Diluc Ragnvindr - "Vibrant Flavors"
🐇.•°•.🐇.•°•.🐇.•°•.🐇.•°•.🐇.•°•.🐇.•°•.🐇.•°•.🐇.
In which a certain winery owner spends a little bit of long overdue quality time with his lover, but after a small mishap causes it to become a lot more sensual than he originally intended it to be. Or; In which Diluc Ragnvindr finds that his favorite sparkling grape juice seems to taste better when licked off your skin rather than drunk from some glass.
Warnings -> Suggestive, foreplay, nipple sucking, a bit of oral fixation, kinda food play (can drinks be used for food play?)
🍇•♡•🍇•♡•🍇•♡•🍇•♡•🍇•♡•🍇•♡•🍇•♡•🍇
"It really has been a while, hasn't it, my love? I missed this— missed you."
Diluc sighs against your lips, his forehead pressed against your own as he holds you close.
Ruby red eyes look lovingly into your own; you can feel the small smile that blooms onto his lips as he huffs softly from his nose. The strong arm around you tightens; the other off to the side, holding a glass of his favorite beverage. He joins your lips with his once again; kissing you soft and sweet as his hand moves from your lower back to your hip.
You take a step back; hand reaching out behind you to feel for the duvet covered mattress of your shared bed. Diluc follows you as you move; lips chasing yours as he refuses to part from you. After being away from you for so long he's become so desperately needy for your touch and he's no longer afraid to show you that now that you both are hidden in the low light of your bedroom.
Finding the bed; you unceremoniously plop yourself on it causing the redhead to stumble and—
SPLASH
—accidentally spill his grape juice onto your chest and the area surrounding that. A shaky involuntary gasp is ripped out of you as you feel the chilled liquid soak into your shirt on contact; the fabric slowly becoming translucent.
"Oh... D‐Dandelion, I'm so sorry. I— ah..."
Diluc frantically apologizes as his eyes fall from your face and onto your soaked chest; his words trailing off as his gaze zeros in on peaks of your quickly hardening buds.
He audibly swallows as his eyes become half lidded; many unholy thoughts that would make even the stone cold nun Rosaria blush flooded his mind. There were so many things that he wanted to do to you at that moment but he reluctantly settled on just one of them.
"Let's... get you cleaned up..."
The vermillion haired mumbles as he leans over you before placing a gentle but hungry kiss on your lips.
You feel one of his large hands begin to slowly unbutton your shirt. Though it seems more like he's fidgeting with the buttons rather than undoing them with just how slow his fingers are moving. He moves his head down to your chest; leaving you unable to figure out what he's doing as his silky crimson lochs obstruct your view. Then suddenly—
"O‐oh! Diluc!"
—a loud mewl was ripped from the back of your throat and your back arches up off if the dampened duvet as a hard suck was delivered to your right nipple, courtesy of your eager husband.
A quiet groan rumbled from the back of his throat; relishing in the cute little moans that you made. Fuck— you were just so enticing; the feeling those perky buds of yours on his toungue drove him absolutely wild. His soft lips sucked strongly; drawing out the sweet juice that was held in the fabric over your now swollen nipple one more time before he detached himself. Leaving a thin trail a saliva behind before it broke when he got a certain distance away.
"Dandelion~—"
Diluc purred, tongue swiping over his bottom lip as he looked deeply into your eyes; his own thickly clouded with lust.
"—I hope you'll bear with me just a little longer. You'll let me indulge myself just this once, won't you?"

(Hi!! Tis Iryth (@/iztaroth) here) (for the numbers ask game) 11
( aquel lugar ) by adolescent's orquestra [ english meaning of the song at the end ! ]
he watches as the tides crash against the rocks, performing a dance of some sorts. water swaying left and right in an idyllic tempo, translucent reflecting the sun's light onto the blue sky. soft brushes of ice crystals sparkling what is above him, gentle breeze setting his flaming strands wild like a fire.
diluc grew up watching the starsnatch cliff's scenery, nonetheless this time was different. apart from the conspicuous effect the passing of time has manifested on his physical body, diluc is not the same person he was a few years ago.
that meant a change, a very big one at that. he learned to love.
he met you in that very place, the cliff. you were looking out at the horizon, your silhouette blended in with the breathtaking landscape as if you were part of nature as well. the ever so slight spark of electricity in the air made his skin ruffled, as if it were covered in small irregular waves and creases. disheveled, a type of spark that inflicted the warning of a reaction onto his pyro vision. when you turned your head to look at him, the fire started calling your name like a prayer and he could see the ignition forming in the tiny smile adorning your face.
"love me." you said, two words was what it took for his tiny heart to overload, and love you he did, albeit inexperienced and naive. he loved you like no other, brushed his lips against yours and watched the overwhelming splash of colors cloud his senses, making him focus on nothing else but one of your hands cupping his cheek and the other holding his. "love me." you said, and he'll never forget the way his heart had molded itself on your chest, making him incapable of living without you, for you had the other half of his soul.
yet "forgive me." is all he could respond with.
ask game !! leave a number in my playlist and i'll shuffle it that many times, i'll write a short fic based on the song it stops on !
the song talks about loving for the first time. it describes the first love as something unforgettable and overwhelming, and how one tends to make mistakes as the consequence of being inexperienced and human. it says that despite all the normal fighting and discussion, love remains the same, that's what prompts the need to say "i'm sorry".

My brightest star
summary : how could Diluc stargaze, when you- the brightest star in his life- lie right beside him
contains : you and diluc are out stargazing when you doze off ; pre-established relationship ; use of nickname ; fluff ; gn!reader, this drabble is written in second person
word count : 350
Moonlight fell on the winery, illuminating it in soft silver. The breeze was calm, and the crystalflies floated around the grapevines. The stars illuminated the night sky with constellations, and Diluc searched for yours.
There was an unspoken promise between the two of you; every summer, when nights no longer were freezing, the both of you would spend all night under the open sky, gazing at the moon and the twinkling stars.
In the vast expanse of darkness, stars lined up to form constellations, and you were always quick to point out his constellation. It was no surprise to him given how keenly you gaze up at the stars at every opportunity.
You were especially smug about it tonight, but he could only roll his eyes at you as a smile grew on his lips.
"I can find yours too," he had said.
But his eyes often were drawn to you instead, like the earth draws in the moon; with how you snuggled close, all cozy by his side, his heart would skip a beat, spreading a bashful warmth across his chest.
It would be impossible for him to find your constellation among the stars, given how his eyes preferred to gaze at you instead; but he tried, and to his untrained eye, it was all a net of twinkling diamonds.
"I can't find it," he mumbled, his eyes once more drifting towards you. Instead of finding a teasing laugh, he sees you fast asleep. A chuckle slips past his lips as he watches you dozing away.
Bringing his hand to your face, he brushed his finger against your cheek, his smile only growing as you scrunch your nose in your sleep.
He was so lucky to have you by his side on this blissful night, you were like a butterfly that the flowers bloom for, the dandelion for which the wind blows. On this perfect night, you were like the warmth of the sun on a winter day, like the rain on a summer night.
Pulling the blanket snugly over you, he brought his lips to your forehead, "sleep well, my dear.”
a/n : I now accept requests !! Feel free to drop an ask if you would like to request a drabble/headcanon !

can i request how diluc, xiao, scara, cyno and tighnari confess to the reader?
❝i love you.❞ + diluc, xiao, wanderer, cyno, tighnari x gn!reader
+. fluff
+. summary ; them confessing to you
+. A/N YES NONNY I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT THANK YOU SO MUCH MWA MWA MWA and I JUST KNOW TIGHNARI ALSO KNOWS VARIOUS LANGUAGE JUST LIKE AL HAITHAM TOO, NOT MANY AS AL HAITHAM BUT U KNOW HE’S A SCHOLAR TOO HE’S GOTA KNOW OTHER LANGUAGES TOO
wanderer
sitting somewhere in vanarana, you didnt know such place existed, though you couldn’t see the children of the forest, you could still feel their presense near. kuni insisted on taking you here. you smiled as kuni bashfully took the flower crown off him, but you kept on placing it in his head. “stop, this is so childish.”
“you look beautiful!” you complimented, cupping his cheeks making him look at you but he avoided eye contact. he sighs, how can such a mortal he calls his friend make him feel like this. though without a heart, he could feel something beating fast in his chest, he doesnt understand.
he clears his throat. if you were to embarass him, he too shall embarass you. confused when he so suddenly grabbed your face closer to him. “i… i’d destroy teyvat for you.” he says with a faint blush on his face. “if you are ever to be taken away from me… i’d gladly be the villain again.” he says softly caressing your face.
you smirked. “is this your way of telling me you like me?” you chuckled letting go of his face, letting him just hold you. “wow, you’re not too dumb to not notice.” he jokes looking at your face. “i’d do anything for you, if you ask me.” he smiles, slowly leaning closer and closer. “kuni…” you whispered as your lips touched his.
“arapacati thinks it’s a happy ending!” says the aranara who’s beside them. “arakavi thinks arapacati should cover arapacati’s eyes.” arakavi says peeking over to the two lovers and then covering it's eyes once again.
cyno
sitting at the tavern along with tighnari, kaveh and al haitham while cyno pours out drinks for kaveh. they both seemed drunk already, and cyno really does seem different while he’s drunk. “you know, you know al haitham?” asks cyno while a hand placed on kaveh’s shoulder. al haitham beside you gives them a side eye.
“of course, he’s my roommate after all.” kaveh chuckles. “oh god, i regret joining. they are so embarassing.” says tighnari who’s already dying of embarassment. “why is he always so close with [name]!? are they together or something?!” cyno slams his fist on the table making you, tighnari, and kaveh startled.
“you know, you should keep your boy in line kaveh! i’m telling you, the next time i see him so close with them again… i… i will gut him!” he says giving the table another slam. “holy shit, cyno can you stop doing that, my ears are sensitive you know!” tighnari complains kicking the general under the table, but cyno’s eyes are glued to you. and you’re a blushing mess too.
“oh there they are. hello [name].” he smiles giving you a wave, al haitham chuckled beside you. “you, green man! get off, they’re mine okay?” says cyno standing up from his seat, swiftly pushing al haitham off. “yn~ i love you so much.” he mumbles clinging onto you. “im so glad i bought this kamera.” al haitham says before snapping a picture to black mail the mahamatra.
diluc
diluc didnt know what to say nor how to react. looking at you smiling at him unapologetically. “how… how the hell are you even smiling right now?” he asks sternly, looking at you with an intense glare making you feel really scared. “look, i’m sorry okay? it’s just… i thought i was of help so i jumped into the scene!” you explained.
