I guess this tumblr is just me documenting my live reactions as I watch dramas, here’s inside my head while watching the last 4 episodes of Blossom:
Ep 31
is her dad the biggest idiot on this show or a secret scheming mastermind?
ugh I thought we were shot of Lady Wei when her brother died
and why did Ji Yong have to go evil?? naughty boy and not in the fun way *shakes finger at Ji Yong*
the emperor sucks, I can’t wait for him to die
I don’t know what to think of Ji Yong anymore. like he’s keeping Dou Zhao safe but the way things have gone I can’t put it past him to let Song Mo die
this episode made me so angry, I want to smack so many smirks off of so many faces
Ep 32
Dou Zhao’s dad’s backbone always grows only when its way too late to really matter
I literally squealed “PUPPY!” because I am a cliche
oh god whatever this substance is I hope Song Mo can hold onto his sanity and stab Evil Eunuch Guy in the face
do you think spitting blood is written into every studio contract? what happens if an actor or director wants to try conveying illness/injury some other way?
this dream sequence!!!!
grandma’s back! girl where have you been shit’s been going down and could use a little matriarch smack down energy
did anyone else notice that the moon isn’t magically full in this episode? doesn’t actually matter to anything but it makes me laugh to notice what the moon does in cdramas
are they trying to make uncle out to be a good guy? a double agent of some sort? I don’t understand and I don’t buy it. he’s horrible and deserved a much shittier death
honestly this version of house arrest looks divine
Ep 33
I’m glad An Su has finally started recognizing that the flags are RED red but I fear t won’t end well for her
why do poisoned emperors always put things together when they’re about to die and not, like, the one of the first five times their wives smile evilly at them?
ohhhhhh okay so empress does have a backstory and now I totally support women’s wrongs. kill that rotten man!
this idiot emperor I—
how do you make taking medicine romantic? well you make one of them dying and delirious and the other trying to save them by doing mouth-to-mouth delivery of the medicine. like with a baby bird.
I’ve decided the white hair is hot, but it’s more that he’s hotter the less put together he looks. cuz this “I’ve been delirious but got tumbled by my wife” look with all the tendrils is a good one
there have been so many tertiary dude characters in this show I don’t even remember who this Gu Yu is or why he cares about Song Mo or why he’s easily convinced to commit treason
wait! Dou Zhao what are you doing there, this is so obviously a trap I can’t even
well this was obviously a trap, I shouldn’t have doubted…or should I have? oh no, I shouldn’t have
except that’s a lot of soldiers
FINALLY someone stabbed Evil Eunuch Guy!!!
are Song Mo’s soldiers wielding…trees? what am I looking at?
okay folks final episode!!!
so Ji Yong didn’t go evil? phew that’s a relief
damn that acupuncture point must really be something else
“kindly return” in Dou Zhao’s letter to the crown prince is honestly peak comedy
I’m sorry did you see that man duck because he somehow KNEW his wife was about to save his ass? destined for sure
Song Mo that punishment is DIABOLICAL my jaw DROPPED
“do you really want to leave me?” sir you are old and an idiot and his wife is beautiful and puts out. it’s really no contest
OH FUCK YEAH AN SU!! (I guess this is supposed to be emotional but honestly I feel bad exactly zero amount)
the emperor gave him the antidote? wait ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT AWFUL MAN HAD THE CURE THE WHOLE TIME
ohhhhhhhh. *grumble* I still don’t like him
I’m honestly surprised that we weren’t all terrified when we found out Dou Zhao was pregnant because with genes like that any child would be an absolute terror (affectionate)
personal headcanon: An Su and Official Su are girlfriends. (took til the last episode to find a decent sapphic ship but I’ll take it)
and they all live happily ever after yayyyyyyyy
I had a great time with this drama! Nothing spectacular or awe-inspiring, but highly entertaining and beautiful to look at with a satisfying ending, plus a well-matched, drama-free main couple. I’m glad MZY and LYR are getting their due for it!

“I dunno how you have the head for all of this stuff.” Tsugumi studied the counter, gaze flicking over the various herbs and… other matters of medicinal importance. Boil one root for so long, slice another flower at the stem—something, something.
She dared not disturb anything, however, just watching the other work.
