@house-of-slayterr they were really creative
Top ten weird ways Oswald Cobbepot gets called in Gotham
As I was rewatching Gotham, I decided to write down every name that people in the show canonically call Oswald Cobblepot aka the Penguin. It was a wild ride. Please enjoy
Tumblr media
10. "Funny looking fellow"
(season one)
We start with a simple one. This isn't even an insult, it's just a fact. He is, indeed, a funny looking fellow. I'm pretty sure they say it more than once too.
9. "The Dapper Gangland Kingpin"
(season two)
This one it's just silly, especially since it was written on a newspaper. Just... that's kind of weird ? Idk it's silly it makes me chuckle
8. "Yellow rat snitch"
(season one)
We start getting a little weirder. Why a rat? And, more importantly, why yellow???
7. "Stupid lame birdbrain"
(season four)
Just so mean. Especially since this scene it's his dumb husband making a room full of people chant it
6. "Golden goose"
(season one)
Right back to season one and it's incredible dialogue. This one is particularly amazing thanks to Oswald's reply to it, which was, of course: "Honk honk". I can't even start to describe that scene. It's a classic.
5. "Beaky nosed freak"
(season five)
Definitely the best nickname the last season had to offer. Like, you know that moment when a guy kills your bestfriend/girlfriend and you call him the silliest name you can think of? This is one of those times.
4. "Sad little breadhead"
(season two)
This one from never fails. Imagine it delivered with the most condicending tone in the world. Just amazing. Makes me laugh every time.
3. "Scaley faced bitch"
(season one)
This is the first one in the show, directly from the first episode. I am a firm supporter of calling men bitches when they deserve it, and he did, so I wholeheartedly approve this message. Adding the scaley face part just makes it more poetic.
2. "Fruitcake leprechaun"
(season two)
This. This is the one that started it all. It was thinking about this one that I decided that this rewatch I was gonna write down all the nicknames. I dont know if it has something to do with english not being my first language, so I don't have the background of the word "fruitcake" used as an homophobic remark, but this name is one of the funniest things I have ever heard in my life.
1. "Limping little chickenbutt second banana"
(season one)
This couldn't not be on the first place. I am obsessed with the writers of this show, i want to get inside their brains. Because like what does it mean? How did they come up with this? I need to know every thought that crossed their mind for them to write this. This is art. This is poetry. Incredible. Amazing. Absolutely insane. Kudos to the actor who played Maroni because if they gave me that line I wouldn't be able to say it with a straight face.
Bonus:
(For the fans, he is also called "the only thing Nygma cares about". Just... you know, in case you forgot)
Some recurrent nicknames are: "Pengy", "Ozzie", "freak", "cockroach", "punk", bird related names (bird/birdman, feathered friend, chicken, turkey...) and "little"/"tiny" followed by almost anything (man, friend, dirtbag, bastard, creep, twerp, freak, weasel...)
His haircut is described as "disco vampire hair" at one point (another classic)
He is also called "specimen", which is really funny, and "dewdropper"?? for some reason I don't remember but it was in my notes and I couldn't ignore it lmao

don't mind me.. just thinking about vampire!ghost at 10am
1.8k words (beware... a little bit of blood, alcohol, vampirey stuff and la tension sexuelle)
...
Captain Price warned you. The day you transferred onto the team, he pulled you aside, and in an utterance quieter than anything you’ve heard from him since, he told you that the Lieutenant would take some getting used to.
“He’s a good man,” Price said, “Just peculiar.”
Read between the lines, sergeant: he’s an asshole. It isn’t anything new, and it certainly won’t become an excuse. You worked hard to get on this team, and some weirdo won’t get in the way of that.
So you prepare for the worst, and… you end up with the best? Lieutenant Riley turns out to be the best superior you’ve had the honor of serving under. He’s not a friend, not by any means, but he’s efficient on the field and cordial off of it, a luxury you’ve rarely been afforded.
However, Price’s words ring true. The man is just as his call sign suggests– a ghost. He barely socializes with the team, always (politely) declining to eat meals with you all. He makes himself scarce during the day, only appearing for training and missions wearing a skull mask. Hell, you’ve never seen him without the damn mask.
Despite his peculiarities, you can see why he’s made the team. He’s built like nobody you’ve ever seen– nearly six and a half feet of pure muscle. And the man is efficient. He lurks in the shadows, waiting to strike, and when he does… The man has slaughtered his way out of one too many impossible odds. It’s a pleasure to fight by his side. You find yourself missing him whenever he’s disappeared. The longing is unusual, unfamiliar, especially considering the allusiveness of the lieutenant. Yet when he’s there, working with you on training or missions, things just go better. It’s as though he understands you on some incomprehensible level. He picks up on things nobody else ever has– when you’re fatigued, hurt, or just generally pissed.
Unfortunately, today was one of the many days where Ghost lived up to his namesake. And what a day it was for him to be missing. After a grueling training session, you were tasked with a mountain of paperwork. All was going well until you accidentally misplaced about half of your completed paperwork, leading to an overzealous recruit dumping them into the paper shredder during your lunch break. While you were happy to give the kid one hell of a talking to, the damage was done and you were practically back to square one.
You don’t finish up until almost midnight. The urge to sleep is strong, but your frayed nerves are stronger. If you want to get some shut-eye before the sun rises, you need a drink ASAP. So straight past your room you go into the common room kitchen. Except, you’re not alone.
A man leans over the counter, setting down an empty glass. His blond hair is so light it nearly blends in with his translucent, pale skin. You’ve never seen him before, surely you would have noticed if you have. With skin that white, he must glow like a damn disco ball in the sun. The man wipes his lips with the back of his hand. It comes back smudged with red. So it seems like he had the same bright idea as you.
“Care to share?” You ask, startling him. He straightens to full height, and your heart skips a beat. He didn’t look all that large while hunched over the counter. Now? He’s built like a damn brick wall, tall and broad in a way that’s even rare among the men and women you work with.
The man gazes at you with wide brown eyes lined with purple bags. They dart behind you before he relaxes a bit, slumping back down.
“Share?” He whispers. His voice raises your hackles, something about the timber of the sound, even in a whisper, that awakens something in your mind.
You motion to his wine glass. He holds the stem tightly. You wouldn’t be surprised if it shattered. “The wine, pal.”
The man tenses. “Pal?”
“Pal,” you repeat.