“havent i told you to not act so impulsive!? look where that got you!? you almost fucking died!” oh no, diluc is cussing. that’s when you know you messed up real bad, diluc is not one to lose composure easily afterall. “i told you to stay back, protect yourself from harm while i do my damn job. i could’ve lost you!” he says almost in tears, slowly walking over to you.
falling onto his knees in front of you, leaning his head on your knees “‘luc… why do you even… worry so much?” you asked placing a hand on his cheek. he looks at you with his adoring gaze. “i would have thought you caught on by now.” he chuckles, holding your hand that is caressing his cheeks and kisses your palm. “i love you. i always will.”
he held your hand tightly but softly, as if you’d slip away from his grasp the moment he lets go. “i love you, so please? i know your will to help, i adore that. but i don’t wanna lose you.”
tighnari
“wrong.” he chuckles looking at you work on your sumerunian essay. you aren’t from sumeru after all and just moved three months ago and still working on the language of sumeru. gladly tighnari became your friend as soon as you moved in to gandarva ville, and he also knew how to speak your native language.
“huh?! but isnt this how people confess!?” you asked looking at your paper. “your worded it literally, you have to change some words in order to make it look appealing, don’t just short cut it. how do you say my darling you are so beautiful?” he asks, leaning his cheeks onto his palms as he watched you think. a smile painting his face as he watched. “jamil habibi!” you said proudly.
“close but not quite. it’s habibi ant jamilat jidana. you short cut it again.” he flicks your forehead lightly. “hey.” he calls, looking at him with a small pout. “Je vous aime.” he says which means i love you in fontaine. “i think i’ve heard that before. let me get my fontainian dictionary.” you said taking out a huge book out of your bag. “go on, i’ll wait.” he smiled, looking at you fondly.
(i just got these translations from google translate idk how to speak french and arabian pls T-T)
xiao
“i see you collecting trinkets here and there, i didn’t know you’re one to be fond of them, xiao.” zhongli smiles as he looks at the yaksha from behind. it is surely a surprise that the yaksha has come to liyue harbor without any occasion. “re- mr. zhongli… i actually came by to see you…” he said hesitantly. “would you wanna talk it over some tea? it helps with calming down, helps you express yourself more too.” he smiles.
now there the two are, inside wangsheng funeral parlor. “i believe people would call this as love, xiao.” zhongli nods at he looks at xiao who seemed conflicted ad confused. “am… am i even capable of having such feelings? am i deserving of it?” he asks playing with the small butterfly shaped crystal on his hand. “of course.” answed zhongli.
“even the evilest of creatures has one they love. don’t be harsh on yourself, child. everyone is deserving of love.” zhongli puts a hand on his shoulder. “i suggest you face it. love is a beautiful thing, it’s special. don’t waste it.”
and now here he sits outside your home, underthe shade of your tree while he ate almond tofu. he admires you while you looked through the stylish box of trinkets he had given you. “why don’t you just put it in a simple box, it’s much more easier that way.” you chuckle as you put the small compass necklace inside the jewelry box.
“it’s because it’s special.” you smiled taking out another one, this time, a hair pin that seemed to be from inazuma. “how so, they’re just things i found from the wilderness. i thought… you’d like them because i see you collect things like that.” he looks away before munching in the last bite of his almond tofu. “it’s special because it’s from you, xiao.”
archons, that look on your face. it makes his heart beat fast and his cheeks go warm. “love is bothersome.” he grumbles as he looks away. “but then i guess, if it’s you … i don’t mind.”
RAAAAGGGGHHHG OMG I JUST MADE A BOUQUET OF PAPER FLOWERS IM SO NERVOUS I GOT DARED TO GIVE IT TO THE PERSON I LIKE T-T

What if yandere Diluc's darling was to divorce him? (I really need this scenario, please make it happen😭)
Ty for reading my request
diluc’s answer is: no. he won’t sign divorce papers. he won’t allow you to leave him. he needs you. diluc will act his best for you, buying you anything and everything you want, taking time off work for you, anything you want.
if his desperate attempts don’t work, he’ll have to resort to a dirty tactics. one day, you’d wake up locked in your shared bedroom. windows bolted shut, door locked from the inside out.
diluc would come back hours later to you losing it, he’d try his best to sit you down and explain to you.
“my love. this is for your own good. i will not allow you to leave what we have.” his tone was cold and almost annoyed.
if you keep defying, he’ll keep you handcuffed to the bed frame. diluc immediately reports you as missing. he knows you won’t be allowed to leave the house for months on end.
before, you had some freedoms. now, you had nothing, you had the bedroom with blacked out windows and a bathroom so you can still bathe.
diluc’s affections get cold and short. he feels betrayed you’d dare to leave him. you’ll have to spend your time alone thinking. you needed to find a way to get your freedom back.
masterlist! | requests are open. | reblogs and comments are appreciated.

Diluc Ragnvindr x Reader- Replaced (hurt/comfort??)
You quickly found your abilities became obsolete when Lumine arrived in Mondstadt. Feeling hopeless, you run away, only to be caught by a certain red haired wine tycoon.
(A/n: Ohhhhh my god i actually finished this thing. i started it while i was having a breakdown and finished it yesterday. im actually rlly proud of it lol)
I tried to keep this one as gn as possible and i think i did good. reader has a vision and is in the Knights, id say theyre around as high in the ranks as amber if that makes sense lol.
---------------------------------------------------------
You had worked hard for years to rise to your position in the Knights of Favonius. Although you weren't as high up in the ranks as people like Kaeya or Jean, you pulled your weight and always got the job done. You wielded your weapon with confidence and always did your best to help protect the people of Mondstadt. This had taken you some time, but your efforts had clearly paid off. You were a highly respected and valued member of the Knights of Favonius.
So how come Lumine had barely been in Mondstadt for two weeks and had already risen to your level in the ranks?
No, she wasn't just at your level of hard earned respect- she had surpassed it. Everyone was talking about her. She just showed up in Mondstadt and became a knight (even though it was honorary), a process that everyone else had to work at for years before successfully completing and earning their titles.
You watched as your fellow knights and citizens of the City of Freedom grew to quickly adore her and completely forget about all of the effort you had put in.
You weren't an idiot. You had never been on her level. You weren't all powerful, and you weren't a perfect fighter. You certainly had no reason to be famous. But Lumine was the only person anyone in the Knights was talking about, praising her for deeds like defeating abyss mages and wiping out hilichurl camps, all things you had done many times in the past and hadn't received as much praise as her for accomplishing.
Then, she truly began to replace you. Jean gave tasks normally assigned to you to her, telling you to go home early for the day or go help out with busywork. Usually on the rare occasion you had nothing to do for the day, you would accompany Kaeya on missions, but of course he was busy with her as well.
And soon, so was Diluc.
You and Diluc had been friends for several years at that point. Although he was normally serious and straightforward, this part of him would crack a little around you. In the last year or two, however, you had found yourself falling for the man.
How could you not? He was dedicated to protecting Mondstadt. He was disciplined and successful, despite all of the hardship he had endured in his late teens with his father and brother. He was caring. And not to mention absolutely gorgeous. But you had always thought he was a bit out of your league, and that he deserved someone on his level.
Like Lumine.
You saw how close they had gotten, how his identity as the Darknight Hero was revealed to her so quickly, while it had taken years for him to tell you about that part of him- and he had only told you about it because you had caught him putting on his mask as he left the tavern one night. You thought you had come to accept that there was no way he'd love you back, but seeing them get so close stirred feelings within you you thought you had gotten rid of.
For a while, you did nothing, trying to be happy for the girl working so hard to protect the city. As every day passed of going into work and being promptly told you weren't needed, you began to feel worse and worse, growing more and more hopeless with every mention of her name.
All of your insecurities came to a climax during the final fight against Stormterror. When you realized something was going on, you rushed to the Knights of Favonius's headquarters for a briefing. When you asked Jean how you could help, clutching your weapon, declaring you could and would help fight Dvalin, she said you could just stay in Mondstadt and help make sure nothing happened to the citizens.
This was the final straw. A part of you felt selfish, knowing how important it was that the city was protected by capable fighters, but part of you was hurt. Normally you would have gone along to fight a massive threat, but this time you were simply left to hold down the fort.
And when it was all over, when Stormterror was defeated and the city was safe, Lumine was hailed as a hero. You weren't surprised at that point, she had done everything recently, of course she would defeat one of the Four Winds.
You had enough. The night after the battle, as the city was filled with a mixture of celebration and festivity at the quelled threat, and solemn rebuilding of broken homes and businesses, you took the opportunity to leave unnoticed. You wrote a note saying you were quitting the knights and not coming back into the city for a while and left it on Jean's desk. You packed up some of your belongings into a bag- just some clothes, rations, and first aid supplies- and left the city.
You spent a while wandering the continent, venturing into Liyue, seeing pieces of nature you hadn't expected to see so soon in your life and fighting enemies tougher than ones you had fought before. After a while, you decided to wander closer to Mondstadt for a little bit, never going close to the city itself and avoiding the knights whenever you heard they would be near. You continued to fulfill your oath of protecting people, defeating enemy after enemy that threatened innocents. You fought regisvines, mercenaries and treasure hoarders, and even a hypostasis and emerged victorious from each fight, albeit with some relatively minor injuries. Perhaps some sad part of you still wanted to prove yourself. You grew exponentially during this time, and you didn't even know how long you had been gone- was it one month? Two? It didn't matter. It seemed doubtful that anyone had even noticed you were gone.
You were wandering through the woods a little ways away from Springvale one night when you heard two children crying out for help. Running to the source of the sound, you discovered two children being targeted by two abyss mages and some hilichurls. You saw one of the abyss mages charging a blast of fire to shoot at the kids, and without thinking, you placed yourself in front of the children, taking most of the blast. You charged at the monsters, quickly taking out the hilichurls with a few hits and moving on to the mages. As you told the children to run back into Springvale, a figure appeared behind you. A male voice that sounded fairly familiar called out to you.
"Those are abyss mages! They're much more dangerous than hilichurls! You stay with the kids!"
You didn't even turn to face the figure as you responded.
"I know what they are, I've beat way worse! I'll handle this! I'm more than capable of beating a few abyss mages!" You shouted, grunting as you defeated the first mage. A few minutes later you slayed the other one as well. You turned and rushed over to the kids, checking them for any injuries. When you looked up at the mysterious figure, you were horrified to realize you knew who it was.
It was the Darknight Hero, also known as Diluc Ragnvindr.
"Y/N! Where have you been, everyone's been worried about you! Didn't you realize disappearing like that would have everyone worried sick?!"
