This is the first of a tournament I'm going to be doing on this blog to find the best Disneyland attraction. I'm doing the main park in California. I'm not doing DCA yet. Bonus question, how many of you as kids started to figure out the wealthy kids based on all your classmates who went to Disney every year and you never went once? I think I figured it out by 8.

Really trying to gauge if a clear majority agrees on one specific interpretation. I’ve heard many, and have always been confused why people believe rocking chair guy is an old retired pirate. To be a pirate during the golden age of piracy and be alive in the New Orleans Square setting, he’d have to be nearly 200 years old. So I guess if this is your answer I would love to hear how this works as well!

Quick question for Disney Parks fans:

Do you think The Collector, as portrayed in Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout (since this side of him isn't really shown in the films), is intended as a parody of Disneyland fans? Or do you think the designers just put random Disney things in his collection with no thought to characterization/lore?

Redoing my Disney poll because it had too few options before. Didn’t have options for staff or people who live right next to it. Also the reason I find the question interesting is because as a child, knowing other kids that went to Disney World and never being able to go myself was an early realization that my parents didn’t make a lot of money. So it’s important to separate out people who went often because it was nearby and cheap vs those who spend thousands to attend. Anyway, here goes:
