suspiciously silent on killing plantation owners. the statute of limitations is up. the government that would prosecute you has long fallen
i just remembered you're like a billion years old. i have so many questions about the 19th century wolverine.
did you get to kill plantation owners. do you remember where you were when you heard lincoln was shot. did you read charles dickens books as they were coming out. inquiring minds want to know
19th century huh.
I don't remember much.. I remember sharing a copy of the origin of species for the first time. For the first time, what me and Vic were going through made a bit more sense.
I remember getting a car for the first time.. 1890 something? That was nice, being able to get to places faster than a horse.
Surprisingly, I do remember finding out Lincon was shot. Victor was devastated. We read about it on a street not far from Central New York.
#was my wolvie not a champion of freedom??? scandal#i'm picturing a django unchained aesthetic of coming in and wrecking shit#rp blog#deadpool#deadclaws

when did you get into westerns and what is your favorite? i realized i've been into space westerns since starcraft and firefly, but didn't really start digging into americana westerns until recently, even though i always loved the aesthetic of deserts, mountains, and the frontier. my favs are django unchained and no country for old men. really wish there were lots of lesbian westerns lol
Omg I’ll have to look into those
Idk I’ve always been obsessed with the aesthetic
I watched a lot of animated movies based in the old west like spirit and home on the range etc
I also liked tombstone a lot
Im just now trying to get into the old western classics and books
Im ordering backwards to Oregon which is a lesbian western book!!!!

Here's a fairly solid amount of all the different kinds of media that I think both can fit well in and could share the same universe as one of the greatest TV shows of all time, David Chase's The Sopranos, which you can both read and see below for yourself:
• Tom Fontana's Oz (HBO)
• David Simon's The Wire
• Vince Gilligan's Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul & El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie
• Kurt Sutter's Sons Of Anarchy & Mayans MC
• Todd McFarlane's Spawn (HBO) Trilogy
• Chris Carter's The X Files (first nine seasons), The X Files: Fight The Future, Millennium & The Lone Gunmen
• Joss Whedon's Buffy The Vampire Slayer & Angel
• Christopher McCulloch & Doc Hammer's The Venture Bros. & The Venture Bros.: Radiant Is The Blood Of The Baboon Heart
• Remedy Entertainment's Connected Universe (Max Payne Trilogy, Alan Wake Duology, Alan Wake's American Nightmare & Control)
• Quentin Tarantino's Tarantinoverse (Reservoir Dogs, True Romance, Natural Born Killers, Pulp Fiction, From Dusk Till Dawn, Curdled, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill Duology, Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight & Once Upon A Time In Hollywood)
• Larry David & Jerry Seinfeld's Seinfeld
• Christopher Keyser & Amy Lippman's Party Of Five
• Winnie Holzman's My So-Called Life
• Linwood Boomer's Malcolm In The Middle
• Mitchell Hurwitz's Arrested Development (first three seasons)
• Dan Schneider's Drake & Josh, Drake & Josh Go Hollywood & Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh
• John Cleese & Connie Booth's Fawlty Towers
• Dylan Moran & Graham Linehan's Black Books
• Rob McElhenney's It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
• John Carpenter's Big Trouble In Little China
• Bryan Fuller's Pushing Daisies & Hannibal (NBC)
• Damon Lindelof & Carlton Cuse's LOST
• Jeff Pinkner & J.H. Wyman's Fringe
• Greg Daniels' The Office (U.S.)
and last but not least,
• Michael Schur's Parks and Recreation
The universe does what The Sopranos did (and did so wonderfully) and that's both balance and explore different tones, styles and aesthetics.
Each media shows the various different sides to this world that's similar to ours but is much more larger than life.
Plus, in case anyone's wondering, Pawnee is seen as a joke by the rest of the world which yeah it is.

Which Quentin Tarantino film would some of the Skins characters like?
I had no idea how to answer this so I fed it into ChatGPT to see what it would come up with. Do we think it did a good job? I kind of love that it decided Effy and Freddie both like Kill Bill the best.
Generation 1
Tony Stonem: "Pulp Fiction" (1994) Tony is charismatic, confident, and enjoys being in control. "Pulp Fiction" is known for its nonlinear narrative, witty dialogue, and complex characters—elements that would appeal to Tony's sophisticated tastes.
Sid Jenkins: "Reservoir Dogs" (1992) Sid is often seen as the awkward and lovable underdog. "Reservoir Dogs," Tarantino's debut film, features a group of criminals with distinct personalities, much like the friendship group in Skins. Sid might appreciate the film's exploration of loyalty, betrayal, and unexpected alliances.