You felt a pang of guilt at his words. Maybe people really did miss you… but if they truly cared, they wouldn't have replaced you. They wouldn't have thrown you away, you thought.
"Listen, Dilu- I mean, Darknight Hero. I wasn't needed anymore, so I left. It doesn't matter. And anyways, that's not our priority right now. We should make sure these kids get back into Springvale safely."
He grunted. "Alright. I'll go with you into Springvale, but once we drop off these two we need to have a serious discussion about some things."
You and Diluc walked the kids back into Springvale, telling their parents about what had happened and making sure they got into their homes safely. As you two walked out of the town, it almost felt like the air itself was suffocating you. You considered just running away, but that probably wouldn't help much. He could catch up with you.
What did he think about you now? He probably hated you for running away. He had probably completely replaced you with Lumine by now. They were probably dating.
After what felt like an eternity of walking through the woods, you and Diluc made it to the Windrise tree. As you gazed up at the tree, Diluc broke the silence.
"So where have you been all this time?"
"I walked to Liyue. I travelled through there for a while but wanted to stop near home for a little bit. I plan on seeing the rest of Liyue, going through the Chasm, and then going to Sumeru later this month."
"Why exactly did you have to leave so suddenly? You never told me you were planning to visit Liyue. I would've said goodbye to you before you left."
As he said that, he turned his gaze towards the sky. He looked… regretful?
"I wasn't planning on it."
"So you just randomly decided to travel to another nation one night?"
"Not exactly."
He suddenly turned towards you and looked straight into your eyes.
"So why did you leave, y/n? Did someone tell you to leave? Were you threatened? What aren't you telling me?!?"
As he spoke, he started to sound more frenzied. Although seeing his tough facade fade sometimes was nice to watch, this was scary. You started to feel guilty for leaving without telling him.
"Diluc, nobody threatened me. I left because Mondstadt and the Knights don't need me. They found someone better and I got tired of feeling useless every day." You shifted and looked towards the ground. "I've done more while traveling this last month or two than I have in so long. Since Lumine got here I haven't had an opportunity to use my weapon, but I've gotten to fight so many more things and help so many more people than I did back in Mondstadt during the Stormterror crisis. And I doubt anyone truly missed me. If they said they did, they probably just said it out of courtesy. I'm sure they'll all be fine, they have Lumine now." As you mentioned her name, you felt spite run through your veins. "She can clearly do so much more than I ever could."
You lifted your head to look at Diluc. He had a look of shock on his face, and didn't say anything for a second. Then he finally spoke.
"So you're saying you left because you were jealous of the Traveler?"
Your tone changed to something angrier, sharper.
"Yeah, I guess you could say that."
Diluc sighed. "I'm sorry that they all made you feel that way. But rest assured, nobody meant to replace you. I'm sure they didn't realize what they were doing. You could never be replaced, y/n-"
"How could you POSSIBLY say that I could never be replaced when you replaced me too!"
You didn't even realize you were shouting at Diluc.
"What are you talking about, y/n? I could never replace you! You are a wonderful person, why would I ever want someone else in my life?"
"You did replace me, Diluc! Just like everyone else did! You completely stopped visiting me when she got here! Whenever I tried to find you, you were with her! You abandoned me for her!"
At this point, you were starting to cry as you yelled at him. "And I can't even be angry at her because you deserve someone like her! You deserve someone so much better than me! She's perfect- she's beautiful, and so strong, and has accomplished so much, and everyone loves her, and look at me! I'm never going to compare to her! It's no wonder you're in love with her…"
Although you said the last part of your rant under your breath, he still heard what you said.
"Y/n. Please. Look at me."
You looked at him.
"I am afraid I must apologize to you. I am so, so sorry for how I've treated you recently, and I'm so sorry it took all this for me to realize my mistakes. I promise you, I never meant to replace you with Lumine. The truth is, I've been busy recently with her because we've been investigating the Abyss Order. The Abyss Order manipulated Dvalin into attacking the city, and I was busy trying to get to the bottom of the situation without worrying the citizens of Mondstadt. I should've tried to make time for you, and I know sorry probably isn't enough, but I'm afraid it's all I have to give at this moment."
Suddenly, it all made sense. You should've figured he'd be trying to help with the Stormterror threat. And of course she would be able to help with that. You felt some of the jealousy fade away, but some of it still clung on to your heart, a weight waiting to be lifted.
"And another thing."
He looked away from you, glancing at the ground.
"Your notion that I am in love with Lumine is incorrect. Although I now consider her a good friend, the feelings I hold towards her and you are different. You mean much more to me than she ever has. The entire time we were out chasing after the Abyss, you were all I could think about, and when you disappeared I was terrified for you. So please trust me when I say she is not the one I love, but you are."
You were in disbelief. Did Diluc really just say he felt the same way towards you?
"Wait, Diluc. Did you just- are you saying that you have feelings for me?"
Although his head was turned away from you, you could see a blush spread across his face.
"Yes, that…is what I'm trying to say. I've grown to love you in the time we've spent together. I tried to ignore it for the sake of our friendship but as more and more time has passed it has become increasingly difficult to ignore. If this damages our relationship so be it. You deserve to know the truth."
Stunned, your mind went blank of a reply for a moment. You took a deep breath before replying.
"Diluc, I… I love you too. I'm so, so sorry I left without telling you, and I'm so sorry I was jealous of you and Lumine, and I'm so sorry for making you worry about me, and I love you so much, I- I-"
At this point you were crying and couldn't form a proper sentence. You looked down, hiding your head in your hands, too embarrassed to look at Diluc. He wrapped his arms around you and put one hand on the back of your head, pulling you into a warm embrace. Although he was generally standoffish, you had to admit he was a great hugger. You sobbed in his arms for a while, letting out months worth of stress. You kept babbling little "I'm sorrys" and other incoherent apologies, but he kept his arms around you the whole time, comforting you and assuring you that it was okay and he loved you. After a while you stopped crying, and at that point the sun was beginning to rise. You and Diluc stood under the great Windrise Tree and watched the sun slowly rise among the cloudscape.
"If you want to keep traveling I won't stop you, but I think you should stop by the Knight's headquarters and tell Jean and Kaeya that you're okay. They've all been worried about you."
"Yeah, you're right, I probably should. But I wanna stay with you for now…" you said as you leaned into him once again. You suddenly let out a loud yawn, realizing how tired you were from a night of fighting and crying. Diluc also noticed your sleepiness.
"Do you want to go back to the winery with me to get some sleep?"
"Yes. That would be absolutely wonderful. I'm exhausted."
"Then let's go."
You and Diluc walked back to the Dawn Winery in the light of the early morning sun, holding hands and talking about everything that had happened while you were apart. When you got back to the winery, you slept through much of the day in your lover's arms, and spent the rest of it making up for lost time, telling stories of your adventures and eating food Adelinde brought you.
It felt like a burden had been lifted off of you, and you could finally enjoy days of peace with Diluc without standing in the shadow of another person.
Bonus:
The next day, Diluc took you to the Knights of Favonius's headquarters. Everyone was surprised, but pleased at your return. Diluc explained why you had left to your superiors, and they rushed to apologize to you.
It turned out that right after you left for Liyue, so did Lumine as she sought the Geo Archon. And with two of their best workers gone, the Knights were barely coping with rebuilding the city from Stormterror's damages.
You could tell they were truly remorseful for how they had treated you the last few months, with even the normally aloof Kaeya looking grim as the situation was explained to him.
It also turned out that you weren't the only one fed up with their actions after Lumine's arrival. Many other knights felt like they had been cast aside after the Traveler's arrival. You were just the only one to leave.
You weren't sure if you could forgive them just yet, and you knew you wanted to travel some more before officially returning to the knights.
But now you knew how truly important you were to your friends in the Knights, and you had a loving boyfriend to boot. Overall, things were finally starting to look up for you, and you knew that no matter how far you traveled from your homeland, you would have people waiting for you when you got home.
Finding the one you loved had truly led to the ending you deserved.

— 𝑴𝒀 𝑳𝑼𝑺𝑻𝑭𝑼𝑳 𝑯𝑼𝑺𝑩𝑨𝑵𝑫 !4!
It has been a month since Donna had miscarried the baby. The tension in the house was over the roof, but what irritated Diluc further is that you always seemed to be in great spirits.
Their dark circles, weight loss, depressive states — none of that phased you. In fact, there was one time when the redheaded man was getting ready to collect some flowers in the Whispering Woods, and you watched him leave the house whilst standing in the hallway and waving him a good-bye with that shit-eating smirk that never left your face.
There was something evil in your eyes ever since he came back. You were not the same person that he knew once — you felt like a demon. A witch.
Every time he left somewhere, he was terrified that you would do something to Donna. Your actions felt like a slow build-up to a gradual event, and he couldn’t help but worry himself into sickness. Diluc always kept any form of a weapon on himself, and even his lover started sleeping with a knife under her pillow just in case you’ll come back to haunt her once more.
Planning your murder was not an easy task. There were multiple things that they had found in their way.
First, it was your absolute authority over the house and Mondstat. The attack couldn’t happen anywhere where you could have a potential escape route or a protector. You had to either be caught by a surprise, or be forced into attacking first to initiate the whole ordeal.
Second, your servant Marie. She wasn’t always visible, but her spirit was everywhere where you went. Diluc the other day had also caught a sight of a Hydro Vision embedded at the back of the maid’s long black skirt. He wasn’t sure if she specialized in the healing ability or fighting, but as the time went on he did realize one thing for certain — Marie wasn’t a mere servant, she was your personal bodyguard. Knowing you, you wouldn’t have someone responsible for your safety without proper insurance.
Third, your abilities. Even after all these weeks of living under the same roof as you, there was still not much known about you. He had attempted to investigate and find out if there were any potential trump cards that they still weren’t aware of, but he came up to nothing. In fact, the more he dug, the more their murder attempt was feeling less and less possible.
“Donna, there’s only one way that this can be done.” The redheaded man whispered, and his words made the woman tremble and grow pale.
“Absolutely not.” She instantly replied, but instead of a living gaze that she grew to love — eyes as cold as ice stared back at her. Her lover was fed up with everything. He just wanted it all to be over.
“I am giving you a month. If you don’t come up with a new idea — I will get this done the way I see fit.” He warned her, absolutely refusing to back down on his decision.
He couldn’t let you win.
He couldn’t let you win.
He. Couldn’t. Let. You. Win.
Never.
He would rather die.
“But Diluc—“ Donna begged from the bottom of her heart, but her plea was silenced once the man rose a palm before her face, tactically telling her to shut up. Brunette’s heart ached. She felt heavy, as if she was about to crash through the ground and fall down straight into hell itself.
