Also while I was catching up on all things Homestuck, I saw in Pesterquest that you have the option to stop Dirk from becoming his ultimate self by having Dave talk to him (FROM the tl where he [redacted]) and they hug. Then they’re shown at the victory screen together joking around—

Why the fuck is Dirk such an absolute tragic ass character like he has never caught a break!!!!!!

​And I know that he does all that other shit with his ultimate self but you know what. I would have also went down the scorched earth route if I knew that shit would be happening to my alternate selves