“You’ve never called me that before,” says the man as he reaches in the cabinet for another glass.
You frown. “Have we met?”
The man’s face stretches into an unamused pout, “Really, Sergeant?” The word curls around his tongue in such a familiar way, yet it’s nearly impossible to place.
Just nearly.
You know that voice well. Typically it’s barking out orders in your earpiece and—
Shit, you just disrespected your Lieutenant.
“Christ—” Ghost flinches. You compartmentalize his dislike of blaspheme for when you’re not profusely apologizing to him. “Ghost, I didn’t recognize you without—“
“It’s alright,” Ghost looks through the cabinets until he finally finds the one with the 141’s not-so-secret alcohol supply. “Wine, you said? White or red?”
“Whatever you’re having.”
Ghost frowns at you until you motion for his emptied glass still filled with the crimson liquid. His lips part into an ‘o’. “‘F course."
Ghost pours a glass and slides it your way. “Can’t sleep?”
You nod. “You?”
“Something like that.”
You raise your glass. “Cheers?”
Ghost taps his glass against yours with a satisfying ding.
“You know,” you say after a sip, “We haven’t gotten the chance to talk since I joined— one-on-one, I mean.”
“That we have not,” Ghost muses. “I suppose you have questions.”
“That I do,” your eyes follow your finger, tracing the rim of the glass. “You know, Price gave me a warning when I joined.”
“He did?”
“Yeah, said you were a weirdo.”
“‘Weirdo’?” Ghost laughs. It’s surprisingly warm. You get a flash of his smile for the first time. His teeth are blindingly bright, but your attention is drawn to his canines. They’re unusually large— long —their points extending long and dangerous. “Is that what we’re calling it these days,” he muses.
“It’s not totally crazy to say, you know?” Ghost tilts his head, another sharp smile pulling at his lips, “I mean– this is the first time I’ve seen your face.”
“I’ve got a skin condition.” You raise a skeptical eyebrow. Ghost continues, “I get burnt easily.”
You frown, “Burnt?”
“Sunburn.”
“You’re joking.”
Ghost grimaces, and you realize that he is in fact not joking. You bark out a laugh, and before you consider the possibility that Ghost may actually have a medical condition, he starts laughing too.
You’re not looking, too busy laughing about your poor brick-shithouse of a lieutenant getting burnt to see that you’re about to slam your hand down on your wine glass. And you do, the glass knocking over and spilling wine all over the counter. And, as though the universe is reminding you that luck is not on your side today, the glass shatters, a shard managing to cut through one of your fingers.
A string of expletives escapes your lips as you instinctually avert your eyes. The feeling of the glass slicing through your skin echoes in your mind. Thinking about it causes you more distress than the actual pain.
“Let me look,” Ghost grumbles. He reaches for your hand, but you pull it back, examining it. A long but shallow cut mars your pointer finger. It oozes blood which drips down your knuckle and between your fingers.
“It’s fine,” you gasp, “I’ll just grab a band-aid.”
“No,” Ghost wraps his hand around your wrist. It’s not particularly hard, but the shock of his cold touch has you gasping. He pulls your hand to his face– his lips –and before you know it, your bloodied finger is in his mouth.
“Ghost, what the hell are you–”
Your lieutenant honest-to-God moans around your finger. His tongue swirls languidly around the digit in his mouth, like he’s savoring something. You suppose he is– the taste of you. Ghosts’s eyes are pulled shut, brows furrowed as he completely ignores your protests. Though, your protests aren’t exactly passionate, rather halfhearted formalities in case any others decide to wander into the common room this late at night.
He draws your finger out slowly, his tongue keeping contact with it until it can’t any more. You don’t draw your hand away from his grasp, instead letting it stand between you two, Ghost’s grip still iron on your wrist.
The room spins around you. You blame it on blood loss, ignoring the fact that you’ve lost way more blood in way less time. A cut certainly couldn’t bring you down. Your lieutenant however–
“Better?” Ghost asks. He moves closer, nostrils flaring as he takes a deep inhale almost like he’s smelling you. The thought makes you dizzier, a recessed part of your brain running wild at the thought of such a primitive act.
“You… you just–” You cut yourself off, a cross between a sigh and a whimper bubbling from your throat.
It sounds like a moan.
Maybe it was a moan.
It definitely was a moan.
Ghost’s free hand comes to cup your cheek, tilting your gaze back up to his. You hadn’t realized, but you were staring at his bloodstained lips. “Darling,” he coos, “Answer me.”
The words tumble from your mouth before you can even think about them: “Much better.” They ring true. Your finger doesn’t hurt a bit, even though it was very much just sliced open on a glass.
Ghost brings your hand to his lips again. You think he’s going to put your finger in his mouth again. Instead, he presses it against your lips, placing a kiss on the cut. He lets go of your wrist, but before your hand can fall to your side, his tongue darts out from between his lips, giving the cut one last kitten lick.
Ghost’s lips are moving. Between them, you catch glimpses of his canines. Why are they so long? They’re lined with red blood– your blood –filling the crevices between his teeth. His tongue runs over his teeth, wiping them clean of you. Your lips part, your own tongue running over your own teeth in mimicry.
“Darling?” His mouth is closed, lips pursed.
“Huh?”
He’s staring at you, the bags under his eyes seeming to have lessened. It’s just the lighting, that’s all.
“I said,” Ghost’s thumb traces your cheekbone. You feel like you might faint. “Go bandage that.”
You blink, mouth forming an 'o'. “Okay,” you barely get the word out as Ghost lets his hands fall from you. Your feet are carrying you backwards as you stutter, “B-bandage. Got it, Ghost.”
You’re falling over your feet as you stumble away, nodding profusely and uttering bandage, bandage, bandage under your breath.
“Simon,” he calls, and you stop, turning to him. “It’s Simon. I’m not just a ghost, you know.”
A ghost. No he certainly is not. Not anymore. Your finger is stinging, and when you look down, it’s bleeding again. You’re tempted to point it out to Ghost– to Simon –just to see what he’ll do.
“Good night,” your bloody finger twitches involuntarily, “Simon.”

Chapter 10: Devil's Advocate
You woke up again with a start, your face buried against something hard which stirred. Groggily, you nuzzled it, unwilling to fully come to just yet. Fingers sifted through your hair as you felt a chaste kiss planted atop your head.
Oh.
