We had a great day exploring Ben Boyd National Park. It is so good to get back on some dirt roads, even if they were easy ones 🚙 . . 1&2. Boyd's tower - used as a lighthouse and whale sighting station. 3&4. Green Cape Lighthouse - the second tallest and southern most lighthouse in NSW 5. Forest Days in Victoria State

Von Merimbula folgte ich der einzigen Straße, die nach Melbourne geht. Der Highway 1 sollte mir die nächsten Tage, viel Schweiß kosten…

Es folgten endlose Kilometer mit ständigen Auf und Abs. Für Abwechslung Untertags sorgten die häufigen Schlaglöcher.

Das Highlight des Streckenabschnittes war auf alle Fälle “Disaster-Bay”. 40 Kilometer Gravelroad durch den Wald wurden mit einem Ausblick gedankt, der für Gänsehaut sorgte.

Nach Disaster Bay folgten noch langweilige Radtage durch den Wald bevor sich die Bäume kurz vor Orbost endlich lichteten.