“Guess the centuries help, but do you ever make mistakes?”
Rosy gaze of the divine briefly rested themselves upon the imposingly towering feminine figure seated next to the counter before the moonkissed leporid returned her focus once more to the various assortment of herbs and set of tools consisting of cutting board and knife, mortars and a small pot to be used as means to extract the essence of her herbs by boiling it in a hot water. Without taking off her focus from the diced dried ginseng roots upon the cutting board, she returned the woman’s sentence with a placid response, “It is a duty of mine that has been assigned since my conception, and perhaps, passion.”
The worn-out pile of notebooks that had been around for centuries, as well as various aged diagrams of human anatomy and acupuncture charts patched on the walls behind the counter, they served as a testament of her centuries-old ongoing work and passion. Moving the cut ginseng roots into the mortar, she applied pressure to crush them into a fine powder — she meant to create a brew intended for generalized health and stamina improvement. “And I think mistakes are always bound to happen, no? I admit, I am not perfect.” Trial and error were even necessary to experience in order to improve.
“Mistakes are human, after all. Even gods and immortals are not free from doing such.” Coming from an immortal such as herself, her statement came off as an earthly introspection. She was leaving out the part where gods were more often less inclined to be reflective about their mistakes due to their hubris, however.

Here’s “Jade” Yu Ying/嬴玉
Here she’s 5th year and she’s a Slytherin 🐍🐍🐍
Her favorite subject is Potions, because it’s most like traditional Chinese medicine brewing. It makes sense to her and is familiar.
Least favorite subject is Charms and Divination. Charms because the British magic works differently than what she’s used to. Divination because it’s also hard for her to rationalize.
Her favorite teacher is Professor Howin. Professor Howin was actually a childhood friend of Jade’s grandmother and she finds comfort in a familiar adult presence. She also soothes her homesickness.
Jade doesn’t participate in any school clubs but her hobbies are healing and acupuncture.
Jade always wanted to be a healer, especially since she was cursed at a young age and she needs medication to keep it dormant. The curse was also the reason for her late manifestation of magic. But she was taught healing since she was little and actually enjoys it.
She collects herbs and store it in her personal apothecary in her ROR. She also brings around her acupuncture kit. (Which she uses to help Anne).

Sirius, Pleiadian dimension:
The main purpose of Pleiadian Lightwork is to open and activate your Ka Channels, which pull high-frequency energy and light from your multidimensional holographic self to your physical body. This activation opens the necessary pathways in your body for your Master Presence, or Christed Self, to come in, as well as making the possibility of ascension versus physical death. The alignment of your divine self and your physical body raises your vibratory rate, energizes your acupuncture meridians for physical balance and rejuvenation, accelerates your spiritual evolution, activates your electrical light body, increases the flow of cerebrospinal fluid throughout your central nervous system, clears neural pathways, and stimulates emotional healing.

Lama Fera Healing vs. Reiki, Acupuncture & Yoga: Which is Right for You?
Lama Fera Healing is a powerful spiritual healing modality that focuses on restoring inner balance by channeling universal energy. Unlike Reiki, which relies on hand placements and symbols, Lama Fera deeply engages spiritual energies for transformative healing. Compared to acupuncture, which uses physical stimulation, Lama Fera works on an emotional and spiritual level. Yoga, though beneficial for mind-body harmony, requires consistent practice, while Lama Fera often provides healing in a single session. With its unique blend of mantra chanting, visualization, and divine energy invocation, Lama Fera stands out as a profound alternative healing method. Whether used alone or alongside other healing practices, it offers a holistic path to well-being. Discover how Lama Fera compares to Reiki, acupuncture, and yoga, and find the best healing approach for your needs. Learn more at Healing World.

