Hey, Teyz! I hope you have a good week this week. I'm back for my usual asking, so uh, i'm wondering... (in behalf of a friend), what hobbies do the different Br characters do in their free time. (Does Theseus even have a hobby considering how busy he is or perhaps when he was younger?)

He actually has/had plenty of hobbies, most of which were featured in the story multiple times!

Tommy does gardening (as part of maintaining his butterfly garden, but also for pleasure), knitting and embroidery, he sings and plays the piano. He used to love dancing as a child, but he hadn't done that in a long while. Who knows, maybe I have an occasion planned where he'll get a chance to do that again? wink wink

Techno reads books, spars and hunts, and Niki does all of that as well as bake (they are close friends, Techno taught her to wield a sword and shoot crossbows, but her weapon of choice is a spear), Dream's a skilled sailor and has a small sailboat back home that he takes out for routine voyages around the port (he does swordfighting and chess as well, but that's more of a competition thing), Beau paints and shoots a bow, Phil cooks and is excellent at woodworking, Sally composes music, Quackity is wicked good with card games and is a self-taught magician, Foolish is a gifted shipwright who designed the royal fleet's best vessels just because he likes it, Tubbo secretly enjoys tinkering with little mechanisms like locks and does a bit of light parkour, Sam's a writer when he's not busy inventing things or improving existing architecture, Drista's main passtime is to play pranks on people but she also can throw tridents with dangerous accuracy and is one of the best harp-players in southern court, Sapnap's got a bit of a gambling problem and regardless how much George's whole personality is based around chess, he finds that reading poetry is an acceptable replacement when a worthy opponent is not available. I think Wisp's job keeps him too busy for a hobby and when Purpled isn't shooting things, he is out horseback racing or roasting people for the fun of it.

What I think the Anubis kids do in the future/for a living in no particular order.

Amber: canon tells us she does fashion, and I bet she does it really well

Mara: doctor or a lawyer. She just feels like the person who becomes a doctor or a lawyer, it honestly feels like a coin flip between them.

Eddie: he really seemed to like being the Osirian/superhero, so I could see him chasing that and being a firefighter or something. But he really seems to like food, both cooking and eating, and he seems to be good at it. I really think he would become a chef.

Patricia: I think after her experiences in season one, with all of the people she tries to go to for help lying to her and gaslighting her she becomes a private detective with the goal of helping others that no one else believes.

Alfie: He's good at magic, and enjoys it. I think he becomes a professional magician.

Willow: uhhhhh. Aura reader? Design person? Environmental activist?

Joy: based solely on the jack jackel thing I want to say buzzfeed (or equivalent other) writer.

Nina: we as fandom seem to have agreed that she becomes a writer of some sort, which I agree with, but I also assume that she studies Ancient Egypt, and possibly goes into archeology, just out of self preservation

Mick: sports. I mean what else would he do?

Fabian: I think if Sibuna never happened he would have gone into astronomy. But because his life became ancient Egypt, he becomes an egyptian historian. I also like to think that he joins a band or continues doing solo music. Not instead of being a historian, but as a hobby and that he sees some measure of success doing it.

Jerome: I can see him going into politics. He could run for office, but honestly being a political advisor seems more his speed. All the scheming, none of the responsibility.

KT: based on only hazy memories of season three, a reporter. But unlike Joy a real one for a reputable organization.

Me? Still bitter that Emma and Killian didn’t get to exchange their vows aboard the Jolly Roger even though they both clearly liked the idea? Pfff, noooo. Do I look like I still think it was unfair that Killian’s first and only suggestion about his own wedding got shut down in 0.5 seconds? (Henry, buddy, I just wanna talk) Do I look like I was disappointed to see 50 random extras dancing a weird disney channel-esqe choreography instead of more scenes from the actual wedding? Do I look like I expected a best man speech? Or any of the couple’s actual friends turning up?