The events of what had transpired the night before replayed through your mind as you kept your eyes shut, stilling yourself despite the fact that you were pressed right into Leon’s chest. Thank god you hadn’t activated Blush of Life yet and weren’t breathing. You could pretend to have fallen back to sleep a second time and he wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. Or would he? Did daysleep work this way?
“I’ll head down first and make us a drink, sleepy head.” His voice vibrated through his chest like a deep rumble as he chuckled, kissing your forehead another time before letting go.
Of course he knew you were awake, he’d been at this game for much longer and could spot the signs. The mattress shifted under his weight and the sheets piled as he rose up, your body swaying gently from the ripples of movement. Footsteps pattered across the floor and down the stairs. You heard a door open and the showerhead turn on, the sound of water splashing onto the ground drowning out the racket in your brain.
Clearer thoughts started to form. You kissed him. No, well, he kissed you first. But you kissed back. That had to mean something, right? Or was it just a pity kiss? Then why did you invite him to join you in bed? You had broken your number one rule in just over a week. Go figure.
He went through something harrowing back at the Bakers and you were being there for him as a ‘sort of’ friend. Because friends totally kiss each other. Not once, not twice, but multiple times throughout the course of the night. You tried to remember what it was like, his lips on yours as you involuntarily brushed your fingers against your mouth. It was soft and sweet, everything you wanted—
No, stop!
You felt ashamed for thinking that way. Was this some kind of Stockholm Syndrome you were experiencing? Falling for the man who turned you into what you were? You would have fallen twice then: once when you were alive, and again when you were undead. It was too much to think about first thing in the early evening. The shower turned off.
A few minutes later, you heard someone rummaging through the kitchen cabinets and the clinking of glasses. Drink first, talk later. Just play it cool and act oblivious, like you would when a customer at the cafe tried to chat you up. The greatest irony of it was that Leon had been one of them too.
Making your way towards the counter, you leaned your elbows on it, watching Leon as he poured a bag’s worth of blood into two glasses. His hair was damp and in a tousled mess from being roughly towel-dried. Beads of water trickled down his neck onto his bare chest. You swallowed thickly, realizing it was the first time you’d seen him topless with nothing but a pair of gray sweatpants on. Your eyes trailed across a scar on his left shoulder which he must’ve gotten in his mortal life, over to the gold necklace he wore without fail on a daily basis, noting the cross pendant attached to it.
A quick glance at his face confirmed that he was still concentrating on what seemed to be the longest drink-pouring process ever. So, you continued to rake your gaze along his athletic build, which you assumed was honed from police training. It traveled from his tapered waistline to his lean abs, finally reaching the hem of his pants that hung loosely on his hips.
“Drink? Or are you too busy eye fucking me right now?” he teased, a smug smile playing across his lips as he slid a glass over to you.
It was just your luck that he’d catch you red-handed. But that didn’t mean you were going to give in. You snorted, narrowing your eyes at him as you brought the rim of the glass to your mouth. “You should put a shirt on.”
“Why? Am I being a distraction?” There was that stupid wink again.
Taking a hearty swig, you allowed the blood to wash down your throat, revitalizing your senses. “You give yourself too much credit for your looks.”
Pointing at his necklace, you commented, “Guess crosses don’t burn you, huh?”
“What have I told you about silly superstitions?” He folded his arms, raising an eyebrow as he feigned a look of being unimpressed. “Only a person who possesses True Faith can use these symbols to damage us.”
“Have you met any of them?” you quizzed.
“Thankfully, no,” he admitted. “They’re rare, but some of them lie within the ranks of the SI.”
Placing the glass back onto the table, you probed further, “Were you religious back then?”
Your question must’ve taken him by surprise, as a range of mixed emotions swept across his face. “Yeah, born and baptized Catholic,” he replied, scratching the side of his head sheepishly.
The memory you’d seen of him praying in the church flashed through your mind. It must’ve been his main source of solace back then. Had it changed since? Where did he find comfort now?
“You still believe in a god?”
He pursed his lips, sipping at the remaining blood in his glass slowly. “Yes, I do,” he finally decided. “But whoever it is, I’m pretty sure they won’t have me.”
Twirling the glass in his hand, he continued, “We belong to Caine now, our Dark Father, as Noddist scholars like to say.”
Whenever Leon talked in this way, it felt like hearing a bedtime story. You wondered if he really believed in all the myths and legends Kindred liked to tell themselves. Turning your back to the counter, you pressed your palms flat on its surface, pushing yourself up so you could sit on it.
Looking over your shoulder, you met his pale blue eyes. “I never believed in anyone up there,” you stated. “Always thought we’d go back into the earth when we died.”
It was his turn to ask, “Do you fear dying?”
“Not really.” You shook your head. “I think it’s like a comatose sleep from which you never wake up. The thing is whether you suffer beforehand.”
Being able to speak freely about such morbid topics with Leon comforted you in some way, even though you found it amusing how you got there in the first place.
Discarding his glass, he circled around the counter, leaning his hip against its edge beside you. “I fear it sometimes,” he revealed quietly.
“Are you afraid of going to hell?” you suggested, wondering if it was a form of subconscious religious guilt that haunted him.
He averted his gaze. “For the things I’ve done, yeah,” he answered, offering no further explanation.
Against your better judgment, you reached out to touch his face, though he caught your hand gently in mid-air. Stroking the back of it with his thumb, he raised your palm to his lips, kissing it reverently. “But I won’t drag you down with me,” he murmured into your skin.
One thing led to another, and before you knew it, he had moved between your legs, supporting himself with his arms positioned on either side of your body. Was he doing this to distract you from the can of worms you’d almost uncovered? Would he ever truly open up to you?
For a moment, it seemed as if time stood still, while he tried to read the expression in your eyes. There was your chance — the slim window he had offered you to protest or say anything at all, but you didn’t. You couldn’t even breathe. So much for playing it cool.
Bending forward, he captured your lips in a quick kiss, breaking away to peer at you, as though he was testing the waters. It didn’t take long for him to bridge the gap again, taking your lips into his hungrily, like an animal who’d been laid out to starve in the heat. You wanted him, yet at the same time, you couldn’t. And the latter, more rational side happened to be winning in the ensuing battle.
“Mm—” Kiss. “Um—” Another kiss. “Leon?”
“Yeah?” he slurred, as if drunk on your taste, before kissing you again.
It took every ounce of your resolve to shove him off you by his shoulders. He stopped abruptly, panting through swollen lips and his eyes glazed over in want. Though they soon widened in panic as he saw the look of discomfort written across your face.