She was losing Diluc.
To you.
There was a knock on the door, and soon no other but Marie had walked through the door. Just a few weeks ago, she would ask for permission before entering. However, the more your terror and power grew, the less Donna and Diluc were respected or cared for by the servants of the house. They all admired you on another level, and saw the two “guests” as nothing more than nuisances.
“Master Y/N is expecting both of you for breakfast.” The maid proclaimed after a small bow of her head. Well, she might have had no respect for their privacy, but she sure was always a well-mannered woman.
“Tell that witch to stop playing fucking house already.” Diluc snarled back like an angered animal. His fists were already clenched just at the thought of you. Marie lightly frowned at the harshness of the words, but didn’t let it show.
“For today’s breakfast we have prepared a freshly made croissant bake topped with cinnamon custard and wild berries.” The maid continued on as if the other two were not even in the room, “You’re expected to be downstairs in 5 minutes, so that the food does not get cold. Do not make Master Y/N wait for you.”
And just as Diluc was about to say further insults into her back, the maid had left the room.
-
“Good morning, you two.” You said the moment the parasites had entered the dining room. You watched Marie pour you another cup of tea. Today it was buckwheat tea with some honey as a sweetener, your personal favorite. The maid’s graceful hands clothed with black velvet gloves carefully moved the ceramic teapot and gently placed it back down. It didn’t even make a sound against the wood of the table once it was put down, “I pray that you had a good night’s sleep.”
“Are you having fun doing all of this?” Diluc snarled at you, and you rose a curious brow. Marie’s expression grew darker, but you put your hand up to stop her.
“Let him speak.” You said to your maid, and although she hesitated, she straightened up her back once again and put her hands behind her back.
“Diluc, stop.” Donna tugged at her lover’s sleeve, but the man instantly pulled away from her.
You watched in amusement as his resentment towards you was now pouring out and poisoning everything around that he loved. A woman that he treasured, carried around in his arms, and claimed to marry in the future — was now humiliated and ridiculed by no other but himself.
“No, Donna, let me tell this bitch exactly what I think.” Diluc said to Donna and began quickly approaching you. You didn’t even flinch, but continued to drink your tea as if nothing was happening, “Tell me, is this.. Fun?” He said almost straight in your face, “Is this.. A twisted desire of yours? Revenge? A fucking joke?!” You watched in disgust as the droplets of saliva from his mouth landed over your dishes.
You picked up a teaspoon and lightly clicked it against the plate. Marie instantly was on your opposite side picking up the dishes off the table. Both Diluc and Donna seemed confused by what was happening, but didn’t say a word.
You stood up from your chair, and stared long and deep into your husband’s eyes. You were trying to find at least small bits of evidence that the man you once loved was still there. However, as you searched — you couldn’t find even the smallest bits. You wondered, what would the Diluc from the past think about this? How would he react to what had happened between both of you? Would he allow himself to live knowing the shame he had brought upon his own family name?
No, that Diluc would choose death over being such a disgusting creature that was in front of you.
“You are just a dead man, fuming with rage and grief. There’s a deep hole in your heart that nothing can fill, and this malice that’s spilling out of you will never end unless you’ll rot away six feet under. You never got over your father’s death, and you make it everyone else’s problem. Well, you know what, Diluc? You’re not the only one who lost something important that day you left.” You could see his vision glowing, as if it wanted to spit fire at you right there and then, “Grow the fuck up already.” You said in a cold tone that made the whole room fall silent. Diluc blinked once, twice, and took a step back. Satisfied, you turned around to where Marie stood, “I will have my breakfast in my office.”
“Of course, Master Y/N.” The maid bowed and then held up the door open for you to leave.
“Ah, and one more thing.” You turned around, but this time you faced the brunette woman rather than the hot-headed idiot, “Donna, darling, you’re only 19 years old. Don’t waste away your years on this disappointment of a man like I did. He’ll turn on you the same way he did on me, then will cheat on you with a younger woman or man, and you’ll be left alone to pick up his shit after him.” You sighed, “I wasn’t always the way I am today. I know that, that feeling that’s been growing in me back then, is now growing in you. Listen to your gut, and make the right decision.” And with that, you finally left the room leaving both of them in a stupor.
-
“Oh, for fucks sake!” Diluc roared like an animal and smashed his fist against the wall. Donna stood behind him, slightly hesitant to move. Ever since she listened to your speech, she couldn’t seem to get her head out of clouded thoughts. You laid the seeds of your plans — to grow them apart as much as you could.
Rightfully so.
“Please, just.. Calm down..”
And it was working.
“Calm down? Calm down?! CALM DOWN?!” The man pulled at his own hair. He really did seem to be slowly losing his mind, “Are you fucking serious with me right now? They are humiliating me!” He let out a small laugh of disbelief, but Donna was dead serious.
“Why don’t you go on a walk? Cool down. Maybe let out some steam fighting Hilichurls. Go do something else except just.. Being here.” She breathed out a suffocated breath. It felt like she had been holding in these words ever since yesterday — and now she was finally able to let them out, “They’re getting into your head, Diluc.”
“They’re getting into MY head? Donna, you’re not making any sense here.” However, the man refused to understand the message behind her words, “Just a few weeks ago you came to me crying your fucking eyes out because you thought that Y/N caused you to have a miscarriage, and now what? You’re telling me to.. Let go? To.. Calm down?! TO. COOL. FUCKING. DOWN?” His voice was increasing in loudness with each word one by one, and Donna could barely hold herself from wincing away.
When had he become this?
Was he always like this?
What was happening to him?
Where did her Diluc go?
“Yes.” She nodded, “I am.”
The man stared at her for one second, two, three.. Time seemed to slow down while he studied her expression as if she was an animal at the zoo. They weren’t talking, but none dared to break the eye contact. One was trying to dominate the other in the disagreement by using pure intimidation. Donna wasn’t sure how successful her attempt was, but suddenly, her lover took quick steps right towards her and roughly grabbed her by the chin.
The brunette froze in place; feeling like a helpless bunny before a hungry wolf. He squeezed her flesh tight to the point that it burned. Her hiss of pain didn’t stop him, but only seemed to make the grip stronger. She would be shocked if it wouldn’t bruise later.
“Wipe that look off your fucking face.”
It felt like he could see you looking at him through Donna’s eyes.
Diluc finally let go, and almost made his lover fall down to the ground. The man quickly walked past, grabbed his coat, and headed through the hallway to the right. Soon, the loud bang that shook the whole mansion had echoed through the walls. He left. Thank god, he left. Relief washed over Donna’s psyche; her heartbeat was starting to slow down and she began to take deep breaths in and out.
She had no clue what to do anymore.
-
You sat in front of a chess board in your office. You carefully observed the crafted pieces before you, and hummed in thought. Eventually, you picked up the Queen and King off the board and showed them up to Marie who stood by the exit door.
“I am the King.” You announced, “And you — are the Queen. You do whatever I tell you to, and you protect me at the cost of your life. However, you are more than just a Queen — you can jump through pieces, you can go multiple times in a row, and you can engulf as many in your way as I desire.” Marie smiled, but remained silent, “And I am more than just a King, however, what I share in common with the King is that if I fall — the game will be over not just for me, but for everyone.”
“Marie?” You called out to your servant, who looked up at you with adoration. She already knew what you were going to ask, “If I told you to die for me, would you?”
“Of course, Master Y/N.”
You laughed in her face.
“If I told you to let me die. Would you?”
This time, with more hesitation, “Y-yes, Master Y/N.”
“Is that so? How adorable.” You couldn’t stop yourself from chuckling. This feeling of power over others was just as addictive as a drug. The people of this house held you in such high regard, that they would even go against Barbados himself for your sake.
Suddenly, your expression went cold, “Then you are no Queen.. Just another pawn.” Your gaze shifted once more onto the wooden figures held in your hands, “Remember this — anything and anyone can be replaced, but the King.”
You dropped the chess pieces in your palms straight onto the chess board. The pieces clacked, and flew all across the table.
Chaos..
Discord..
Malice..
Death.
-
Weeks were passing by, and Donna was still out of options. Now, with a further sober mind, she wasn’t sure what she was meant to propose to Diluc in order to change his mind. If only they could just run away, but they were held like hostages to their own fates — prisoners of your home. Until this day, Diluc still called it “his” mansion, but anyone who wasn’t a complete cretin knew the truth. You’ve long planted seeds, strengthen roots, and bloomed in this house. They were strangers here, no matter how hard one would look.
“Donna, did you come up with a solution?” Diluc creeped up behind her like a ghost; she didn’t even hear his steps nor sensed his presence.
“H-honey.. Can we just.. Run away from here? Maybe we’ll build a cabin in the woods where nobody will find us.. And live there.. Forever?” The woman grabbed at his shirt and pressed herself closer to his chest. She could hear his heartbeat, but it sounded cold. Distant. Like an echo.
Diluc gently took Donna by her shoulders, and pushed her away to look deep into her eyes. Those eyes were the ones of a dead man who had learned how to walk and talk, but it was easy to tell that he had long abandoned dreaming and living.
She had lost him.
This was it.
“I won’t rest until that bitch is fucking dead.”
A chill ran through Donna’s spine. She froze, and didn’t even care to chase after him as he walked off into the distance. She shouldn’t have said anything to him that day when she lost her child, she gave him an idea — that turned into an obsession. He had become a sick man. No, he had always been a sick man, it was just..
It was just..
That he loved Donna before.
But he didn’t anymore.
His love for Donna, was replaced with hatred for you, and it seemed like Diluc’s heart only had place for one person.
It was her time to let go.
And so, the brunette slowly turned herself around to go back to the guest bedroom to pack away her things and leave this cursed mansion. She had enough money to hire an adventurer to escort her to Liyue. There was no more life left for her in Mondstat, not after what she had done. Not after what Diluc was about to do.
Perhaps.. They liked flowers in Liyue as well.
-
You knew that he was approaching, and fast. His footsteps echoed across the hallway long before he even reached your door. You and Marie exchanged a look; already expecting what was to come. After all, the walls were quite thin within the mansion.
When Diluc flew into the room, he had resembled a beast far more than a human. There was fire in his eyes — perhaps this was the first time that he had truly looked alive since the day that he came back to you. A lost hound had returned to its owner to consume it alive. You’ve ran out of things that could saturate his hollowing hunger.
“In Fontaine, you have the right to fight for your honor with a duel.” He said while staring down at you. You sat at your work desk on a massive red velvet chair whilst playing with a pen between your fingers. Your movements stopped, and you looked up at him with a smirk.