¶ … Applying Watson's Nursing Theory to Assess Patient Perceptions of Being Cared for in a Multicultural Environment" describes the validness and authentication of the nursing theory of care by Jean Watson. She was of the view that the best which a nurse can give to the patient is care as humans are naturally gifted with it and it is irrespective of ethnical, racial, cultural or social basis. The article describes the implications of this theory in such environment where the nurses and their patients have ethnical and cultural difference and they do not even understand each other's language. It is a case study designed to explore Saudi patient's perceptions of important caring behaviors by staff nurses. It was concluded by the data obtained that the patients rated overall caring behaviors as most important irrespective of their cultural differences with the caregiver. Hence Watson's theory was proved in a multicultural environment, but it is recommended that nurses should be provided with the assistance in foreign language so that they can better take care of their patients (Wakifa et.al 2009). The article "Virginia Henderson's principles and practice of nursing applied to organ donation after brain death" describes about the Need theory of Nursing presented by Virginia Henderson. She argued that main needs of humans should be addressed in nursing practice as a central focus and nurses should take care of the patients whole-heartedly and devotedly. Nurses should be provided with more knowledge and techniques so that they can better understand and fulfill the needs of patients. If nurses are adequately aware of any patients' brain death, then with the consent of the family, they can transplant the organs according to the needs of other patients. But for this purpose, they should be specialized in these areas. This concept is as according to Henderson's theory that the donation process will contribute significantly to transferring the gift of life from one human being to another via nurses (Nicely 2011). The article "Therapeutic modulation of the psycho-neuroimmune system by medical acupuncture creates enhanced feelings of well being" described Martha Roger's theory of Science of Unitary Human Beings. The theory relates the impact of environment over the nursing practices that nurses should be creative enough to tackle with the modern techniques in medical science and should always look beyond the scope. Hence nursing's main focus should be environment rather than health care. The article describes changes in psychneuroimmune system with respect to surroundings by reviwing worldwide literature and it was observed that medical acupuncture is closely related to Roger's conceptual model as these advanced techniques can assist in well being of a pateint (Allan 2006). On the whole, the three articles revovle around the same concept, i.e., nurses should be provided guidance and assistance in new emerging technoligies and should be prepared according to the scenario in which they are going to work. By doing so, they can do their job in a better and explicit way, i.e., they can take care of the patient as required, they can remain fully aware of the needs of the pateint and moreover, nurses can assist the pateint in times of stress and psychological disorders which can be treated by medical acupuncture technique. Nursing is a divine profession, taking care of each other irrespective of backgrounds and looking after the needs of several pateints is nothing but an impression of morality and dignity. Nurses are the partners of patients in their bad times and hence, they must imply those techniques by which the pateint gets motivated towards restoring health. Nursing promotes inter-personal learning which could be beneficial in order to serve the pateints best. The only minor contrast between Handerson and Watson is that the former described nurse as a helper while the latter desrcribed nurse as a partner to the patient. Overall, the three articles describe different sides of the same mirror. The three theories have a wide scope in the nursing practice and are widely accepted for their implications in the field. The caring theory by Watson is regarded as the most basic and essential element of nursing practice. It is not limited to individual implication only rather can be applied to organization perspectives as well. There are some clinical caritas by which every nurse must be adhered to. These are ethics and values, sustaining hope, sensitivity, caring relationships, kindness and courtesy, personal experiences and attributes etc. These all lead to a complete pattern of caring in nursing practice. The Roger's theory of humans as an integral part of environment is also termed as Health Patterning Practice Method since it is comprised of those practical concepts that are required in nursing practice. As Rogers said that nursing is both an art and a science, thus nurses imply the science technologies according to the requirements of the particular person. Also, they imply personal attention and knowledge by means of personal experiences and perceptions for the benefit of mankind. The nurses must motivate themselves towards learning new phenomena and new techniques so that they can take care of the patients well and understand medical complexities in real context. The most supportive theory in implication of nursing practices is need theory by Henderson, which according to her own words, is like every part of the body that is mal-functioned and the nursing is there to take its place in patient's body. Hence it is possible to practically implement the three theories as they define a complete picture of nursing practice if observed individually or as a combine practice. Works cited Nicely, Bruce. (2011). Virginia Henderson's principles and practice of nursing applied to organ donation after brain death. Mahjong, Hundun, and Chinese Culture Xuefeng Sept. 29, 2007
The root of Chinese culture is “混沌” (“Chaos”), or rather, the major vein of Chinese culture is “混沌” (“Chaos”), culture rather than Confucianism, Buddhism, or Taoism.
“混沌” (“Chaos”) culture is fully aligned with the Tao of the Greatest Creator. However, Chaos implies disorder, which makes it difficult to accurately convey the way of the Greatest Creator. For this reason, I regard the root of Chinese culture as “浑沌” (“Hundun”)culture.
