Okay, so I gotta know, does the firework guy in baldur’s gate normally detonate the entire lower level of his shop when in combat, or did the ai just have enough

Oh, respeccing my boy to give him some fighter levels may have been a slight mistake. This isn't fighting anymore, we're just bullying people.
I feel SORRY for the BHAALISTS now. REALLY weird feeling.

I've seen a lot of clips of Impulse subjecting skizz and everyone to psychic damage, but none of my favorite part of that bit

Yu Gi Oh Shugo Chara Crossover. Who gets a Gaurdian Character. Who is the best … Uh, card player? Card person? … All I know about Yu Gi Oh is that the Dark Magician Girl card had a cute design.
I mean when you think about it, wouldn't Atem be Yugi's guardian character? Albeit a murderous one to start with, and even after character development--(/yeeted)
Seriously, though! Anzu would definitely have a ballerina, somewhat girly guardian character, given her dream to be a dancer and how the show portrays her as a somewhat of a 'tomboy' (by 2000s standards, anyways). I feel like her chara's name would be Yoko with the kanji: 謡子
Shizuka, who's portrayed as a meek, sweet girl would definitely have a 'punk'-ish, rebellious guardian character. Why? Because as quiet and as shy as Shizuka is made out to be, there's at least two instances in the anime where someone tells her not to do the Thing and she straight up does the Thing right in front of them! Granted, it ended badly in one particular case, but Shizuka is a lot more rebellious than you'd initially think for a formerly blind girl. (Or maybe she's rebellious because of being a formerly blind girl! That's my interpretation.) But I digress, Shizuka's guardian character would be called Eiko with the kanji: 江威子
As for Shugo Chara characters that would be good duelists? Ikuto and Kukai, hands down. They'd both run powerful decks, but Ikuto would particularly focus on handtraps and causing his opponents to brick constantly, while Kukai would be more of a brute force player, dive right in and hit you as hard and as fast as possible.
Yaya, I think, would also be a wildcard. I feel as though she'd pull off a Meffly or Marincess deck with devastating results if she had the inclination for it! Utau would run a Trickstar deck, but I'm not so sure she'd take the game seriously unless she had to, i.e. a life or death situation. (So, par for the course in YGO, whoops)
Thank you for the ask, anon~

i must look very insane when i'm saying "my gf" and full-on using she/her pronouns whenever i talk about gale. like whoever's reading my notes would think "oh she has a girlfriend?" but nope i am fully talking about a wizard man in a game

watching the BG3 cast play DnD is so funny. the first combat happens and it's like chickens with their heads chopped off. wyll casts darkness and immediately runs out of it leaving karlach inside, gale casts ray of frost for 2 dmg against the boss despite receiving guidance from shadowheart, laezel whiffs her first two attacks bc she's too busy yelling at gale and then in the middle of all this pandemonium, neil newbon is just like, "ASTARION DOES A SICK HEEL SPRING JUMP OFF A TABLE 360 NO SCOPES THE MONSTER WHILE WINKING AT GALE WITH DOVES FLYING BEHIND HIM. 15 POINTS OF DAMAGE."
just. the mental image of this utter chaos, punctuated by astarion being like, "oh shit, the protagonist's incapacitated? MY TIME TO SHINE~"