“I-I’m sorry, I thought you—”
“This isn’t right,” you whispered, trying to convince nobody but yourself. You hopped down, pushing away from the table, as you brushed past him, rubbing your mouth gingerly with your hand. “You’ve already damned me, and I feel like I hardly know you at all.”
━━━━━━━━━━━
Back at NEST, you were immediately accosted by Jill, who had been waiting eagerly for your updates on the case. At the moment, things between you and Leon were awkward. It felt like you were back to square one with him, where neither of you dared to say anything to each other. He gave you the space he thought you needed, though you could spot the worry and concern in his eyes whenever they met yours briefly.
In the server room, Leon ran through the information you had gathered from the Bakers, showing Hunnigan the supposed Sabbat hotspots they had marked out on the map.
“Good work, Leon,” she remarked appreciatively, clicking to zoom in on the areas he had highlighted on the screen. “My sources have correlated with the river route too. A bunch of homeless people going missing under the bridges. They’re probably tapping into them as vessels and potential cannon fodder.”
“It’s like they’re baiting,” Leon noted. “Their last attack was sloppily executed—”
“It was a fucking shitshow,” Jill interjected.
“Just seems like they weren’t serious about creating an army,” he deduced. “They just wanted the attention.”
Jill clicked her tongue. “No offense, but when have they ever been organized? They’ve never cared about attracting a lot of attention either.”
“True,” Leon agreed. “But even the Sabbat have their limits.”
Rocking back and forth on his feet, you could sense that he was getting nervous about what he was about to say next. Silently, you prayed that he would keep his word about not revealing Lucas’ involvement in the matter. The Baker family had helped you out and were counting on you to do the same.
“By the way, you were right, Hunnigan,” he started off. “A Sabbat member cast Dementation on them.”
Hunnigan nodded, smiling to herself in satisfaction, whereas Jill piped up, “Any clue as to who this Sabbat member is?”
You felt your throat constrict as you eyed Leon questioningly. He caught your gaze and a flicker of understanding passed between you. The corners of your mouth curled up slightly into a subtle smile, which he returned for a split second before turning to face Jill again. He was going to keep quiet about Lucas’ identity after all.
“A Malkavian,” he answered vaguely. “That’s how the Bakers sensed them through the Cobweb. But other than that, no clue as to who it is.”
Jill cocked her head, scrutinizing his features intently. “You sure?”
He met her stare dead-on with a blank expression on his face. “Of course.”
She shifted her gaze towards you briefly, squinting as she studied your reaction while you tried to remain as calm and indifferent as you could. Finally, she sighed, “Fine, what about Rebecca?”
“We’re working on it,” Leon reassured her. “Her Regent has been creating some complications, but we’ll get to her soon.”
“Listen, do whatever you need to do, Kennedy,” she ordered hastily. “We need that girl.”
Whenever Jill used his last name, he knew she meant it as a threat. Do it, or else. Time was running out, and he needed to make a decision quickly.
After the meeting, he dropped you off at the lounge, asking you to wait for him there while he ‘sorted things out’ with the Tremere Primogen. Before he left, you grabbed his hand, squeezing it as he looked back at you in astonishment.
“Thank you,” you mouthed, acknowledging his earlier efforts in keeping his promise.
You still weren’t keen on what he was about to do with the Tremere, but you could see that he was trying to change.
“Don’t mention it.” His fingers ghosted the outline of your jaw. Perhaps you just needed time and would come round to him at some point. “I won’t take long.”
On his way to the offices, he observed the Tremere Primogen busy chatting with another Kindred. He’d timed it well, taking advantage of when she usually took her breaks to socialize with others roaming around Elysium. Keeping himself inconspicuous, he slinked away from the crowd, continuing towards the more mundane areas of the building. Still, a nagging feeling burrowed deep in his chest.
Was it really such a good idea for Glenn Arias to take over as Primogen? He would essentially become a mini-dictator among the Tremere of Raccoon City. And no matter how much Leon wanted to avoid internal clan politics, he would have had a hand to play in it. A serious one, with significant consequences that, like it or not, would affect everyone else as well. Was he ready to do that?
Your words came back to haunt him. How many compromises was he willing to make? Would there be nothing left within him at the end? Just an empty shell of a man, his husk dry and withering. He wondered how the elder vampires felt as their humanity trickled away, ebbing into the recesses of the abyss. It was inevitable, a voice told him. You’re only fighting a losing battle, it added.
“What would you do?” he muttered under his breath, closing his eyes and as he imagined addressing his former mortal self.
There he was, the golden boy, fresh out of his training from the police academy. He had everything going for him then, graduating with top marks and being singled out for the fast track detective pathway within the RPD. His idealism and innocence hadn’t yet been tainted — he still knew what was right from wrong. Not this murky gray mess, like sludge he waded through to get to the other side. Each time, sinking a little deeper as the mud shifted under his feet, until he was fully covered in the filth.
The boy in front of him was beaming, his closed mouth smile stretching from ear to ear, radiant like a haloed angel. So close, he could reach out and touch him. His fingers sifted through the specter, the light refracting at different angles on his hand as it moved. For years, he had looked back on his younger persona, calling him names: naive, childish, stupid. He thought he had known better, when in fact, he knew nothing at all.
“You already know,” the figure spoke, his warm palm coming to rest on top of Leon’s shoulder before vanishing into thin air.
Opening his eyes, he took a few steps forward only to come to a halt. He thumbed the side of the file nestled in the inner pocket of his suit jacket, sucking in a sharp breath through his teeth. If this is what it would come to, then so be it.
Spinning on his heel, he headed back in the opposite direction from which he came, aborting his original plan.
━━━━━━━━━━━
“Excuse me.” Leon wedged himself politely between the Tremere Primogen and her current company, highlighting with a sense of urgency, “I’m sorry to interrupt, but may I have a word with you in private?”
Thankfully, the Primogen was apt at reading between the lines and took his cue, departing swiftly with him towards her office. Once they had settled in at her desk, he handed her the documents that had been weighing heavily on his person all this while.
“Mr. Arias put me up to this,” he proceeded cautiously, making sure to leave out your name, in case this ended up backfiring on him. “He’s been eyeing your position for a while.”
The Primogen let out a hearty laugh. “Of course he has! That scoundrel.” She shook her head, flipping through the pages within the file. “Oh, Glenn… what to do with you?”
