Dream Journal Entry

Had to get some sleep during the day the day before the last, i try to stay away from daytime vsleeping, it normally wastes my daytime hours and leaves me with a certain grogginess and feverish temperament that is hard to shake off. The sleeping spell was brought on during stream, I was playing DFO, just a quickplay, wanted to start a new character for old times sake, play a class ive never played in all my years of playing the game. In light of the recent release of The First Berserker based on its universe, of which my feelings are reserved, and more or less complacent.

**** It's not that I don't like it, I just feel like it barely scratches the surface, as it changes the narrative to suit a certain design, one which will not prevail, and will get beaten, over and over, without ever becoming a full addition, it's a full demo, not a full game. Not to mention it is totally singleplayer and completely panders to the boss slayer community. Id prefer the arcade action that I enjoyed the series for, lots of enemies, flashy skills, and team play and synergy. This disdain is heightened by the almost total deconstruction of the original title. It wouldn't hurt so bad, if I had somewhere to go back to, but they are burning it down, preeeeeettty good. And unapologetically so.****

But for some reason during play, it was like the oxygen got sucked out, and i started to pass out, so i decided to give up the ghost and get some sleep.

Anyways, i laid down, struggling to get to sleep, surprisingly, after having fallen asleep for minutes at a time during the stream. Setting the stream onto some live matrix clips and music, not expecting to be down for long. As soon as i finally lost consciousness my dream was of me having laid down underneath a spider infested old wooden bench... i woke up abruptly just as soon as a spider got close enough to my eyeball. It had only been about 5 minutes or less of me losing consciousness. I had to shake it off, so I tried again.

This time, i ended up in my grandmothers backyard, apparently Me, Achilles and Patroclus were having a competition to see who could pick the most prickly pears. A type of Cactus fruit. We were using shovels to knock them out of the trees, and one or a couple landed on my head, getting stuck, and oozing a red juice all over the top of my head. It didn't cause me any pain, so i don't think it was blood, but It just about drenched me. By then, Thor, or who i think was Thor could have been Zeus showed up and began to argue with Achilles, i guess us picking them in the first place was some kind of punishment in the first place, and Achilles was making light of having borrowed a boat one time, not telling anyone and taking it out to see for months, me, and Patroclus were included in this but it was Achilles' idea. Achilles got scolded, kind of pulled up to the heavens, on the mast of a ship, storms and lightning crackling in the background as Zeus, or Thor puts the shovel we were using to knock pears out of a cactus tree to his throat, as he raised his voice at him.

The dream ends there, and I woke up sometime after 8pm. My stream crashed, as my pc does whenever I lay down, or stop using it for more than a few moments. Anyways, it was kind of funny, other than the prickly pears i could not get off of my head and I would have probably laughed, if I wasn't so sure I was going to be scolded as well.

been big into Dungeon Fighter Online for a long time (thanks to my sis, she convinced me to play it way back in the nexon days) got back into it way bigger than ever with neople a few years back

of all the announcements last year, a DFO based fighter was not something i expected and in recent weeks they’ve been putting out way more info for it all leading up to an open beta this weekend.

out of all the fighting games i’ve played the one i’m most into and that i think i’m best at relatively speaking is Battle for the Grid, i want to get dedicated to this one too, that’s how stoked i am! can’t wait :D

Reactions to the leaks of Ch283

Tumblr is trying to limit my love so I can’t show you all the images but this hellsite can’t shut me up.

We are in full SnK territory with Gigantomachia smashing his way through a town full of civilians. Though, he is more of a Godzilla-type: he is walking and nothing will stop him, doesn’t care about the squishy human down there.

Can you just imagine the faces of the members of the LoV? They are trapped on the back of a pissed off kaiju, desperately hanging on?

I would just be screaming like crazy if I was them.

Aizawa is passed out, something I can understand since he just cut his leg off, probably without blinking, fifty seconds ago.

I don’t know anything about Japanese and I couldn’t tell you what is being said but it’s okay because if Shiggy is the one talking, I am pretty sure Izuku heard: “Murder me in a gruesome way, pretty please.”

Wow, that sounds like it hurts.

I have no idea if Izuku is the one who did this. Some part of me who really loves Feral Deku wants it to be him but on the other hand, Shiggy has been splitting open since the start of this fight. He wasn’t ready to be left out of his cocoon and I have been expecting the poor guy to drop dead mid-battle because his body can’t handle the strain of so many quirks.

Characters in fighting games that make me think of Ares.

This is going to be vaguely nonsensical and kinda dumb. But hey, that's Tumblr.

Berserker (DNF Duel/DFO)

This homicidal motherfucker is the ultimate definition of 'will run the fade with basically anything'. Most of his moves involve the use of hemomancy in order to Fucking Kill You With Sword. Violence is what he's best at, and he loves his job.

Brawler (DNF Duel/DFO)

The definition of cutthroat. He doesn't care about the rules of combat, but only smashing in his opponent's teeth in or killing them. Any dirty trick you can think of, he will not hesitate to do. That includes hitting you with a spiked bat covered in landmines, because if you're not going all out in a fight, you're not trying.

Cody Travers (Street Fighter)

Cody just fights for the love of the game. There was backstory to this at first, but now it's simply to get out of doing desk work. Other than that, stuff can similarly be said for him as I said for Brawler. Doesn't really care about the rules. Dirty fighter. Would rather hit you in the head with a lead pipe. Shit like that.

Sol Badguy (Guilty Gear)

This one is mainly just vibes and personality. He's not stupid, but would rather just punch someone in the face instead of having to really rack his brain about something.

Troubleshooter (DNF Duel/DFO)

A mercenary for hire, he can be a smooth talker and rather charming. But at the end of the day, he is only loyal to what he can be paid. Just so happens that those who hire him pay a Lot. Also, the man uses enough explosives to delete the sun and I find it to just Fit.

Bryan Fury (Tekken)

Again, pure vibes. But also...look at him. It's like if homicidal urges became a person and was given cybernetics and the ability to kickbox.
