I wish people would stop pretending that their one-sided beef with any of the female Sinners characters is praxis and not just catty competition over their male partners. Actually very embarrassing behavior i think.
#you dont like people hyping up haileexmbj#so you pretend that mary was wrong and in a one sided relationship#pretending that you're problack and feminist#and the apparent problack prowomen divestors#are mad at annie for being plus sized and with smoke#and bo is the hot ''good'' asian while grace is a bitch#and you prentend its a commentary on ''solidarity''#the pattern is: you hate women and want their men#sinners

This is a divestor. I am not this. I do not put down other women and also some black women, to elevate white men. It seems like this woman forgot that black women also look like the white women in the video on the left. Women aren't less deserving of love, just because they are bigger, have skin issues and aren't as polished. This is why I believe that most of these Twitter accounts are run by white men. Cause if this was a black woman, she knows for a fact that someone in her family is built like that white woman on the left.
These accounts only wanna focus on a specific type of black women and I think it's bullshit. Cause I've literally seen with my own eyes plus size black women, with white men. These accounts don't show those couples though, cause it doesn't fit their narrative. These accounts are not about uplifting black women. They are about trashing and demeaning black men.
Seriously, I don't know how someone can tweet something so hateful. This account has turned their replies off and it's so obvious why.

the way i know exactly what u mean with “certain online communities of black women” 😭😭 that’s why all i could do was laugh when i saw anna’s first vid on the topic bc 1. i knew folks were finna get on her ass real bad and 2. i knew exactly what parts of twitter she been lurking on 💀💀 like girl why are u regurgitating word-for-word tweets from the divestor girlies. even saw some of their burner accts in her comment section defending her with their life LMAO. and even the way she was articulating herself just felt like she was combining bits and pieces of discourse from that niche community but stopped short bc she was tryna cover 4 different topics in one vid. but it’s so interesting to me bc as a nosy professional lurker, i’ve been wondering how long it would be until a prominent black girl influencer started parroting that rhetoric on their platform iykwim.
also not sure if my tone is off in my message of where i stand but i agree with u on understanding where both sides are coming from and ultimately siding w the women who are okay with the statue✌🏽
I'm very picky about who I routinely watch (I mostly watch black women anyway) so I'm sure other big content creators on tiktok have regurgitated similar rhetoric but Anna is really popular so she's getting dragged the most and unfortunately she's the only one I keep up with who even said anything like that 😭 every other black girl I follow at the very least has the sense to not spew that nonsense
She's 20 and when I was 20 I was lurking in those spaces too and probably even thought the same (because I really do get where they're trying to come from even if I don't agree) but ultimately this discourse stems from low racial self esteem (really need to kiss the first black person who came up with that bc it's gold) and I give Anna a pass because she's young but we really gotta let go of this need to only want our representation to be "fuckable" or not at all

there are a lot of groups of people who i treat the way that fd signifier treats divestors, in that they are a real group of people and might even be highly problematic or discriminatory, but at the end of the day there are so few of them and they are such an extreme minority with so little real power or ability to change things at all that being too upset about them or posting about them a lot would honestly just be weirdo behavior on my part. and also thinking about them just makes me sad and uncomfortable cuz usually they're pretty sad
#nnstuff#rambling#i <3 vaguing about queer discouorse#no but fr this applies to a lot of online queer discourse#and groups therein

The Front Room #CVReview

I really enjoyed the formula for "The Front Room" - the Egger's Brothers miscegenial cautionary tale showing the realities of taking care of aging relatives, the type of beta-male cuck's U.S. negroid women tend to pursue when it comes to them attempting to lighten the shade of their family tree and (as Perkins did earlier this year with "Long Legs") show how evil Boomer parents are and how much of a nightmare a live-in in-law stands to be.
Not much supernatural, mystified, crap takes place in the Eggers Brothers script. "The Front Room" is very down to earth as any fantastical dream sequence can be chalked up to post-partum delusions.
Brandy is so sexy in this film showing off her round, pregnant, belly that I had to watch the film about three times in a loop and still did not want to leave the theater !
Marcelo Zarvos provides an unsettling, pulse pounding soundtrack for nearly every uncomfortable conversation Brandy's character has or uncomfortable situation she gets into - and it's alot of them !
From Kathryn Hunter's Solange and her incontinence stinking up the room as much as her religious zealotry and Daughters of The Confederacy history to Belinda (Brandy)'s quest for motherhood encapsulating with both her and her husband barely making it in the East Coast and not having the gall to actually grow a pair - this movie shows a embellished version of modern marriage and the blended family, but for those who lived something similar to the situations in Egger's script, "The Front Room" is far from extreme.
And as long as films like "The Front Room", "A Quiet Place Day One" and other such miscegenial films before it show the realities of Caucazoid-male relations with Negroid females, I'm finding myself less upset with the idea.
I can deal with a caucazoid being portrayed as a beta male in European cinema if they grab up a divestor. It's a stereotype I'm happy to see on the screen, especially if it means I get to see a pregnant negroid in distress.
I can live with and love "The Front Room". I don't get to do that everytime I hit the box office. But the opportunity is always there, and the Eggers capitalized off the lack of challengers in a quiet weekend fresh off the heels of the summer blockbuster season.