Peeling a sheet out from the folder, she lifted it, holding it towards the beam of light hanging overhead as she examined it closely. “Hmm, impressive,” she stated. “Perfectly forged. And I know who the accomplice is as well.” She wiggled her eyebrows in mirth.
Leaning back in her seat, she rested her hands behind her head and continued, “So, tell me. What is it you want?”
“Huh?” He had partaken in many deals of a similar nature before, but for once, he was stumped.
She rolled her eyes in impatience and sighed, “You didn’t just betray Glenn out of the goodness of your heart, did you?”
Actually, he did, was what he wanted to say, but instead, he went with, “With all due respect, ma’am, I’d rather not get involved with Tremere politics.”
“Hmph,” she grunted, clearly unconvinced by his antics. “Well, let’s put it this way. Why did you head over to see Glenn in the first place?”
Smart lady, he thought. She wanted to repay the boon incurred as soon as possible to avoid it hanging over her head.
“I needed to make contact with Ms. Chambers,” he narrated earnestly. “Her expertise would prove insightful in tying up some loose ends we’ve had with the recent attacks.”
At this, she sat up straight, scooping up the bunch of papers as she tapped them triumphantly against the table to align the edges before stowing them away in the folder. “Then, consider it done, Mr. Kennedy.”
He rose to his feet and bowed respectfully. “Thank you for your assistance.”
She waved him off as if it were no bother. “I’ll need some time to take care of… her Regent,” she added slyly. “He’s had it coming though, I can assure you. Now, we’ll finally be able to put an end to this nonsense.”
“Shall we say end of the week?” she suggested, already planning her next steps and penning down the appointment date in her scheduler without waiting for his reply.
Nonetheless, he thought it courteous to do so. “Yes, that works,” he uttered to the blank wall in front of him, while she had her head buried in her notes, scribbling some random symbols on them as she hummed.
“Perfect,” she answered, still not looking up from her desk.
Was it really that easy? He couldn’t believe it, thinking that there must be some sort of trick lying in wait as he shuffled awkwardly out of the office. But there was none. Perhaps he had been wrong about things all along.
━━━━━━━━━━━
In the meantime, you’d been waiting anxiously within your booth, occasionally glancing at the curtains, hoping to see Leon’s face rather than some security personnel coming to escort you away for a crime that was being committed at that very moment. The curtains drew open slightly and a familiar head poked through. Too familiar. You were experiencing a serious case of fucking déjà vu.
“Darling…” her smooth, velvety voice made the hairs at the back of your neck stand.
“What do you want, Ada?” you asked, not caring to mask the mistrust in your voice. With the way your last meeting with her went, you wanted to avoid her at all costs.
She tutted, sildling over to you as you inched away. “You’re beginning to sound a lot like him, you know?”
Him. Your sire. Leon.
“That’s not a bad thing,” you stated defensively.
“Is that so?” she asked coyly. “Where is your sire now, anyway?”
She gave off an air of disinterest, but it was all pretense. You knew she knew.
“He’s busy.”
She scoffed, picking at her fingernails. “Too busy to teach his childe properly it seems.”
Anger boiled in your veins. How dare she speak about Leon that way? “And you would know better?” you seethed.
This appeared to amuse her as she laughed in your face. “I taught him everything he needed to know, which is the reason he’s still alive,” she countered. “But you, my dear, won’t last a day without him.”
“That’s a lie—”
“When was the last time you fed properly?” Her voice overpowered yours with ease.
She meant through a hunt, not a ready-made blood bag waiting for you in Leon’s fridge, mocking you for being spoon-fed and pampered like the princess you were. You bit your lip, at a loss for words as you diverted your gaze.
“Thought so,” she declared. “It seems to me you haven’t truly accepted who you are, and your sire’s overprotectiveness is going to cause your downfall.”
“Why do you care?” you spat. You weren’t her childe; she wasn’t responsible for you.
Leaning forward, she whispered, “Well, if you must know, he paid a pretty price for you. So, I’d rather not see you make a fool of yourself — and by extension, him — especially when you have such potential.”
Your ears pricked up at her first sentence. Somehow, she had aroused your attention again. Turning to face her, you asked, “What kind of price?”
Evading your question, she followed up with another explanation of her own. “You see, it’s no secret that I’m more of a sire who would throw their childe into the deep end for them to adapt and survive.”
“You mean, what you did to me at the Rose Garden,” you concluded. Had Leon taken you instead, you would’ve been shielded from the elder vampires due to his presence. Would that have worked out for better or worse in the long run?
“Very good, you’re catching on.” She nodded approvingly. “Like it or not, everyone has their place in the hierarchy, and you will never be able to escape Kindred politics. So, it’s time you start learning.”
You wondered where she was going with this conversation. There was a sinking feeling in your stomach that this wasn’t bound to end well, but curiosity got the better of you, and you stayed rooted to the couch to listen.
“There will come a point where you’ll need to make deals of your own,” she forewarned. “Deals that you may not like. Even your sire has had his fair share of them.”
Was she trying to lower your opinion of him? Something inside of you made you want to fight back. “I know that,” you snapped. “But he’s a good person.”
You said it so genuinely that Ada paused for a moment in stunned silence, before she broke out into a roguish smile. A smile that instantly told you that you were clinging onto false hope.
“Are you sure?” she challenged. “How well do you know him?”
They were the questions you’d been dreading, but you couldn’t give up on him. Not now.
“Yes, he is,” you repeated, though it came out more like a squeak. “I know it.” You didn’t. But that didn’t stop you from wanting to believe.
“What is he doing now then?”
“None of your goddamn business,” you barked, biting your inner cheek until you tasted blood. You knew she was trying to rile you up and you needed to get a hold on yourself, but she was relentless.
“What do you think he did as my lover for over ten years?” She glowed victoriously as if she had won a game of chess. Check-fucking-mate.
“He never told you about the vessel business, did he?”
“What do you mean by that?” you croaked, even though you had an inkling of what it entailed. It wasn’t difficult to guess from the terminology used, but maybe you had a masochistic side that still wanted to hear it from the horse’s mouth.
“There are some Kindred who have an acquired taste, and some who merely want to try something exquisite,” she explained. “If you could afford the best of the best, wouldn’t you too want to partake in it?”
Bile rose to your throat as you protested weakly, “No.” It was all you could utter. You felt the energy drain from your body as you braced for the worst.