Many Chinese intellectuals have written articles calling for the "Revival of Chinese Culture." After reading their articles, I feel bewildered and ask them in writing, "Which part of Chinese culture do you want to revitalize?" None of them can provide a clear answer or explanation. This shows that those who call for a revival of Chinese culture only have good intentions but lack a clear understanding of what Chinese culture truly is. In essence, Chinese culture is Hundun culture, and the revival of Chinese culture means the revival of Hundun culture.
Fuxi is regarded as the cultural ancestor of the Chinese nation, whose main cultural contributions are the Hetu Luoshu and the Bagua (Eight Trigrams). Traditional Chinese cultural elements such as Taiji, the Bagua (Eight Trigrams), the Book of Changes (I Ching), Liujia, Jiuxing, and Fengshui all trace their origins to his teachings. Hetu Luoshu also forms the foundation for the theory of meridians and acupuncture points in traditional Chinese medicine, as well as for disciplines such as the Book of Changes (I Ching), Fengshui, the principles of yin and yang and the five elements, Bazi (Eight Characters of Birth Time), Ziweidoushu, date selection, divination, and necromancy.
The Hetu Luoshu embodies the Hundunic phenomenon, depicting the cosmic vision Fuxi attained through his spiritual connection and unity with the universe.
The essence of Hundun is the holographic nature of the universe. It is vast enough to encompass everything yet small enough to exclude nothing. Every phenomenon and every object has a Hundunic connection to the universe. Nothing exists independently, and no phenomenon occurs in isolation. To illustrate this more vividly: the flapping of a butterfly’s wings in Alaska may trigger a storm at the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa, and a cough from an Inuit in the Arctic could cause someone in Australia to fall from a building.
Through my analysis of human thinking, I have discovered that the most profound form of thinking is Hundunic thinking, followed by formless thinking, Taiji thinking, visualized thinking, illusory thinking, and so on. Confucian thinking is materialistic thinking, the most basic level of thinking. Taoist thinking aligns with Taiji thinking, Buddhist thinking corresponds to formless thinking, and Western thinking, rooted in science and technology, primarily consists of image-based and associative thinking. The prevailing New Age thinking, exemplified by works such as Seth's teachings, Conversations with God, The Law of One, The Disappearance of the Universe, and A Course in Miracles, belongs to illusory thinking. Ultimately, humanity must embrace Hundunic thinking, inheriting, continuing, and promoting Hundun culture.
We can approach Hundun culture through four key elements: revelation, the Eight Trigrams, Huzi, and Mahjong.
Revelation means "observing the celestial phenomena in the sky, studying the laws of the earth, studying the patterns of animals and plants, examining oneself and the immediate surroundings, and contemplating external things and the distant world." In other words, it allows direct dialogue with the Greatest Creator. My work The Chapter of Revelation may serve as an introduction for others to explore deeper insights.
The Bagua (Eight Trigrams) illustrate the process: Wuji generates Taiji, and Taiji generates yin and yang. Yin and yang generate the four symbols, the four symbols generate the eight trigrams, the eight trigrams generate the sixty-four hexagrams, and the sixty-four hexagrams give rise to all phenomena in the universe. By comprehending the transformations of the sixty-four hexagrams, one can grasp the interplay between change and permanence and understand Hundunic principles.
Huzi was the teacher of Liezi. Huzi skillfully applied Hundunic principles, and by studying him, we can understand the essence of the Hundunic phenomenon.
Mahjong is a game widely enjoyed by the Chinese. Do not underestimate Mahjong—it is a manifestation of Hundunic principles. A standard set of Mahjong consists of 136 tiles, including four "East," four "South," four "West," four "North," four "Center," four "Fa," four "White," 36 "Tiao," 36 "Bing," and 36 "Wan." These tiles combine to form an astronomical number of possible arrangements. Thus, even if one plays Mahjong every day for a lifetime, they may never encounter the exact same combination twice. The game feels like a labyrinth—you may grasp the outcomes but not the underlying causes. It appears that everything happens by chance, with no discernible order. Each game of Mahjong hinges on luck and uncertainty; no one can predict whether they will win or lose.
