), Very Rare (requires attunement by a spellcaster)
Day 10: Ceremony/Ritual & Day 29: Necromancer / Prompt list by @faith_schaffer
A combination of two prompts that I feel connect pretty well. In this case, I took the idea of how many people you would need to kill to take the iron in their blood and forge a sword out of it. A ritual pretty "necromancy" if you ask me. So, today I bring you not only a sword, but also a spell.

A magic item for use in Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition tabletop role-playing game. This is a homebrew magic item created by Cloaks and Capes.
Ceto’s Half-heart Necklace
Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement)
“A pendant in the shape of a heart that has been broken down the middle. On the back is half an inscription that bears mention of a sisterly bond.”
You have Resistance to one of the following damage types: Fire, Cold, Lightning, or Acid. You choose which type after finishing a Long Rest.
When an ally you can see takes damage of the type you are Resistant to and they are within 60 feet of you, you can use your Reaction to give them Immunity to that damage until the end of your next turn, including against the triggering damage. When you do this, you lose your Resistance until the end of your next Long Rest.
Stay Close, Sister. If you are within 30 feet of someone wearing Kaslantel’s Half-heart Necklace, you gain a +1 bonus to your Armor Class and saving throws.
If the two halves of these necklaces are placed together, you can cast the Resurrection spell through them, destroying both necklaces in the process.

Pillory Bells
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pillory Bells, Uncommon
This metal band has 1d4 bells hanging from it when found. While wearing these bells at the start of your turn creatures within 15 feet of you that can hear the bells must make a (DC12) Wisdom Saving throw or have disadvantage on attacks made against you. At the end of their turn creatures can repeat the saving throw to break the effects of the bells, becoming immune to its effects for the next 24 hours. With each bell on the band the DC increases by 1 (to a maximum of 6).

Do you think cursed swords wants blood of our enemies, cos they slorp iron from our blood?
And bigger and stronger enemies like dragon's have more blood in them, therefore also more iron in their blood. In result, making cursed swords stronger the bigger enemie you fight. If that true, would a sword like that grow stronger after bathing in octopus blood, as octopuses blood contain more copper than iron (that way it's blue). Or would it just refuse to slorp it, or would it change the composition of the sword.
Do cursed swords want material that they were originally made of. If that true, wouldn't that make cursed sword just big magnets.

Putting the Omnitrix in DnD
Tumblr media
The original purpose of the Omnitrix was to give the user access to the DNA of aliens from various worlds to preserve the DNA of a species in the event of a genocide or mass extinction. The watch fused to one person, was extremely hard to remove, and its default setting gave the user access to the DNA of 10 different species they could choose between. Aside from Humanoid, there are 13 total creature types: Aberrations, Beasts, Celestials, Constructs, Dragons, Elementals, Fey, Fiends, Giants, Monstrosities, Oozes, Plants, and Undead. In the spirit of Ben 10, I’ll make a list of 1 creature from each creature type that the watch can turn a player into. Playable races vary a little. Kenku, Grung, and Drow are all CR 1/4, but Changeling, Satyr, and Hobgoblin are 1/2, and Bugbears are CR 1 creatures. So, I’ll be considering everything within that scope. Some do go beyond that, such as Centaurs and Minotaurs, but most are within the window of CR 1/4 and CR 1. To give the DM and Player some variety, I’ll pick one option from each, if applicable. Celestials had to be eliminated because the lowest CR Celestial is CR 2 Pegasus. In-Universe, it was likely created by Mordenkainen.
ITEM:
BRACELET OF POLYMORPH
VERY RARE | ATTUNEMENT REQUIRED
The DM chooses any 10 possible transformations from the list below, only choosing 1 from each creature type. As a bonus action, you can activate the bracelet, becoming one of the creatures chosen by the DM. You use that creature’s stat block instead of your own, except you retain all languages you know, and your INT, WIS, and CHA are not affected unless the creature’s are higher than your own. If the creature you turn into does not speak any languages, you cannot communicate verbally while polymorphed by this item. Depending on the CR of the creature you turn into, the recharge rate of this item varies. For a CR 1/4 creature, it recharges on a short rest, on a CR 1/2, it recharges at dawn, and for a CR 1 creature, it recharges after 1d4 days. You can stay in the form of a CR 1/4 creature for up to 8 hours, a CR 1/2 creature for up to 4 hours, and a CR 1 creature for up to 1 hour. If your hit points in this form are reduced to 0, you return to your original form with your current hit points at the moment you transformed. The DM decides what the bracelet polymorphs the player into, and may ask the player for a contested INT check against a DC 15 to coax the bracelet into cooperation. Otherwise, the bracelet may choose to polymorph the attuned into a different creature than the one they wanted to turn into.