“Your sire delivered such vessels to me, in exchange for favors,” she revealed salaciously. “That’s his place in the hierarchy.”
Tears welled up in your eyes as you cast your gaze downwards, clenching your fists as hard as you could to stop yourself from screaming. How could you fall for this worthless piece of shit? To think you even tried to defend him earlier made you nauseous.
But the final nail in the coffin was when she disclosed, “In fact, he was supposed to make me a delivery, just around the time when he found you.”
Your eyes shot up to meet hers.
“Sad to say, he still owes me on that one,” she added.
It was you. You were meant to be the vessel. Cupping your hands over your mouth, you took in painful, labored breaths. The little world you had idealized for the two of you was crumbling. The room spun and it felt as if your heart had been ripped out of its chest and torn asunder.
“Angel…?” You heard his voice calling out to you, but you couldn’t respond.
“Ada, what did you do?” His tone turned accusing.
“Her sire’s job,” she replied rather matter-of-factly. “Telling her the things she should hear.”
Dashing over to you, he clasped your hands in his. You pulled away, getting up from the couch as you socked him in the gut, winding him. He crouched over, clutching his abdomen and panting.
“Was I the perfect vessel for you?” you taunted, your voice dripping with venom.
A tumultuous storm brewed in his eyes, filled with self-loathing and despair. He couldn’t deny your statement, but it wasn’t the whole story. “You meant so much more to me,” he professed. “Always have, always will.”
“You’re despicable,” you hissed. “You make me sick.”
He couldn’t bear to look at you when you said that. Your hatred for him stabbed deep, carving a gaping hole in his heart. Instead, he directed his rage towards Ada, his face red and puffy as he yelled, “You think you’re so righteous? Tell her what you fucking did to me!”
She smirked at him in response before quietly walking away. Her work here was done.
When he turned back to you, there was a maddened, hysterical look in his gaze. “She blood bonded me and I was forced to do her dirty work!” he exclaimed.
But you weren’t listening anymore. All you could hear was the rush of blood pounding in your ears. “Are you still bonded?” you contested. “Who’s forcing you now?”
His mouth opened and closed like a fish on dry land gasping for air. He had nothing left to say in his defense. There was no one else to blame but himself; he had been the monster all along.

I'm mad Tumblr ate my anon asks (it's not appearing in my Drafts????) but luckily I have a copy saved to my email so:
Tumblr media
HEY YOUR DRACULA ANIMATIC IS SO SO GOOD I can't comment on youtube (bc I have no account) but I've watched it like 10 times now, the song fits so well and the art is incredible, I love all your character designs and the way you portray all the scenes is so spot on!
I just finished re: dracula and idk how you managed to tell the whole story so well in under 4 minutes but it was amazing I love the way you use color in the animatic, the use of mostly black/white/grey is so good for evoking the specific type of horror story this is, and it makes the red in the blood and in dracula's eyes stick out in a way that is absolutely brilliant and that last shot with the sunset is GORGEOUS and then the epilogue!!! I love that you did the epilogue to and having the gentle piano music and doing it in full color gives it such a peaceful and comforting feeling, the drawing of quincey and lucy in it in the afterlife together is so sweet <3 the detail that went into this is amazing, like the captain of the demeter having the rosary even though we only see it for a second, I keep wanting to pause on every single frame so I can properly admire all the cool art lol, also the things like jonathan's beard growing out after dracula breaks the mirror, and the rosary hanging above his bed, and dracula still having the scar from the shovel in the final showdown
AND THE PART WHERE DRACULA CATCHES THE LETTER... literally the way you tell the whole story with (almost) NO WORDS in not even 4 minutes and the whole thing flows so smoothly is incredible I love the way you do like the zoom out thing on some places, it adds a whole new dimension to it visually also the way you draw mina and jonathan after the october 3rd bit is lovely, your jonathan looks so cool with the white hair and i love how you did mina's scar, and the part where her scar disappears at the end was such a cool way to depict that and the difference between human lucy and vampire lucy is done so well, like it's so clearly the same character but you can really see how she's not herself anymore, and the way you used that when they kill vampire lucy and show arthur's resolve to use the stake bc he's now seeing her as a monster who replaced and essentially killed the woman he loved and he wants revenge, literally I will never be over how much story and emotion you managed to fit into a single music video and the way you did quincey's death? crying at that part tbh.
AND THE FRAME OF DRACULA GETTING BEHEADED WITH THE RED BACKGROUND.... IS JUST *chef's kiss* I was going to say I have no words for how much I love this but clearly I have quite a lot of words lol, thank you tumblr for not having a character limit anyway have a good day/night :)
Anon I'm so sorry for this delayed reply,,, I kept rereading this in awe and didn't want to release it into the wild (and it still got eaten anyways-)
I'm so glad you enjoyed the character design!! It's not my strong suit at all so that's reassuring. The colour scheme lowkey started out as a timesaving measure, but it also allowed for me to render scenes with detail that I otherwise couldn't've with the tight time frame I had, since at the time I was also juggling university assignments. I'm glad the sunset scene hit as hard as it did, since I had also just discovered Disco Elys/ium, so it was an attempt to emulate Rostov's illustration of Harry on Filippe III's statue). It worked out in the end anyways, since the grayscale + red accent combined with a colourful epilogue gave a "the horror is now in the past, and we are in a (literally visually) livelier future)" <3
I've seen so many people say they want to pause on each frame to examine it in detail, and guess what, you can get a zip file of them all as watermarkless pngs in my kofi! For free! It's pay-what-you-want since I just really wanted to get as many eyes on this as possible, but any tips would definitely still be appreciated.
It was fun mapping out the match cuts and transitions e.g Dracula catching the letter, Mina and Dracula with Lucy in the churchyard, since the previous semester I'd taken a storyboarding class that taught that, so I HAD to include it. Zoom outs helped add visual interest to otherwise still shots, so I'm glad they didn't come off as overdone haha.