“Is that so?” You chuckled; feeling amused, “I am saddened to disappoint you, but you do so with a dualist assigned by the Chief of Justice.”
“Either you fight me or everyone in this mansion dies.” The red-headed man threatened you, at which you couldn’t contain your laughter anymore.
“They can all die.” You shrugged, “Dying for me is an honor, Diluc.” The man rolled his eyes at your response, but didn’t give up.
“Either you fight me — or I will set the whole of Mondstat on fire.” At first, you wanted to instantly reply back — ‘You wouldn’t do that’ — but with another second of staring into his eyes you knew for sure that he had truly lost his mind. He had nothing left to stay for, “I will murder citizens, women, children.. I will cause chaos, until I am stopped. However, you are able to prevent the loss of those lives by agreeing with me right here and right now to fight for honor.” He took one step after another, and eventually placed both of his palms against the table and leaned in closer towards you, “I wouldn’t be surprised if I am not the only one in the need of honor cleansing.”
You couldn’t care less about the humans’ lives, however, if the word got out that Diluc would not have committed crimes have you agreed to a duel, but you haven’t, it would greatly affect your reputation. Damaging to your reputation, would damage your status, damaging status, would damage the business, damaging the business would damage sales, and then slowly and eventually..
You will also be left with nothing.
“A duel it is.” You stood up and straightened out your hand. With hesitance, Diluc shook it, “One of us will not see the dawn, do you agree for such a risk?”
“You don’t have to ask me twice, Y/N.”
-
Dueling is about recovering your honor, it was not an act of killing.
There were many important rules to a proper duel. First of all, such were not allowed in the country of Freedom and winds. Thus, it had to happen in the country of Geo and contracts, where both you and Diluc had signed the appropriate documentations which were overlooked by Lady Ningguang herself. Since both you and Diluc were considered to be individuals of high status, it applied even further complications to the whole ordeal.
You ensured that the vision from Diluc was confiscated, and that he was not allowed to use weapons he was further familiar with than you. So, the claymores and the swords were off the weapon choice. Both of you had signed for the weapon to be a loaded pistol. Your husband requested for them to not come from the production of your company, thus, also disabling any potential advantages from your side.
The day had come. Strangely enough, you did not feel nervous. You felt oddly excited.
Standing back-to-back with Diluc made you realize that it had been years since you were able to feel his warmth against your skin. It was a paralyzing feeling. This was probably the last time that you would feel it, but the idea of that brought you strange comfort.
You looked around, before you stood an audience of people, friends, and even some distant families. You could see in the center of the seating lady Ningguang together with her two most trusted servants by each of her sides. You could also see the glimpse of Master Jean, the Traveler, and even Paimon. You weren’t sure if the sights which were about to transpire were worth witnessing. There were also guards standing in each corner of the podium, ready to intervene under lady Ningguang’s orders if she thought that the duel had gotten too far.
Well, it was definitely going to get too far.
Dueling is about recovering your honor, it was not an act of killing. However, you and Diluc were gathered here today to kill one another. One of you can exist only with the death of the other. There was no loophole or another solution to this.
The loaded gun rested heavy in your palm, but you didn’t shake nor sweat. You had long abandoned fear or attachment to living.
There was a loud voice, you didn’t know what they said, but you knew what had to be done. 20 steps, and fire. 20 steps, and fire. 20 steps, and fire.
In 20 steps, your life was about to change forever.
20..
19..
Your heart was starting to squeeze, but the adrenaline rush kept you going forward. You stood proud and confident. Your chest was puffed out, and your movement never lost its grace.
18..
17..
The face of young Diluc flashed before your eyes. He used to be so happy, so full of life, and filled with passion. If only that boy had known he would grow up into such a monster.
17..
16..
You looked down at your gloves. You put on the best pair that you had. White silk with a black beautiful design stitched by hand. It also had some pearls situated at the corners of the black lines. This pair had come all the way from Inazuma, and last time you had worn them was on your wedding day.
16..
15..
The weather today was perfect. It was sunny, and it was easy to stay warm even in lighter clothes. However, the fresh breeze of a wind made you feel refreshed just how you would in winter. The sun of Mondstat, and the wind from Dragonspine, all the way in Liyue. The Archons were truly having a laugh at you.
15..
14..
You noticed that Donna was also present in the audience. She had been crying for a long time. There was a handkerchief in her palm, her eyes were swollen and puffy, her pupils surrounded by wine-red. Poor girl, you thought, but you felt no empathy. Karma would catch up with her as well, the same way how karma was catching up with you today.
14..
13..
You were trying to recall what you had for breakfast today, and couldn’t remember. Ever since you started preparing for your death, the days and nights have blended into one. You were truly in the moment — in the present — today.
13..
12..
For some reason, you wondered whether Diluc remembered the day of your birthday. Did he remember your anniversary? Did he remember the day when your parents had passed away?
12..
11..
You saw Kaeya sitting in the audience as well. He gave you a weak smile when he caught your glimpse towards him, and you couldn’t help but shake your head in irony of it all.
11..
10..
You noticed that Marrie was not present, just how she had promised. After all, you entrusted the last task to her. You knew she’d get it done. You knew that she wouldn’t get involved.
She was free.
10..
9..
You wondered what the life would have been like, if instead of running away, Diluc actually would have come to you for comfort. What if he had processed his grief, and the two of you would have moved on? Maybe you would have children by now. Perhaps, also dogs, cats and horses.
Maybe you would have been happy.
9..
8..
You saw a shadow of your parents standing right before you. Their faces were covered with a faint light glow. This made you wonder, you couldn’t quite recall how their faces had looked like. Or the sound of their voices. No, you couldn’t even remember what it felt like to have your father smile at you or what was it like for your mother to tell you bedtime stories. Those were luxuries of the past.
The dead had come to visit, as if already decided upon the fate that was about to be bestowed. There was no way around this, was there?
8..
7..
You could hear Diluc’s angry panting all the way from where he was standing. He was fuming. He was raging. He was burning from inside out from hatred and agony. He had decided that getting rid of you would put everything to a stop. That he would stop feeling like a monster was eating him alive. That he would be finally put out of his misery.
Oh, how wrong could one be.
7..
6..
You thought back to when Diluc had proposed to you for the first time. You were still just kids, and both of you had no clue that it was already decided that both of you will get married for diplomatic reasons. He had braided a stem alongside another stem of small, delicate flowers into a ring and a flower crown. He had gifted those to you, with a pure smile and a faint peach blush hovering his cheeks. You were in love.
6..
5..
You thought back to when Diluc had got his vision. At first, you were a bit jealous. After all, everyone wanted to have a vision. And knowing that both of your parents had one, however, you didn’t, always made you feel a bit petty inside. You could recall begging him to use his pyro abilities, because you wanted to see the magic, oh so badly! He asked you, which animal did you want him to make. Without any hesitation you replied, a bird!
5..
4..
You thought back to when the detectives that you have hired to investigate your husband’s disappearance first told you that they thought Diluc had passed away. Your whole world came crushing down. You felt sick right then and there. You were dizzy for weeks, the doctor’s couldn’t help you. There was one professor from Sumeru who decided to take your case and heal you from a “broken heart”.
In reality, it was a congestive heart failure. The causes were unknown. Your medications kept you stable for some time, but there wasn’t much time left.
4..
3..
You thought.. You thought.. You thought..
Almost as if time had come to a stop.
2..
1. . .
It was very sunny that day. You were a bit hungry, but felt too nervous to eat in the morning. After all, it was going to be the day that your life would change once and for all — you were going to be with your soulmate forever.
"Do you take Y/N as your lawful partner, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?"
The priest had asked Diluc the question, but he didn’t even need any time to think. The clear and loud “yes” had slipped past his lips even before the other could finish his sentence. The old and wise Priest smiled at the lovebirds, and the two of you sealed yourselves in a kiss — a promise.
Until death do us part.

Diluc: A Helping Hand
Context: you recently arrived in Mondstadt, around the same time that Dvalin was attacking the city. You had no choice but to enter the city and try to find shelter. You were almost swept away by the wind when a certain dark figure saves you.
A/n: yay! I wrote another story!
=================================
You really could not have come to Mondstadt at a worse time. Dvalin was still raging in the nation of wind and freedom—and you happened to get swept into the mess.
The only thing you had on you were the PJs you wore to bed, since it was at night when the gods decided to trap you in the world of Teyvat. You woke up on one of the jagged hills overlooking the city—its windmills and barbatos statue in the distance.
You had nowhere else to go, even though you could see the dark clouds looming over the city—trees rustling violently as leaves were strewn in the air.
As you approached the main gate, the clouds began to douse you in heavy rain. The unrelenting pellets quickly soaked you, the cold seeping into your bones.
Nobody was present in the streets—god knows that would be crazy—but nobody seemed willing to open their doors for you either.
The effort to stumble door to door, fighting off the relentless cold, to no success seemed useless. You were quickly losing heart with each unreceieved knock on the doors.
‘I only just got here and I’m already gonna die.’
Your heart was pounding harder as more debris were swept up in the wind.
‘Somebody please just open their door!’
You made a mad dash to yet another house, but you only got so far as the middle of the streets before an extra powerful gust of wind pushed through the streets. The wind was so powerful that you struggled to stand in one place, your hands flaying for purchase on the ground, your nails trying to dig into the cracks of the streets as your body was pushed farther and farther back.
Your mind was racing as you could feel your body getting lifted from the ground. You screamed as hard you could, your life flashing before your eyes. ‘I’m actually going to die!’
You thought for sure this is how you meet your demise, the unlucky fool who had to knowingly put themself in this situation. Of course nobody is going to be here to help you. Nobody is crazy enough to be out here!
But before you were swept away, your body fully lifting for just a second, a dark figure rushed towards you. The force of the figure was able to push you towards the other end of the street near Angels share.
“Quickly! Get inside!” The dark figure shouted over the violent noise of rain and the howls of wind. The figure opened the door to the tavern and pushed you inside, coming in right behind you. You both struggled to shut the door against the outside forces, but eventually you heard the click and you fell to the floor. You were exhausted.
You curled up on the wooden floor. Water dripped from your hair and clothes as it created a puddle underneath you.
Your teeth were chattering so bad, you could barely get the words out. “I feel sorry for the owner of this tavern.”
The figure in all black, who you now guess is a man, regards you in silence before walking behind the bar counter, retrieving a small towel for you. “I don’t think the owner would mind. Besides, you should focus more on not freezing to death.”
You thank the man and began drying your face and your arms. Your hair and clothes on the other hand. . .
“What were you thinking going outside in this weather?” He turned to start a fireplace in the corner of the tavern. You followed along, leaving a trail of small puddles across the tavern floor.