Ooooohh. Since I'm on my phone and typing out long things is hard I prooooobably won't go too in-depth but I invite y'all to reblog with your own thoughts and opinions!

-A while back @realmonsterboyhours drew Bajo as a tiefling and now I can't see him as anything else. He's also bard coded, he's definitely got the charisma for it--he also plays that sexy flamenco guitar.

-You're absolutely right though, Scarabee is a no-brainer. Obviously a warlock, he's got a patron already part of his lore. Has just about every spell or potion ingredient you could think of up in his attic. As for race, I could see a half-elf. Like, there's something of the fey about him, but he's been human or at least knows what being human is like.

-Zhuk is an orc and I'll die on this hill. He's big, he's beefy, he's large and in charge. I'm also going with barbarian, based solely again on art drawn by @realmonsterboyhours of him holding a sledgehammer. Imagine big-ass swords in those meathooks of his. Or a giant axe. Or just picture him saying "fuck it" and beating someone to death with his bare hands. Look at me and tell me he wouldn't do it. Not because he isn't civilized or intelligent but because someone's gotta do the dirty work.

-Cia is an elf druid. I mean, *look at him.* Mans is about as fey coded as you can get and looks like he didn't see something that wasn't a tree until he hit triple digits. If you took the daddy energy out of Halsin, you'd be left with Ciaróg. Also, he helps his tiefling husband with his rose gardens and how cute is that??

-Gio is an enigma. He's absolutely an eldritch horror, but just for funsies, I think he'd take the form of a drow. After a couple of centuries he might change his form, but drow is his favorite. He has a lot of arcane knowledge, things that beings of this plane shouldn't know, so he just tells everyone he's a wizard. Did a lot of studying, you know.

-Saft a half-orc artificer. He's a bit of a big boi, sturdy and thick, but despite his size and his brutish heritage, he can tinker with the most delicate mechanisms. Mostly uses his knowledge to make explosives and weapons; incendiary devices are his favorite. Has built so many guns.

-Bjalla is a vampire. "hhhh but what's his race" LISTEN HERE I'M NOT CHANGING WHAT'S ALREADY PERFECT. Of course he's a fucking vampire, what else would he be? And yes, I believe he would be a rogue. No, I am not saying this because I'm also madly in love with Astarion. There will be no further questions. He's canonically an assassin, you can't tell me he wouldn't be a rogue. Yes, I have a type, leave me alone dammit.

-Mozzie gives me dwarf energy, though his size doesn't quite gel with that idea. Maybe an earth genasi? Something earthy idk. He also gives ranger vibes, someone who travels a bunch. Though in this realm of high fantasy, since internet isn't a thing, he deals in information. He can gather intel, spread rumors, manipulate the flow of knowledge from one person or place to another.

-Lag is a firbolg. He's big, he's fluffy, he's a big ol sweetheart who couldn't hurt a soul if he tried. Also probably a druid, though he's less concerned with plant life and more with animals. He's the fauna to Cia's flora.

-Devlin is a shifter. Like, it's obvious, right? Clearly he's a shifter, he's werewolf coded. And honestly, I think he's our cleric, just because I had the idea that the deity he worships is so ancient and he's been cursed so many times, he's actually forgotten its name. But also how funny would it be to have a cleric that bestows blessings and makes things holy by literally absorbing the curses and evil magic. It's fine, he's fine, it doesn't hurt! Not anymore, anyway.

hey! strictly personal i‘d say adam, fergus (i mean. it‘s more geoffrey streatfeild than fergus. idk i think fergus is unfuckable, and then i look at geoff and go insane? if that makes sense?), emma, peter (yeah sorry), jamie, dan miller, helen, malcolm, and, moving away from the main cast, simon weir & baroness sureka. hugh i wouldn’t exactly call hot but i certainly like to look.

objectively it‘s probably ollie, sam and angela as well but. 🤷🏼🤷🏼🤷🏼