It was tough mapping out what storybeats to include, but I'm super happy that the angst for all the key moments in the video hit right :D Was worried about losing momentum after leaving the Jonathan in Dracula's castle bit, and so I really wanted the ending of each verse(?) to correspond with a red screen injury— notice that "you'd better let yourself off and, while you still have strength in your legs, escape from this horrible hell/你最好放过自己 趁双脚还有力气, 快逃出这可怕地狱" always ends with some character harming another, and when the verse repeats again but with the ending lyrics changed "you’d better let yourself off, rather than crying out to another, “Save me!”... Save me!/你最好放过自己 胜过跟谁叫救命... 救命!", it still ends with Van Helsing staking the 3 vampire women. And of course, the ending "escape from this horrible hell/快逃出这可怕地狱" ends with the sunset, its red now replacing that of the blood the characters had to spill previously, signalling an end to their necessary monstrosity (and also a literal monster with Dracula dying).
Like with the frame of Dracula getting beheaded, the timesaving measures, limited skills (plus lack of any sort of storyboarding software, I was just ""animating"" the movements with Shotcut) forced me to find creative workarounds. I could fill at least 3 pages with writing dissecting all my choices lol but idt therell be much interest in me analysing my own art. Thank you so much for watching my animatic :)

♡ A guide to emo, goth, and scene! ♡
So since I see a lot of confusion over certain subcultures are and the differences between them, I thought I would make somewhat of a master post basically outlining the characteristics and differences of three aesthetics that I see misinterpreted a lot. If I do at any point get something wrong, feel free to correct me because I really don't intend to spread misinformation.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
🎀 Emo
Emo is a music based subculture that first emerged in the 80s out of the hardcore scene. The name emo came from the music genre emocore, which was short for emotional hardcore. The fashion is typically pretty casual, with some staples being straightened and teased hair with a sideways fringe, black clothing, band shirts, arm warmers, sneakers, skinny jeans, fishnets, arm warmers, wide leg pants, studded belts, and merchandise from various properties like Emily The Strange, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Ruby Gloom.
Since the early days of emo, the music in the subculture has expanded outside of hardcore and post-hardcore, and has since gone on to include alternative rock, horror punk, metalcore, pop punk, and screamo. Some of the most prominent artists in the scene are Avril Lavigne, Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Panic! at the Disco, Paramore, Pierce The Veil, and Sleeping With Sirens.
Since the subculture is mainly music based, fashion is not as important to being considered part of the scene. Therefore, not dressing in a specific way while listening to the music wouldn't make you a poser, but dressing emo while not listening to the music would. What is not considered emo is listening to a random genre of rock music. Bands like Metallica and Nirvana, while enjoyed by many emos, are not emo bands and therefore don't make someone emo. Furthermore, I can't believe I need to say this, but, contrary to what many people seem to think, kawaii people are also not emo. While it is common for kawaii people to listen to metal and other heavy music genres, their style is not at all similar to emo and they don't consider themselves as part of the subculture either.
🎀 Goth
Goth is probably the oldest subculture here, with it dating back to the 70s English punk scene, with bands like Siouxsie and the Banshees and The Cure pioneering the culture. The post-punk band Bauhaus' debut single 'Bela Lugosi's Dead,' a song inspired by the famous horror actor Bela Lugosi, who portrayed Dracula in the 1931 film adaptation and also starred in White Zombie which is a film that's typically referred to as the first zombie movie, is often considered the first gothic rock song.
Goth is a subculture with many different sub-subcultures. Some of the most popular are batcave, bubble goth, cyber goth (formerly referred to as gravers), death rock, mall goth (formerly known as spooky kids), nu goth, romantic goth, steampunk, vampire goth, and, my personal favourite, gothic lolita. Contrary to what many people think, I don't consider aesthetics like pastel goth (which I do love) to really be a part of goth since it doesn't have roots in goth. Obviously I'm not going to go over every substyle because that would take way too long and would have to require its own post, but some common staples in most of these styles is lots of black, horror-inspired imagery, very big teased hair, black or red lipstick (red was the most common in the earlier days), and very pale almost white skin. Therefore, e-girls and emos (e-girls especially) are not goth. Also, the fetishisation of the 'big tiddy goth girlfriend' is very demeaning and offensive to goths, as well as just not funny at all because of how it objectifies and reduces them to simply walking breasts who wear black.
Goth music is, in my opinion, some of the most accesible and palatable alternative music. The most popular genres are dark wave, electronic rock, gothic rock, industrial metal and rock, new wave, and post-punk. Some of the most popular bands are Bauhaus, Evanescence, Joy Division, Marilyn Manson, Rammstein, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Birthday Massacre, and The Cure.
🎀 Scene
Scene is an aesthetic that originated in the 2000s on the website MySpace as a derivative aesthetic to emo. Many scene kids were considered emo posers because of their unconventional style and the music they listened to, which included genres ranging from crunkcore to metalcore, often being considered 'trashy' by other subcultures. Despite all of the hate towards scene kids, many embraced their label and many of the most popular people in the subculture started being known as scene queens who are also often credited as the first influencers. This included people such as Ambrehhhisdead, LedaMonsterBunny, and Melissa Marie Green.
Some staples to the style are colourful clothes, straightened and teased hair with colourful raccoon hair extensions, the scene swoop fringe, brass knuckles or diamond necklaces, bows, leopard print, zebra print, colourful shorts, tutus, tight clothes, sunglasses, knee high converse, band shirts, and merchandise of characters like Gir from Invader Zim, Gloomy Bear, and Hello Kitty. Personally, I would consider the modern rendition of scene, scenecore, to be a different aesthetic that, while it is pretty similar to scene, typically borrows from aesthetics like glitchcore rather than emo or mcbling.
Scene music is pretty diverse in what it provides, as it ranges from very heavy genres such as deathcore and metalcore to more pop and rap adjacent genres like crunkcore and neon pop. Some of the most prominent artists are 3OH!3, All Time Low, Asking Alexandria, Blood on the Dance Floor (unfortunately), Bring Me The Horizon, Brokencyde, Cobra Starship, Dot Dot Curve, Jeffree Star, Ke$ha, Metro Station, and Millionaires. A lot of the music is known to ignore many of the typically conventions of music, with the lyrics often containing themes relating to partying and sex.

Hi ily
I am BEGGING for a Miguel x reader based on the song Vampire Disco by Friday Pilots Club
I can just imagine steamy tension
I hope you like the song too I can’t stop listening to it
Had to listen to the song in order to know what to write, haha. Not my kind of song, I prefer my Falling in Reverse, but thank you for the song rec anyway!!!
Here we go! Let's hope I have an idea, I had to pull up the lyrics bc I was a little confused on the song, haha
Warning: Fluff, sexual tension
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Let's call it hesitation I feel it in your bones You're running out of patience You already know
There was a loaming tension in the air as you walked in. Miguel attempted to avoid your gaze, but even he knew that it was impossible. With a heavy sigh, Miguel leaned back in his seat as he made eye contact with you.