“I wouldn’t choose to go outside if I already had a place to stay. I came into this city to look for exactly that.” You sat near the fireplace, greedily soaking up as much of the warmth as you could. Your poor fingers were numb.
“You’re a traveller?” The man sat down on one of the seats, seemingly getting dryer by the minute. It’s then that you see the glowing vision tucked behind the black cloak. ‘How unfair.’
“Something like that.”
“On second thought, maybe not. You have nothing on you but the pajamas you’re wearing.”
“My stuff got swept away in the wind.”
He mulled over your words, clearing not buying it. Your eyes squint in anticipation for him to pry more, but it doesn’t come. Instead, he comes and sits down next to you.
“You don’t need to be alarmed, I simply want to help dry you quicker. I have a vision that might help, you see.” He pulls out the pyro vision, its colour the same vibrancy as the locks peaking out from his hood.
“I noticed earlier.”
“I see. May I?”
You looked at him. To the fireplace. To your still sopping wet self, and back to his already dry self. “Thank you. I’d appreciate it.” You turned your back to him so that he could run his fingers through your hair, gentle yet firm heat emanating from his hands.
He worked in silence, and to keep yourself distracted you opted to keep using the small damp towel to dry any skin that you see. It didn’t help much with the clothes. You could still hear the raging whirlwind that was going on outside the tavern, and you looked towards the window to see branches and even roof tiles being swept up. You sighed. ‘What a-‘
“A hopeless situation, don’t you agree?”
You looked behind you at the man who spoke, a mask covering his face. His identity.
“It is, which makes me wonder why you were out there as well. Are you some kind of hero?”
His eyes, which were also a crimson hue, looked at you for a second before he scoffed. “A hero? What a ridiculous notion.”
“So a vigilante then?”
“. . . More along those lines, I suppose.”
“But why risk yourself out there? Did you really think there’d be anybody out there for you to save?”
“There was you, wasn’t there?”
“One person.”
“One person that could’ve lost their life but fortunately did not. It wasn’t like the Knights of Favonious was going to come out in this weather.” He said that last bit with distaste.
“So you’re basically calling yourself crazy?”
“I could say the same for you.”
You mulled those words over in your head. You suppose he’s right, though you don’t want to say that to his face. Useless, considering your expression alone said it all for you.
A few more minutes pass by and not only is your hair dry, but your pajamas are relatively the same as well. Your teeth no longer chatter, and your extremities aren’t numb either. All is somewhat good. But you are both still stuck and it’s been hours since the last time you’ve eaten anything. The man seemed to notice since he got up once again to behind the counter, taking out shakers and stirrers and various bottles. “Care for a drink?”
“Should you really be using up the tavern owner’s products?” You walked tentatively over, sitting yourself down on one of the tall stools.
“He won’t mind.” He pulls out yet another drink.
“You seem so certain, yet you can’t possibly know that for sure.” You’re curious for his response but he instead asks a question. “What’s your drink of choice?”
‘It’s not food, but I supposed I’ll indulge.’
“Preferably something non-alcoholic. . . Though, I’m not sure if this tavern would have anything like that.”
“They do, actually.” He puts some bottles away and instead grabs a few different ones from the shelf. It’s so seamless, it’s like he knows these bottles’ locations by heart.
“Do you come here often? You’re so sure of everything that comes with this tavern.”
His hands stalled, only for a smidge. Barely noticeable had you not been captivated by his assured movements. “You could say that. Minty or fruity?”
“Fruity.”
“Then might I suggest Angels Share’s grape juice. You’re sure to love its exceptional quality.” He showed you the bottle, an image of two angels sharing a drink on the cover. You hesitated. ‘I really don’t like grape juice though. . . But maybe this time it’ll be different?’ You’re too hungry to ask for a different option and his gaze makes you wonder if he’s waiting on you to say yes?
“. . . I suppose I will try.”
He hummed once and dipped the bottle into the expectant cup, gracefully filling it with the dark magenta liquid. He pushed it towards you. He also filled another cup with the same liquid, wasting no time to bring it to his lips to taste. You had no choice but to hold your own cup and bring it closer, inspecting it. You expect the worst. You take the tiniest sip and. . .
You’re pleasantly surprised. “Hey this actually tastes good! It tastes nothing like medicine!” You down the whole cup, relishing in the drink. You might actually like grape juice now!
You hear a surprised huff coming from the man. But he doesn’t sound disgusted. “Medicine? No wonder you seemed so hesitant to try it.” He took another sip from his still full cup. “I’m glad you liked it so much.”
You looked back at your empty cup and couldn’t help but feel sheepish. ‘He’s definitely teasing me about that.’ Thankfully he changed the subject before you could drown in your own embarrassment. Lest he have to fish you out and dry you off again.
“What’s your name?”
“Sorry? Oh, it’s y/n.”
“That name doesn’t sound like it’s from here. Where are you from exactly?”
You couldn’t look him in the eyes, his perceptive eyes staring at your hesitant conscience. “You’re right. I come from a land far away, in a place much too obscure for the average person to know.”
“That’s interesting. I remember you saying you were a traveller trying to find a place to stay? Archons knows this is the wrong place and time to look for one.” Now you really can’t look him in the eyes.
“Haha, right. . . About that. . .”
A pause. You could almost feel his eyebrow going up in expectancy. “I’m listening. . . ?”
You sighed before giving him the run down. “Yeah, I probably won’t be able to find one here. I don’t have any mora and nobody has been willing to open their doors for me. Granted, it was probably due to the raging storm outside, but I get the feeling I won’t have better luck even after the storm settles.” Which it has been, as you can hear and see outside the window. The dragon seemed to be relenting a little now.
The man in front of you regarded you in silence, sometimes looking elsewhere for a while. Ultimately he says this: “you could stay at the Dawn Winery.”
You looked up at him in surprise. “The Dawn Winery? How do you know the owner wouldn’t mind me staying there?”
“I have somewhat of a connection with the owner. He won’t mind.”
“Oddly confident of you, Mr—”
‘Oh, I never asked for his name.’
“It’s probably for the best that I don’t disclose my identity to you.”
“Right, because you’re a vigilante.”
“I— yes, precisely that.”
“So after this storm settles, I should just go over there and ask the owner if I could stay over at their place?” You were skeptical. But the man doesn’t seem phased in the slightest.
“In essence, yes. I could take you there. I assure you, if you were to mention to whoever answers the door that I recommended the place, they will let you in.”
“Your confidence knows no bounds.”

Soulmates
Characters: Zhongli, Diluc Warnings: Fluff, angst, descriptions of burn injuries/treatment Word Count: 1292
Zhongli - (Matching Soulmarks)
Laying in bed, you snuggled deep under the covers, consciousness drifting closer as you felt warmth crawl over you bare back. As you woke up, you became aware of the roughened fingertip tracing nonsense lines over the dips and curves of your muscles.
You groaned pleasantly as a gentle fire trailed after the fingertips, causing you to shiver. “Stop it.” You mumbled sleepily. “Let me go back to sleep.”
A deep chuckle reverberated through the chest behind you, arms moving to wrap around your waist and pull you close, lips pressing to the bottom of your nape. “I apologize for waking you, my dear.”
“No you're not.” You scoff playfully, rolling over to face the one behind you.
You were greeted with sharp, amber eyes that glowed like Cor Lapis roving over your form. Long, brown hair, tipped a shining gold, was spread across shoulders and pillows like a halo, strung messily around thin, branched antlers. Broad arms kept you close and thin lips were pulled into a handsome smile that crickled those keen eyes.
“No.” He simply said, leaning down to brush a kiss against your forehead.
While he did so, your own fingers found themselves tracing. Across the plains of his chest, your fingers followed the lines of a beautiful, lithe, dragon of gold and brown scales with a wild, yet regal, mane, intertwined with a Pixiu. Curved antlers and small, feathery wings complemented its tough body and strong, deadly teeth.
Wrapped in ribbons of gold and red, red gauze and mora surrounding them, they danced with each other, and instinctively you knew that yours and your husband’s beast forms were gazing at each other with eyes of love.
It was such a shame that your mark was on your back while Zhongli’s got to be on his chest, where he could gaze at it so easily.
“You’re ridiculous.” You murmured, kissing the head of the dragon and watching with softened eyes as it glowed with subtle warmth, a sign of acceptance of affection.
Zhongli only rumbled with agreement, nuzzling the top of your head and playfully biting one of your thicker antlers. You huffed, trying to shake him off, but when he stubbornly stayed on, you flopped into his chest, closing your eyes once more.
“The sunlight is only beginning to rise. Let me sleep for just a bit longer?”
Zhongli let go of your antler, looking down at you with incredulousness mixed with mirth. “How can you be a Pixiu when you act so much like a house cat?”
“What have I to do all day but laze around? Let me sleep.” You chuckle softly.
“That is by your own choice.”
“And it is yours that Liyue should no longer require help from its reigning god or his spouse, therefore, I have not much to do.”
Zhongli sighed, but even then you felt, even heard, the smile in his voice. “Then you may stay in bed, and I will go make us breakfast.”
You hummed happily. “What a wonderful husband you are.”
"Do not tease me so early in the morning." Zhongli said, sliding from under the silk covers of your bed.
You gasp. "I was not! I was being honest!"
Zhongli only smiled and with a brush of his palm against your back, and yours along his chest, he left to go prepare your morning meal as you burrowed into a nest of blankets and early morning sun rays.
Diluc - (Matching Scars)
You sat on the edge of the tub, your hands rhythmically kneading the shampoo into his fiery, curly hair. Your pants were curled up to your knees, your legs to either side of him as he sat between your knees, his back to you.
“Arms out.” You instructed gently. Diluc obediently held his arms, which had been resting on the sides of the tub out further as you grabbed the small bucket of water, dumping it over his head.
You squeezed out the rest of the shampoo before lathering his hair with a sweet smelling conditioner. Diluc’s head was pointed down, and with him facing away from you, you couldn’t gauge his expression. You paused, your fingers tangled in his silky strands.
“You're rather quiet today.” You commented casually. “Are you alright?”
Diluc was quiet for a moment, so still you would have mistaken him for being asleep. “I hate this.” He grumbled.
You knew what he was talking about, of course. The red, flaking scars that ravaged his fingers all the way to his elbows. The scars that yours matched, in visual alone.
When they first appeared on your arms, you panicked. Scars had shown up on you before, and the first one you ever got was a momentous occasion, but never to the degree that the violent red had crawled up your skin, though they didn’t hurt. You thought something severe had happened, you thought more damage would come, you thought your soulmate - one you hadn’t even had the pleasure of meeting yet - would soon perish.
