Midnight Stag I used only the Pastel brush here. Felt very nice and reminded me of the few times I've got really into pastels. This is my drawing of fellow caricaturist, and #caricatureBBQ friend, Kathy (@carikature_de_kathy), originally for the ISCA Members FB Contest, but I blew the deadline for that 3 deadlines ago! 🤡 so I never entered it. ☹️ . I've been pretty busy, and would work on this in fits and starts over the past few weeks. And I wanted to record #WIP, but I did most of the drawing in #tayasuisketches, which (I'm sorry to say), has the flakiest video capture, and would throw out the recording if there was the slightest error. . . . All color work was done in Tayasui Sketch Pro, with initial sketches done in @procreate and imported into a layer. This post includes the drawing in various stages and two #time-lapse videos of the the work in progress, captured using my iPad's screen-recording feature, and "edited" using a great iOS app called "Slow Fast". I also threw in a version with some animation effects overlaid, using the #motionleap iOS app. . . .
