Gunmen of the Apocalypse: Starbug is attacked by a Simulant battleship and infected with a virus which overrides it's navicomp. Lister, Rimmer and Cat use the AR machine to enter Kryten's mind, which has taken the form of the Wild West, in order to fight the virus.

Dimension Jump: Rimmer catches the crew going on a fishing trip without him, forcing them to reluctantly bring him along. However, Starbug collides with the ship of Ace Rimmer, a more popular and successful version of Rimmer from an alternate universe.

Harry couldn't remember the last time he had felt this happy, in recent years. It would have also been credit to Taylor or the Weasleys, no doubt....but this was just a perfect moment. He was surrounded by people he cared about, a large family that was expanding, and he had Taylor, Ron, and Hermione beside him. It was the perfect way to celebrate reaching wizarding legal adulthood.

Taylor's purred promise made him blush, trying not to let his imagination get away from him. Though judging by the knowing smirk on George's face, he might not be too far off.... And that proved true, as he was sneakily led away from Charlie's haircut doom and upstairs.

Now that was how to celebrate a birthday.

His hair was unapologetically ruffled and he had to switch shirts to something with a higher collar to cover a particularly gorgeous bite left on his collarbone, and Harry was grinning helplessly as they rejoined the family downstairs. Hermione took one look at him, then Taylor, then went pink and giggled, and George gave him a passing high five that confirmed his suspicion of who had been on keep everyone downstairs duty.

Their dinner guests began arriving, and Harry found himself seated at the head of the table in the garden as they feasted, and then Molly brought out truly the most breathtaking culinary creation he had ever seen. He had to leap up and hug her again, tears in his eyes as he thanked her.

"First day of the best start of my life," Harry said fondly, beaming back at Hagrid. "I mean, having Taylor growing up was grand, but finding out we were headed for Hogwarts....life got good." He examined the small bag Hagrid handed him, and its explanation made him smile, hopping up to give Hagrid the closest to a hug that he could manage. "Thank you! This is amazing." Oh, it would come in handy as they traveled, he was sure of that.

“S’nothin’,” Hagrid laughed. “An’ there’s Charlie! Always liked him—hey! Charlie!” Charlie approached, running his hand slightly ruefully over his new, brutally short haircut. He was shorter than Ron, thickset, with a number of burns and scratches up his muscly arms. “Hi, Hagrid, how’s it going?” “Bin meanin’ ter write fer ages. How’s Norbert doin’” “Norbert?” Charlie laughed. “The Norwegian Ridgeback? We call her Norberta now.” “Wha—Norbert’s a girl?”

“How can you tell?” Hermione asked with intrigue.

“They’re a lot more vicious.” Charlie grinned knowingly. "Can't say that's unusual, though, I've always thought women are scarier by far. He looked over his shoulder and dropped his voice. “Wish Dad would hurry up and get here. Mum’s getting edgy."

Harry looked over; Molly was talking to Madame Delacour, while glancing repeatedly at the gate. “I think we’d better start without Arthur,” she called to the garden at large after a moment or two. “He must have been held up at—oh!”

A streak of light that came flying across the yard and onto the table, where it resolved itself into a bright silver weasel, which stood on its hind legs and spoke with Mr. Weasley’s voice. “Minister of Magic coming with me.”

The Patronus vanished, leaving Mrs. Weasley looked bewildered. “The Minister—but why—? I don’t understand...."

I really like the idea of Dimension Jump kind of acting as a “catalyst” for eventual Rimster.

Ace and Lister were so close and friendly with each other in that episode (such as with their nicknames, Ace singing Rastabilly Skank with Lister, etc.), and Lister genuinely liked spending time with and talking to him. If they genuinely hooked up during that episode, I think that would be the prompt for Lister to realise he may have positive feelings for Rimmer (rather than just hate and irritation).

In a way, I’m imagining Lister crushing on Ace, and when the feelings are reciprocated, him realising that when Ace leaves he’s going to be on a spaceship with Rimmer and a LOT of unresolved feelings.

Dimension Jump surely has to win an award for being the gayest Red Dwarf episode

There's so much I could say but it would probably turn into an essay so I'm just gonna post my rambling thoughts instead

First, you've got Bongo coming onto Ace. He says he's "strictly butter side up", but I feel like he would definitely say that just to save Bongo's feelings. Then...

I am still genuinely shook that this is a real scene lmfao. I wanted to know - what was the purpose of this scene being interrupted? Obviously Rimmer's hypocrisy here is obvious.

Even more fascinating is that I had no idea the scene was trimmed (for time), and Rimmer actually interrupts Kryten to say: "You may not, Kryten." He points at him accusingly, BUT HE DOESN'T ARGUE WITH IT. He just goes on to say he hopes he's died out there.

He is SO obsessed with Ace's sexuality, because his masculinity and sexuality feel threatened. I wonder if he even knows that he's gay on some conscious level and he doesn't want Ace's behaviour to out him, so he tries his hardest to draw a line between them.

Then there's all the stuff with Lister. The camera focuses on Lister's reactions to Ace so much. The first reaction to Ace we get is Lister's. He looks a bit scared tbh LMAO ("oh no, he's hot"), and Ace and Skipper's dynamic is so damn fun. Wish we could have seen more of them together honestly.

