So I'm 22 years old now.

As we all know, my country had experienced the worst nightmare -- Haiyan/Yolanda supertyphoon. This past few weeks, my countrymen in the Visayas part struggled and faced the tragedy that breaks their houses, their families, their hearts, their faith. I'm staying in Manila and my family is in Bataan. Thank God! He spared us. But how can I be this grateful if I'm hearing in everyday news and seeing photos in social media how helpless Yolanda victims are! A week before my birthday, I reflect, it's not the great time to party, to celebrate, but netizens are very cooperative, they share posts about different ways to help and reach people who were affected by the supertyphoon. And I just found out that The Moment Group of Restaurants in Greenbelt Makati supports Yolanda Action Weekend.

So how about a birthday dinner?! A dine-for-a-cause! Yea, I know that this is a very very small help :( But I believe that collective efforts will be super helpful in the end. :)

November 17th was my birthday :)  And yes, we supported the Yolanda Action Weekend, we dined in Namnam restau. Why don't we choose a restaurant serving local cuisine? :)