I have no clue what is going on with this Rihanna situation, but as a Black (African American) woman, you would have to consider the circumstances and trends that have risen over the past few years in Western Black digital cultures to truly understand why people get mad at Black women for having kids. I 100% agree with original anon, but I just want to add this on to the conversation. In the Black woman community (mainly Gen Z) there has been an uprise in alt-right values but in bimbo, coquette, divestor (no longer dating black men), and hypergamy aesthetics. Normally, these women fetishize white/non-Black (mainly white) people and try their best to appeal to them and their desirability standards. This anger happened with Hallie and Flo Mili. They said they were throwing away their careers to have a baby with a dusty Blackistan (bum black male). This kind of language shows me that they are not mad that these women are having babies young or old, they are more mad that it's with Black men and not a billionaire white man (I think about the praise that one super young black model got when she was getting groomed by that male director I forget their names). I mean, look at how a lot of people romanticize Rihanna's old relationship with that one billionaire (idk his ethnicity but he just wasn't black lol). Theres def been this ultra rise of self-hate in the Western black woman community when it comes to desirability and gendered labor. Many will say that it's just aesthetics and it's not that deep, but I see the languages they use when they speak about themselves and other "feminine" black women vs more "masculine" black women. Or how they talk about black men being dusty and "degenerate" while white men are holy and gods. I understand where this comes from, as Black men have dogged Black women out since forever but they don't realize that this kind of stuff isn't exclusive to them (a lot of them genuinely believe that non-Black, mainly white women have it easier when it comes to dating and desirability)? Like I can't explain it, but they see "feminine" black women celebrities as a direct reflection of them and what a Black woman is worth (Its like the if beyonce is getting cheated on then none of us have a chance type mindset) so when one marries a black man, especially if he's a dusty (rapper, broke, bum, etc). They will crash out so bad and start sounding like Hitler. It's such a complex conversation in the Black women Gen Z digital space and I actually want to write a mini essay on this because I literally can not grasp how the black community is turning a blind eye on how so many black girls n women are dead, getting groomed into these alt right pipelines and self hate in the name of Lana Del Rey, Pink, Hello Kitty coquette bows, Birkin bags, BMWs and Cartier bracelets. Its so depressing to see as a Black lesbian who just exists lol because their posts are always only strictly focusing on the positivity of black "feminine" women because they don't want people to know that black "masculine" or "non confirming" women exists bc they deem us as ugly and undesirable (which is why I hate the terms and movements of black excellence and black girl magic its just liberal slop, very desperate attempt to show nonblack people that we can be polite, beautiful, and assimilate). Lol I am going off topic but yea black women just see these black celebs as a direct manifestation of them, and how those black celebrities are viewed in terms of desirability and beauty politics
Thank you so much for this addition, this adds a really interesting context! I have seen similar sentiments directed at other black female celebs and wondered where it was coming from. You just opened my eyes to a whole new way of thinking about this, thank you!

