Last night was a dream come true! This is the first performance I’ve given where I felt everything fell into place & I could just relax. I’m so proud of myself, my incredible cast mates, my directors & everyone involved in the production of Die Fledermaus! We put on an amazing show ❤️

Our newest Project “Die Fledermaus” in cooperation with the Operaha in Friedberg (GE) is fresh from the press! 

Like last year (Medea Comic) we illustrated a play. This time it was the operetta “Die Fledermaus” by Johann Strauss. Each of us interpreted the operetta with three illustrations.

Strauss' Die Fledermaus. San Diego, Oct 5, 1980. Joan and Beverly Sills shared the stage. · The rumour at the time was largely. Tito Capobianco - General Manager of San Diego Opera, admirer and confidant of both divas, had teased them with the idea of Die Fledermaus for years, neither of them taking him very seriously. But with patience and the deceit of telling each other had agreed, the idea became reality (he even persuaded them to alternate in their roles in a series of performances, unfortunatelly didn't happen due Sills obligations in New York).
