I’m a very city girl and now I’m imagining going to the country side and meeting farmtale Sans…

You moved there for some reason and need a place to stay, Sans was kind enough to give you somewhere to stay with some chores to do to lower your rent. You’re not experienced and you’re not that good with the chores- sometimes farm animals freak you out (cows are big, theres so many chickens, what iS THAT GIANT SPIDER?!), you can’t move heavy stuff around, even the tools are heavy for you.

And… Sans thinks you’re cute. He can do the work you do much faster than you could, but he likes your company. Every time you drop a stack of hay and panic he can’t help but chuckle and throw it on top of the pile in his arms. He likes how you’re impressed by his skill with tools and the fact that he can drive tractors. You may not be good at your job, but he likes that you want to learn anyway. You like the animals when he teaches you how to read their behavior better.

He really likes it when he saves you from a giant bug and you give him “my hero” eyes…

do you know how hard it would be to be patricks enemy - its easy to piss him off, he runs hot, his fuse is short - but he lets shit go, just as quick. you'd have to really break his heart, be someone so fucking fake you make his skin itch just to be around you, so against being honest he wonders if you're even real or if you're just a puppet.

the censorship in monkey man wasn't as bad as i feared but you can definitely tell where they took out HUGE chunks of story. it felt like watching the ghost of a movie and i mourn for what we lost but i am still so so glad this movie exists and was made. the bones where the criticism used to be still exists and i really appreciate them not filling it, the empty space is so conspicuous and for those who Know, we Knew. god it's such a visceral and cathartic experience, dev patel the man you are

Every time Etho drops a lore tidbit everyone is like “omg he’s an insane wild man living in the middle of a forest in a cave and riding moose around” but also most of the things he says are very similar to how I live. Yes I live in a forested area and have a generator and also strong wifi at the same time, yes I have multiple axes and a pickaxe that I actually use and have used. And I’ve had run ins with moose before. It’s not THAT insane or abnormal. I’m not even Canadian! I swear it’s not that crazy.

pitching in on this minecraft plant light business, I own a plant growth light and it shines the most pure form of purple i have ever seen. i do not own plants but am obsessed with the color purple, which necessitates my possession of this light. if you look directly at this light (not advisable; can cause blindness) you will find that it is not actually shining purple it is shining the perfect amount of red and blue side by side. which makes sense, when looking at the graph that states that red and blue light are the two lights which are the most effective.

I’m thinking crying obsidian would be one hell of a grow light underground (not necessarily in effectiveness on its own but most certainly in epic was and aesthetics) and could be made more effective if you presume that the liquid that drips from crying obsidian could perhaps be filled with nutrients and water which would rain steadily down upon whichever plant you decided to grow, negating the need for watering, fertilizing, or rotating the crops every few years.

(i really enjoy you owning a fancy porple light just for the vibe) As soon as you mentioned crying obsidian, i thought about how it glows and how they could Possibly use that. Tbf, they got all the time in the world to figure more advanced systems out!

Idk how advanced I'll get with it, since that psudo game science can definitely get convoluted, but it would make for some very cool background details!!