Cassie Ainsworth: "True Romance" (1993) Cassie is a dreamy and romantic character, drawn to the notion of love and escapism. "True Romance" is a love story with a dark twist, involving a pair of star-crossed lovers on the run. Cassie might be captivated by the film's blend of romance, violence, and Tarantino's signature style.
Chris Miles: "From Dusk Till Dawn" (1996) Chris is known for his wild and reckless behavior. "From Dusk Till Dawn" is an action-packed film that starts off as a crime thriller and later shifts into a vampire horror movie. Chris might enjoy the film's mix of adrenaline-fueled action and unexpected genre shifts.
Jal Fazer: "Jackie Brown" (1997) Jal is intelligent, talented, and ambitious. "Jackie Brown" is a crime drama that centers around a smart and resourceful flight attendant caught up in a money-smuggling scheme. Jal might appreciate the film's strong female lead, intricate plot, and Tarantino's homage to blaxploitation films.
Maxxie Oliver: "Death Proof" (2007) Maxxie is a talented dancer and openly gay character. "Death Proof" is a homage to exploitation films, featuring strong female characters and thrilling car chase sequences. Maxxie might enjoy the film's stylish aesthetic and empowered portrayal of women.
Generation 2
Effy Stonem: "Kill Bill: Volume 1 & 2" (2003, 2004) Effy is enigmatic, mysterious, and carries an air of danger. The "Kill Bill" films follow a vengeful assassin seeking retribution against those who wronged her. Effy might resonate with the films' themes of revenge, resilience, and the complex dynamics between the characters.
James Cook: "Inglourious Basterds" (2009) Cook is rebellious, unpredictable, and often involved in confrontations. "Inglourious Basterds" is a WWII film that showcases a group of Jewish-American soldiers seeking vengeance against Nazis. Cook might appreciate the film's audacious storytelling, intense dialogue, and explosive moments.
Naomi Campbell: "Django Unchained" (2012) Naomi is intelligent, politically aware, and passionate about social justice. "Django Unchained" is a revisionist Western that explores themes of slavery and revenge. Naomi might appreciate the film's exploration of racism, its sharp dialogue, and the strong performances by the ensemble cast.
Emily Fitch: "The Hateful Eight" (2015) Emily is compassionate, introspective, and has a strong sense of justice. "The Hateful Eight" is a tense and dialogue-driven film set in a post-Civil War Wyoming blizzard, featuring a group of strangers with hidden agendas. Emily might be drawn to the film's moral complexities, suspenseful atmosphere, and character-driven narrative.
Katie Fitch: "Natural Born Killers" (1994) Katie is bold, impulsive, and occasionally manipulative. "Natural Born Killers" is a controversial film that delves into the media's obsession with violence and celebrity culture, following a pair of murderous lovers on a killing spree. Katie might be intrigued by the film's exploration of societal issues, its frenetic editing style, and its dark satirical commentary.
Pandora Moon: "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" (2019) Pandora is eccentric, bubbly, and often lives in her own imaginative world. "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" is a love letter to the golden age of Hollywood, set in 1969 Los Angeles. Pandora might be enchanted by the film's nostalgic atmosphere, charismatic performances, and its blend of fiction with real-life events.
Freddie McClair: "Kill Bill: Volume 1 & 2" (2003, 2004) Freddie is a laid-back, free-spirited character with a love for music. As mentioned earlier, "Kill Bill" might resonate with Freddie due to its stylized action sequences, strong characters, and a story driven by themes of revenge and redemption.
Thomas Tomone: "Jackie Brown" (1997) Thomas is a thoughtful and introspective character. "Jackie Brown" revolves around a complex heist plot and features characters with hidden motives and intricate relationships. Thomas might appreciate the film's nuanced storytelling, its exploration of moral ambiguity, and the strong performances by the cast.
JJ Jones: "Pulp Fiction" (1994) JJ Jones, often referred to as "JJ," is known for his quirky personality and sense of humor. "Pulp Fiction" is a nonlinear crime film with a darkly comedic tone, featuring interconnected stories and eccentric characters. JJ might appreciate the film's witty dialogue, unconventional narrative structure, and the blend of violence and humor that are hallmarks of Tarantino's style. (I had to give it JJ twice because it mixed him up with Cook).
Generation 3
Franky Fitzgerald: "Kill Bill: Volume 1 & 2" (2003, 2004) Franky is a complex and introspective character who explores their own identity throughout the series. "Kill Bill" could resonate with Franky due to its themes of self-discovery, vengeance, and the journey of a strong female protagonist.