But scars kept coming. Along your legs and arms and stomach and in a strange way, it assured you. It at least let you know that they were still alive.
You never bothered to hide your scars, not seeing them as something shameful or disgusting. And because you had no need to care for them, you wore whatever you’d like.
That was how you stumbled into the Angel’s Share on a sweltering afternoon, scars uncovered in a loose short sleeved shirt. The wide eyed look on the poor bartender had left you deeply confused and soon anxious when his breathing picked up.
Everything spiraled from there.
And now you sat at the edge of the tub, sighing with sorrow. “I know you hate it.”
Gently coaxing Diluc from the tub, you dried him off and quickly dressed him in his soft clothes to spare him the humiliation he always felt despite doing this every night since you had married. His eyes were downcast as you led him from the bathroom to the bedroom, pushing his shoulders so he sat on the bed.
After collecting what you needed, you held your hands out for his arms. After a moment of silent deliberation, he placed his hands in yours. Taking some moisturizer, you slowly massaged it into the burns, taking care not to hurt him.
He hated it. Hated being coddled. Hated being unable to take care of himself. Hated being damaged. Hated that his damage infected you. It was a sight that curled in his heart every time he saw it.
As you slid on his pressure garments, he scowled. “I hate it.”
“I know Diluc. I know you do.” You smiled and it melted him, filled him with warmth that only appeared with you.
You always knew what to say, how to help him. You didn’t give faux sweet words of hollow encouragement and you didn’t scold him for feeling down, telling him to just buck up and think positive.. You were just there. A comfort. A rock. You knew how his mood dipped and raised. You knew that right now, when he’s like this, he just wants you to tell him you understand.
He was brought from his thoughts when he felt a sweet kiss to his reddened cheek, still flushed from the warm bath. He looked at you, slowly getting sucked in your soft eyes as his own dropped from exhaustion.
“Let’s go to bed, hm?” You whispered as you guided him under the covers, sliding him beside and nuzzling into his neck. “Maybe you’ll feel better in the morning.”
Diluc finally allowed the tenseness in his shoulders to drop. Curled around you, cared for, not coddled, healing, not damaged, he sighed and soon fell asleep.

Diluc Ragnvindr - "Quill and Parchment"
🐇.•°•.🐇.•°•.🐇.•°•.🐇.•°•.🐇.•°•.🐇.•°•.🐇.•°•.🐇.
In which a certain winery owner can't seem to put his love for you into speakable words so he tries his hand at putting them down on paper. Or; In which Diluc Ragnvindr writes his unspoken feelings of love into a letter to you, his fiancée, after three years of being unable to put them into words.
🍷•♡•🍷•♡•🍷•♡•🍷•♡•🍷•♡•🍷•♡•🍷•♡•🍷
To my dearest fiancée,
Truly, I can hardly put into words just how much I adore you. But alas, the words of affirmation I wish to shower you with never seem to unlodge themselves from the back of my throat when I'm in your presence. I don't believe anyone has ever made me feel quite so frazzled and tongue-tied as you have, my love.
Whenever you turn to me with that radiant smile of yours, my heart hammers in my chest like that of echoing thunder lingering in the clouds during a storm. How you scrunch up your nose when you are deep in thought pinkens my cheeks without fail, and I can't forget the crinkling of your eyes whenever you burst into laughter and how it brings an inexplicable warmth to my chest.
You make me feel so many things all at once that I simply can't put it into words. I have no choice but to resort to penning you this letter in hopes that I can express to you how I feel, my sweet.
You may think it strange when I confess that you make me feel so timid at times. I don't think you understand just how strong of an effect your very presence has on me. You make me feel like a love-sick teenage boy; I simply lose myself in the unending love I have for you.
Before I met you, I believed that I would never find someone to share my life with. I thought that I would grow old all by my lonesome and spend the last few days of my life at the vineyard in silence, reminiscing about what could have been.
So, I want to thank you, sincerely and deeply from within the depths of my heart and soul, for choosing to love a man like myself out of all of the other choices that you could have had in Teyvat.
My darling, I love you, so much that it nearly brings me to my knees when I have a mere passing thought of you. Even if I can't put it in more eloquent terms, I hope you understand that I would disassemble the Celestia for you to show you my love if I had the power, but I am just a man.
This letter is all I can give you in exchange for being able to treasure someone as wonderful as yourself. Though, soon enough, I shall think of something much more fitting for you, my dear.
Your adoring fiancée,
Diluc Ragnvindr

𝕆𝕟𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕒 𝕂𝕚𝕟𝕕
Diluc as a S/O (Boyfriend or Husband)
Requests are Open! Feel free to send some in :)
Diluc, despite not showing his emotions very often, does often mumble his affection and love to you. He likes to compliment you, the smile on your face, or the proud look in your eyes when he does making him feel happy himself. He wraps his arms around you from behind and buries his face into your neck, mumbling compliments or saying he loves you.
Diluc shows his love for you by offering to do things for you. Whether it's an errand you have that day or something you decided to do -- such as reaching for an ingredient for baking/cooking, or even some paint for a painting, etc. Being able to help you reassures him that he is a good lover and isn't ignoring you/not giving you enough attention.
Going off of the previous one, Diluc does worry if he's giving you enough attention and affection. Hes busy with the Dinery and the Tavern, as well as the annoying Kaeya that just won't leave him alone. He has a lot going on and he knows that, but he does make time for you whenever he can. So he does need some reassuring words here and there that he is doing enough and not seemingly 'ignoring' you.
Diluc has some trouble sleeping, so seeing him up and out of bed looking at the stars from the window or even just sitting up and reading some random book is common. He has been getting more sleep with the help of you, holding you close and taking in your scent. It calms him down and reminds him he's not alone. Especially when he gets his nightmares -- although night terrors would be a better word for it. Being able to hold you close just helps him sleep, that's really all. Cuddles at night are a must.
Diluc likes to do things for you, that's obvious, so on most days he cooks breakfast with the help of a few servants. Although most of the time it's just him. He likes the way you groggily wake up and hug him from behind -- asking about what he's making. He just likes morning you, fully awake or not, you still hug him from behind and ask him what he's doing/cooking. On days when you're still sleeping when he finishes cooking, he comes up and treats you with breakfast in bed -- with a side of Diluc doing your hair and feeding you if you ask.
Dilucs kisses are soft and sweet and full of love. He doesn't want or like to be rough with you, it makes him feel like a bad s/o. He thinks a partner should be protective and soft with their lover, not rough. So he treats you like porcelain, not wanting to accidentally hurt you no matter what you look like or how strong you are. Hes just a softie, and likes the soft sweet kisses he gives.
Diluc tends to wrap an arm around you/hold onto you wherever the two of you are. Sometimes his arms are around your waist, some other times he's just holding onto your hand. He doesn't really care what other people think, sure he's got his insecurities but with you, he's got none. He doesn't have an image he keeps up cause he simply doesn't care. Yes, the teasings from Kaeya and a few other people are annoying, but he can deal with them.
Diluc prefers giving back hugs. He doesnt really know what it is but he likes just wrapping his arms around you from behind and pulling you close. He likes to bury his face into your neck or shoulder and just stand there. He will gently rock back and forth sometimes, keeping his form moving. He has a hard time staying still for a long time, so he does have to move in some way -- purposely or not.
Going off of the previous one, Diluc has a hard time standing or sitting still. He always has to be doing something. Whether it's cleaning a dirty glass or even just tapping his foot on the ground. He struggles to stay still, he can do it for a few minutes, but not all the time. Sometimes if you're close enough, hell mess with your fingers, hands, or even clothes. Just keeping his hands busy.
My brain is fried from school so this is all I got right now :,) Feel free to request <3

PROLOGUE — are you seriously doing this over text ?!
warnings: scaramouche pov, break-up scene, kazuha x scaramouche, depictions of a panic attack, self hatred, insecurities, being referred to as 'unlovable', breaking objects, depictions of anxiety, melt down(?), written portion below.
spotify playlist: scaramouche playlist (listen for full effect)
Scaramouche stared at his phone, blankly, waiting—no, praying for a response, turning his phone on and off, only to be met with a blank screen. The panic had settled in awhile ago, making home in his anxious mind, yet now a feeling of dread washed over him.
He was currently hunched over, on the floor, with each moment that passed, his senses heightened, suddenly the air felt too heavy to breath in, his lungs felt small, the silence in his room that he often favored was now too overbearing, the dead of the night made his anxiety worse—his insecurities rouse up to the surface, for a second his mind gave him the peace of silence, the freedom, the deception of calmth—yet within moments, memories replayed themselves in his head.
His previous doubts, failures, dreadful moments of paranoia, crept to the surface, and the previous insecurities that drowned him, so much so that it led to this very moment in time, had submerged him.
For a second, he heard the sound of a notification—for a brief moment, the world surrounding him slowed down, and he could finally breathe, only to be met with some random delivery update . . In a blank fit of rage, he threw his phone across the room, trying to distance himself as much as he could from the wretched device.
You know, sometimes he wished he was normal, and could just handle things like a normal fucking person. And just handle rejection and failure, but he wasn't normal . . he will never be normal.
He curled into himself, giving his body a break, it felt like a boulder had crashed over his entire being. Scaramouche tried to breathe only to choke in the process, only then did he realize he was hyperventilating, tears falling from his useless eye sockets, he carelessly rubbed the tears away, only for more to come out.
It felt like the dam, held together by glue and sticks, had finally broke, and so did all those stupid walls he had made. He wasn't an emotional person, emotions are pathetic but he had buried these feelings of insecurities for so long, that there was only so long until he'd break.
To be fair, he knew his actions would catch up to him, he knew his flaws made him unlovable, yet he hoped, he had moment of hope that maybe, just maybe, he could still be loved trough all his scars, but those scars made him who he was, and who he was, was an unlovable freak.
Scaramouche took a shaky breath, his hand grasped the locket placed so carefully around his neck, and he tugged, pulled, until the thin chain ripped, and he threw it, as far as he could, yet everywhere he looked there was traces of him. . . and no matter how many things he broke, no matter how many things he threw away . . he would never fucking escape the reminders, that he lost something that made him feel whole, and that he was truly a freak of nature.
Scaramouche woke up, somehow he had fallen asleep in the middle of the floor, his eyes swollen, bloodshot, he could really use some coffee right now . . or alcohol . . anything that could briefly erase this mess of emotions, he got up off the floor, inspecting the damage in his bedroom, and some part of him was grateful that his roommate was away for the week.
"where's my fucking phone?", he muttered to no one in particular, his voice came out raspy, and only then did he realize how dry his throat was . . he should really drink some water. . and eat something while he's at it, since he didn't bother eating the take-out he ordered last night.
