Los voluntarios de Token Mithrandir junto a otros voluntarios de otras organizaciones, siguen trabajando en conjunto para cuidar el medio ambiente. De esta manera la organización Diani Youth Beach, organizó una gran actividad de impacto ambiental, donde 390 personas se dedicaron a recolectar residuos de plásticos de la costa marina de Diani este sábado 21 de septiembre. Como resultado positivo se recolectaron unos 711,64 kilogramos de residuos que ya no estarán ni en el mar ni en la costa. Sino dónde deben estar en basurales.

Para esta actividad el tesoro de Token Mithrandir en conjunto con el de ADA Solar (que tiene como referentes a dos grandes personas de la comunidad de CARDANO como Kehua Yang y José Iadicicco) pudo donar unas ADAs equivalentes a 100 USDT, para la impresión de remeras y demás cuestiones organizativas. Hi guys👋🏾, hope you guys are doing well, for me I'm physically exhausted. I have a really heavy hangover too. The past two days have been an extreme sport, consecutively. I visited Diani in Kwale county for the second time at last!!🥂 I also went to Nyali beach in Mombasa county. So trust me when I say I'm EXHAUSTED! Been sleeping from the moment I arrived home. Although my body is okay now unlike yesterday.

As you all know by now, I live in Mombasa-Kenya, and I prefer living here than anywhere else to be honest. Don't worry I have a bucket list, I'll be back in Dar es salaam for sure. Mombasa is still a different county within the Coast province so don't get confused.

I have been born and raised in Mombasa so I know a good beach when I see one. Mombasa definetly has dirty beaches but it's very very lively. I can now fully say that Diani and Watamu are places you can choose to retire but as a youth this is not a place for you to develop yourself. As I was crossing the ferry, I could understand why many parents prefer their kids studying in Mombasa county.

P.S to get to Diani you have to cross the ferry.

I also undersrood why houses in Likoni/Diani arent as expensive. Most structures are swahili type of buildings. Most whites also live there, so many mansions are owned by them.

I was in Watamu two months ago and the beaches are the same as those in Mombasa, no difference but I saw an island on water, we were told it was the love island🥹. It was named this way because the shape resembles the heart. Theres also the sand dune. It's called the Mambrui sand dune desert. Looks so much like the Arabian desert in Dubai. Watamu is a cool place.

So my conclusion is that the Watamu beaches have more character than the Mombasa beaches. The Diani beaches are more clean than the Mombasa beaches, the sand is free of dirt, pure white. Crab free.

Fyi, I visited Malindi in 2014, so I can't know how the place is at the moment but I remember they have dolphins too just like Diani. Their uniqueness is the old pillars like the Vasco da gama pillar. And they have ancient houses, just like the houses in Old town in Mombasa, but for them it's almost like the whole town.

So there you go..I hope I have made your choice easier. Is it Watamu, Malindi, Diani or Mombasa🫣??? Pick your poison.