DnD idea:
An NPC that improves your more novel magic items, but requires certain materials and some funds to do so. Say the party gets a box of infinite matchsticks. But they are old matches. They don’t always light on the first try. They are not waterproof. They won’t light when it is too cold. The party can first upgrade them to EZ light matches. Then ones that light in the cold. Then waterproof matchsticks. These quests can often require going to places like somewhere cold to get materials the locals use to light stuff. They can do this with lots of items and you can create quests this way.
If they try to sell matchsticks door to door, let them. But once the NPCs find out they are infinite, they hose the party for the price. “Wait they are infinite? You just open and close the box upside down and twenty fall out? I’ll take 300 for one small copper coin.” Then there is that one old guy who insists on counting out all 300 matches. There might be a few people like that who lose track and the party has to teach them grouping to count faster.
It’s a free action in combat to take out matches, not to light them. Takes 6 seconds to take out 20 matches when they are taking out a large amount outside of combat. So 300 is 1 minute and 15 seconds. Basically they can exploit but it is painful.

Fancy finger spell focus
So i had a Impulsive thought, what if in dnd, artifical finger nail spell focus. So how a person would craft this spell focus is similer to how someone makes the nails, but you use the spellfocus crystal, and add that into the nail creation. So now every time you cast a spell, youre new finger nails, may glow a color everytime you cast a spell, and since every nail has a cyrstal you can also choose what nail to use and glow.
For my character timere, they/maybe he) would have motions of his/their fingers and hands depending on the spell cast,
Example: He/they cast message, one nail glows green, he/they cast chill touch, 5 nails glow and he does an attack motion, and if he casts fear all nails glow as he slowly makes a bear claw like pose as the spell is cast to look intemedating
And then magic item wise you could also have spell imbuded finger nails that work like spell imbued tattoos

Gloomstinger (rapier), Rare
Day 6: Smoke / Prompt list by @faith_schaffer
Be one with the shadows… Gloomstinger is a thin, exquisitely crafted black-steel rapier with a blade that seems to waver like smoke in the air. The hilt is adorned with dry leaves, like black rose petals, and a dark gem in its pommel that causes the weapon to emit a faint, swirling mist even when not in use. Gloomstinger was forged in the Shadowfell for a clandestine order of assassins operating within the Zhentarim company.

A magic item for use in Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition tabletop role-playing game. This is a homebrew magic item created by Cloaks and Capes.
Kaslantel’s Half-heart Necklace
Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement)
“A pendant in the shape of a heart that has been broken down the middle. On the back is half an inscription that bears mention of a sisterly bond.”
You have Advantage on saving throws using an ability score of your choice, which you choose after finishing a Long Rest.
When an ally you can see makes a saving throw using the ability score you have Advantage to and they are within 60 feet of you, you can use your Reaction to have them succeed instead. They take no additional negative effects for a success (such as half damage). When you do this, you lose your Advantage on saving throws for that ability score until the end of your next Long Rest.
Stay Close, Sister. If you are within 30 feet of someone wearing Ceto’s Half-heart Necklace, you gain a +1 bonus to your Armor Class and saving throws.
If the two halves of these necklaces are placed together, you can cast the Resurrection spell through them, destroying both necklaces in the process.

{So, I decided to draw the Wild Spinner.}
Tumblr media
It is a metal, bowl shaped object with engraving on it, as well as an overhang at the top to keep the disc from coming out. It has the words WILD SPINNER on the side, is covered in engraved patterns, and the central disc has a cylinder at the top for easier spinning.
[Image ID and wild magic table below the cut.]
[ID: A top-down image of a circular object with elegant patterns and a notch rhombus inbetween the 2 circles the main body is made of, as well as a dark circle in the center. Below it is an image of a shape similar to a bowl, with a dark rectangle on the top middle, more engraving, and the words WILD SPINNER on it. Below that is writing:
Instructions:
1. Spin the metal disc as fast as you can.
2. Either wait for it to stop, or stop it manually no more than 5 seconds after it is spun.
3. Observe.]