And divestors will whine about how white women always got to be pink princesses or some shit. How the box of acceptable women hood has narrowed so much. I swear if a young black woman wore Halle berry’s old cut they would whine about how evil and masculine it is. How I wish all those women a white boyfriend, with the full blessing of the monkey’s paw.
Since covid in particular, divestors have become a cult of the worst self help advice masquerading as Black women empowerment just because now and again they're right about big issues. It's not all of them, but the ones that are hostile to feminism are usually just not smart at all. They don't read and I remember watching one and her saying she avoids anything feminist so she doesn't change her mind lol. Many of them have jumped out of the role of Black women being a sacrificial lamb for the Black community and think because they're right about that, they shouldn't be reflective of any other beliefs they have. If the Stepford wife thing isn't and hasn't worked for other women, why would it for us ? So many are so fixated on ' Black women didn't get to do X ' they're not even thinking ' is this even a good idea?' , ' am I going about this in a sensible reality based way ?' And they will hear this and think they're being asked to lower their standards and date a drug dealer and not, think about your pension if you're going to be a stay at home wife because men die before women; make sure you have work experience because "good men" leave women all the time
Literally all they do is make the box for acceptable femininity for Black women smaller and harsher and then pretend it's doing us a favour. They're pretending their doltishness is refinement because they don't act like cardi b. They're never avid readers or interested in art. They think because 19yros are taken in by their act because they wear midi-skirts that's going to be impressive by itself
They just like the aesthetics of social media ' old money ' style and that's not a problem by itself but the way they build all their ideas from that is stupid. They encourage the most irredeemable form of vacuousness for us like Black women benefit from people thinking we're dumb. They will call behaviour that's obviously a trauma response " masculine" and pretend they're worldly without any of the " work" of knowing anything about the world.
Black women and girls should be reading, going to galleries, building relationships based on compassion, travelling but these goats will have you believe it's masculine to be career focused as if inflation doesn't exist and we need more money for the same shit . A man that comes from ' old money ' typically marries within their social circle like all wealthy people do and if you want a wealthy man, you better get a good education and a good career so you're at the same conferences and office buildings as them
There are so many forms of anti- intellectualism on social media masquerading as self help. If you're fucked up in the head, seek help and if you want to transform your life it's not happening because you made a blog and use cursive font
It's good for Black women to focus on ourselves but Black Femininity types and divestors are getting crazier and crazier as a group ( individually some divestors are fine ). Many YouTube Black Femininity types hate ForHarriet but she is literally the one with an educated, probably high earning, I go to charity ball man because even though she's on social media, she's not acting loud and stupid and being a Harvard dropout still means you went to Harvard and they didn't.
I don't believe in lying to women about shit. Give them the facts and stop selling a fantasy and then an e-book. There are lots of ways to have a beautiful life full of love and safety as a Black woman but that takes effort and planning not content consumption
Black girls gain nothing by being isolated ( in an effort to stay pure ) and not learning about the world. If you can't figure anything else you can do but go to the club like those other ' hoodrats' congrats you don't have any hobbies or interests or friends. Work on that

I see certain divestors to be a problem to black womanhood.
Why exactly do you think being with non-black men is going to make anything or validate your identity.
I believe that black women should reject male validation especially when it comes to seeking romantic relationships.
I believe that this lies in a problem that is shown in all womanhood where we put our value and self worth to romantic relationships.
But this attitude of empowerment through a non-black man is regressive and anti-black

It’s so weird wanting to date and then you realize like…. Ppl have been so absolutely absorbed into the gender wars thing, the incel shit, the divestor shit, the alpha and high value shit, the family dynamic shit, the diaspora wars shit… that is so hard to find like regular ppl to date. It’s terrifying! Like genuinely.

Have you read Black Macho and the Myth of the Superwoman? The author really goes into depth about some of the issues between black women and men and doesn’t hold back when judging men and I really appreciate it. I find that a lot of current black feminist works while good, almost don’t want to offend black men or non black authors won’t even mention misogynoir. Or they’ll act like what’s happening to us is random or mention black trans women instead and be done with it.
Thanks anon. I have not read it but I am always looking for recommendations. I totally understand what you're saying. A lot of Black feminists don't want to criticize Black men because they are scared of being called divestors. Maybe this is the reason it seems like more people are accepting of criticisms of homophobia in our community than criticisms of misogyny. I don't get it when "intersectional" people only want to talk about one way a group can oppress the another, and ignore when the reverse happens.

To my knowledge, Kayla has never been a divestor girlie so I’m not sure why y’all are treating her that way. “She knew what she signed up for” she signed up to be compared to Taylor Swift and have BM tear her to pieces???
its crazy BM really made Kayla Nicole a villain.
She left that white guy over a year ago and said NOTHING about the relationship
Since then she has been constantly harassed by his fans, his new girlfriend fans and BM who are mad she dated him over a YEAR ago.
Yall weird af.
Its crazy how his new relationship caused all this hysteria. I watched for 2 weeks straight yall go in and call this girl all kinds of Harlots, posting her pictures in comparison. that girl hadnt said Nathan about this man or his girl!
and when I said BM made her the villain its bc it really broke my widdle heart 🥺to see y’alls public disdain, degrade, and downplay of a woman that looks like you, and never said anything bad about yall
Inviting more space for “them” to talk down on her is crazy.
yall keep saying she said something about BM but have yet to show me where 🤣
Lastly, yall keep saying BW started her comparison but we were able to pull receipts that it was in fact..a man.
but lets say BW did….Why did they decide to join in and call her a gold diggin, angry ho, in defense of a random white couple?!! thats not weird to yall?🤨🤣
And mind you, Kayla has been silent this whole time!!! She’s not the ex who was inserting herself into Kelce-Swift gate!!! She is actively being attacked for just living her life post-break up and being told she’s not worthy.
She’s better than the rest of us because it would have been fq the swifties for attacking me and fq the black nigpenes for attacking me and they should fqucking k word themselves altogether disrespectfully

it’s really interesting seeing Black tiktok find out what divestors are for the first time bc of this nyc statue discourse on there
lolz again these women dgaf about actually criticizing misogynoir in media, they’re just trying to sanitize all media of Black women that don’t meet their beauty standards & don’t spread their agenda (fueled by respectability politics & eugenics mind you). pls ignore them 💀