Then this whole exchange between Rimmer and Lister always gets me

Even though he's being an ass, I genuinely feel quite bad for Rimmer here because he's genuinely just trying to get Lister to understand why it upsets him. Of course, Lister is the only person he'd feel comfortable mentioning this to.

Everytime Rimmer spits acid about Ace and Lister's relationship, Lister doesn't deny anything, he just points out "but he's you". (Also Rimmer doesn't really deny Lister's comment about his PhD in being handsome and wonderful lol)

SOOOOOO I’ve been gone (art wise) for a long while apparently.

Evelyn’s changed while I was gone! I’m almost certain I’m switching her surname from Walker to St. Rose… because it has such a cool ring to it, Evelyn St. Rose… I didn’t hear the surname from nowhere, I’m swapping surnames with another oc I made, that’s still in the works.

Dimension Jump: Rise/Book 1 is on pause for a second, a lot of stuff changed, and I gotta rework the world building.

The dark blue aspects might get changed to a royal blue… and the dark purple may get reverted to her initial purple just because it’s easier on her lineart… plus I like to color her lineart… and it’s just gonna be a hassle when I go to render her

Her clothes are not finalized but that’s the general idea of them. (Not the second one, I forgot to finish her boots)

DPxDC fanfic idea: The Back Roads

Bruce was driving around as his civilian self one late afternoon. The sun was barely setting, though one wouldn't be able to tell with all the smot.

He was planning on surprising his children with a spontaneous pizza party and some good family-friendly competition. He was excited.

Maybe it was because he was checking on the pile of pizza in the back, or maybe he was more tired than usual from his long nights as Batman, but whatever the case was he did not see the boy until he hit him.

Bruce swears the boy appears out of nowhere like a ghost. One moment, there was a long road with nothing but trees and his softy playing radio.

Bruce has always loved the long secluded roads that lead to his Manor. It always gave him peace of mind to enjoy a drive without anything or anyone around. Rarely did he ever encounter another driver out here - not since the Drakes moved out.

That's why someone standing in the middle of the road had come so unexpectedly. Bruce hadn't even noticed him until his headlights saw a brief flash of blue eyes just as it was too late.

The boy slammed against his hood, flying into the windshield and sliding off to the side. There was a terrible gagging sound, likely the boy checking on his blood as slid away to the ground.

Bruce slammed his brakes, sitting frozen behind the steering wheel. For a moment, all he could do was sit there in horror, wondering if it was true. Then reality crashes in, and he pushes the car door open, falling out in hysteria.

There on the ground is a boy that could be fourteen crumbled. A boy with dark black hair and - if the wide eye stare before the hit was any indication - blue eyes. He looks a lot like his sons.

Bruce feels sick.

Desperately, he rings up an ambulance, chocking on tears as he tells the dispatcher what happened. Bruce, meanwhile, does his best to check the boy over with his training.

He slowly turns him over, pressing his fingers on the neck as gentle as possible. There is a cold moment before he feels a aodt flutter against hia finger tips.

A heart beat but one that was slowing by the second.

Bruce tells the dispatcher this, who in turns tells him as soothing as possible that help is on the way, but Bruce knows the boy doesn't have enough time.

With shaking fingers, he presses the Bat Distress signal. His children are only ten minutes away in vehicles that can get to the hospital in thirty minutes. The ambulance will arrive in that same amount of time.

"It's going to be okay" He tells the still boy. "You're going to be okay. Please. Please. Be okay"

Nightwing pulls up then in the Batmobile with Robin in the passage seat. Red Robin, Spoiler and Red Hood are not far behind on thier bikes.

They all stop for a few seconds, unsure what to do, before Nightwing shakes himself out of it. "Mr. Wayne we got it from here"

Bruce is only half aware of Damian taking his hand and moving him away as Tim and Dick get the boy into the Batmobile. They speed away to the hospital.

What a terrible night for Alfred to be out.

Later, the cops speak to Bruce and use the dash cam to confirm that the boy really did appear out of nowhere. He's a meta, they say. Likely one that just got his powers.

Teleportation. Or Invisibility.

They weren't sure, but they would figure it out. They told Bruce he was free to go, and there was no need for Bruce Wayne to know further of the case.

Batman, however, was back there that night. He was outraged to find out the boy had been flagged for his meta genes, and some nurse low on cash knew there was a market for meta children.

She was attempting to move the unconscious youth through false discharge papers when Bruce landed on the hood of the car of her associates. They were quickly dealt with, turned over to the police-the good ones- and Batman had made arrangements for the boy to be taken in by Bruce Wayne himself until he awoke.

While that was happening, the attempts to locate the youth's family yielded results. He wasn't in the system himself, but he did match to a brother that was.

A week later, Danny Fenton opens his eyes from the best nap he's had in years, only to find out he was run over while in a ghost version of hibernation and in a different world.

Oh, and apparently, he is being confused as a twin brother of some guy named Tim Drake.

Hank Green also famously Knows Many Things and has not been quiet about being a big fan of Brennan.

I'm not saying I think Hank built this character specifically so he can try to impress Brennan, but I'm not not saying it.