Mini McGuinness: "Death Proof" (2007) Mini is portrayed as manipulative and calculating, with a strong personality. "Death Proof" is a film that explores themes of power dynamics and features strong female characters. Mini might appreciate the film's feminist undertones and its blend of action and suspense.
Grace Blood: "True Romance" (1993) Grace is depicted as a sweet and kind-hearted character who values love and romance. "True Romance" is a love story with a dark twist, which might appeal to Grace's idealistic and emotional nature.
Liv Malone: "Pulp Fiction" (1994) Liv is known for her rebellious and free-spirited nature. "Pulp Fiction" is a cult classic with unconventional storytelling and a mix of dark humor and intense moments. Liv might resonate with the film's non-linear narrative and its portrayal of characters living on the fringes.
Rich Hardbeck: "Reservoir Dogs" (1992) Rich is an introverted and mysterious character with a love for music. "Reservoir Dogs" features a group of criminals with distinct personalities, and the film's focus on a botched heist and its aftermath might intrigue Rich's analytical mind.
Alo Creevey: "From Dusk Till Dawn" (1996) Alo is portrayed as carefree, fun-loving, and somewhat mischievous. "From Dusk Till Dawn" starts off as a crime thriller and then takes a supernatural turn, which might appeal to Alo's sense of adventure and his love for excitement.
Nick Levan: "Inglourious Basterds" (2009) Nick is known for his rebellious and impulsive behavior. "Inglourious Basterds" is a WWII film that follows a group of Jewish-American soldiers on a mission of vengeance. Nick might appreciate the film's themes of rebellion, justice, and its stylized action sequences.
Matty Levan: "Jackie Brown" (1997) Matty is often portrayed as mysterious and enigmatic. "Jackie Brown" revolves around a heist plot with intricate relationships and hidden motives. Matty might appreciate the film's complex characters, morally ambiguous situations, and its exploration of trust and loyalty.

10 films I love
tagged by sweet @zurdoabsurdo I'm so sorry for being so late :')
I gave it a lot of thought and in the end only the first few are big big favourites, the others are just films I've seen recently or remember enjoying otherwise I'll be thinking about this forever.
Parasite (2019). I only saw this somewhere last year but from that point on I've already had multiple friends watch it with me, it's so fun and every time I watch it I swear I notice new things. I love the plot and the way it balances it's more serious tones with the comedic ones. Big big big love for Parasite.
Snatch (2000). This and Parasite honestly share a number 1 spot together, this has been my favourite film since I was 15 or so I think. It's just so stupidly fun, there's not a single second I've been bored while watching it. It's my ultimate comfort film. Just as with Parasite, it manages to be funny but still has a few more serious moments. Soundtrack has Angel by Massive Attack so that's a good bonus too.
Hot Fuzz (2009). Another big comfort film! Though I pretty much enjoy anything that Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and/or Edgar Wright are involved in. I love the dumb humor and the town it takes place in reminds me of my own sometimes, which makes the experience so much better.
Shaun of the Dead (2004). The only reason this one is below Hot Fuzz is because of the latter's town residents. Also I just enjoy police/crime/cult stories more than apocalypse ones. World's end isn't on here because I still have not completed watching the Cornetto Trilogy.
Donnie Darko (2001). Love me a film where literally everyone (at least kind of) sucks. Gotta be one of my favourite genres. So many theories as to what the film's various scenes and ending mean and represent. Anyway, 28 days left!
Fargo (1996). Again, love me some crime in my entertainment. So strangely endearing at times for a film that's described as a thriller though, the police woman and her artist husband have completely stolen my heart when I watched it.
Midsommar (2019). Very very pretty and visually interesting film, I love all the art on the walls and the little runes embroidered in the dresses. I'm a person that's easily swayed by pretty visuals and even more so if that includes flowers/florals. So I really enjoy the costumes and aesthetic, go figure.
Call Me By Your Name (2017). Most interesting to me is the fact that it's about a temporary love, I don't feel I've seen that often without the film ending in the couple getting together at the end despite all odds or something. And to me the 'temporary' relationships/situationships/whatever you want to label or name it, are just as valuable and worth telling stories about. So I'm glad I could find that in this film, plus the pretty scenery that remind me of going on vacations as a kid.
Pulp Fiction (1994). Yeah yeah my taste is boring I know, I just like my crime drama's. Also, I want to kiss Mia Wallace.
Django Unchained (2012). Banger soundtrack with the exception of one song that felt very out of place. Again a serious film with a funny side. Western costumes drive me absolutely wild.
Anyway, tagging @nachitoesmuybonito , @jasonsnowwhitebrody , @kettleghost , @bluewaterlily , and I don't know anyone else right now that I haven't seen tagged already. Sorry in advance if it turns out you did already get tagged before :') As per usual, don't feel pressured to participate.

I LOVE THIS!! The dad from Tangled is so gentle and tender, I cry every time at the lantern scene.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan is definitely the aesthetic I picture too, I used Russell Crowe (way back in the day) for Zey for Tumblr RP more in the vein of the “rough and tumble” Zey. I need an actor that can do both!! sighs
Waltz as King Schultz (Django Unchained) is kind of the blend of polished/rough, but he’s fully gray and a little old for Repcomm timeline.
But yeah I need someone distinguished… but stressed… can win a bar brawl… also teacher/professor vibes…
As a joke I love the idea of Chris Pine’s street style for post Order 66 Zey (unemployed, life ruined, has to find clothes from the bin on the Altis ship):
(Sorry I hate posting pap photos/candids but it’s just very funny)
My headcanon stats and thoughts for Jedi Master Arligan Zey that no one asked for:
Age: 49. He seems older than Obi-wan, but is only 'graying' by the end of The Clone Wars so he's not that old.
Height/Build: 6'4. He's described as a "large, muscular man" with "huge" hands. I could go taller... but... then Bardan (a foot shorter) would never be in frame in my mind's cinematic universe. In Order 66 when Zey is angrily tracking down Vau to ask him why Kal got beat up, he's described as a 'giant hawk-bat of a man.'
Physical characteristics: All we know is he has a beard, his hair is "shaggy" in 501st, and he's graying. That's... it. So I'm going with mousey brown hair. Hazel-brown eyes, with crow's feet. He has a long, straight nose and a prominent brow. Zey is, as I previously described, "kinda handsome."
Alignment: Lawful good. He's close-ish to lawful neutral, at least when he's dealing with Kal (see: turning a blind eye to the terrorist op in Triple Zero, also asking Vau to spy on Kal which I'm not saying was a smart move but it's... not lawful good!)
See how we err toward lawful neutral/true good/true neutral? Very mindful.
Facecast: Christoph Waltz: This is who Krad based her Zey art off of! He has had a pretty long acting career so it's nice to see lots of pictures at different ages.
Zey at the start of the war before the light has left his eyes (Waltz is a little older than my Zey headcanon age btwfyi)
More thoughts in no particular order:
I think Zey is a little less refined and a lot more rough and tumble, he seems deeply uncomfortable with the desk job as Director of Special Forces and gets visibly upset/angry at a few points in the book. He's capable of being the diplomatic Jedi, but he's also been described as crashing through conversations.
I have about a dozen more points to cover but this is already getting long, so consider this my Arligan Zey primer. More to come!

[HEADCANON/FAN THEORY #5]
Fuck off with the Tommy Westphall theory as far as I'm concerned.
Over several hundreds of media from movies to TV shows to video games to even comics are all set in the same insane shared universe as each other that deal with multiple different tones and aesthetics.
I personally call it "The Wildwood Universe" and a mere some of them are the ten you see above exactly as is:
• Chris Carter's The X Files Series (First nine seasons, Fight The Future, Millennium and The Lone Gunmen)
• Joss "Yikes!" Whedon's Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel
• Todd McFarlane's Spawn Trilogy (HBO)
• Tom Fontana's Oz (HBO)
• David Simon's The Wire
• Damon Lindelof & Carlton Cuse's LOST
• Vince Gilligan's Breaking Bad Trilogy
• Kurt Sutter's Sons Of Anarchy Duology
• Jeff Pinkner & J.H. Wyman's Fringe
• Remedy Entertainment's Connected Universe
And that's just TEN! Here's an extra five:
• The Entire Quentin Tarantino Universe (Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight, Inglourious Basterds, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Reservoir Dogs, True Romance, Natural Born Killers, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill 1 & 2, From Dusk Till Dawn and even both Curdled and Michelle & Romy's High School Reunion)
• Neil Gaiman & Lenny Henry's Neverwhere (BBC Mini-series)
• Takahiro Omori's Baccano!, Durarara!! and Durarara!! x2
• Bryan Fuller's Pushing Daisies and Hannibal
• Travis Knight's Wildwood and The Night Gardener
It's this idea that led me to come up with an entire idea for a TV show, an adult animated TV show to be specific, The Wildwood Chronicles, and it unintentionally and unexpectedly became my passion project so who the hell would've thought.
