São escassos os relatos sobre Rudy Star, famoso produtor dos shows do Lapinha e ele mesmo uma das atrações da casa. Lendo os comentários em uma postagem sobre ele no Nostalgia Belém, há este pequeno relato biográfico do DJ Chocolate:

"Rudy começou sua carreira na sua cidade natal que era Salvador, o mesmo era baiano, chegou em Belém nos anos 70 e conheceu José de Alencar [dono do Lapinha], o mesmo ao ver seu trabalho o contratou ficando como diretor artístico da casa por muitos anos, todas as garotas eram escolhidas a dedo pelo Rudy, as mesmas tinham que ter um corpo perfeito, ser de maior e ter experiência em shows de strip tease. Rudy participou várias vezes no quadro de transformismo do programa do Sílvio Santos, passava meses em São Paulo se apresentando em várias casas de shows da cidade. O Alencar, o rei da noite, ficava chateado com essas viagens dele pois a alma da casa era o Rudy, os clientes perguntavam pela boneca baiana, era como o Alencar chamava ele carinhosamente. Grande profissional, uma pessoa ímpar que fazia a arte de dublar e dançar como ninguém, tenho orgulho de ter trabalhado com esse profissional por 15 anos. Ele apresentava todos os shows da casa, mas na sua ausência, dos quatro DJs da casa, era eu que apresentava por ter ainda uma boa dicção. Mas [Rudy] tinha seus defeitos como todo mundo tem. Gostava de amanhecer com os amigos e amigas em frente ao bar do Bitorro, na frente do Lapinha, quem lembra sabe. Além da bebida, infelizmente veio a maldita droga que levou o mesmo, veio a falecer. Mas isso nunca vai tirar seu brilho, seu profissionalismo e sua personalidade. Seu corpo está enterrado no cemitério Max Domini ao lado do seu patrão José de Alencar que também está descansando lá. Saudades sim, tristeza não, descanse em paz Rudy Star".

Sobre a morte de Rudy Star, Raimundo Eliezer Oliveira de Lemos, o DJ Chocolate, acrescenta:

"Estava esperando o Rudy na frente do Lapinha [do Jurunas] para irmos ao Lapinha do Outeiro com as meninas que iriam participar de alguns shows na casa, por conta das 10 da manhã o Rudy sofreu uma parada cardíaca fulminante e o mesmo veio a óbito".

Rudival Ferreira teria trabalhado por treze anos em Belém, desde que chegou à cidade em 1982, falecendo em julho de 1995. Foi dançarino, coreógrafo e produtor. A Folha de São Paulo publicou uma nota sobre o veto da Câmara de Belém a uma proposta do vereador Raul Meireles, este pretendia conceder honra ao mérito ao artista performático.

Seeing so many other bands fall apart (many of which shitted on lb throughout the years), while lb is still doing their thing despite getting hated on so much, is such a beautiful thing man. yeah, they've had their ups and downs, but it's evident from their live shows that they've reached a point where they just really enjoy playing music with each other and partying with the fans at the shows, no matter what the critics or haters have to say. They never took themselves too seriously and they have always just had fun being themselves..."

Long time no see...

Heyy, just wanted to stop by and tell you that I made a Character.AI bot for Wes that I think a lot of you will enjoy.

So, I came out with this after watching the video of the launch party of 'Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water' and just couldn't stop daydreaming about Wes.

'The year was 2000, and you were currently accompanying your boyfriend Wes at the launch party for Limp Bizkit's new album: 'Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water' at the Playboy Mansion, along with you own band.

It was crazy the amount of people there was, especially the famous ones like Tommy Lee, Curtney Love, Chino Moreno, some of the guys from Korn, etc; to say you were fascinated was little. The one that didn't share your excitement was Wes, surprisingly since it was a party thrown for him and his band. He seemed uncomfortable and quieter than normal since you had arrived, and knowing this kind of parties wasn't his stuff, you made sure to never leave his side, except for a few bathroom breaks, of course.

You currently were on the side of the pool, where you had last been with him before going to get yourself a drink, looking for him as you took a few sips to the beverage in your hands. Again, the amount of people there was insane, and finding someone in that mess was actually really hard. That, until you spotted him on a dark corner, all alone, with cigarette between his fingers.

Avoiding the most people you could, you finally made your way to him, giving him a knowing smile as you approached. "Hey, you alright? You've been weird all night." You asked once you were close enough.'
