Christmas market : TASM! Peter x reader

Christmas bingo day 3 : christmas market

Christmas market in new York was, hands down, one of the best in the world. At least that was what Peter kept on telling his girlfriend, while nearly dragging her to it. Y/n was not the greatest fan of spending time in the crowd of people, due to her shyness and a bit of social anxiety, but had to relent when he gave her that pretty begging smile. How could she possibly say no to the friendly neighbourhood Spiderman after all.

Besides, after spending an hour circling around the stalls and looking at all those Christmas decoration, she slowly started to change her mind and getting into the Christmas spirit. All to Peter's amusement, especially when she absentmindedly started humming a Christmas song coming from the speakers.

"What?" She chuckled biting on her chocolate covered strawberry "you wanted me to have fun, wish granted."

"You're so out of tune!" he grinned fixing her scarf making sure she was not cold and the simplicity and care coming from this gesture made her eyes sparkle at him. But there was no way she was going to let him win this one.

"oh, I'm out of tune now? And who are you to judge me, bugboy? Vivaldi?"

"nah, I'm just the boyfriend, who heard you singing under the shower enough times to actually get an opinion".

"hey! What happened to friendly neighbourhood spi-?"

Before she could finish the sentence he leaned forward and kissed her making it impossible to reveal his secret identity. And, knowing how sensitive Peter was with keeping it on the DL, she might have done this on purpose.

"you'll be the death of me y/n" he pulled back after a while but still keeping her in his protective embrace. It was like the world around them stopped existing for a while as they both got lost in each other's eyes.

"Don't worry, not gonna happen. You got enough villains coming at you as it is. However, while we're on the subject of risking lifes- how about we take a ride on the wheel? Id love to see the city panorama from up there" she looked up at the night sky illuminated by the stars.

"actually I got a better idea..."

A few minutes later they were swinging in the air on Peter's spiderweb. Y/n closed her eyes, grabbing onto him with one hand, clutching her cap with the other, barely holding back from screaming. She should have been used to this form of transportation by this time but it always made her want to throw up. Especially since he never gave her a warning, just scooping her up in his arms and taking off like a freaking fly and not a spider.

"dont worry y/n. Not letting you fall." Peter said his voice distorted by the mask. "besides, you said you wanted to see the city panorama, didn't you?" He laughed as they landed keeping hands on her waist preventing her from getting dizzy and falling down.

"And you took that as a hint to show off." She scoffed struggling to find the balance even despite his firm grip. "I wanted to have some Christmas atmosphere but it didn't mean swinging by the rooftops and - oh!"

She stopped abruptly when Peter grabbed her chin softly and turned her head to the side of the Christmas market below them.

Multicoloured lights everywhere, crowd of people walking in many different directions, Christmas music that could be heard even up high, ice rink, wheel and the huge christmas tree sparkling in the dark really did bring up a Christmas atmosphere. And Peter knew she liked the view from here much more than she would appreciate it from the carousel.

"show off..." She muttered again raising on her tiptoes and pecking his cheek causing him to grin like a teenager in love.

"hey did you get me that -?"

"i did. You couldn't be more obvious"

Of course he had an hidden agenda, when he made her walk past the same gift stall four times in fifteen minutes talking about the gift choosing and how much easier it would be to actually be told what the bestowed person wanted. So yes, it was pretty easy to take the hint.

"can I get my present now then?" Peter asked with eyes glistening with excitement

"here" she leaned forward and kissed him again.

"not that I'm complaining but--"

"not before Christmas eve"

"but y/n!!"

"with great power comes great responsibility." She laughed

"what does that have to do with -?"

the reason there's the shrugging guy over identity theft is because like TECHNICALLY speaking amon using 'coriandrum farrah' as an alias is 'identity theft' but he's also like... stealing his own identity... in some ways. its kinda weird so like technically he has but also not really. depends on how you look at it.

honestly i feel like im much less passionately opinionated about grian ships (in particular scarian or grumbo) than other ppl?? they don't occupy my thoughts 24/7 but i do think their dynamic is really cool and grian and scar specifically has a really tragic storyline in there if you look at it through the lens of the life series.

my knowledge of mumbo/scar interactions is very limited since i only watch a bit of hermitcraft but i can def see why ppl like these three together.

but uh yeah 3L desert duo is sad yaoi, LL grumbo is two sillies and what should've been grians recovery arc turned gruesome really fast, DL is the sad yaoi turning into toxic yaoi because both of them have suffered too much and Limlife is whatever Limlife is. Buttercups was them forming a street gang.

okay, but can you imagine Jamie with one of those, like, slow living influencers. Like the cottagecore lifestyle video people.

Cause like, first of all, I feel like that relationship would just be cute. I feel like Jamie would secretly love someone who encourages him to slow down and just be himself. And like, baking cute cakes and stuff with Jamie would be the absolute dream.

Maybe he starts helping you out with videos just for fun, but you're both still keeping it on the dl. you both know that the media would probably go kind of wild about your relationship because it isn't what anyone would expect of Jamie, or honestly of you, although you're not anywhere near his A-list celebrity status. Still, you both just like each other.

I imagine that it would get out through your videos. Maybe you both decided it was time, and you left in a clip of him kissing you on the cheek in a video, or maybe you just missed the fact that he was visible in the mirror of a video and fans flipped out.

Either way, I think that the two of you would sort of be glad that you could be openly mushy on your socials, despite the press complications it may bring.

No because I think about Jamie dating like a micro-influencer often because I just think that dynamic would be adorable. Like leaving little hints in your videos like keeping his hands or his shoes in a shot, or mentioning that your boyfriend was next to you while filming something and like the soft launch potential!! But omg yes when you finally decide you’re both ready for everyone to know about you, it’s definitely all cute and artsy and everyone loses their shit and posts things like “*your name*’s secret boyfriend being Jamie Fucking Tartt was not on my 2023 bingo card” and god once this man can posts pictures of you/with you, he never fucking stops because he just wants the whole world to know that he loves you and that you’re perfect and wonderful in every way

Wallace and DL doing the do while body swapped after researching ways to change back and in the meantime as Gromits fixing the machine they read about anatomy and Wallace is surprised by all the extra nerves in a biological female body (DL is biologically female but identifies as either trans or non-binary) and DL complains about not getting to completely enjoy finally being completely male for the first time in their life and this leads to the two of them consider the inconsiderable since they’re friends, they’re in each others body’s so it only makes sense.

Character opinion bingo - Dalamar?

Can you tell he's my favourite? He's my favourites. The first DL book I read was Dalamar the Dark and since then I have loved loved LOVED my morally dubious Dark Elf bastard. A lot of my characterisation of him come from that book- more serious and ruthless and yes, evil, even if he does end up helping the good guys.
