I wish there was a closed captions mode that only captioned dialogue, not sound. The sound captions can be rather annoying if you are hearing and don't need them, but you also can't delete them for the people who are hard of hearing or deaf.

How could I get an outfit like the one Matthew wore in Season2 Episode1 of A Discovery of Witches?

Shirt: This is the easiest to find or make. If you don't want to make your own, this style of shirt can be found online. This style is sometimes called a pirate shirt, a poet shirt or a Renaissance shirt. Don't forget to add some lace to the edges of the collar!

Jerkin: This is probably the hardest to find. You might be able to modify a leather vest or jacket from a thrift store.

Breeches: You can use leather pants or leggings. If you want to be super accurate you can sew or glue on a little flap in a certain *ahem* area.

Boots: Black riding boots would work well. You can also find leather boots sold as pirate boots that would work.

If you want to DIY, the Elizabethan Costume.net website is super helpful.

If you don't want to DIY, Etsy is a good source for Tudor and Renaissance things. You will have to pay more but the quality will be much better than something from a Halloween store. You may also be able to find someone who can recreate the jerkin.

I don’t know if it’s a question about watching a show and then, not watching it, but generally when I stop watching something I stop for good... But if it’s about putting a show on screen and then living my life, it happened with Fate and The irregulars of Baker street. I just forgot to concentrate after a while because I stopped trying to understand the story and I just did something else while listening the dialogues and glancing to the image from time to time ><

Because I love them? The Tudors, Medici, Sherlock, Big Hero 6 and Tangled the series (Isn’t the last one surprising? xD)

Because they would have been better with one more season to cover all the plot-line and no rushing? Game of Thrones. Tangled the series... (Seriously: season3 to deal with Moonssandra, GothelxRapunzel, Varian redemption and ZT, season4 with Cassandra’s journey, Varian learning more about the Brotherhood -trying to communicate with MonkeyDemanitus?, revealing things about his blue hair?-, Eugene, Raps, Lance and Everyone -except Shorty just for fun- finding their place inside Corona, possible discovery about Henz Der Sonne’s legacy and Saporian rebels in the finale OR a metaphor about how your worst enemy is yourself with a Decay incantation Raps meeting a real Raps after finding a strange mirror -or both at the same time-. I don’t know, but something that doesn’t leave the fan with so many question QQ -And I know it’s a PG show, but Disney, I’ve heard the song in this PG-show and Let Me make you Proud, Everything I ever though I knew, and Crossing the line are NOT for child!) There is probably more show,but meh ><

I’m French  me, I complain about critique everything? I think that I did this a lot with The chilling adventures of Sabrina (s1: --” s2: ôÔ s3: >> s4: T_T”) and Nancy Drew, which is not that bad after season 1 (and the first five episode of season2) But yeah, I critique everything, I press pause and then spend half the episode time talking about what I just saw ><

We see how his life has been shaped by growing up and living with profiling & stereotypes in a post-9/11 world, as well as his struggle to live up to the standards of parents that are first-generation immigrants. There’s also a focus on his self-imposed journey towards inner-discovery, as he works out how deep he can commit to living his faith, amidst the temptations of #American life. While these are heavy topics, “Ramy” covers them with an infectious sense of humor and wit. (I also love and appreciate the #inclusion of a relatable character with #disabilities, as I myself have #ehlersdanlossyndrome).
