Don't know 'til you try right? . Tried a relatively new Japanese style restaurant apparently specialising in steamed Bao buns and Ramen . I'd be willing to bet that the bao buns are packet bought and not on house made. I could be wrong but each of the four bao where perfectly shaped. Unfortunately somewhat dense, dry and quite small. The filling was ok. Quite small morsels and not really worth the $8 price tag for each one . Lastly the spicy Ramen. Apparently the house special. Again seeming to boast another packet ingredient. Now whilst knowing this can be the norm elsewhere, it wasn't that well cooked (the noodles) and really came across as packet bought. The Pork broth was a bit spicy but killed by too much sesame oil. Sometimes some places you remember as being very good just aren’t good anymore unfortunately 🍗🥗🌶🍛😳 • The photos on their website definitely don’t match the dishes that came out. Even if it was take away 🍗🌶🥗🍛😳 • Every dish that had chicken was very dry, the salad in the chicken roti salad was old and wilted. Especially the Carrot • Pad Thai flavourless and dry. Green curry lacked depth of flavour and oomph. The chicken mango very small serving, very little sauce that came with it and again the chicken very dry and batter soggy. The hero of these dishes sadly were the Roti, satay sauce and coconut rice. 🌶🍛🥗🍗😳 • Once upon a time @krabithai used to be my go to for good, quality Thai food.
