i wanna post riverdale stuff that a certain someone hasnt seen yet so new tag: DLRS (Dont Look: Riverdale Spoilers)

I fully support Pluto as an aro symbol (x) but as a space scientist I cannot support any arguments that claim it's because Pluto should be a planet. The true reason Pluto is an aro symbol is precisely because people tie the amount of love and care this wonderful celestial body receives to which label it has. Just because a relationship with someone is not labeled as romantic should not mean that this relationship has to be treated as less worthy of time and care and effort. Just because Pluto is not labeled as a planet does not mean it is less worthy of our time and care and effort.

Here is another reason Pluto is aro: Pluto has a heart shaped region called the Tombaugh region:

Now, Pluto and it's moon Charon are tidally locked, meaning they always face each other with the same hemisphere. Pluto's heart is always facing away from Charon. Some articles have phrased this as being tragically romantic, but I disagree! Here are two celestial objects orbiting each other for billions of years, and they are doing this while Pluto keeps it's heart hidden. Because in this case, love is not part of the equation that makes up their bond, romance does not play a part in their gravitational pull towards each other. That's aro as fuck, in my humble opinion.

The Fantasyland Autopia operated from 1956-99 in various iterations at Disneyland, separate from the Tomorrowland Autopia. Given its location, it had the benefit of some amazing trash cans that featured the popular "Waste Paper Shield" design (late 1950s-1960s). This style featured a large shield design on the front-facing side of the can, anchored by the words “WASTE PAPER” and illustrations portraying a broom and dustpan. Approaching Canary Wharf- the view from the front of a DLR train.

Despite riding the DLR (the Dockland Light Railway) in London around every other day, the overgrown kid in me still gets a thrill from sitting at the front of these driverless trains and pretending to drive. Obviously it being the Summer holidays, I had to elbow my way past several small children to enable me to sit in this prime position! 😉

I will never get over how good Cheng Xiaoshi is

CXS is the embodiment of a kind person. Every single thing he's done has been an attempt to help others, even if it doesn't work. In times when it doesn't, he makes it his own responsibility to make things work out (ex: realizing that he had a small hand in Emma's fate and trying to find several ways to change it).

I find his kindness to be different than the kindness of other main characters with powers. A lot of main characters with similar traits to CXS are the way they are because a heroic role was forced onto them, or that they were taught to be that way, or a tragic incident led them to want to help others.

This is not the case for CXS. CXS has no role or responsibilities with his power. He, LG, and QL, are literally just college graduates that are fucking around and finding out. He can do as he pleases with his power, and he chooses help others.

And this guy's got little to no upbringing. He was abandoned, he's brash and rude. But still it is his first priority to help the people around him.