Miguel had always been a ladies man. As the smartest man in Alchemax, Miguel always had to destress some way, shape or form. However, when you started working at Alchemax, Miguel felt like changing his ways.
You had wanted his attention, but Miguel knew that you deserved better than him.
Miguel had tried to push away each of your advances. Some were harder than others. As much as Miguel wanted to give in, he couldn't. You didn't deserve someone like him. The worst part was that Miguel could see you slowly losing your patience with him.
It hurt. Miguel wanted to reach for you as you just gave him a sad smile.
You're keeping up a breakneck pace I like the way you say my name You're stirring up a brand new age I want you to know
Miguel shuddered each time his name rolled off your tongue. He knew that it wasn't intentional, but your voice as you said his name was so sexy. It gave Miguel wet dreams at night.
Breaking another pencil as you bend down to grab something you dropped, Miguel could hardly take it. You were tempting him so much. It felt like you were trying to get his attention a lot faster than Miguel had wanted.
He couldn't stand the tension.
Even with your sadden patience, you were still trying to win Miguel over. Fixing your hair, you gave Miguel a smile before calling out for him. Miguel grunted softly as he motioned you over, slowly losing his grip on his own will.
Yeah, she's a death wish I don't think we're ever gonna fix this Backtrack 'til we're dancing on the kill switch What's the point of praying for the wicked?
Don't think that I wanna know Don't think that I wanna know Don't think that I wanna know Don't think that I wanna know
Miguel had his hands against your waist, his face close to yours. You had tripped and were about to hit the ground before Miguel had caught you. The air felt stiff as you melted against his touch. Miguel's breath hitching as he drew closer to you.
Just before pulling away.
She's bringing Armageddon A paramour on high Salvage for the vicious You're just dying to try
Miguel could feel the dry lump in his throat as you prepped yourself for a party. Part of him wanted to tell you to focus on your work. Part of him wanted to tell you not to go. He knew that some random guy was going to hit on you.
You belonged to him.
Slowly making his way towards you, Miguel rubbed the back of his neck. He shouldn't be doing this. You deserved better than this...whatever this was between the two of you. But...despite his better sane wishes...
Miguel asked if he could go with you.
I'm keeping up a breakneck pace I like the way you say my name We're stirring up a brand new age I want you to know
Yeah, she's a death wish I don't think we're ever gonna fix this Backtrack 'til we're dancing on the kill switch What's the point of praying for the wicked? Don't think that I wanna know
Everything felt out of place as Miguel danced beside you. He couldn't focus on the music, the lights, or anything. Miguel's attention was solely on you as you danced before him.
Your hands holding his as your hips swayed to the music. This was not the place Miguel wanted to be, but you were here. With a soft groan, Miguel leaned towards your touch.
Fall right back into your gaze Heaven sent for endless praise (meet me here in waiting) Everlasting cold embrace (under gold and bones) She's my final resting place (no solace for the taking)
Your smile brighten as you pulled Miguel aside. Miguel wasn't sure were you were taking him, but he didn't care. Your beautiful eyes piercing into his soul as the two of you stood alone on the club's balcony.
This was it.
Miguel knew that he couldn't hold himself back much longer. His hands stroking down your waist as you leaned closer to him. Miguel's lips felt dry. Needing to meet them against yours for much needed relief.
Your arms wrapped around his neck, causing Miguel to feel a shiver down his spine. Never had he felt this good. Pressing your body against the edge, Miguel groaned softly as his lips finally connected with yours.
Fireworks running up his spine.
Finally.
Yeah, she's a death wish I don't think we're ever gonna fix this Backtrack 'til we're dancing on the kill switch What's the point of praying for the wicked?
Don't think that I wanna know Don't think that I wanna know Don't think that I wanna know Don't think that I wanna know
Yeah, kill switch, we're never gonna let it go!
Miguel could feel his lust sinking in with every kiss. Your lips not wanting to part with his. The heat of your body pressed up against his, wanting more. Feeling your hands against his hair, Miguel groaned as he pulled away.
This was moving so fast.
But Miguel enjoyed it. Now that he finally had you in his grasp, Miguel was sure to not let you go. He made himself wait this long to your temptations.
He wasn't going to let you go.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope you liked it!!! I tried my best!!!!!

Top 10 Spuffy fics I’ve read (June 2023)
Chiaroscuro by OffYourBird [R]
At first, Buffy wasn’t even sure it was him. He was all the way across the gallery, far enough that he was reduced to chiaroscuro in motion—a shock of white hair swathed in rich black leather, his eyes dark and glittering and his skin nearly ivory in the bright gallery lights.
Choke by Trisha [PG]
Just how prophetic was Buffy's speech at the end of Bring on the Night? Set at the end of season 7.
Echoes by Holly [NC-17]
A slayer barters with a demon to rescue her lover and finds herself unwittingly projected nearly three hundred years into the future with no memory of the life she left behind.
Operation Cookie Delivery by cawthraven [NC-17]
She said she was cookie dough. Well, the timer just went off--and good time, because it's almost Christmas, and what's Christmas without cookies?
They Always Burn by Dusty [PG-13]
Through the elements they fall. Until nothing's left at all.
Vampire In Charcoal by Geliot99 [NC-17]
Hiring out her mother's art gallery for classes had been a stroke of genius, but when the life model for the upcoming class comes down with the flu and an extremely unsuitable replacement is found last minute, Buffy is faced with a lot more of her nemesis than she was ever anticipating.
where the shadow ends by disco-tea [R]
For 147 days, Spike and Dawn grieve Buffy. This is a story of a vampire and a Key who try to cope with the loss of the one person who meant the most to them…and how they became a family along the way.
Why Are There 26 Letters? by Indi_Shaw [NC-17]
While watching a movie with some kinky scenes, Buffy finds herself wanting to explore her kinky side with her vampire. Spike offers her the chance to experience one kink for every letter of the alphabet.
Wild Thing by violettathepiratequeen [PG-13]
When Buffy jumps off Glory's tower, Spike's demon doesn't take it well. What is Buffy to do when she comes back home to a creature just as lost as she is?
Wine-Colored by OffYourBird [NC-17]
There are so many shades of red, but Buffy sticks to the one she knows best.
