I'm back reporting on the shared clothing in Peaceful Property...for anyone who's still interested.

Last week's ep - ep 9 - was low on shared clothing but the one that did get worn was a doozy. It's now been worn in one of three colour and fabric variations by ten different characters across nine different shows and two countries.

But on to ep 10 and we were graced with four new items for the communal wardrobe...and of course all of them have already been worn in either Only Friends or Last Twilight.

The first, worn by Peach (and Nick)

Then another also worn by Nick and of course Somkid (who seems to be getting the most of the shared clothing)

And yet another worn by Nick but this time on Home

And then another for Somkid, this time also worn by Mhok (and which might also be used in My Golden Blood)

Incidentally, Somkid also wore Day's shirt in the above pic too.

So far we're on to 27 items of the communal wardrobe worn in Peaceful Property. I know there's one more in next week's ep, Night (Nanon in Dirty Laundry) and Mew's "What if I Block You In Real Life?" t-shirt, but I'm of course hoping for more!

We're on to the penultimate ep of Peaceful Property and to distract myself from the show ending (and the general shitshow that's going on in the world) I'm focusing as always on the clothes.

I knew Peach was going to be wearing the "What if I block you in real life" t-shirt (also worn in Dirty Laundry and [of course] Only Friends) from the trailer at the end of last week's ep (and aptly during their fake argument as well!)

But I was wholly unexpecting THE linin shirt of Jul - Oct 2023 to make a reappearance (especially since Mew wore both the above t-shirt and the linin shirt at the same time in OF). This grey short-sleeved version was also worn in Be My Favourite and Wedding Plan

But in case you didn't know, there is also a brown short-sleeved version...

And a cream/beige long-sleeved version

In addition, this ep we also got two new items to the communal wardrobe. The first worn by our resident hand-me-downer Somkid, and also worn in (yep, you guessed it) Only Friends

And the second worn by Peach, which also appeared in, surprisingly, Vice Versa and UMG

And now for a bit of a throwback because in my search for the above yellow and navy shirt in my screenshots, I discovered another one all the way back in ep 6 which was also worn in Last Twilight - the text reads "I know I am incoherent".

We're now up to 32 items of clothing on the communal wardrobe which have been worn in Peaceful property - sadly nowhere near the 71 that Only Friends (currently) has, and with only one ep to go it probably won't climb into second place either to beat Last twilight (with 46). But it is currently in joint third place with The Trainee. Not surprising really, since it's the same costume designer on all four!

So many thoughts about Dirty Laundry. This show never disappoints with its sheer outlandishness. But what is really striking is the story under the surface in Jojo's trademark style. It starts out with all the everyday folk having antagonistic relationships with each other and suspicious of each other. And now, they have all helped each other out, with Night and Neon getting ready to fight the actual big boss. Showing that the regular working class people aren't each other's real enemies, but actually the rich and powerful are. And Jojo is very good at relaying these messages through a story rather than an explicit statement.
