Each presentation/Q&A will focus on various disciplines such as Animation, Storyboarding, Illustration, Stagecraft, Shot Production and Studio Recruitment. Disneyweek Lineup: Quill

A/N: WHOOOOO second part of Disney week!!! I’ll be taking down three more requests after this so be on the lookout!!! I literally had to take a breather in the middle of writing this fic. Thor is just....TOO MUCH. I WOULD GLADLY TAKE A LIGHTNING BOLT TO THE CHEST FOR HIM YOU DON’R UNDERSTAND-

It was like something out of a romance movie. The moon was high above you as you stood beside Thor walking alone together throughout the compound gardens. The lights of the garden fountain only illuminated Thor’s famed godly features and added to the already romantic atmosphere. 

You hated it.

It wasn’t like you hated Thor. Far from it, you relished in the moments you spent with him. His laugh was warm and loud like a roaring fire that set your heart ablaze, his smile seemed to spark something deep inside as if he sent a volt of lightning from under your skin. He was practically perfect, but you couldn’t have him no matter how hard you tried. Being that you were his personal assistant at the Avengers compound it was unprofessional, and you knew if you acted on your feelings you’d have a bright target on your back for all your jealous co-workers. It was already much that you had to follow him around due to your job description, but actually being with him romantically would definitely earn you some green eyes of envy.

You tapped mercilessly on your phone as you walked beside Thor blowing a hair out of your eyes every so often. You couldn’t keep your mind on how handsome he was; you had a job to do.

“You have a publicity event with the rest of the Avengers on Friday in Los Angeles,” You kept your eyes glued to the screen as you read up on the details of the arrangement. 

“Los Angeles? What for?” Thor asked casually taking a moment to stretch his arm. You saw the deltoid and bicep flex together as he moved out of the corner of your eye and felt your face flush.

Oh, sweet baby Jesus. 

You swallowed the rock in your throat.  “T-there’s uh… a statue unveiling in your honor. There’s going to be a big ceremony, Cap’s going to make a speech and there’s going to be an after party later in the evening,” You finished explaining as you reached the end of the email. Your eyes scanned over the final note and your head lifted up again to mention the last detail.

“Oh, and I’m supposed to ask you if have any plans to take a plus one?” You turned your head to him on instinct and instantly regretted it as you saw him bite down on the bottom of his lip as he looked up at the sky in thought.

“Not sure,” He said crossing his arms one finger tapping gently at his left triceps. “Would you like to come with me Y/N?” His blue eyes met yours and for a moment you thought someone had shot an arrow straight through your heart.

“I-I uh… I couldn’t…” Your voice started out frail and shy but broke out in a deadpan as you started to stare at the illuminated path below your feet. 

“Come now, you’re practically glued at my hip as it is, one evening with me shall not kill you,” He smiled down at your figure.

You felt your lips go dry as you tried to think of an excuse, any excuse that would keep you from being with Thor all night in the city of angels. One excuse so that you wouldn’t be beside him for once, not out of obligation but out of enjoyment. One excuse that would keep you away from his strong arms that would wrap themselves around your waist pulling you against him as he swayed along with you to soft music under the warm nights of California. 

Of course, you couldn’t think of anything. You stood there like an idiot staring at nothing when you felt Thor take you by the shoulder turning you to him.

“You don’t have to give me an answer if it’s making you nervous… my apologies for putting asking you so suddenly,” The genuine affection in his words was enough to make your heart practically leap out of its chest. 

“But…do think about it will you?” His voice was even softer now as he brought a hand to the top of your head pulling the stray hair that kept falling into your eyes behind your ear. You could feel your cheeks start to heat as his touch and you nodded slowly as he gave your shoulder a final pat before turning.

“I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow then?”  He asked only looking over his shoulder slightly.

“You bet…!” You said your voice was half there, still in a dreamy daze. He left you alone in the gardens, feeling warm and giddy due to your feelings. He wanted to go with you to the party and was so understanding when you showed wariness to attend. People thought Thor was just some sort of womanizer bent on ravishing every pretty face but you knew the truth. He wasn’t just some muscle head who lifted woman on each arm (though his physique was quite a plus!). He was sweet and endearing, soft and passionate always took the time to take care of people who needed. He was a true hero heart and all, and it sucked.

“God, why is he so perfect!!!” You hissed pulling your hair once he was out of sight and earshot. You sighed angrily pacing back and forth in front of the fountain.

“Keep it together Y/N. You can’t do this to yourself!!” You said in a huff. “You’re a professional. It doesn’t matter that he’s perfection incarnate and has a heart of gold… or…. GODDAMNIT!!”

You sat on the rim of the fountain and flung your face into your hands. “I’m doing it again...” You muttered a scowl present on your face. You thought back to the Norse god and felt it melt away instantly and another sigh passed your lips. 

“I’m not…” You tried to clench your teeth tightly together. You didn’t even want the words to come out of your throat, but they flew out of you involuntarily. “I’m not in love…” Your face heated up and your body called your bluff instantly blushing a dark red.

Who were you kidding, you couldn’t even fool yourself.
