This is the first of a tournament I'm going to be doing on this blog to find the best Disneyland attraction. I'm doing the main park in California. I'm not doing DCA yet. A new poll will be posted every Sunday. If you've never experienced the attraction, you're still welcome to vote. I'll be providing POV videos.

Quick question for Disney Parks fans:

Do you think The Collector, as portrayed in Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout (since this side of him isn't really shown in the films), is intended as a parody of Disneyland fans? Or do you think the designers just put random Disney things in his collection with no thought to characterization/lore?

Okay this one's pretty niche, but

When I made an earlier version of this poll, focusing only on the parades from the American parks and lumping all the parades from the Paris and Asia parks under the "Other" category, I was surprised by how many people voted "Other." So I realized I had to check out some videos of the parades from the parks overseas.

They've got some good parades at those parks. They reflect the different cultures' concepts of Halloween in very interesting ways. For example, the Paris parade has hardly any spooky aspects at all, but is a happy, sunny celebration of autumn and harvest time. Whereas the Tokyo and Hong Kong parades are in some ways darker and spookier than the American ones.

I do like them all, but still, I think the Boo to You Parade from Walt Disney World is my personal favorite.

Redoing my Disney poll because it had too few options before. Didn’t have options for staff or people who live right next to it. Also the reason I find the question interesting is because as a child, knowing other kids that went to Disney World and never being able to go myself was an early realization that my parents didn’t make a lot of money. So it’s important to separate out people who went often because it was nearby and cheap vs those who spend thousands to attend. Anyway, here goes:
