Amanda Brotzman took the Rowdy 3 to see Barbie, and was too flabbergasted by how still and quiet the boys were being to pay much attention to the movie.

they stayed completely stationary and engrossed in the film, up until the last joke before the credits rolled. Amanda looked over at them, only for Vogel to be the only one there. The other three dipped before Vogel could ask them what a gynecologist is.

Pricks.

friedkin being basically the only other person who seems to (slighty) understand people’s holistic abilities (aside from the holistics themselves) is such a good fucking ending for his character. for the entirety of the show he was reduced to a “dumb idiot”, so much so that when he pulls a gun on ken in the final episode, ken just tells him to stop being a moron. thats how much he’s underestimated by all the other characters, even when threatening someone they just assume he doesnt know what hes doing. but despite working for blackwing for years, and eventually “running” the place, he still has a sort of redemption at the end, proving that he can push through everything he’s been told, proving everyone wrong about his intelligence. “you can’t control it, that’s not how it works” damn right friedkin. rest in peace you would have loved audiobooks.

also: in the backstage, todd and amanda both have black blobby eye thingies. but friedkins eyes are red. idk what that means but it measn something.

You think it was Todd cuz he was late to work? That makes no sense. Why would him being late to work mean he murdered someone? That’s the weakest evidence ever. Also you wouldn’t tell your lead suspect that you suspected them during the first five minutes of talking with them. That’s just bad detective work.

hi 2 questions!! what is dhgda? and what happens in s2??

1. dghda: dirk gently’s holistic detective agency! its a show! i watched it for the first time in jan and i think its the last show i finished ^^; but its really good! definitely recommend. the tl;dr is that its abt solving cases (one each season, 2 seasons) by finding out how all the different situations that dirk pulls the rest of the cast into are connected even tho they dont seem like they are! (thats where holistic comes from)

2. minor spoilers i guess? theres a boat in a tree in the middle of a field like way far away from any major bodies of water. ill put the rest of the spoilers under the cut lol

and it apparently had just appeared there one day. but its bc theres a boy who has the ability that his dreams come true. so he dreamt that a boat was in a tree and then it fell out of the sky and into the tree.

god.... im rewatching the bit of s2 dirk gently when hes being hunted by priest .......my fuvking heart is breakinf, hes so hopeless, u can see the lonely trapped boy he used to be, "every move i make puts people in danger" he said. and then when he said "ive blown this like i blow everything! WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! and then I end up alone." i see Dirk, again, doing those horrible tests and failing them again and again.... wrong, wrong, wrong. god. i need season 3...
