after the ending of wonderstruck, ruben asked julian to ask jamal for leon's number

once they got that sorted out, ruben would talk to leon everyday on the phone, the two being very flirty with each other

after bayern got knocked out of the champions league, leon, with nothing holding him back, asked ruben out on their first real date

it was to an oktoberfest celebration. ruben could not drink any of the beer, as he is very much a lightweight, so ruben would just kiss little amounts of beer off of leon's lips so he could say he’d had oktoberfest beer

ruben made leon a playlist and cried on the phone until leon swore to listen to the whole thing
