the strong yet gentle wind made his locks dance, brush against his nose and go up in the air ever so softly. the light sound of nature serving as a lullaby to you both laying on the grass, trees covering you from the sun, hands shyly brushing against each other.

at some point you turned your head to him, you'd be rambling about cloud shapes for too long and barely getting an agreeing sound out of him so you just assumed he must have fallen asleep. albeit, he was looking at you instead of up there at the sky he knew was filled with pretender stars. and he must've of thought you wouldn't notice for he let himself wear the softest look you've ever seen him have, there was even a glimpse of a tiny smile that held a heavy amount of unspoken feelings, so overwhelming filled with appreciation it made your cheeks vermilion.

you took a deep breath before containing it in, your fingers twitched, and his eyebrow raise was the cherry on top to make your heart run faster than a cheetah ever could. "am i not allowed to look at you?" he whispered under his breath, hoping to any god that you wouldn't tease him for his red ears after being caught stupidly looking at you. he wouldn't know what to do with himself.

"not like that, no." you replied weakly, as if all your defenses disappeared with just his presence.

"what do you mean "not like that"? i'm looking at you normally." he replied, softly scoffing while pretending to turn his face back at the sky, but after a short second of silence he returned his face to you who was still looking at him deadpan.

he chuckled and pushed your face away with his hand so you would stop staring, "you look so dumb, stop." / "i'd say the same about you just a second ago." / "oh, shut it."

not a literal one, but albedo didn't have a better adjective to describe the strange phenomenon of his heart stopping everytime you came by.

killing was the way your smile seemed to be as bright as the sun but much warmer than what it's light could give in dragonspine; your voice, soothing mellifluous string of a melody that resonated deep in his brain; your eyes, two big stars creating a supernova of emotions that obliterated every coherent thought he would have. everything, absolutely everything about you was killing him, so he played indifference.

no, none of those aspects of you made him feel some type of way. he was a professional researcher skilled in the alchemy field and you definitely had been a –very– pretty distraction, but a distraction nonetheless. he couldn't admit he was utterly smitten with the way you carried himself. you were bad, and so cruel for making him feel this way.

so absolutely cruel he shouldn't feel any kind of remorse for accidentally hurting you, yet he did. he didn't want any tears falling out your eyes in such a beautiful day, actually, he didn't want to make you cry in any other day for that matter. but how would he explain that your presence was clouding his brain so much it unlocked a part of his heart he never thought he would have, the romantic meaning of a heart that people used to describe feelings.

he desperately tried to express it with words, audible and legible ones, both in which everything that could come out as a result would be "abstract: by examination of the effects a love confession can affect the psychological well-being of an individual-" but that didn't sound as genuine as he felt it right in the flesh. so he kissed them onto you, hoping you would catch the meaning of an impressionistic, swift and somewhat awkward touch of lips.

and if that wasn't enough the first time, he would try again.

honestly, it’s a tie between my teen dr and my marauders and my hunger games dr

They are very similar, considering I’m the same age and they’re both for healing my inner child and getting the teenage years I wanted with a friend group I wanted. My marauders dr is super cozy and silly and I love all of them dearly. And I just need to hang out with them and I’m favoring it over my golden trio dr b/c I can’t decide if I want the slytherin boys or for it to be modern and just- experiencing genuine hogwarts with them and the pranks and being so wholly loved !!! Sign me the fuck up !!

And my teen dr is super super important to me because it has all of my scripted friends in there and they’re such an important friend group to me and I’m so excited to hang out with them. I’m also dating this guy “ ☼ “ I’ve had a crush on him for a long time and I’ve manifested we get together in my or but I’m just excited to date him so I’m dating him there. I can stare at his pretty face and eyes without being weird.

god lawd, I could go on and on about my hunger games dr. It was a really bad hypertixation for me over the summer, I was watching catching fire like everyday and the lack of media made me ferallll. And I honestly love all the people there and they’re such found family and so cozy 🫂 I’ve also scripted the most for that dr and I just am so utterly excited for every moment there