Scaramouche lifted up his phone, the screen now cracked, the damage a reflection of his outburst from last night, he broke the screen protector a couple days ago too . . he tried turning on the wretched device, it was brand new and he did not look forward to fixing the damage.
'why isn't it fucking turning on?!?!' he wondered, about to throw it again, for good measure . . . Great, something else good he lost last night.
Scaramouche looked around the room again, his shoulders slumped, he couldn't find the locket Kazuha gave him, it disappeared into thin air, lost . . he felt like crying again, his eyes watering as the emotions that plagued him last night slowly rose up to the surface once more.
Yet all he could do, this time, was tiredly letting it take over, letting the world fade as he allowed himself to drown in the sea of his own consequences.
Kazuha is the one of the two or three people Scaramouche 'really' opened up too, and that resulted in Kazuha making a lot of excuses for Scaramouche's emotional outbursts.
Scaramouche would often let his insecurities take over, and question Kazuha, it wasn't something that was too bad in the beginning, but as Scaramouche got closer to Kazuha, and their relationship grew more long-term, it definitely got to an obsessive point.
Kazuha is aware that breaking up over the fucking text was really stupid, but he really didn't think he could handle doing it in person, he also knows he should've communicated more.
THIS ISN'T ABOUT HIM !! — After a rough breakup with your long-term partner and highschool sweetheart Diluc, you met Kazuha, you're current boyfriend. The two of you bonded over your past relationships and chose to heal together. However, things start going array as individuals from your past, come back to meddle with your newfound peace.

WORD COUNT 1269
[💬] LOVE, AIKA uhm another fic inspired by pride and prejudice from me<3 this is a small fic I made back then and it's been in my drafts for about a month now? so here it is! I hope u enjoy~
The bright sun was only starting to rise, and the cold and gentle breeze from the night before blew dandelions away.
Why were you even awake in the break of dawn? That was the question you asked yourself.
But there was only one answer, you were up all night thinking about him…
Diluc Ragnvindr, the master of dawn winery, the most eligible bachelor, The uncrowned king of Mondstadt himself. The man who has captured your heart just from a single glance.
Meanwhile, you were just an ordinary citizen. You worked at Floral Whisper together with Flora and Donna.
With Donna’s never-ending rants about Diluc — who you have feelings for — you find your heart clenching whenever she does so.
How could someone like him, a noble of high status, fall for you? Nothing less but a mere commoner.
As you shook those thoughts away, you find yourself gazing at the beautiful terrain of Mondstadt. The luscious green grass covers kilometers of land. The streams of water rippled from the smallest breeze of wind. Mondstadt itself truly is a piece of art.
This was supposed to be a night walk to clear your thoughts and help you fall asleep, yet you were so engrossed in your thoughts that you felt as if the clocks stopped and you were in your own world.
You cherished the stillness of the night, no noise whatsoever, unlike how rowdy it can get during daylight.
But the faint rustle of footsteps broke you away from your thoughts, thinking for the worst you freeze in your place.
You close your eyes, hoping that atleast they could give you a quick and easy death.
But to your surprise a touch on your shoulder had you opening your eyes.
Whoever touched you had warm hands, they were so gentle, as if scared they could break you like a porcelain doll.
“Hey, it’s just me…” The person greeted you, the voice soft and very recognizable.
You turn around to see him, the same man that occupied your thoughts, leaving you with sleepless nights.
“Sorry, I thought it was someone.” You apologize for the action earlier, really you couldn’t blame yourself. Although there were patrolling knights, there are still hunters and monsters.
Diluc on the other hand was curious, why were you here? So early in the morning? So to satisfy his curiosity, he asked; “What are you doing here, when the sun hasn’t even risen yet?”
Taken aback by his question, you kept silent for a while. You just can’t tell him ‘Oh I came here because I couldn’t stop thinking of you’. So you thought of a quick excuse;
“I couldn’t sleep, so I decided to go on a walk…” It wasn’t really a lie, I mean, you were unable to sleep.
He stared at you suspiciously, as if questioning your answer, he always knew, but he kept quiet, understanding that whatever really was the reason you just didn’t want to share.
That’s why you fell for him, he knew you to the point that you didn’t even need to say anything but he already knew, he could read you so easily as if you were a children’s bedtime story.
Coupled with those behaviors of his, you just couldn’t help but fall for him in general. Everything about him was just so, loveable. You couldn’t help yourself but fall for him more and more as you spent time together.
You got to meet him when he was still a young child together with his brother, kaeya. Your father was Mr. Crepus’ bartender at Angels Share back in their days.
You were with him when he was still smiling so genuinely, with no care of the world.
You were with him when his father died and he broke any contact he had with his brother.
You were with him until he stopped talking to you, pushing you away.
Only a couple of years ago, he finally came to his senses, apologizing for his actions and asking if he could still rebuild that friendship you both once had.
“[Name]!” He called your name, shaking your shoulders, eyes held worry in them. “Are you okay? You spaced out again…” He asked.
“I am, sorry for worrying you.” You give him a soft smile to assure him. But Diluc couldn’t help but sigh, worried for the person he loves so dearly.
He loved you so much, he would fight Celestia and the Abyss for you just to keep you safe. But he was a coward, scared that once you find out his feelings for you, you would both grow apart again.
But he doesn’t know, that you love him, so dearly. You were both in love with each other. It was painfully obvious to the people around you, especially Kaeya.
You both stay in silence for some more time, just gazing at the rising sun. You looked so ethereal in Diluc’s eyes that he couldn’t help but ask himself, ‘Do I really deserve such an angel?’
Although he wanted to stay with you, he still had work to take care of. He turned to leave you alone, sensing you wanted more time gazing at the landscape before you. “[Name], I am going to head out now.”
Before he could even move, soft fingers grabbed the sleeves of his coat, clinging onto them as if begging him to stay.
You were shocked, your body moved and clung to him.
“[Name]...?” He hesitantly asked, he too was taken aback by your bold moves.
Lowering your head, you looked into his eyes, finally taking that risk.
The nerves got to you, stopping you from uttering a word ‘Fuck, I’m just stalling him’ you bow your head down, staring at the grass and fiddling with your hands.
Sensing your nerves, he just stayed there with you, silently gazing into your head.
“[Name], can I… no, may I tell you something?” He spoke up after a while. To his question, you merely nod your head as a yes.
He let out a deep breath before proceeding; “I would like to tell you…” he started.
Raising your head to look at him, you noticed the tips of his ears burning red, ‘He’s flustered…?’ you thought.
“You… have bewitched me, body and soul, and I…’ He stopped for a little before continuing;
“And I love, I love, I love you… And I wish from this day forth never to be parted from you” He finally confesses, gazing at you with the softest eyes that hold so much love in them.
Shocked… After all this time, he also loved you? After all those sleepless nights of thinking if he loved anyone…
Who he held so dear in his heart… was you…?
You couldn’t control the rosy tint that was dancing along your cheeks.
Approaching him, you took hold of his hand and rested your cheek on it… “Well, it would be a lie if I said I hold no feelings for you, ‘Luc..”
When he heard those words leave your mouth, a prominent red tint spread across his cheeks.
He brought you closer to him, faces only inches away from one another.
You closed your eyes and leaned into him, as he captured the softness of your lips with his. You felt butterflies flutter around your stomach, you were sure he felt the same sensation.
In a bystander's eyes, it looked as if you were angels sent by Lord Barbatos himself with the sun rising behind you both, illuminating your figures and giving them a shining glow.
But to you, you were content, here, just having him already felt like heaven.

Overworked (Genshin NSFW)
Pairing: Diluc Ragnvindr x GN!Reader
Warnings: Blowjob, hair pulling, public sex, slight exhibitionism, facefucking
Word count: 610
A/N: I really wanna start writing genshin stories but I'm afraid. I don't know a lot of the popular characters.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Diluc was no stranger to overworking himself but his beloved knew how to help him relax. Y/N was tucked up under Diluc's desk where they'd be out of sight, bobbing their head as they eagerly sucked their boyfriend off. To the eyes of those working in the winery, Diluc looked to be simply doing paperwork, but his free hand had a hard grip on Y/N's hair, guiding their head at the pace he liked. If his face was a little red, the people around him just thought the heat was getting to him.
He was even being silent so that he wouldn't attract too much close attention to himself. Y/N didn't much like this so they swirled their tongue around his cock, making sure to tease the most sensitive areas. He swore under this breath and tugged at their hair harshly. Though that was a mistake as their muffled moan from the rough treatment sent pleasurable vibrations up his twitching cock.
Diluc's toes curled inside his boots as he tried to conceal a groan. Though one of the maids noticed his strange behavior and paused in front of his desk. He glared at her, hoping she'd stop being worried and just continue on her tasks.
"Mr. Ragnvindr, are you alright?" She asked her boss cautiously.
Y/N chose that moment to deepthroat Diluc's cock, causing the redhead to suppress his yelp. He did this by pretending to clear his throat.
"I'm fine," he gruffly reassured her. "My wrist just hurts a bit from all the paperwork I have to do. You can go finish whatever you were doing."
"I can rub it for you if you want," she offered, before he glared at her again.
"Just go," he huffed. If it had been anyone else, he probably would have been a little nicer. But he had seen how she looked at him, and knew she had some interest in him. Him or his money, he wasn't sure but he did know one thing for sure at least. The only person there was for him was Y/N. He didn't care about anyone else in that way.
The girl swallowed her pride and hurried away, just in time for Diluc to grab Y/N's hair and started bucking his hips. Thankfully, no one else was around him, and he was so close to the edge so he decided Y/N had teased him enough. He groaned into his gloved fist as he spilled down their throat. His hips bucked lazily with the aftershocks before he finally settled into his seat properly and let them go.
His beloved made sure his cock was cleaned up before tucking him back into his pants and smiling up at them, "Did you enjoy that, dear?" Though they already knew the answer. They just liked embarrassing him.
Diluc's cheeks warmed as he flushed, "Sure. I just don't know why you wanted to do this in such a crowded area."
"The thrill." That's all Y/N said before they made sure no one arpund before standing up. "Besides I felt how much you twitched when that girl walked over. I wonder if you would have cum earlier had she noticed me." They leaned over and playfully poked their lover's cheek. "One day, you'll probably get a chance to show her who you really belong to~"
Diluc's lips worked up into a smirk, "You do know you're going to get punished for this later, right?"
"Oh yes. In fact I'm rather looking forward to it."
Diluc huffed out a laugh, "Bratty little thing, aren't you? But of course that's what I love most about you."