However, Hundun is not chaos—it is order. Hundun is governed by meticulous rules, leaving no room for loopholes. What appears random is in fact structured and inevitable. Mahjong players emphasize luck. If they win, they attribute it to having good "shouqi" (hand luck); if they lose, they say their "shouqi" is bad. What is "souqi"? Try it yourself: if you are sleep-deprived, in poor health, or have had sexual activity within 24 hours, your "souqi" will be poor, and you are more likely to lose—unless the other three players are in an even worse condition. Additionally, the direction one faces and the five elements (metal, wood, water, fire, earth) of all players affect the outcome of the game.
Thus, to win at Mahjong, one must maintain high energy, good health, and avoid sexual activity for a short period. This increases the chances of having good “souqi.” The question is, why do astronomical numbers of seemingly random tile arrangements align so closely with a player's “souqi”? This is where Hundunic principles come into play.
Now, let’s turn our attention to society. Many wealthy individuals and successful entrepreneurs have little education and do not work particularly hard, yet they accumulate great wealth. Many individuals in politics lack high intelligence or outstanding moral character, yet they encounter numerous opportunities and rise smoothly through the ranks. Conversely, many well-educated, intelligent, kind-hearted, and hardworking individuals remain poor and fail to secure official positions. The secret lies in the principles of Hundun.
"Cleverness can be one's own undoing." Why? Because of Hundunic principles.
Mr. Zhang Baosheng, a renowned figure in China’s field of special abilities, had little formal education, yet his mind operates in a Hundunic state—this is the secret to his abilities.
The more concepts one fills their mind with, the further they stray from Hundun. The more moral doctrines one embraces, the further they stray from Hundun. The more knowledge one accumulates and the more one pursues rationality, the further they stray from Hundun. The more rules one masters, the further they stray from Hundun. The more one seeks, the further they stray from Hundun.
How can one draw closer to Hundun? Laozi advised us to "return to the state of a newborn baby." Jesus Christ urged, "Become like little children." Zhang Sanfeng declared, "To follow the mundane is to remain mortal; to transcend it is to become immortal. The key lies in reversing the ordinary." Buddha taught, "Detach from all forms," and "Let your mind dwell nowhere." These are the most profound methods to approach Hundun.

Beloved for decades as Jessica Griffin on As the World Turns, Tamara Tunie is making her grand return to daytime TV in Beyond the Gates—the first network soap opera to premiere in more than 25 years. The Tony and Obie Award-winner is also preparing to direct a series of powerful musicals honoring Black trailblazers like Dorothy Dandridge, but not so long ago, Tamara admits she didn’t feel very powerful. “I went through a difficult divorce,” the Law & Order: SVU alumna confides during an intimate sit-down cover story interview for FIRST, on sale Friday, February 28th (find your copy at Walmart and grocery stores nationwide or you can buy online here). “I was blindsided and devastated. I held the tension in my back, and I blew out discs in my spine. I was stuck. I couldn’t walk.” Here, Tamara opens up about finding her voice and her power—and as CBS wraps Black History Month by launching its new hour-long daily drama today, the soap opera veteran teases what to expect from Beyond the Gates. Tamara Tunie talks learning to speak her truth While acupuncture and physical therapy helped her get back on her feet after her divorce, it was the internal work that prepared Tamara, who turns 66 next month, to handle a more recent, professional blow. “I had a massive disappointment that hurt my spirit, but this time, I didn’t take it lying down,” she says. “Since I was a kid, I would get emotional and just burst into tears about whatever. My voice would start shaking. “But I’ve learned how to stand strong in my opinion, navigate the emotion of it and still articulate my point,” she continues. “It still didn’t turn out the way I thought it should, but I had my say, I spoke my truth—and it didn’t result in back problems!” Tamara Tunie talks inspiration, resilience and divine order Tamara Tunie as Anita Dupree, Beyond the Gates, 2025Quantrell Colbert/CBS ©2024 CBS Broadcasting, Inc. All Rights Reserved. “I find strength in knowing myself, my source and my family,” says Tamara. “Having experienced numerous disappointments in my career has also made me resilient—being an actor gives