Finished just in time to enjoy the server slam

Right after the last beta I ended up in a huge Diablo hyperfixation, so I have been drawing my personal Diablo OC's for the past several weeks. I made it a goal to finish the 7 D2 class characters by the server slam and I managed to finish my Paladin exactly at Midnight so hope everyone enjoy's the fanart. I am a little unhappy with my assassin. I think it's a good start but could use serious improvement compared to the others but my inspiration was at a low point when I worked on her. Also my friend drew a wolf helm for Phaelon that hasn't been added yet (but would cover the awesome hair) and I'll be drawing a much more armored version of Faerghas when I finish up my D3 clasees. If this post gets interest I'll try to have them done by launch. I cross posted an resdit too but feel like tumblr may appreciate this more.

The only "cheating" I did was buy the Hellfire Torch charm from a market and using ATMA V to duplicate runes and gems to fuse together in the cube. Every other unique item was legitimately grinded for over 13 years. XD

And my first Hell Andariel run after this got me the Twisted Essence of Suffering! Good to know I still have something to grind for after beating Hell Baal.

Hey Lovelies! I hope you're hanging in there. We're getting to the end of the week, and it's a long weekend for a lot of folks in the U.S.! Hopefully you've got some downtime planned (no matter where you are), you deserve a break.

Tonight I wanted to send a reminder to try and give yourself some self care this weekend. I've been very bad about it this week and my body is finally telling me so, so here's some gentle reminders for you!

Remember to take your meds today!

Drink plenty of water! Yes I know tea is delicious but it can dehydrate you, so remember to drink some water too when you get a chance :)

Take a shower or a bath, you'll feel way better afterward!

Eat something yummy, and something healthy too! Give your body something it wants, it'll tell you what it is.

Make sure you get plenty of sleep, if you have an extra day off-- take advantage of that! Sleep can do wonders for your mental and physical health.

Try to laugh if you can-- watch something funny, read something funny, look up a terrible dad joke on the internet-- ask a friend for a laugh. Laughter can do so much for us and helping to release some of our fight or flight stressors.

You're doing great lovelies. I know it's been a lot lately, but you're really doing great. You've been working so hard, and you're making incremental progress towards your goals. I'm really proud of you. Remember to be proud of yourself too <3 You are such an amazing person, and you deserve to rest too.

Well, I am a bit ashamed of this one and proud of it at the same time.

I have a phase, with some hyperfixation on woman shaped and curvatures. I can't paint them correctly so I tried old fashioned color pens, despite the setback that I know would come fast and strong. And I wanted to try something harder - at least for my brain : playing with the inverse contrast and colors.

I don't have black paper and I found it funny to play with the reverse color effect on my tablet, last time, so I decided to think the drawing that way. The fluorescent light would be my color with paler shades as I go to the reverse shadows.

Then I played with filters and render.

I took some models for the poses but these some characters of my longest fiction, in Diablo universe. I might try to draw more of them if you don't mind.

Let me give you some descriptions for those characters.

On the left, this is Kalinda (full OC), first concubine of the Vizir of Luth Golheim. In her country women seem to have no rights, but Kalinda proves that she has more power than her husband. He rules under the light. She rules in the shadows, pulling strings for her husband to prevail.

Kalinda is a mature woman. Black hair. Brown skinned. Indian typed. Bisexual.

On the right, this is Astrid, my OC taken form the spear amazon of Diablo 2. She has a dark past, but her experience helps Annor (the heroine) to overcome some of the worst things. She helps her to discover a part of her feminity, in a dark moment. Best friend with maternal attentions.

The golden filter is there to illustrate her aura, that she can use as an almost perfect shield.

Astrid is in her 30's. Blonde. Light skinned. Nordique type.

Maltatai: The summer vacation is going fine on the Amazon isles and everyone is relaxing after yet another world resetting demon invasion and awaiting news of Tyraels completion of the task of sending the cheating ancients to hell. And not even the last desperate attempt from Törnrosa to instigate unrest can break the jovial and benign cheerful atmosphere here...right?

Snövit: But of course not!

Rödluvan: That would be really immature, bickering over an inscribed apple.

Askungen: Certainly so. Quite unnecessary.

Snövit: Could not have put it better myself. We all know the answer anyway.

Askungen: Indeed, we certainly do.

We watched DreamWork's Puss in Boots (2011). It is a spin off of the Shrek film series rather than a version of the fairytale Puss in Boots. Puss in Boots is directed by Chris Miller with the screenplay by Tom Wheeler. The film follows the origin story of Puss in Boots on his adventures years before the adventures of Shrek 2 (2004). Puss in Boots voiced by Antio Banderas, is accompanied by his friends Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis) and Kitty Softpaws (Salma Hayek) to battle against Jack and Jill for the ownership of the magical beans and the fortune of the golden eggs. Puss in Boots is named after his signature pair of black boots. He is a fugitive on the run from the law seeking to clear his name. Humpty is Puss in Boots long lost childhood friend who tricked him into committing a bank robbery in his hometown of San Ricardo. Puss in Boots is reluctant to join him again but Kitty Softpaws persuades him. After many adventures, the double crossing Humpty meets his fate and Puss in Boots is hailed as a hero for saving San Ricardo, although the military still regard him as a fugitive. Puss in Boots and Kitty Softpaws share a dance and kiss at the end. Puss In Boots is shown in the 2.39:1 (Cinemascope) aspect ratio. The music for Puss in Boots is composed by Henry Jackman. He used folk instruments traditionally found in Latin music. Lady Gaga's song 'Americano' also features in the film. The score was released in October 2011. The premiere for Puss in Boots was held on October 16th 2011 aboard the cruise ship Allure of the Seas in Florida. Puss in Boots was a big box office success and the third highest grossing animated film of the year behind Kung Fu Panda 2 and Cars 2. Puss in Boots was critically well received with an approval rating of 86% and an average rating of 6.9/10. It grossed $70.4 million and was a great success. It included a short animated film called 'The Three Diablos'. Puss in Boots was released on Blu-Ray, DVD and Blu-Ray 3D on the 24th February 2012. Interestingly, Puss in Boots was never released on 4K Blu-Ray in the UK, however the US version is region free. The sequel to Puss in Boots was released in December 2022 and called 'The Last Wish'. I will definitely watch and review this film in future, watch this space! I first saw Puss in Boots when I bought it as a Triple Play Blu-Ray, DVD & Digital Copy in 2012. Puss in Boots is available to stream in the UK on Amazon Prime Video, YouTube and Netflix. I bought it on YouTube in High Definition. Although it is not a film I regularly watch, when I do I really enjoy the visual effects, voice acting and the storyline. Puss in Boots has a quirkiness about it that reminds me of Rango which was released in the same year.

What videos games do you play the most? 👀

Right now, I haven't been gaming much. But I usually play Destiny 2. I've also played quite a bit of Diablo IV, Dying Light 2, and Dead Island 2. I took off work for an entire week just to play Dying Light 2 when it came out and have played it through 3x. 😅

i had an archer hireling since the amazon village in diablo 2 and got her to level 23 but then we both died against duriel....... i was so sad...... i then died like 3 times by myself but finally killed him and i was so so SO sad Elly was also dead...... i went back to get another amazon since i like the archers and i was SO happy i could revive her omg. in my mind elly and sigurd, my bonemancer, are now bound by blood and death...... stronger warriors bond than any simple marriage pact..... i dont care if there are better hirelings im taking elly to the end of the game !!!

now time to kill the demons of kurast.....