you a thick skin! “But I attribute a lot of my strength to my mother,” she adds. “She’s a feisty 90-year-old, living independently and still traveling. She’s a rock. It’s really all about putting one foot in front of the other.” When trudging through life’s more challenging days, Tamara does her best to keep the faith. “The wisest advice I’ve ever gotten was, ‘Everything happens in divine order,’” she says. “That doesn’t mean that when stuff happens, we don’t have a human reaction, but that time reveals all. “Anytime I feel like the pressure or stress is building, I take circular breaths—breathing in for four, holding it for four, breathing out for four, and doing that three times,” she continues. “It helps a lot.” Tamara Tunie shares her cardio hack and health booster Tamara Tunie, 2024ANGELA WEISS/AFP via Getty Images “I ask a lot of myself,” Tamara admits, “and when I call on my body to do things, I need it to be strong and capable—not just physically, but emotionally as well. So I try to take care of myself. I stay hydrated and get enough sleep. I take supplements and I exercise. “But the brain is a muscle too, and constantly using it and flipping it into different characters, genres and roles keeps my mind strong,” continues the actress, who was on the London stage playing Kamala Harris in last season’s critically acclaimed production of THE 47th and brought SVU’s beloved Dr. Warner to Law and Order: Organized Crime last year. When it comes to keeping her body fit, Tunie is dedicated—but she’s no gym rat. “I was a dancer when I first moved to New York and during COVID, when we couldn’t leave the house, three of my dancer girlfriends led workouts over Zoom,” she recounts. “Now, I still workout at home, because then I can do it at my leisure. I try to switch it up, so I don’t get bored. Recently, I bought a step board, found some step classes on YouTube and I’ve been stepping!” Silver fox Tamara Tunie’s favorite lotions, potions and beauty products “If I’m not working, I don’t wear much makeup,” Tamara reveals. “When I do wear makeup, I always take it off before I go to sleep. I’ll start with eye makeup remover pads, then I use Neutrogena face wipes, followed by Clarins cleanser and toner. I love my lotions and potions like Sunday Riley vitamin C oil. There’s something calming and comforting about that nightly ritual.” While she loves her products, this beauty is done messing with hair color. “I’ve been going grey since my 20s, so I’ve been dyeing it for all these years,” Tamara confides. “And that grey is persistent! It seemed like every time I walked out of the salon and got to the corner, I had roots again. I’d always wanted to be a silver fox, so I finally did it—and everyone said I looked younger, somehow. So when The Gates came around, I decided to represent the women of my age who are embracing their natural hair color and look fabulous!” Tamara Tunie teases ‘Beyond the Gates’: ‘It’s not just a ‘Black soap.’ Tamara Tunie, Beyond the Gates, 2025Quantrell Colbert/CBS ©2024 CBS Broadcasting, Inc. After all the buzz around CBS’ brand new hour-long daily drama, Tamara, who plays powerhouse matriarch Anita Dupree, is thrilled to finally introduce audiences to Beyond the Gates. “The show is centered around a wealthy African American family and it’s showing a part of the African American community that has not been represented on either daytime or nighttime television, but the community is diverse,” Tamara says. “Everyone is represented, so it’s not just a ‘Black soap.’” “As for what you can expect…” she teases. “First, expect delicious drama. Expect to be titillated and expect to want to tune in every day. And second, expect eye candy—because everyone and everything is gorgeous! We also have a lot of musical people on the show, so there’ll be music.” Tamara Tunie talks stepping up as matriarch on ‘Beyond the Gates’ Daphnee Duplaix as Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson, Clifton Davis as Vernon Dupree, Tamara Tunie as Anita Dupree and Karla Mosley as Dani Dupree, Beyond the Gates, 2025Quantrell Colbert/CBS ©2025 CBS Broadcasting, Inc. With folks like Tamara’s onscreen husband Clifton Davis new to the genre, the show has been slowly ramping up production to meet soap operas’ infamously fast pace of shooting. Taking the lead on Beyond the Gates has been an opportunity for Tamara to bring back to daytime all she’s learned during her decades working on both stage and screen. “I feel like I’m not just the matriarch of the Dupree family, but also the matriarch on set,” the Blue Bloods alum tells FIRST with a smile. “It’s my privilege to be someone my fellow cast and crew can come to with questions and to be a source of ideas or information.
